Abstract

One of many problems at Information System at Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya is that there is some undergraduate who have not graduated even though they have passed 8th semester. This can affect the accreditation assessment, because if students drop out due to reaching the semester limit then it will affect the accreditation assessment. For this very reason, initial steps are needed that can make students graduate on time. The solution offered in this study is to create a cluster, based on academic attributes. After that, Process Mining is performed in each cluster so that information and relationships that cannot obtained in the data. This research will use K-Means ++ algorithm for Data Mining and Fuzzy Miner algorithm for Process Mining. The results of the clustering process are four clusters obtained with their respective characteristics, and also for each of these clusters can be seen statistical information and models process of the thesis.

Abstract

Tourism is a source of regional income that can be said to be endless or timeless, because generally tourism objects are natural tourism. Tourism will of course continue to be developed and promoted by each region in their own way. However, when this method is successfully implemented in a region, similar promotion methods will emerge in other regions with the same objectives. As happened at the Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC). Now, promotional strategies and efforts to attract tourists to come to other areas that have the same concept as JFC are starting to emerge. So, the Jember Regency government needs to find other ways to promote. However, apart from promotional measures, there are other things that should also be prioritized, namely information. So, an application, can provide a solution to handle both.This study aims to develop an application that can provide information about tourism objects in Jember Regency. The information referred to is the name, image, rate, description and route to the tourism object. The application is developed using the Java programming language and uses services from the Google Maps API to display maps and routes. The application is developed using the prototyping method, where a system requirement analysis will be formulated after the prototype is approved. For testing, the application will be tested using the black box approach for functional testing and usability testing and responsiveness for non-functional testing. The application that was successfully developed in this study is an application that can provide information on tourism objects, travel agencies and routes to tourism objects used by users, as well as web-based applications used by administrators to store, update and delete data. The test results for the application show valid results for functional testing and a fairly good results for non-functional testing.

Abstract

The electronic queueing application of Regional General Hospital 45 Kuningan (RSUD 45 Kuningan) is an application designed for the public as a form of information disclosure and facilitates access to hospital services. This application is made based on the needs of RSUD 45 Kuningan and the extension of cooperation agreement with the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) for 2021. This research aims to create user experience design in order for the application to deliver good results for its users in terms of usability and user experience. The method used to perform the design is Human-Centered Design (HCD) which consists of several stages such as user context analysis, user requirements analysis, creating design solutions, and evaluating design solutions. Evaluating design solutions was carried out by conducting usability testing and filling User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to 10 respondents and obtained a score of 87.75% in the effectiveness aspect, 0.176 goals/second in the efficiency aspect, and 77.75 with grade B in the user satisfaction aspect. UEQ results on attractiveness, perspicuity, and dependability aspects achieved excellent category. Efficiency and stimulation aspect achieved good category. Lastly, the novelty aspect achieved above-average category. These results show that the design solutions are acceptable with good usability score and positive user experience with above average scores on each aspect.

Abstract

Students spend a lot of money in completing research for graduation to find references. This causes many students did piracy. The development of a digital book publication apps prototype is carried out in order to become an inexpensive solution for students in finding digital books or supporting references. The subscription system is made to be an inexpensive solution to the prototypes being made. The design is carried out by taking into account the aspects of the user experience based on the five-field method consisting of 5 layers, namely strategy plane, scope plane, structure plane, skeleton plane, and surface plane. The [initial interviews were conducted to obtain results that did not require the user to construct. A persona is determined that is used as a reference for creating functional, task flow, and hierarchical task analysis (HTA). HTA is used as a reference for making low-fidelity designs which later created a prototype. The evaluation process uses a task scenario for users and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) as an assessment of user experience that generate attractiveness value of 1,433 with above average level, a perspective value of 1,250 with below average level, an efficiency value of 1,250 with above average level, the value of dependability is 1,500 with good level, a stimulation value of 0.900 with below the average level, and a novelty value of 0.050 with bad level. Evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method was carried out as a usability measurement that generate value of 78.5 or B+ in letter-grade form.

Abstract

Pets especially dogs and cats need to get vaccines to prevent the occurrence of illness and mortality in pets caused by a virus or bacterial infections and to prevent transmission of disease to humans. However, sometimes the animal owner pays little attention and sometimes forgets the vaccination schedule for his beloved animal. The purpose of this study is to design a user interface for a mobile-based application to remind a pet vaccination schedule. The application is designed to meet user needs, is easy to use, and provides a good experience for users. The approach used for designing the application is Human-Centered Design (HCD). The design of the user interface is in the form of a high-fidelity prototype based on software, and then it is evaluated by usability testing techniques. There are 2 alternative designs produced to be tested to users of animal owners and veterinarians. The evaluation results of the two design alternatives get a score above the average SEQ score, thus showing that the user interface design is easy to use. But the design still needs some improvement in the user interface. Based on the conclusions of the evaluation results of the two users, design A received an average score of 6.23 while design B received an average score of 6.27. Then the design chosen and most sought after by users is design B.

Abstract

Mutual funds are investment instruments that collect investors' funds, to be invested in securities within the mutual fund itself, with general parameters such as Net Asset Value (NAV) and time-bound returns. Both of these parameters have varying values, so they can act as a risk measure that can affect the profit of mutual funds. The effect of this risk makes people hesitate to invest in mutual funds because the level is not known based on those two parameters so that identification is involved to help determine the level of risk for mutual funds, which in this study used the integration of K-Means and Naive Bayes. The K-Means algorithm as a clustering algorithm is used to group mutual funds which then the results of the group into data classes to be classified by the Naive Bayes algorithm. The study used 250 mutual funds data on September 1, 2020, from the types of stock, money market, and mixed mutual funds. This study tested the number of clusters and the percentage amount of training data and test data. The test results showed that the optimal number of clusters was 4 with a global Silhouette Coefficient of 0,46448 and average of all classes from the evaluation of the classification model based on the best data amount percentage involving 4 classes in the form of precision of 0,9813, recall of 0,9818, and F-measure of 0,9808.

Abstract

Omega is a tutoring institution located in Cilegon City, Banten Province, and was established to provide non-formal learning assistance and guidance to students from elementary, junior high, and high school levels to improve achievement or study optimally. In carrying out its business processes, teacher and student identity data collection, scheduling, and payment at Omega are still made manually. Teacher and student identity data collection is carried out through administrative staff writing them in the notebooks provided. Regarding the scheduling process, the administrative staff informs each individual or group of students via the Whatsapp chat messenger. As for payments, Omega only accepts cash payments and does not accept bank transfers. Payment recording is still done manually. Based on these problems, it is necessary to analyze the system requirement and document the Omega Tuition Management Information System design, which can provide an overview of what kind of system will be made before entering the implementation stage. The system is designed based on a website and integrated with Google Calendar API to manage scheduling functions and Midtrans Payment Gateway to manage payment functionalities. This research resulted in 18 use cases, 18 activity diagrams, 18 sequence diagrams, and 18 UI designs. Tests are carried out using the Traceability Matrix to test the design documents made and Prototype Testing to test the prototypes made. In testing the Traceability Matrix, the results show that all the requirements and design documents are according, and prototype testing obtains "Valid" results for the entire test scenario.

Abstract

sexually transmitted diseases is one of the dangerous diseases that spreads every year, especially in the city of Malang. One of these educational cities has a growing human population each year so that it can be a trigger for the spread of the sexually transmitted diseases, especially for people who have sex. Based on information from the Malang Health Service, most people are exposed to sexually transmitted diseases without being aware of the symptoms that arise in them. Compared with women, more men who have a sexually transmitted infection. Sexually transmitted diseases in men such as Syphilis, HIV, Gonorrhea, Herpes and Warts have symptoms that have similarities in each disease so it is difficult to distinguish. To find out and reduce errors in predicting a disease, the Fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor method is used in this study to help classify sexually transmitted diseases. The classification process consists of three processes are the fuzzy initialization process. The kNN algorithm process and the kNN fuzzy algorithm process. In the research test used the influence of K value testing, K-Fold Cross Validation test using 60 data divided into 10-fold and obtained the highest accuracy results of 91.67% with K = 5 then inter-class performance testing using confusion matrix to determine Precision and Recall values ​​on 30 test data.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media whose users are increasing every day. With the ease of spreading information through Twitter, some people use Twitter as a place to promote their wares by writing advertisements. These ads for some Twitter users tend to be annoying, because they are irrelevant to the information they want to read. These ads can be classified so that they can separate advertising tweets from non-advertising tweets. The ad tweet classification process is carried out using the Naive Bayes method. In the classification process, tweet data is collected to be used as training data and test data, then preprocessing is carried out on the tweet data which will then be weighted using the term frequency method. The features used in the classification with Naive Bayes are the bag-of-word feature, the textual feature is time and link, and the numeral feature is money and phone number. The classification results are obtained from the comparison of the posterior results obtained from each class. The performance level of the results obtained by the Naive Bayes method using the bag-of-word feature has a precision value 0,96, recall 1, f-measure 0,98, and accuracy 0,98.
