Abstract

The reflection of light from objects to the eyes is used by humans to visualize an object. The role of the eye organ is very important for humans because human daily mobility requires visualization of objects that are visible to the eye. However, not everyone has optimal vision in their eyes. A person who loses his ability to see is called a blind person. The World Health Organization estimates that more than 7 million people are blind every year. Blind people usually use a walking stick. However, the use of a stick is less effective because the use of a stick can only detect objects with a relatively low distance according to the length of the stick and the use of a stick cannot classify objects that are in the way. Therefore, the researcher wants to design a system that is used as another alternative for the visually impaired for object detection aids using computer vision technology. The algorithm used is Faster R-CNN using NVIDIA Jetson Nano device and detected objects in the form of walls, doors, tables and chairs. When the system detects the presence of the object, the system will issue a notification in the form of a sound obtained from the buzzer. Based on the tests carried out, the accuracy of the Faster R-CNN algorithm training results is 95% at the number of steps 140,000. Then test the system detection time when applied to the NVIDIA Jetson Nano for 0.77 seconds for testing on images and the resulting Frame Per Second is 1.30 for real-time testing. Then the object detection accuracy is 81.25% at a distance of 2 meters and testing the accuracy of system integration with the hardware used as the system output, namely the buzzer of 100%.

Abstract

During lectures, students did not escape the problem, the selection of streams, selection of courses, and so on who needed a supervisor to find a meeting point. Academic guidance activitiy is activity in which academic advisory lecturer and students communicate to solve a problem. But not a small amount of academic advisory lecturer activities carried out every day. Lecturer activities to monitor the development of student lectures also only monitor Course Grades on the lecturer's academic information system. The system has not been able to evaluate student grades. Therefore, the design of the User Experience Module Lecturer in the application of academic guidance will help overcome these problems and make academic guidance activities running well at the Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya. The Design Thinking method is used by going through 5 processes, which is empathy to get the views and needs of users, define for defining the needs and problems that exist, ideate to provide a solution design, prototyping high-fidelity design, and testing to measure how useful the application design before being developed to the program code. The results of the testing obtained with usability testing resulted in effectiveness of 88%, efficiency of 86.04.2%, and satisfaction of 85.5. The UEQ method is also done by producing an value of attractiveness 2.30, value of perspicuity 1.85, value of efficiency 2.00, value of 2.45, value of stimulation 2.35, and values of novelty 2.10.

Abstract

The Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendataan Sandang Dan Penjualan Online is a system that created to aid the store owner and manager in managing goods so there wont be any mistakes managing and listing products. And costumer could access the store catalog without have to visit the store, and the store owner could see the trend based on the number products visited on the website. The system could also list the products that are running out of stock so the store manager could re-stock the items. And then theres a feature that shows income of the store. The software development process starts from analyzing the requirements and object oriented testing. There are 21 functional requirements based on the analyzing phase. The implementation phase was carried out using Laravel. Unit testing produces 100% valid data from 3 tested function, while the validation test produces 100% valid data from 21 tested function. Compatibility Tests were done using 3 different browsers : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Abstract

PT. Harrasima Inventory Logistics, has warehouses spread throughout Indonesia that function to store and distribute network modules to all operational areas of cooperating providers. To monitor, record, and manage the process of storing, distributing and repairing module, the warehouse still use manual recording. This method is less effective when stakeholders such as Customers, Supervisors, FSL, Project Managers and Callcenters want to know the availability of modules in the warehouse or the warehouse data cannot be seen in real time. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to create a system or web-based application that can take inventory handling, inventory recording, inventory processing and module data reporting in the warehouse. This writing aims to design and build a web-based distribution and storage management application for PT. Harrasima Inventory Logistics using the waterfall method. From the requirement analysis of the distribution and storage management application of PT. Harrasima Inventory Logistic produces 145 functional requirements, 1 non-functional requirement and 14 actors. From the results of the requirement analysis 57 functional requirements were designed from 145 functional requirement, a design was made which resulted in 4 controller classes, 17 model classes on the system architecture and 42 entities on the system data structure. The results of unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing of the system show 100% valid while the results of the usability test of the system get an average value of 75.57692 with the predicate Excellent.

Abstract

Karangploso District has a lot of culinary potentials, catfish food is one of them which often available in many restaurants within the district. Due to the long distribution chain, the price of catfish can be relatively high. The first chain comes from catfish farmers, next is the first supplier, move along to the second supplier, the fourth is the market traders, and the fifth goes to the restaurant. Based on this problem, a system is developed to ease the catfish distribution chain. The system development will be used by distributors, restaurants, and catfish farmers. There are also drivers as well to pick up the catfish harvests and eventually deliver it. Within this system, catfish farmers can make a fine schedule towards the harvest times, restaurants can manage the market demands, and distributors can monitor the daily distribution deals. This study uses the waterfall method. This system is developed into two platforms, the first is a website used by distributors and the second is the android which will be used by catfish farmers, restaurants and drivers. The test result with the whitebox method produced a 100% valid score. For the validation testing, the writer used the blackbox method and the result is 100% valid. Meanwhile, the writer used two types of browsers for websites and two types of android versions for compatibility testing. The result is also 100% valid.

Abstract

Traffic accidents happened frequently due to the lack of public attention to traffic sign regulations. Along with the many cases of accidents and the high number of deaths caused by public negligence in understanding the meaning of traffic signs correctly, an early warning is needed to understand the traffic signs listed on the road by making an early warning system for speed limiting signs. In this study, a system for detecting speed limiting signs was developed using feature extraction Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification to classify the types of speed limiting signs. To carry out the detection process for speed limiting signs, this system uses a Pi camera to take the video of the speed limit signs to be detected. When the speed limiting signs is detected, the speaker will release a warning sound to make it easier for drivers to drive and comply with traffic regulations. The system testing process is carried out by looking at the results of the implementation system that can detect the signs and the level of system accuracy when it detects speed limiting signs. The average accuracy of the system from the detection results consisting of signs limiting the maximum speed of 20km, 25km, 30km, 40km, 50km and the minimum of 20km is 86.08%. In addition, system testing is carried out by driving following the speed of the vehicle listed on the speed limit sign to determine whether the system can detect it properly by following the speed direction on the speed limiting sign.

Abstract

Cross site scripting (XSS) attacks is one of the most discovered vulnerabilities in the web application. Unfortunately, not all software engineer and security engineering team fluent aganist all of the web vulnerabilities (Khan et al., 2017). OWASP Code review is a written document explaining about principles, rules, and standards about web application source code analysis. Furthermore, vulnerability assessment process can also aid in more efficient web application vulnerability discoveries. This research will also build a system that can perform vulnerability assessment according to OWASP Code Review. In the system design phase, there are seven regular expression patterns that can help to identify security violation from the chunk of source code and two main regular expressions patterns to find vulnerabilities. Moreover, there are five algorithm design in order to understands how the system will be implemented. The system is implemented with Django Framework and have been tested based on validity, cpu usage, and response time. According to the test result, the system built is better than discovering cross site scripting

Abstract

The research about system that is used for managing student score was based on the school that is the research object condition which does not have a system that can help the teacher to easily manage their student score. therefore, Microsoft Office Excel and Google Form was used to manage the student's result score on their study. The research object consist of 10 major which have three grades, therefore making the management of the score inefficient both in time and energy and making in less effective. Another problem of using those method is that there is a high possibility of losing data. based on that problem, the researcher is designing a interface for information system that will be used for managing the student's score using a Human Centered Design (HCD) method. the method is used for designing a interface that will focus on the user needs that will make ease on the system usability. the research will resulting a high fideality prototype used by 1 user (vice principal on curriculum field) and 3 user groups (homeroom teacher, subject teacher, and extracurriculer builder). The last testing method useed will be using a usability testing method with System Usability Scale (SUS) for the assessment. System Usability Scale questionnaire will be used for calculate usability level based on the user point of view. the end result of System Usability Scale will obtain summary of all user total score which is 72. the score result will then show the interface design is accepted by the user candidate.

Abstract

Web-based Electronic Court (e-Court) is an information system provided to assist court employees in the process of registration of cases and trials in court. However, there are some problems in the application of e-Court such as frequent disruptions on the server as well as difficulty for elderly employees in using the e-Court system. In addition, during the implementation of e-Court has never been evaluated by looking at the influence factors of users, technology and organization. Thus, it is necessary to evaluate in order to achieve maximum service. This study aims to describe the success in the application of e-Court using the Human, Organization, and Technology (HOT-Fit) Model framework. Researchers apply quantitative approaches that make questionnaire results as the main research data as well as qualitative approaches derived from data obtained through interviews as complementary data in this study that is useful to strengthen the results of quantitative methods. Interviews are used to strengthen the results of quantitative questionnaires. The data collected quantitatively is processed by applying descriptive statistics. The results of this study show that the application of variables in HOT-fit to e-Court is good. However, there are still some users who find it difficult and the e-Court system is still not good.

Abstract

IAIN Jember is one of the universities that own a website, the website is used as a means of disseminating information related to campus profiles, lecture activities, and campus announcements. When using the website, we found several usability problems, one of which was a menu that didn't function or didn't display any action. Based on the conditions that occured, the IAIN Jember website requires evaluating and there are improvements related to the interface involving the three aspects of usability according to (ISO 9241-11 (1998)). Improvements will be made using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method and Usability Testing which consists of effectiveness, efficiency and a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire for satisfaction. Respondents consisted of two groups, namely parties related to IAIN Jember and the general public. As for the effectiveness aspect, an increase in value was obtained by 41.67% for parties related to IAIN Jember and 30% for the general public. In the aspect of efficiency, parties related to IAIN Jember received an increase of 68% while the general public got 58%. Furthermore, the satisfaction aspect using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire was given to 20 respondents and obtained an increase of 39.85. Therefore, it is evident if the design solution has a better usability value.
