Abstract

This research background is the lack of student participation, learning methods that have not been able to increase motivation to learn, and the lack of students' interest in learning. This study aims to show whether the implementation of Teams Games Tournaments learning methods has an influence on the variables of student motivation, learning interest, and student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 12 Malang. The method in this research use Quasi Experimental and Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection by observation and interview. The result of the data analysis in the research experiment are: (1) Method of TGT did not influence the students' motivation, (2) Methods of TGT influenced the students' interest, (3) Method of TGT influenced the students' learning outcomes. Therefore it can be concluded that learning method implementation of Teams Games Tournament does not influence the learning method, but influences the interest and learning outcomes of the students.

Abstract

Twitter is a microblogging social network where one can write up to 280 characters in one tweet. Indonesia emerged as the fifth largest country in terms of Twitter users. Seeing how many Twitter users in Indonesia can certainly be used by companies in creating new business strategies to serve their customers, but some social account users objection if they have to reveal their identities. These problems can be solved by developing a system for classifying based on tweets from users, this system is certainly useful because it saves time. The system is designed using the BM25 method for calculating similarities between documents and KNN for classifying data. the system used 1000 documents, then the document is tested with K-Fold Cross Validation using K = 10 so that 900 training documents and 100 testing documents are obtained on each K. The next test is about neighbor values, neighbor values used are 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50, the test results show that the optimal neighbor value is k = 3. At k = 3 the value of accuracy, precision, recall and F-Measure of the average Cross Validation 10 fold are 68.6%, 67.63%, 71.52% and 69.34%.

Abstract

The Islamic Learning Application with the Android-based Quiz method is an Islamic religious learning application using the quiz method. There are multiple-choice quizzes, true-false quizzes, materials, work statistics, and work progress. A total of 27 respondents out of 35 respondents said that taking a quiz about Islam could help them learn Islam. From the questionnaire, the researcher makes a problem formulation that contains what the functional and non-functional requirements of the application are and whether these needs can be realized in an Android-based application. In this study, the waterfall method is used in developing its application. At the requirements analysis stage, a general description of the system will be identified, user identification, functional requirements analysis which is also depicted in use case diagrams and use case scenarios, and non-functional requirements. At the design stage, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, operation design, data design, and interface design will become a guide in implementing the application. At the implementation stage, the system implementation and interface implementation will be explained. After the application has been completed, there is a testing phase. This testing phase goes through two tests, validity testing and usability testing. In testing the validity, black box testing is used, and the results are 100% valid. In the usability test, the System Usability Scale (SUS) is used. The System Usability Scale test results obtained a total SUS score of 927.5 and an average SUS of 77.29. This category was classified as acceptable, in the good category, and classified as having a sufficient predicate.

Abstract

The website of the Agency of Population and Civil Registration of Sidoarjo Regency is a service portal owned by the Sidoarjo Regency Government which aims to provide online-based services to the people of Sidoarjo. In accordance with Regent Regulation No. 46 of 2018, there is a need for a guarantee of service quality and an increase in the quality of online-based services from every field of government in Sidoarjo Regency. So it is necessary to evaluate the service tools belonging to the Sidoarjo Regency Government to be able to continue to improve the quality of their services, one of them is the website of the Sidoarjo Regency Population and Civil Registration Service, which is located at www.disdukcapil.sidoarjokab.go.id. This study aims to find usability problems from the website and provide recommendations for improvements to the findings of these problems. This study uses the Heuristic Evaluation method in evaluating the website by involving 3 experts in the UI / UX field. From the evaluation results found 19 heuristic problems which are divided into 2 cosmetic problems, 2 minor problems, 2 major problems, and 13 catastrophic problems. From the findings of these problems, recommendations for improvement were given in the form of a visual user interface design of 5 web page designs with 19 recommendations for improvement.

Abstract

Melon fruit has many benefits and vitamin content that is useful for health. There are various types of melons that are superior in Indonesia, one of which is the Sky Rocket Melon. This type of melon is round and has a thick, green rind. The entire surface of the skin is covered with gray nets and has greenish yellow flesh. Currently, there is no technology that can determine the sweetness level of a melon. To find out, it is necessary to split or slice some of the flesh. This method is considered very impractical, so it takes a technological innovation only with digital image analysis. This research uses the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix and Support Vector Machine methods. In this study, using variations in the value of d = 1, 2 and angular direction θ = 0 °, 45 °, 90 °, 135 ° with 5 features, namely contrast, homogeneity, energy, dissimilarity and correlation. The detection of melon fruit classes is divided into sweet and unsweetened classes using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) by testing 3 kernels, namely Linear, RBF and Polynomial. This study used a Raspberry Pi camera to take pictures of melons with a distance of 10 cm detected by the ultrasonic sensor. Melon detection results will be displayed on the 16x4 LCD. In ultrasonic sensor testing, an average error of 1.97% was obtained with an ultrasonic sensor accuracy of 98.03%. In testing this system, the highest accuracy was obtained by the RBF kernel with a variation of the distance d = 2 and the angular direction θ = 45 °, which was 86% with an average computation time of 8.5403 seconds.

Abstract

Apple fruit is one of the many types of fruit that has many benefits including preventing disease, nourishing the body and can lose weight. In general, some apple sellers are still unable to distinguish in the selection of apples with the right maturity level, while the human accuracy is not all the same. Everyone has different perceptions in making assessments. Also not everyone has a sharp sense of vision to color. Therefore, a study was made on a system that can classify the level of maturity of apples using the naive Bayes method. This method is a method that is quite good in classifying because the classes to be used are predetermined. In this study, the apple used was Rome Beauty. The level of maturity based on color and weight can be divided into three, namely raw green and ripe reddish yellow and foul yellow cloudy. The sensor readings are processed on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The results obtained from this study are the level of accuracy on the load cell weight sensor of 96.09% and the level of accuracy on the color sensor of 96.67%. Also obtained the level of accuracy of the calculation of the naive Bayes classification of 100% and the system execution time with an average of 0.725 seconds.

Abstract

Malang Regency is one of the regency in East Java that has the largest population in Java, this causes the UMKM businessmen who are scattered in Malang Regency to be very numerous and varied. This study aimed to obtain UMKM product recommendations in Malang Regency which are registered in RKB Malang Regency. AHP and SAW are the methods of Decision Support System that were used to obtain UMKM product recommendations which compatible with the criteria weights that desired by the user. AHP method was used to calculate the weight of product criteria, meanwhile the SAW method was used to get the value of alternative product weights. The result of product's weighted alternative would be ranked from the largest to the smallest value, product with the largest weighted alternative value were the product that recommended by system based on the weighted criteria desired by the user. Based on the results of testing that using 7 cases testing accuracy testing that comparing the results of system with users,ait could be analyzed that the AHP and SAW methods were quite effective in getting product recommendations with an average value of 71,43%.

Abstract

Internship is an activity that held in PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya regularly supposed to look for competent prospective workers according to a company standard. Furthermore, the internship is a synchronization process between educational program in school or college of mastering the skill throughout the work activity directly. Welcoming the street vendor acceptance, the preparation begins by making an agreement on the amount of capacity each division and informing the capacity to the street vendor. Nevertheless, some trouble found is a quota submission flow conventionally which is the person in charge directly comes to the division provided. In addition, there is no any quota information yet for the internship participants. The internship participant management is committed manually, such as providing the internship participant letter, identity card, inputting the score and certification distribution. Therefore, the research is conducted by supposed to solve those troubles and produce the information system for managing the internship participant using framework laravel. Rapid Application Development is the expansion to start. As a result, the system produces 51 functional needs tested by using unit testing and validation produced valid in each test case. Non-functional necessity testing gets two, using sortsite application for compatibility as a result that system could be used for determined web browser. User Acceptance Test (UAT) is also done for each task given with a 100% result.
