Abstract

Stationeries are one of the basic needs in a workspace such as the office and most predominantly in education such as schools. During the beginning of the school calendar, the stationery stores are usually overcrowded by buyers. However, in these times of pandemics people tend to save money by restricting themselves from buying things. As a result, sales tend to drop as fewer people are willing to spend money on goods. One of the ways to increase sales is to observe the buyer's transactions. All of the transaction data are usually kept as an archieve in the stores. On the other hand, the transaction data of the buyers have informations which can be extracted using data mining techniques, such as information about the association rule in the consumer purchases. By understanding the habitude of the consumers, stores are able to consider on the arrangement of their goods. The FP-Growth algorithm which is being used in the shopping cart system will be able to help in developing the marketing strategy as it would observe the associations between items. The FP-Growth algorithm has a sequence of data collection, frequency counter, transaction data rearrangement, tree formation, and frequent item search. From testing the minimum support of 5%, 8 association rules are produced on which 3 of them has a confidence rate above 5%. Subsequently, there are 34 association rules with lift values above 1. The higher of the minimum support and minimum confidence values, the fewer combinations of association rules will be generated.

Abstract

Linda Cable is a cable TV business located in Trenggalek which has 1400 active subscribers. Each month, Linda Cable charges a service bill that their customers must pay to the collection clerk. However, there are several problems that occur while recording the payments. Payments received by the collection clerks must be re-recorded by the administrator in the monthly report. Payment receipt are poorly managed and inefficient because of duplicated records. Linda Cable's payment business processes will be changed by allowing customers to choose between paying the bills themselves to the Linda Cable's office or being collected by collection clerk but with additional charges. This study aims to develop an information system that can help Linda Cable in recording payments, managing bills, generating billing slips and generating monthly reports. Waterfall method is used in this research to develop a web-based app. User acceptance test and validation test was performed due to ensure the developed systems has fulfilled the user requirements.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 8 Malang is an institution engaged in the field of education in the city of Malang. SMK Negeri 8 Malang is a state-owned and accredited A and has implemented the Revised 2013 curriculum in teaching and learning activities. Submission of academic information such as information on lesson schedules, registration, and the results of the recap of student scores is done manually. This makes students and their guardians unable to measure the development of students' abilities optimally because the results of the recap of students' scores can be seen at the end of the semester. Based on the existing problems, SMK Negeri 8 Malang requires an academic information system interface design. The interface design aims to provide an overview of the application of student academic information systems and improve the efficiency of management and presentation of information for students at SMK Negeri 8 Malang. The interface design that will be used as a solution in this study uses the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method. The result of this research is a high fidelity prototype design which was evaluated by 8 respondents using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The test results using the SUS questionnaire obtained an average SUS score of 75.31 which can be categorized as feasible or acceptable by users.

Abstract

Chili plants are plants with great economic potential in Indonesia. Nevertheless, every year chili production has decreased, one of which is due to disease. Observation of conditions in chili plants can be seen in the changes that occur in chili leaves. Disease detection in chili leaves is needed to minimize the risk of crop failure in chili plants and as a strategic control effort. The number of types of diseases in chili plants is quite a lot and knowledge about the symptoms of the disease is not enough to make it quite difficult for farmers to determine the type of disease that attacks. Therefore, a system that is able to detect diseases in chili leaves is needed. Disease Detection System on Chili Leaves Based on HSV and GLCM Features Using the C4.5 Algorithm Based on Raspberry Pi is used to detect types of diseases on chili leaves. This research uses Hue, Saturation and Value (HSV) color features and Gray Level Co-occurence Matrices (GLCM) texture features. The HSV color feature was used to analyze diseased leaf discoloration. Texture features are used to analyze changes in the texture of chili leaves with the help of five features from GLCM, namely correlation, dissimilarity, homogeneity, contrast, and energy with four variations of angles, namely angles 0, 45, 90 and 135. The classification method used is using a decision tree from C4.5 algorithm with classification results in the form of sercospore spot disease, curly mosaic and normal conditions. Detection of disease in chili leaves using this method using 21 test data to get an accuracy of 86%. The average execution time required by the system to detect is 1.045 seconds.

Abstract

Eggs are one of the nutritious foods that contain animal protein that is good for the body. Eggs themselves are popular in Indonesia, which can be seen from the demand for eggs that increases every year. From BPS information from 2015 around 13 tons, 2016 rise to 303 tons, and in 2017 it increased by around 386 tons it can be concluded that from 2015 to 2017 it increased by 2824%. In Indonesia, there are 2 types of chicken eggs, namely native chicken eggs and domestic chicken eggs. The difference between these two eggs is in their weight and color. Native chicken eggs have a lighter weight than domestic chicken eggs and the color of native chicken eggs is brighter than domestic chicken eggs. From the difference in parameters, some ordinary people have difficulty distinguishing them. Based on these problems, it is necessary to create a system capable of sorting chicken eggs automatically. The system is made using a loadcell sensor to measure the weight of the egg, and use the TSC3200 sensor to get the value of eggs based on red, green, and blue. The data taken from the two sensors is then processed using the K-Nearest Neighbor method with the output in the form of a servo that moves towards the egg, all systems are processed using Arduino mega. Testing is focused on the functionality, accuracy, and performance of the system. From the functional testing that has been done the system gets 100% correct results. So it can be said that this system is successful. For the K test, the system was tested using a K value of 3,5,7 with 20 training data and 20 test data, which obtained accuracy of 100%, 99%, and 98.57% respectively. And the system performance test obtained a processing time speed of 568.8 ms when using K3.

Abstract

The Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang has a web application called the Integrated Administrative Information System (SIAT). The web application has several problems such as improper table arrangement, unequal size of content, and sloppy writing. This study aims to evaluate the appearance of the current web application and design prototype improvements which will then be evaluated in order to reduce the problems contained in the SIAT web application and produce improvement solutions so as to make SIAT even better. To determine the usability value, an evaluation is carried out using the Web Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) which consists of four categories, namely Content, Organization and Readability, Navigation and Links, User Interface Design and Performance and Effectiveness. Improvement prototype design solution is made using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method which has several stages, namely understanding and determining the user context, specification of user needs, designing solutions and evaluating solution designs. The results of this study indicate that the design of the improved prototype made is better than the current web application design so that the usability value in each WEBUSE category has increased. Previously, there were several points in the WEBUSE category that resulted in poor and moderate usability levels, but after improvements were made, all points per WEBUSE category were at the good usability level .The design of this prototype produces a design solution that has a higher level of user satisfaction.

Abstract

PT. Green Air Pacific Surabaya has received an average of 400 - 700 messages per day. So that the incoming email will overlap each other, this can complicate the process of managing email messages that are considered important. This study classifies emails based on their importance using the Naive Bayes method. The word weighting method used is basically TF (Term Frequency) and then normalized to WIDF (Weighted Inverse Document Frequency) weighting. To get a better word index, word weighting is modified by adding word weight if the word is included in the list of predetermined terms. In addition, testing in this study was carried out on the email title, email content and email title with content. From the test results, it was found that the system classifies email data quite well. It can be proven on the highest performance results with an accuracy value of 98,67%, a precision of 100% and an f-measure of 98,99% on the parameters of using email headers, TF weighting, modified TF weighting, and modified WIDF weighting with 240 training data. In addition, the results of testing and data validation using k-fold cross validation also provide an average performance result that is not much different, namely an accuracy value of 95,56%, precision of 93,86% and f-measure of 96,81%..

Abstract

Mango is a fruit from a tropical climate besides having an interesting taste characteristic, mangoes have various nutritional content and a distinctive aroma. Mango (Mangifera indica L.) has more than 270 aroma of volatile compounds in different mango varieties (Shibamoto, T. et al, 1990). One of the problems in mango production is the classification process for whether mangoes are ripe. In the case of ripe mangoes, sometimes there are mangoes that have a fairly ripe color but still taste sour, and vice versa. Because of that we need a system that can determine the level of maturity of mangoes based on aroma. In this study, a system was designed to detect ripeness in mangoes based on aroma using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. In the process of classifying the sample data, Arduino nano is used as data processing. The training data is taken from mangoes with different ripeness levels, after that the tested mangoes will be detected their gas content with TGS2602, MQ135 and MQ5 sensors, after data has been obtained it will be processed by the K-Nearest Neigbour method. The classification results of the mango ripeness level will be displayed on the LCD screen along with the sensor readings. In system testing, the results classification accuracy with 15 test data, the highest accuracy reached 86.6% at K = 3 compared to the values of K = 5.7 and 9.
