Abstract

Bima Plus is a Tri provider application that provides services to support the needs of Tri card users. Based on studies of user reviews on the Google Play Store and interviews with application users, there are usability problems in the Bima Plus application that are felt by users, such as bad user interface, annoying ad headers, slow application performance, and so on. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate usability to be used as a reference in designing the improved user interface of the Bima Plus application. Improvements are made with the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach which places specific users as the main focus in each development process, while the method used in evaluating usability is usability testing. Testing was carried out on five respondents who will work on task scenarios to measure the level of effectiveness and efficiency, as well as interviews to find problems in the application. After that, the respondents filled out the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to get the level of satisfaction. In the initial evaluation, 22 problems were found which will be improved into low-fidelity prototype and will be evaluated as the first iteration. Improvements are made in the form of high-fidelity which is the final design of the solution design. The results of the evaluation of the final design as second iteration show that the usability level increases by 10% for effectiveness aspects, 23,08% for efficiency aspect, and 31.5 for satisfaction aspects.

Abstract

Internet of things is an interesting topic, especially on data security, besides that the limited resources of IoT devices are a challenge for data encryption and authentication processes. Due to the rapid development of IoT, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) launched a project that aims to determine a lightweight cryptography standard, one of the candidates is forkskinny (ForkAE) which is a lightweight cryptography that uses a new scheme for authentication encryption (AE) based on skinny. In this work, the implementation of the forkskinny algorithm is carried out to secure the data between the IoT node and the IoT gateway, from the results of the tests that have been done, the results are obtained. Memory allocated by the IoT node for data encryption and decryption requires an average SRAM of 27568 bytes of the total SRAM 81920 bytes so that the average percentage of SRAM used is 33.6523% and for flash memory has an average of 268097.6 bytes with total flash memory of 1044464 bytes so it only requires a flash memory percentage of 25.6684%. The algorithm performance test on the IoT node obtained an average of 4128.53333 microseconds, for the encryption and decryption process an average of 5858.13333 microseconds was obtained. The algorithm performance on the IoT gateway for the encryption process has an average of 1149.8 microseconds and for data decryption the average value is 1676.7 microseconds.

Abstract

Malang City is one of the education city that has a number of students are quite a lot. Many students make the city often to be embraced by various events. In making the event of course they need funds to realize the event project. Some of the ways to earn event funds include selling, doing cooperation through sponsorship, and fundraising. These ways can be impeded so that the events made are not maximal due to the targeted funds are not reached. In addition to funding, the event registration process provided by the Committee is a direct ticketing at a place that is difficult for participants who reside far from the area. Therefore, a fundraising system was developed with the concept of crowdfunding and purchasing tickets to be more efficient in terms of time and effort. This system uses a waterfall model approach. The result is that the system generates twenty-three functional needs which are then tested with unit testing and validation testing which generates valid in all test cases. Non-functional needs are one and tested with SUS with a score of 75. The score has reached the limit of acceptance SUS indicating that the system has been accepted by the user.

Abstract

The era of technological development is growing rapidly so that it has a big role in the business world, one of which is the coffee shop business. Therefore, Om Kopi wants to participate in existing developments, namely providing new services in the form of self-service. So, to realize these services, it is necessary to design a user experience for web applications for users. The design uses a human centered design (HCD) approach, in which the approach focuses on humans. The human focus in this study is users and stakeholders. Therefore, there are several stages in the solution development process. The stage of analyzing the context of use and user needs where the results are based on interviews with Om Kopi's stakeholders, employees and customers. So that these stages get information on web application users, namely employees and customers with their respective characteristics and duties. The design stage of the solution design produces a wireframe, screenflow, and high fidelity prototype. The evaluation stage uses a user experience questionnaire (UEQ). The evaluation of the web application obtained a mean value with a mean of 1.917 for attractiveness, 1,934 for perspicuity, 1,824 for efficiency, 1,912 for dependability, 1,728 for stimulation, and 0,978 for novelty. To increase the mean scale, improvements were made and recommended the features most desired by the user. From the results of the improvement experienced a significant increase.

Abstract

Subunit certification Faculty of Computer Science University of Brawijaya is a facility that is used for improving their civitas skills. From an interview with the subunit head, Tri Afirianto stated that the subunit needs a training platform for DB2 that can be used to give information and helping the candidate for certification tests with learning matters. This study is focused on developing a training platform using Moodle. Moodle or Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment is one of the free learning management systems that can be used and developed by everyone dearly (open source). In the process, this study is using the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) as its learning design model.. This study of developing a DB2 programming training platform based on moodle with SAM will be tested its properness in every cycle on the model. The testing is to measure 2 categories of perceived usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEUO) in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study will show how much the result of the product that comes out from developing method their perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The testing is done on 30 candidates which will be taking the certification. The result is the product has high ranked in category ease to use and high ranked in useful and helpful.

Abstract

Perusahaan XYZ is part of the Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). Perusahaan XYZ in managing its Information Tecnology is obliged to follow BUMN Ministerial Regulation number PER-03/MBU/02/2018. In response to these BUMN regulations, Perusahaan XYZ formed the 2018-2022 RITI. The plan explains that Perusahaan XYZ will prepare IT Governance Guidelines which contain SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and also Directors' Regulations in 2018/2019. The establishment of the IT SOP is based on the Software Development and Management domain on ITIL (Information Tecnology Infrastructure Library) framework. In compiling the SOP, the first will be an interview with the Departemen Pengembangan dan Pemeliharaan Sistem (PPS) as the role responsible for the Software Development and Software Management process. Then a GAP analysis will be conducted to see the gap between current conditions and ideal conditions in the company. From the results of the gap a suggestion will emerge to equalize it. This proposal will later be included in the activities compiled with the flowchart format in the SOP Draft produced later. The end result is an SOP design for the Software Development process which produces 6 activities and 16 sub-activities. It also produced an SOP for the Software Management process which resulted in 5 activities and 12 sub-activities.

Abstract

The Indonesian state officially recognizes six religions, namely Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. In Protestantism, the Bible is used as its holy book. In carrying out their worship, Protestants must have a close relationship with God through reading and studying the Bible. A Bible book contains a lot of information, so a system is needed to access and manage that information quickly and accurately. The information retrieval system can be used to get results relevant to user needs through query input. Queries entered by the user sometimes do not return relevant results due to errors in the query, so a query expansion technique that is capable of expanding or modifying the query is required. The modeling used for query expansion is Word2Vec, while to obtain relevant document results, the document is ranked using the Best Match 25 (BM25) method. Tests conducted in this study compared the document output when using query expansion and without using query expansion. The test results of this study get the highest results when not using the query expansion with the Precision @ 10 and MAP values ​​of 0.86 and 0.93.

Abstract

Communication is the process of delivering information in social life. However, people with hearing impairments have difficulty exchanging information because of their limitations. The Indonesian Government's solution to this problem is the standardization of the Indonesian Sign Language System (SIBI). Previous research has been carried out related to SIBI alphabet sign recognition with flex sensor and MPU6050 using the Naive Bayes method. However, from 130 tests, the research only produced an accuracy about 43.85%. The problem is due to the limitations of the flex sensor orientation reading accuracy. From these, development research was carried out to improve the accuracy of SIBI sign recognition. From these, development research was carried out to improve the accuracy of SIBI sign recognition. In this study, there were 6 units of MPU6050 that functioned as finger and opisthenar orientation readers. Sign recognition using the Naive Bayes method based on the sensor orientation reading. The research produces data suitability between the controller and the Android application is 100% that the application can be used as a data media representation, Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of the sensor readings at 1,471% from 24 tests, classification accuracy rate at 92.31% from 78 tests, and the average processing time at 20 ms from 20 tests.
