Abstract

i-Waris is an application that provides legacy calculations for users who need it. The downloader's assessment data on the PlayStore application market shows that there are still many users who still question the existing calculations in the i-Waris application because there are many calculations that confuse users. Even though this feature is the main feature of the application, users feel that they are not getting maximum results in this application. Therefore, we evaluate the usability of user convenience and how user interacts with the i-Waris application. To find out the usability conditions used usability testing with a qualitative approach, which provides 17 task scenarios and in each scenario there is a SEQ (Single Ease Question) questionnaire from the results of the SEQ questionnaire in the i-Waris application getting an average value of 3.2 which means it is in the difficult category. . From usability testing with 17 task scenarios, new problems are found in the i-Waris application. The results of interviews and observations indicate that the i-Waris application still has many problems and lacks the information required by users, for example the inaccessible “about” page and explanation of calculation results that do not exist on the mobile application. The problems found in the i-Waris application are 33 problems. Therefore, it is necessary to fix the i-Waris application to solve existing problems such as fixing the "about" page and fixing the information / explanation that is more accurate.

Abstract

Website quality is one of the crucial factors that has a big influence on the image of the organization (library), but it can also affect users which result in user behavior towards services. Major changes in library system requirements also bring high demands or requirements from service users regarding the quality of library information systems. According to Zeithaml in a study by Manasra et.al (2013), a website that offers better performance, including specific quality of a good website will be useful in increasing user satisfaction. This study analyzes user perception and user expectations of the quality of the UB library website using Webqual 4.0 and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The results of the measurement of performance and importance show a very good level of conformity between the two with an average percentage of> 85%. However, in the IPA quadrant analysis, the website quality on the U3, U4, IQ11, and SIQ22 indicators cannot meet user expectations. Because the performance value of this indicator is below the average overall performance value. Researchers hope that the results of this research can be used as a reference for the management of the UB library website to improve / improve the quality and answer user expectations of the quality of the website.

Abstract

Blockchain is a database system that has a decentralized architecture, where every data contained in the blockchain system is spread across all peers that are connected in the blockchain system. One of the most discussed blockchain uses is cryptocurrency, which was coined by Bitcoin. In the hashing process on the blockchain system used by Bitcoin using the SHA-256 algorithm, a weakness has been found of the SHA-256 algorithm, namely the preimage attack using the biclique concept on the compression function owned by SHA-256. This is what underlies the author to implement blockchain in peer-to-peer transactions using the U-Quark algorithm. The author uses the U-Quark algorithm because the architecture owned by the Quark Family hashing uses a combination of block ciphers and stream ciphers owned by Katan and Grain for permutations and uses Sponge Construction as its constructor. There are 3 factors tested in this study, namely test vectors, functional, and availability. In vector testing, the resulting digest value is the same between the implemented U-Quark algorithm and the digest value that has been determined in the hashing family Quark. In functional testing using the blackbox method with 100% valid results. The Availability tester generates the same data in every peer available in the blockchain system. The U-Quark algorithm consists of 3 stages, namely the initialization phase, the absorbing phase, the squeezing phase, and the blockchain system built involves 2 types of systems, namely the blockchain system and the wallet system. The blockchain system functions as a storage system and a wallet system as a place to enter transactions into the blockchain system.

Abstract

Tobacco plants in Indonesia are still a plantation commodity that is widely cultivated by the people of Indonesia. The obstacles are often found by farmers in the garden due to the increase of disruptive organisms such as viruses. In an effort to maintain the quality of tobacco products, farmers should know as quickly as possible the disease that is infecting crops so that it requires experts to identify the disease. While experts sometimes need time to review directly to the garden. Therefore, farmers and experts need applications that can help in the process of identification of tobacco diseases so as to provide treatment recommendations in order to shorten the time. The application was developed by implementing an Android-based prototyping development model, assisted by ibm Watson Visual Recognition services and implemented in Java language. After the prototype is finished, it is then evaluated using cognitive walkthrough and it is concluded that the functions in the prototype are in accordance with the needs. Then a second iteration is carried out to add consultation features, after which the finished application is tested first by using Whitebox and Blackbox tests that produce 100% valid built as needed. Then performed usability testing with System Usability Scale method to measure user comfort when using the application and obtained SUS score results that fall into acceptable category.

Abstract

Nasab is something that must be learned by Muslims and also nasab science related to other Islamic sciences such as inheritance and marriage. Therefore, we need an application that can record traces of family tree that can also help Muslims in meeting their nasab needs. MyHeritage is a family pedigree track record application that has been used by more than 1 million users worldwide. This research aims to find the level of usability of the MyHeritage application and also to find out whether this application meets the Muslim needs of nasab science. The usability testing method is used in this study by using a matrix of efficiency, effectiveness, error rate, and satisfaction to find the usability level. In this study also used SUS, SEQ, and closed-ended question questionnaires. The 31 participants were given a task scenario to do with a total of 19 tasks. Participants must also answer 19 questions in the SEQ questionnaire, each of which is done after completing each task. If all tasks and all SEQ questionnaires are completed, participants must fill in the closed-ended questionnaire and fill in the SUS questionnaire to measure satisfaction. MyHeritage application gets a value of 60.34% for the level of effectiveness and 60% for the level of efficiency. At the level of error rate, this application gets a value of 40.45% and a value of 47 on SUS which is low in the level of satisfaction. The MyHeritage application is felt to have fulfilled the Muslim needs for nasab science because all participants have argued that the kinship of the participants has been explained and 51.6% of the participants felt the need for their nasab was fulfilled

Abstract

SMAN 15 Surabaya uses the website to disseminate information and news about the school to students. As one of the senior high schools that was included in the regional school category in Surabaya, it is important for SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya to provide qualified facilities as a form of quality assurance supervision. Thus, it is necessary to evaluate the quality of website service performance which until now has never been done. This assessment was carried out using the Webqual 4.0 and IPA methods. The results of testing on 107 students of SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya showed that there were 4 attributes with a high priority level of improvement, namely display attractiveness, timeliness, layout and format of information, and how easy it is to attract interest and attention. So that improvements will be focused on improving the appearance of the website and consistency in the delivery of information. Then there are 3 attributes with a low priority level of improvement, namely detailed information, relevance of information, and the ease of students in communicating with teachers. So that improvements are more focused on the content of information. While the other attributes have had good performance to excess so that it is sufficient to maintain the quality of its performance and does not require improvement. Recommendations for improvement given to attributes with high and low priority for improvement refer to research journals related to website interface design and appearance as well as HHS Web Usability Guidelines.

Abstract

Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) Arrhythmia is a condition in which the heart beats irregularly. The PVC condition causes the heart to beat too fast or be too slow than it should be. PVC Arrhythmias appear in the lower part of the heart or commonly called the ventrical (chambers) of the heart. Patients with PVC Arrhythmia have a risk of experiencing heart failure, coronary heart disease, and other heart diseases if the PVC Arrhythmia condition occurs continuously. Currently, PVC Arrhythmia can only be detected in the hospital at a cost that is quite expensive. Therefore, research in detecting PVC Arrhythmias is needed in order to solve the cost problem required. There are several parameters that can be used in detecting PVC Arrhythmias, in this study the QRS Interval, QT Interval, and ST segment were selected as parameters. These parameters are in each cycle of the ECG signal which will be read using the AD8232 sensor. Reading the ECG signal requires 3 electrodes attached to the user's body. The placement of the electrodes is on the chest by attaching 2 electrodes and on the stomach by attaching 1 electrode. The ECG signal obtained by the AD8232 sensor will then be processed on the Arduino Uno to reduce the noise obtained and classified by the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The use of training data as much as 46 heart data with 23 types of PVC data and 23 types of normal data will be embedded in the SVM method. SVM classification testing was carried out with 20 cardiac data. Classification test results are in the form of class "Normal" or "PVC". Every 3 SVM classification results will be used to determine the type of heart condition. Types of heart conditions include "Normal", "Bigeminy", and "Trigeminy" which will later be shown on the LCD so that users know the condition of their heart. In testing the SVM accuracy level, it was obtained a value of 85% with 1.79 seconds of average training time and 2.49 seconds of average testing time.

Abstract

Vega farm is a business that is engaged in animal husbandry. Veg farms are focused on raising laying hens, where laying hens are a type of chicken that is specially raised for eggs. In one year laying hens can produce about 250-300 eggs. In vega farms, all production activities carried out must go through a process of recording that is useful as an evaluation material in the development of laying egg production for every day. However, the recording process carried out on vega fram farms is still done manually, namely the recording of data is still recorded using a book which is then transferred to Excel. Therefore, based on these problems, this research developed a web-based management information system that can help vega farms in managing production data of laying hens. This research uses the waterfall method in developing information systems which are implemented using the PHP programming language in the codeigniter framework. This system has been tested with the blackbox method for validation testing that produces 1115 test cases with 100% valid results, whitebox testing for unit testing, compatibility testing for testing non-functional requirements and based on the results of tests that have been carried out the system can run on different web browsers different.

Abstract

The high consumption of native chickens by people in Indonesia indirectly demands the field of native chicken farming so that the need for the amount of meat can be met. In the initial stage, namely breeding, breeders need to produce chicken eggs to be used as seeds, where the success of hatching eggs can be identified by monitoring at the age of 8 days of the incubation period. These eggs can be identified earlier at the age of 5 days of incubation but require good eye ability because the chicken embryos that are formed are still small. A fertility classification system is needed so that eggs can be identified whether they are capable of hatching or not. The system in this study uses the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method for the feature extraction process from an egg image. The extraction results are reprocessed using the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method so that the results of the classification of the egg image classification are fertile or infertile. The data used are images of eggs that have gone through an incubation period of 5 days and are photographed with the aid of a flashlight. The results of this study, the GLCM method was able to extract features from the image of native chicken eggs, either fertile or infertile, with a significant value. Whereas for the LVQ method, the best test results are using learning rate of 0.05 and for GLCM using 5 features with 0 degree for angle orientation, with an accuracy value of 88.13%.

Abstract

Inventory is one of the important things for institutions to support various kinds of needs. One of the institutions that cannot be separated from inventory is schools. There are so many items in school that it is necessary to have better inventory management to manage these items so that these items can be used properly. However, this can cause various problems if management is still conventional, data items can be lost, damaged, and mismatch data between one data and another. Therefore, an inventory management system was created so that can use make it easier to manage inventory. System is built in website platform using ReactJs and Redux, and programming language is javascript, html, and css. Database system using firebase. System development life cycle using RAD (Rapid Application Development), this methodology has been choosen because the design work process involves the user, so the results obtained are in accordance with the users hope. Functional testing in this research uses whitebox testing and blackbox testing. Non-functional testing uses compatibility testing and security testing. The results of functional testing using blackbox and whitebox testing are 100% valid and the results of non-functional testing which is security testing is 100% valid while the results of compatibility testing are only be run on certain versions of the browsers.
