Abstract

The warehouse management of Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd is everything that related to warehouse goods management of the Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd. Warehouse goods management that happen in Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd including procurement of goods, sales of goods, rental goods, and service goods. Problem is there less effective in the process of goods management of Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd because process of the goods management the goods management still carried out manually and conventionally along with Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd has three seperate warehouse buildings which make it difficult to coordinate one building with another. Because of the length of procedure starting from makes goods submission, check the completeness of goods data, approval from the financial administration, checking goods, until provide a goods report to the warehouse manager. Ineffective management of goods will waste time in the management of goods Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd. A system developed in this study is a goods management system to solve the problem of goods management at Fajria Fajar Asia Ltd. Waterfall is a system development used in this research. The stages carried out by the researcher in the study were problem identification, namely identifying problems in PT. Fajria Fajar Asia, literature study, needs engineering, design, implementation, testing, conclusions and suggestions. This system has been testing by performing unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing. Validation testing has 68 test case that produce valid status, unit testing has eight test case that produce valid status, integration testing has one test case that produce valid status.

Abstract

Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) is a network which the development is devoted for node in form of mobile vehicle. As the frequent changes of node compotition, it is required a routing protocol that functions to determine the proper information dispatch line between nodes. The obstacles that are often found in cities is the vehicle density, the signal transmition barrier such as concrete, buildings, as well as the interfention and varied movements of the node, therefore it is needed a proper routing protocol to maintain the data transfer efficiently. By analyzing the performance comparation of FSR and GPSR protocol, it was obtained a trial parameter in form of End-to-End Delay, Packet Delivery Ratio and Throughput so that it would be found which one is the most efficient protocol to be implemented in urban area. By the vehicle density scenario, it was found that the denser of the vehicle, the lower of the performance and trial score and it was increasing as the density of vehicle was decreased. FSR protocol has the Packet Delivery Ratio average rate for about 22.398%, End to End Delay for about 0.45s and Throughput for about 0.337kbps. Meanwhile, GPSR protocol has Packet Delivery Ratio average rate for about 25.493%, end to end delay for about 0.64s and throughput for about 0.480kbps. Based on parameter score tested, it was concluded that GPSR is better to be used in VANET in urban environment.

Abstract

Navila Resto is a business dealing in food sector. This business that is founded in late 2018 performs monthly service and management evaluation. The evaluation is obtained through reports recapitulated by the restaurant's employees at the end of the month. The reports managed in the ledger need to be copied to Microsoft Word and Excel and sent through Whatsapp to be reported to the executives. It is highly inefficient and ineffective. Reports data processed by Navila keep increasing, causing difficulties in the data analysis and the reports are prone to be buried by new messages. From the aforementioned problems, a better development of administration information system for data management is required. This research aims to develop web-based and android-based administration information system through the use of CodeIgniter framework and Reactnative framework. The needs analysis shows that the system requirements include 17 functional needs and 1 non-functional need in total. The result of system functionality test through validation testing of the overall system function for the users is 100% valid. The system non-functionality test is done through System Usability Scale (SUS) method, which was obtained from the questionnaires filled by the employees of Navila Resto as the respondents. The test result is 72.1, with a category of acceptable and adjective ratings of OK.

Abstract

Polres kota Malang website has functions as a media to provide an information about news and society service for local society in Malang city. Polres kota Malang website is managed by humas department which has three division. This study aims to improve the user interface design and increase usability value of Polres kota Malang website. Human Centered Design (HCD) method used to making design improvements and it has several stages, determining the context or situation of the user, determining user requirements, making improvement designs and evaluating designs that have been made. In evaluating usability, the method used is Website Usability Evaluation Tool (WEBUSE). The results of prototype design solutions is Increasing usability levels that were previously good to excellent. The value of Usability in the Content category, Organization & Readability and Performance & Effectiveness has an increase 0,16. Navigation & Link and User Interface Design category has an increase 0,19.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Akademik Mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya (SIAM UB) is one of the information system services that is useful for managing student academic data. During the system development life cycle, it is necessary to evaluate the system. However, until now, there has been no research that evaluates or improves the design of the SIAM UB website when accessed via a desktop computer. In this study, an evaluation was carried out using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to determine the level of user experience and usability testing to understand the problem more deeply. The initial evaluation resulted in the conclusion that SIAM UB can meet the needs of users in obtaining academic information. However, there are still some problems. The evaluation results are used as the basis for improving the user interface design of SIAM UB. User Centered Design (UCD) is used as an approach in making design improvements and evaluations. UCD has four stages, namely understanding and determining the context of use, determining user requirements, creating design solutions, and evaluating designs. This UCD cycle runs for three iterations to produce a design solution in the form of a high-fidelity prototype. Then the high-fidelity prototype was evaluated using usability testing and UEQ. In general, the evaluation results of usability and UEQ testing on high-fidelity prototypes show a positive value and are better than the results of the current evaluation of SIAM UB.

Abstract

Item analysis is an activity carried out by the teacher which aims to determine the level of student understanding and improve the quality of the questions that have been made. Most of the teachers carried out the item analysis activities at Public Junior High School 1 Donomulyo using the excel program and others manually,in both ways the time needed to carry out the item analysis was quite long. That is because the teacher has to enter student answer data into the excel program one by one to process analysis. As an effort to overcome these problems, an item analysis system was developed to make easier for teacher to carry out item analysis. The main function of this system is to be able to generate the item analysis based on the exam that students has taken. The system is built on a web platform using waterfall development method and object-oriented approach. The system is implemented with Codeigniter framework for the back-end side which supports Model View Controller (MVC) concepts and the Bootstrap framework for the front-end side. The system test results was 100% valid in unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing, which means that the system is in accordance with defined needed. In addition, the system also tested using compatibility testing which showed that system was compatible with several browsers tested.

Abstract

Music is one of the biggest human entertainment. With digital music and the internet, there is so much music that can be listened to by the million users. Music recommendation is the recommendation system that exists not only because there is so much music out there, but because the perception about music is still cannot be fully understood. At the moment, there is a need for a recommendation system that suits the requested context. The Music Recommendation System based on Weather help user to find their music that fits with the context they are in. The development of this system is to make an android application and using an expert system method with forward chaining. this system will process input that the user input and the output will be a recommendation of music that fits the expert rule. Functional testing of this system resulting in a valid outcome which means this system grade is 100%. While usability testing of this system outcome is 76.5 in value of system usability scale which means it's acceptable. Then the accuracy testing that will compare the output system and the expert, the system comes out with 100% accuracy.

Abstract

Naoyuki Academic Center Japanese tutoring center has 3 divisions in managing its business. In the marketing division, business marketing information is routinely made by marketing once a month about the target market, potential market and market levers are still done manually that is using paper. In the human resources division, the curriculum vitae information of employees and teachers still uses paper so that if it is damaged or lost, the recruitment staff will have difficulty finding this information. In addition, in the financial division, the process of recording financial cash flow data, student payment data, and employee and teacher payrolls made by accountants is still done manually making it difficult to recap financial data because the files are kept separately and the director has difficulty in evaluating financial institution. The Naoyuki Academic Center's tutoring institution management information system was built to answer the problems that exist in the institution. The process of recording information for marketing divisions, human resources divisions, and financial divisions can be accessed at any time because web-based and centrally stored data can assist each division in finding the information needed. The tutoring management information system was built with Waterfall Model, and the MVC concept (model, view, controller) in the Laravel framework. Tests carried out namely using white-box testing with unit testing, validation testing and black-box testing with compatibility testing. The results of the tests obtained from unit tests and validation tests are 100% valid, and compatibility test results show the system can be used well in different browser scopes.

Abstract

Since the Jakarta mass rapid transit (MRT) was operated, there have been various opinions from the public regarding facilities and services of the Jakarta MRT which have been conveyed through social media such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. In writing opinions on social media, errors are often found such as slang words, abbreviated words, and typographical errors which can complicate the classification process. Based on that thing, this research will use word normalization with a dictionary of slang words and abbreviations and also use word normalization with Peter Norvig. Opinions that have been conveyed by the public must be analyzed properly in order to produce useful information for PT MRT Jakarta. In conducting sentiment analysis, a classification method is needed and the classification method to be used is the Naive Bayes method. Testing in this research used 5-fold and for each fold 200 training data and 50 test data were used. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the classification is better to use word normalization because the existence of word normalization can equate two words that have the same meaning so that it can increase the weight of the words. The 5-fold average evaluation results of the Naive Bayes classification with word normalization using a dictionary of slang words and abbreviations and also word normalization using Peter Norvig yielded 0.903 for precision, 0.944 for recall, 0.922 for f-measure, and 0.903 for accuracy.

Abstract

In recent years, wireless technology as a communication system has not been developed not only limited to the use of electronic devices, but also directed to the mobility of humans and vehicles that they use daily. This technological development used as a solution to solve problems in the public transportation system and accidents, because private vehicles, public transportation, and driving from one point to another have become an inseparable part of human daily life. The technology is called VANET (Vehicular Ad hoc Network). VANET as a method to overcome this problem must be supported by a routing protocol that has good performance for sending data. Some examples of these routing protocols include DSDV, DSR, AOMDV, and ZRP. The protocol must also be shipped with a supported network interface. The network interfaces that usually used on VANET are IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.11p standards. This study measure it using test parameters which are end-to-end delay, throughput, and packet delivery ratio. The results of the study show that the IEEE 802.11p standard has better performance rather than IEEE 802.11, produces better end-to-end delay values ​​with 40.99ms, 47.58ms, 49.52ms, and 5037.61 ms consecutively on the DSR, DSDV, AOMDV, and ZRP protocols. In addition, the resulting throughput value for the IEEE 802.11p standard is also greater than that of the IEEE 802.11 standard, with values ​​of 2029.05Kbps, 1556.67Kbps, 1541.88Kbps, and 0.71Kbps consecutively in the DSR, AOMDV, DSDV, and ZRP. On the performance of packet delivery ratio, the results obtained better values ​​for the DSDV and AOMDV protocols with 99.91% each on the IEEE 802.11 standard, and DSR and ZRP with values ​​of 99.97% and 68.75% on the IEEE standard 802.11p.
