Abstract

Si-Prestasi is an information system that serves to help teachers and students of SMP Negeri 1 Pace in conducting distance learning processes by involving technology. However, there are complaints felt by teachers and students of SMP Negeri 1 Pace in the use of Si-Prestasi such as the inaccurate information generated by the system in displaying scores, frequent disruptions on the server and difficulty for teachers and students in using Si-Prestasi due to the absence of socialization and manuals for the use of Si-Prestasi. During the implementation of Si-Prestasi has never been conducted user satisfaction analysis of Si-Prestasi. The purpose of the study was to describe the factors in End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) against Si-Prestasi at SMPN 1 Pace, which consists of variables of content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Data collection using quantitative in the form of dissemination of questionnaires to students and teachers smpn 1 Pace as many as 90 respondents, supported by qualitative data in the form of interviews. The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and source triangulation. The results of this study show that most si-prestasi users agree that the content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness contained in Si-Prestasi are good. However, there are still some users who find it difficult and feel that Si-Prestasi's system is still not good.

Abstract

The Computer Assisted Test Information System site or commonly abbreviated as CAT-SI is one of the sites owned by the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. The CAT-SI website has a purpose, namely to meet the needs of online student learning evaluations, especially during the end of semester exams due to adjusting to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. The CAT-SI site development process tends to be short because the needs are quite urgent, so further development and improvement of the display, information structure, and several features such as live meetings, chat, notifications, and exam calendars are needed. The Design Thinking method can be a solution to produce a website design that suits the needs of users in this study, because no research has been conducted on the CAT-SI site before so it is necessary to increase the needs of users more deeply by taking an empathetic approach. In its application, the Design Thinking method has 5 process stages, namely empathize to explore user needs, determine to analyze and determine problems, ideas to make points and design solutions, prototypes to make products that can be tested, and test the level of validation to users. The initial and final evaluation stages of the study used the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The comparison result of the average value obtained during the evaluation is 43.5 to 77 points. which the points meet the categories of “Acceptable”, “Good”, on “B”.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus pandemic was first announced in Indonesia in March 2020, forcing people to carry out limited activities. One of the activities affected by the pandemic is teaching and learning. Large-Scale Social Restrictions force schools to conduct online learning activities. Of course, this makes children's learning productivity decreases. To deal with these problems, students can learn new things to prepare for their future. One of the things that can be learned is Android programming. In the digital era, Android is very closely related to human life, therefore Android programming can be a new learning activity to increase student productivity. But of course, not all students are familiar with Android programming, therefore a good user experience is needed so that students can learn optimally. In this study, Human Centered Design (HCD) is used as an approach to develop an interactive system that aims to make the system useful and usable by users properly. This research will get the final result in the form of a high-fidelity prototype. Furthermore, the prototype that has been built will be evaluated using the heuristic evaluation method. In the implementation of this evaluation, there are three experts who act as evaluators. After the evaluation, twenty-three usability problems were found.

Abstract

In freshwater fish farming, it is important to pay attention to the quality of the air for fish to live. Tilapia still has high economic value due to high market demand. Excessive feeding of fish will affect the rest of the feed and can cause a decrease in the quality of fish pond water, so that it can directly affect fish productivity. In addition, the optimal air pH for tilapia habitat is between 6.5 - 8.5. For more optimal air turbidity is 50 NTU. One solution that can be used is to build a system that can be made to control the water quality of a tilapia. The system can be made based on a control system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). One of the application branches of AI is forecasting algorithms, one of which is the Artificial Neural Network algorithm to determine the estimated run time of water filter pumps. In this study, the tools used by the author are a pH sensor to determine the pond water, a turbidity sensor to determine the cleanliness of the pond and a Real Time Clock (RTC) to determine the time of fish water. The data will be used by Arduino UNO to perform computations on existing data using the artificial neural network method. Then use the relay as a regulator on or off the fish water filter pump. The relay will turn the fish filter on and off. Then the I2C-based 16x2 LCD will display the water conditions in text form. If the water conditions are not optimal, the buzzer will sound. For the installation of this tool will be placed on the photo of tilapia. The results of the analysis carried out by the artificial network method obtained an average accuracy of 87.4% and a computation time of 3.29 seconds.

Abstract

AMF-Haq Engineering and Consultant company is a small-medium enterprise that focuses on construction sector. The issue that happened in that company is in project supervising and controlling sector such as the limitation of the owner of the company in giving information straight away related to project plan to the project workers, less of efectivity in monitoring the project development in different locatio, and the process of reporting progress in every project is ineffecient. The aim of this research is to develop an application that makes the project supervising and planning process easier that applied by the company. The aplication that will be developed is expected to be able to improve the effectivity and efficiency of the process of planning, supervising and reporting project progress that has been done by the company. This application will be developed on platform mobile Android using framework react-native by using System Development Life Cycle ( SDLC) method, waterfall speciment. On this research, be achieved analisis result on the application need such as 48 functional needs and nonfunctional need on compability application aspect. From the testing that has been done by researcher, be achieved valid result for unit testing using white box testing method the entire test path. In the validation test using black box testing method, be achived valid value to entire test cases, then in compability test shows that the system can be used well on 2 kinds of mobile phones and 5 types of operation system in Android.

Abstract

The ideal body is everyone's dream. From teenagers to old people, both male and female, definitely want the ideal body. The ideal body can be obtained from sufficient exercise, a healthy diet, and adequate sleep. We can find out whether our bodies are ideal or not by measuring their body height and body weight, which are adjusted from the person's age. Monitoring weight is one of the needs to maintain a healthy body. We should always check our weight, so we can control the body's healthy patterns. Sometimes measuring weight takes time, for busy people it may not be important. In fact it is very necessary to always know the weight. It will be very helpful if there is a weight meter that can be used at any time and is not required to stand still on a regular weight scale. Therefore we need a tool that can make it easier for us to monitor our weight at any time. We can check our weight when sleeping, running, eating, and all daily activities. In this study, we will create a wearable device that adds the function of sandals to a weight monitoring tool. By using several Load Cell sensors on the sandal, these sensors function to get the value of the Load Cell sensor which will be processed with the Wemos D1 microcontroller. The results of the process will come out on android devices that are commonly used every day. We can use this tool like an ordinary scale, when standing upright we can get a weight value, and this tool can also be used when walking conditions. In this study, we will focus on examining the device while walking. With this tool, we can make it easier for users to monitor their weight during daily activities without using ordinary scales.

Abstract

Karunia Jaya Damean Furniture store is a business running in the sale of home supplies/furniture located in Singosari, Malang Regency. All furniture items sold at the Karunia Jaya Damean Furniture store are made of wood. The problem at Karunia Jaya Damean Furniture store is weak sales strategy. The sales strategy administered by this store is traditional, where the information about sales of goods is shared from one person to another. Other than the sales strategy, the process of ordering furniture at the store is still traditional, is order are handled through by telephone communication media or direct visits to the store. This can be a problem for the customers who want to order according to their wishes, but they are outside of another city or region, so it's impossible to visit the store directly. The web-based furniture store sales system is developed to overcome the problems found in the Karunia Jaya Damean Furniture store. The development of the system uses the waterfall model with an Object-Oriented approach. The developed system using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework. The system has been success examined by unit testing, integration testing and validation testing with the results of all tests are valid.

Abstract

The painting service business is a business that provides the creation of fine art in the form of paintings. Zona Karikatur, Dokter Desain, and Creative are a few examples of digital painting services providers in Indonesia. In their development, these companies find problems in several things such as production processing, ordering, suitability of customer demand, and financial data collection. Therefore, a web for painting service business management was created to help and overcome problems such as managing the order processing, production, and financial data collection to make it more efficient. Waterfall model and object-oriented approach was chosen to build this system. Requirement analysis of this research produces 5 actors, 52 functional requirements, and 1 nonfunctional requirement. This system has been tested using unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing. Unit testing and integration testing use the whitebox testing techniques, and those have valid results. The implementation of program code on this system uses the Go language. Validation testing uses the blackbox testing technique and it has a validity percentage of 100%. Compatibility testing was carried out using the Crossbrowsertesting tool, it shows that the system can run well on various browsers and devices. Despite this, it has a fatal problem with Internet Explorer 11. Through this development, it produces a system that can manage the painting service business.
