Abstract

Dander Water Park is a tourism place managed by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Bojonegoro Regency. Dander Water Park ticket counter still uses a manual system, where the ticket purchases are limited to cash payment. In addition, both visitor and ticket sales data are still reported manually. This ticket sales and reporting mechanism causing problems because tourists have to come directly to Dander Water Park to buy and find out the availability of the tickets, it also takes a long time to collect data of visitors and ticket sales, moreover, there are frequent errors found in the process of visitors data collection. This research will develop an e-ticketing system that is integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway to overcome these problems. System development was carried out using waterfall method. This research produced 21 use cases, 16 activity diagrams, 20 sequence diagrams, class diagrams consist of 11 class models and 14 class controllers, 27 UI designs, and 10 tables resulted from database design using Physical Data Model (PDM). The system implementation was carried out using MySQL with programming language PHP utilizing the Laravel 7.29.3 and Bootstrap 4.5 framework, and succeeded developing an e-ticketing system that was integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway. Black-box testing gets 100% valid results. Compatibility testing found that this system is compatible but still has several minor and major issues. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) gets final results of 78,55%, which means the system has been accepted with agreed results.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of usability in a web-based GIS. The purpose of this research is to compare the ability and depth of the user-based usability evaluation method in exploring problems in a web-based GIS. The data were collected from a group of respondents who were determined by the researcher using purposive sampling by evaluating the usability of each method. The methods included were usability testing (N = 5), user interviews (N = 10), and surveys (N = 20). A total of 61 usability problems were found using three methods. Usability testing found 28 problems (46%), interviews found 20 problems (32%), and the survey method found 13 problems (21%). Of the 28 problem categories according to the usability problem taxonomy (UPT), the usability testing method covers 21 categories (75%), while the interview method covers 17 categories (60%), and the survey method covers 13 categories (46%). The three methods complement each other because each method successfully covers a unique problem category. The combination of usability testing, interviews, and surveys can explore all problems and cover all problem categories in a web-based GIS.

Abstract

Current transportation development system has giving easiness for society to moving from place to another places. One of quite new public transportation is Light Rail Transit (LRT). LRT or light railroad have an opportunity to held public trial access for free just by registering yourself in LRT Jakarta website. For improving and maximize LRT Jakarta services, they have social media account where people may give feedback and assessment. One of way that could be done is by sentiment analysis to find out whether the society likes the services provided by LRT Jakarta. This study is using the Improved KNN as a classification method to determine people sentiment coupled with Information Gain to select features used during the classification process. The process of sentiment analysis includes data collection, text preprocessing that produces clean data, then weighting the terms with tf idf followed by feature selection using Information Gain. The next step is classification with Improved KNN using the features of the previous selection. The data used are primary data sourced from three social media namely Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. The results of this study are the best f-measure obtained when k = 11 using a 100% threshold or the whole term used that is equal to 85.51% with an average computational time calculated from 5-fold of 0.4647 minutes.

Abstract

PT Satnetcom Balikpapan is a company that integrate, designs and develops a combination of communications, hardware and software for the mining, oil and gas industries. From the results of data collection that has been done by the author, it was found that information management of operational goods in the company's inventory is still done manually. Companies often find misinformation on inventory such as stock information on availability of goods, location of goods, and information related to item details. Frequently this misinformation causes delays in services provided by the company. In this study, we will build a website-based inventory information system with the Waterfall software development method. the results of functional testing with Black-box testing, the validity results are 100%, this shows that the system is running according to user expectations. And from the non-functional with compatibility testing test results found that information system of inventory can run very well on various computer web-browsers.

Abstract

Time Synchronization is a method used to synchronize a node on the network. The purpose of Time Synchronization is to equalize the nodes on the network and after the Time Synchronization method is implemented, other supporting methods can be implemented as well. There are various synchronization methods that have been circulating and have been implemented, in this study using the Reference Broadcast Synchronization method in this method using a beacon as a marker for synchronizing the time for the communication media used is Bluetooth Low Energy, the system design in this study uses 3 1 node will serve as BLE Server and 2 nodes will be used as BLE clients. The function of the BLE Server is a trigger that will send a beacon to each BLE Client, the BLE Client will receive the beacon and synchronize the RBS time. The hardware used in this research is the ESP32 microcontroller as the main processing, the DS3231 RTC Module as a timer for each BLE client. The test parameters carried out are the calculation of the accuracy of synchronization of computation time and time when synchronizing time, testing the calculation of the accuracy of the finished system getting a value of 16.3ms, which means synchronization of RBS time on BLE communication media produces a fairly accurate value, while testing computational calculations from the finished system produces a value of 133.1ms which means synchronization of RBS time on BLE communication media produces fast time.

Abstract

Malang Raya is the largest coffee producing region in East Java after Banyuwangi and Jember. Besides that, Malang Raya is also an area with a lot of coffee consumption. Many coffee enthusiasts and coffee shops are found. However, many coffee shops supply coffee from distributors who source coffee from outside the Malang area. So that Malang Raya coffee production is not maximized to meet the needs of its own region. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a geographic information system for coffee production in Malang Raya to provide information on coffee production in Malang. In developing the system, the development that is used is waterfall with CodeIgniter and OpenLayers as its framework. The system requirements analysis phase resulted in 4 types of users, 13 functional requirements, and 3 non-functional requirements. The design phase produces sequence diagram modeling, class diagrams, databases, components, and interfaces which are then processed to be implemented at the system implementation phase. The testing phase is done by using white box with a type of base path testing for unit and integration testing, black box for validation testing, a questionnaire with a Likert Scale for availability and consistency testing, and SortSite tools for compatibility testing. So that a system is produced that can display maps and information on coffee production as well as space for farmers to market their products. Based on the test results, it is known that the system is feasible and can be used on various types of browsers.

Abstract

Dinda salon is a business form engaged in the beauty sector, which deals with special care services for women in Malang. The salon owner explained that the management of customer care data, which is still done manually, is recorded in books, making it difficult for employees to manage customer data and produce salon reports. Especially for treatment orders via reservation, customers have to come to the salon first, which certainly makes it difficult for customers. This research will discuss about how data is carried out optimally, being able to process customer data, maintenance data, promo data and reservation data by creating a website-based application. The customer makes a reservation to fill in customer data and it will automatically be stored in the database. Admin can also share promo info via SMS Gateway. This research uses the prototyping method. In the process of collecting data using interviews with the salon owner. Then the design stage is carried out on a system based on object oriented design and UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling for the process of implementing a system using PHP as a programming language and the CodeIgniter Framework. The test used is the white-box testing method using pathway testing as a unit test. The black-box testing method is used as a validation test, with valid results obtained, for user acceptance testing, valid results are obtained from 43 test cases. Non-functionality testing, namely compatibility, the system can run properly through different browsers on Goegle and Mozilla Firefox.

Abstract

Countries that experience a decrease in the value of their currency are often said to be inflation, where when inflation occurs the prices of goods and services will increase, if this situation is not anticipated by policy makers and the public it will have a negative impact on daily life, with these problems the prediction system will be very help to measure the rate of inflation, an indicator called the Consumer Price Index is needed, this will calculate the mean value of the price of goods used by the public, within a certain time, to overcome this problem, a system that can predict the rate of inflation quickly and accurately is needed. The ELM method is included in the Artificial Neural Network, ELM is divided into a training and testing process, then an evaluation of the error rate is carried out using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error method, after being tested 10 times using the parameter number of features as many as 4, 6 neurons, comparison With 60% training data, 40% testing, the lowest error rate is 1.54%, which means that the ELM method has high speed and accuracy.

Abstract

The Department of Water Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Brawijaya University has three courses, namely Bachelor Program, Master Program, and Doctoral program. They used websites as a medium to deliver information for their academicians. In this research, the author will be focused on the problem of website sections for Water Engineering Undergraduate students found based on interviews and requirement. The obtained problem such as the users have difficulty to finding information because the presentation and the content's location on the website is not well organized and the website is still not user friendly. There is also a need to add the content on the website. Based on the problems, an initial test conducted with the tree testing method in order to assess the current structure of the website's information. The next step is a card sorting process to rearrange the information structure and represent them as a sitemap. Then another tree testing process conducted to reassuring that the new structure information reached users expectation. In this research we are applying the Goal-Directed Design method and the principle of Information Architecture and University Websites: Top 10 Guidelines to provide a recommendation such as a new redesign structure information (sitemap) and design to the website. In the final evaluation of user interface solution design we use the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire. The results of the final evaluation show that the design solution that has been made has received good responses from stakeholders and users.
