Abstract

Cahaya Kreatif is a printing company that specializes in invitations and non-invitation printing and has worked with a variety of Micro, Small, and Medium Businesses (MSMEs). In company processes, manual methods are also used in various printing ventures. This has several drawbacks, including data errors caused by human error and the need for more time estimation. Furthermore, tracking business processes in different projects is still done by manually entering project progress data into Microsoft Office Excel. Due to the urgency of this issue, a web-based framework to manage projects that use the Trello API is required to make it easier for users to track and monitor tasks is required. Due to the urgency of this problem, a web-based framework to manage projects that use the Trello API is needed to make it easier for users to track and monitor task progress. This system has three user roles: project managers who track and assign tasks, admins who enter project ordering data, and employees who update task progress. The study yielded 46 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement, which were modeled using 46 use cases, operation diagrams, sequence diagrams, interface design, and system design developed with the Laravel 7 framework and MySQL database using the Trello API. The results of the usability testing are 89.2 (acceptable) and the results of the usability testing are 89.2 (acceptable). Abstract

Indonesia is a country traversed by the equator, which means that rainfall in Indonesia is quite high. Rainfall in several areas, one of which is in the city of Malang, is one of the areas that has high rainfall. The uneven road conditions in Malang City make part of the road flooded with water when it rains and some roads that are not flooded are inundated, therefore the authors make a tool that can provide information on the latest conditions on roads prone to rain and floods with standing water by installing a detection tool in the form of a sensor that is connected to the internet so that it can be accessed by the general public. The way this tool works is by detecting rain and water levels on the highway, precisely on roads where floods often occur during heavy rain, then the detection data is sent to the internet so that it can be accessed by users or the general public. The results of this study are expected to be able to help users or the general public find alternative roads when there is rain or a flood of standing water on the highway.

Abstract

Providing the best service is a priority for the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya (FEB UB) to give a comfortable and safe impression. If there are services provided that are not in accordance with the services that should be provided, both lecturers, educational staff and FEB UB guests can submit complaints through Whatsapp social media which is managed by the operator and admin. After the complaint is received by the operator or admin, the complaint is filtered according to the complaint category and then forwarded to the Whatsapp group according to the complaint category. This process has a flow that is quite complicated and takes a long time. Besides that, the submitted complaints are not kept by FEB UB, where complaints can be used as evaluation materials in each semester to improve better service. From the existing problems, a system development was carried out to manage service requests and employee complaints. The development of this system uses the Prototyping method. The process in system development starts from the stage of literature study, needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of the needs analysis were carried out in 2 iterations at the prototyping stage, there were 7 actors, 35 functional needs, and 1 non-functional requirement. The system was developed using the Javascript programming language using the Express.js framework and Bootstrap. Testing uses unit testing and integration with 100% results for all tested test cases and testing using validation testing with 100% pass results. While testing compatibility, the functionality contained in the system can be run on all browsers but still has some issues with the appearance and performance of the system.

Abstract

There have been many bicycle communities that have sprung up in Indonesia. Every community has its own way of communicating. Smartphones and social media were chosen as communication tools that are widely used by community members as a forum for communicating, exchanging information and ideas. However, of the many social media that have been developed, there are problems that arise in their use, such as incomplete and inaccurate information obtained by community members. This is due to the mixing between knowledge information and communication information. In addition, there is no social media available on the Android platform which specifically only discusses the topic of bicycles. To overcome this, an Android-based bicycle community forum system was developed, with main features, such as community creation and post creation. Rapid Application Development was chosen as the method used in this research because it is able to accelerate system development and provide product results in accordance with stakeholder needs. System testing is carried out using white box testing and black box testing techniques. Each technique shows good results, in the form of input-out flow of three function program code verified correctly, and the entire system functionality is stated as one hundred percent valid, which means no failed functionality..

Abstract

Google Play Store has become the largest digital market place with more than 10 million products in it. Application developers make the product review column available on the Google Play Store one of the ways to find out user satisfaction. But not all reviews on the app have an alignment between ratings and comments, there are ambiguous reviews, that are reviews marked by ratings and sentiment of comments are not the same. Machine Learning (ML) has been very useful in the field of sentiment analysis. One method that is reliable and easy to use is Naive Bayes. C4.5 method is also very popular in solving the decesion tree problem which will be used for the sentiment classification process. While the Levenshtein Disance method is used to compare two strings for the word normalization process. The method flow start with text preprocessing dataset with Levenstein Distance, then the dataset will be divided into two for the Naive Bayes and C4.5 classification process. The sentiment text and text review will be processed by the Naive Bayes method while the rating and sentiment text will be processed by C4.5.The test results using the 10-Fold evaluation method are 85.3%. While the sentiment classification without using Levenshtein Distance is 85.6%, the difference is 0,3%, making the Levenshtein Distance method not significantly affect the classification results. Other test results with the application of the Edit Distance 1, 2, 3 and 4 limits were 86.9%, 85.9%, 87.1% and 86.1%, respectively. Testing Naive Bayes algorithm without C4.5 in classifying review texts has an 85.3% same result with previous test. The results of this test illustrate the effectiveness of this program in the classification of mobile application

Abstract

Student colleges as civitas academica have duty to research and develop, it could be homework, contest, until thesis. To get the data as research and development material, student colleges usually do surveys. The main problem in doing surveys is the low response rate in data collection. Based on Green Book data, the reason respondents participated in the survey is 36.6% because of the reward provided by the surveyor and 8.9% participants found an interesting survey. However, only a few surveyors that give reward to the respondents and the distribution of the survey is less widespread and centered becomes an obstacle for respondents to find interesting surveys. This research intends to design user experience for place the student colleges in spread the surveys as wide and centered so that it can facilitate in getting much and matching criteria respondents with give worth reward to them. The Design Thinking method used because focuses on user experience and is very effective at solving complex problems. In the testing stage, the researcher did the usability tests with the results of the effectiveness aspect of 91.25%, the efficiency aspect with an overall relative efficiency of 100% and with a time based efficiency of 0.034 goals/sec, and the satisfaction aspect of 74.5%. Beside that, the researcher did the user experience test to be measured by User Experience Questionnaire with the results of the Attractiveness, Stimulation, and Novelty aspects getting the Excellent category, while the Efficiency and Dependability aspects got the good category, and the Perspicuity aspect got the Above Average category.

Abstract

Vehicles that exceed road capacity will have a negative impact on their surroundings, one of which causes accidents. Examples of cases of accidents that often occur are vehicles traveling in lanes that are not supposed to be, such as vehicles other than the busway crossing the busway lane and when driving on the Pantura highway which has more than 2 lanes, sometimes drivers find it very difficult to pay attention to the lane on the left, if you want. overtaking the vehicle in front of him. Therefore a system is needed to notify drivers to be more careful when driving. In this system there is a notification if there are numbers and types of vehicles in front. This system uses the Faster Regional Convolutional Neural Network modeling made on Tensorflow by processing it on a mini computer or Raspberry Pi 4B. The accuracy result in this system is 0.9025 or 90.25% with an average computation time in the Raspberry Pi 4B of 7,638 seconds per image.

Abstract

UKM Krupuk Jaya is a small and medium business that focuses on the marketing of crackers. Everyday UKM Krupuk Jaya produce 26,000 pcs crackers which are marketed to places around Malang. However, in UKM Krupuk Jaya the management of business data still uses conventional methods so that errors often occur in the processing of the number of orders ordered by sales, resulting in differences in the number of products ordered. And there is no information about raw materials that result in cancellation of orders by the owner when a sudden order by the sales because there is no availability of raw materials. In the process of calculating business profits, errors often occur resulting in inaccurate reporting. With the problems that arise in UKM Krupuk Jaya, research is carried out by developing a web-based business management application that can help in the management of UKM Krupuk Jaya. This research was conducted with the stages of engineering needs, design, implementation and testing. At the engineering stage needs 43 functional requirements and 1 non-functional needs. at the implementation stage using a web programming language and using a MySQL database. In the testing phase, it is done by using 4 test methods, Unit testing, integration testing, validation testing yields 100% valid and usability testing produces value 79,45 so that the system belongs to the acceptable category.
