Abstract

MejaKita is an online-based learning media specifically designed as a space for students in Indonesia to share knowledge and learn together. The usability on this application was evaluated to find out how far the system works, to see the effect of interface design from users, and to identify the obstacles in the system. The evaluation was directed to 10 categorized respondents as potential users of the application. The usability evaluation of MejaKita application was about to measure 3 aspects of usability as effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction, by using those methods such as completion rate, overall relative efficiency, and the system usability scale questionnaire. After first evaluation, turned out the problem was needs of improvement on the application design to figured out whether the planned draft meets the user needs. MejaKita uses Goal-Directed Design as method to create a design improvement that meets user needs and to get validation from the first plan by developer when the application was made. The results of final evaluation scored 91,4% and 78,9% as two aspects increased 35,7% and 35,2% in total. The outcome of system usability scale of satisfaction aspect scored 77,75 which increased 30,25 from last evaluation and get acceptable category scored B+.

Abstract

Information technology in modern times is currently growing rapidly so that it can facilitate all human activities such as shopping through websites. The existence of a special shopping website can make it easier for humans to find or buy products quickly and can help buying and selling business actors to get maximum profit. Looking at the opportunities resulting from the development of information technology, business actors should take advantage of the momentum of using online media or web-based internet. One example of a business actor engaged in the clothing sector is Teampolos. Teampolos is a clothing retail store whose sales process is carried out online, namely using Instagram and Whatsapp, as well as offline to serve transactions with customers directly at the store. In the sales process there are obstacles such as customers looking for products displayed via Instagram that are not always complete and actual, there is limited time in serving customers on Whatsapp, and sales recap is done manually. To overcome these obstacles, a solution is proposed in the form of a website-based information system that has a user interface as the user's first glance in using it and aims to make interactions simpler in achieving goals. To design interactions and user interfaces, a Human Centered Design (HCD) approach was used with usability testing and a Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire as an assessment of user convenience in testing, and chose 5 participants, namely 2 as administrators and 3 as customers. The initial design that has been completed is then tested with usability testing and SEQ questionnaires to participants who have been determined based on their respective personas. After the initial design is completed at the evaluation stage, it will enter the design improvement stage which produces two alternative versions. The first alternative on the customer side has a value of 6.36 while the administrator side has a value of 6.53, while the second alternative on the customer side has a value of 6.6 and the administrator side 6.6. So that in the second alternative design it can be said that the given task is a little easier for participants to do.

Abstract

Shares are a sign of ownership or membership of an entity or individual. The profit from the purchase of shares is derived from the acquisition of dividends and capital gains. The existence of stock trading in the secondary market, making the ups and downs of the share price so that there is a capital gain. A person who becomes a stock investor and takes advantage by selling shares he owns when the share price is higher than his previous purchase price is referred to as a trader. Due to fluctuations in the stock price, a trader needs analysis before making a stock purchase in order to avoid the risk of losses. In order to avoid losses of traders in the stock market, a stock price prediction system was created using the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method. After the prediction test with ELM obtained the most optimal parameters to make stock predictions, namely by using the number of data inputs 3, the number of hidden nodes 5, the type of activation function is binary sigmoid, and the ratio of training data and test data by 90% : 10% so that the average value of MAPE is obtained by 1.59722%.

Abstract

Jingga is a local hijab brand that currently serves retail purchases. Previously, Jingga only served wholesale purchases. The promotion process is carried out through social media, while the transaction process is carried out via WhatsApp. Because previously it only served wholesalers, this manual transaction process was still sufficient because there were not as many wholesale buyers as retail buyers. However, because currently Jingga also serves retail purchases, the transaction process like this is certainly less efficient because there are definitely more retail buyers than wholesale buyers. To facilitate this, an e-commerce website was built using the waterfall method complete with management systems such as product management, transactions and shipping. In addition, integration was also carried out with RajaOngkir, a service provider of information regarding freight forwarding and shipping costs, for an automatic shipping cost calculation system. The website is tested using black box testing and compatibility testing. From the test results, it was found that the website can be run well and in harmony with system requirements, and the website can be run in various types of browsers.

Abstract

The Gym, also known as a gymnasium, is a closed location for people who want to maintain fitness. The number of students and residents in Malang city is the ideal place to open a gym. However, many gym locations in the city of Malang make students and citizens confused to choose the location of the gym they want to rent. Ignasius Tri has developed an application to provide recommendations for gym locations. The application is abIe to provide gym recommendations based on weight values ​​from distance, price, and rating criteria given by the user. However, the problem is that the application is onIy abIe to accept input from one user and visiting the gym is sometimes done in groups. Development of a gym recommendation android application in Malang was developed with an Android-based Group Decision Support System and Location Based Services with TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by SimiIarity to ldeaI SoIution) and Borda algorithms with criteria in the form distance between the user and gym location, rental prices, and rating. Data is stored in Google firebase. Based on the tests carried out, the results from the Blackbox application test are worth 100% and the functionality is declared valid. The algorithm's viladation testing yields the same 100% value. The usability test yields a value of 79.5 indicating a Good rating for the adjective rating and a grade C grade on the percentile rank.

Abstract

Traditional cakes or generally referred to as market snacks are one of the many traditional specialties originating from Indonesia and are usually traded in traditional markets. The cakes that are traded are of various types and have a distinctive taste and are not inferior to modern food. The traditional cake is usually packaged in an attractive and unique form, the wrapper can come from leaves that have fallen or are still alive to be wrapped in plastic in order to attract consumers or buyers. Even though in today's era, there are not a few instant and practical food products, even some imported products from abroad whose packaging is more attractive. And this traditional cake is one of many cultural heritages that should be more commensurate with other Indonesian cultural assets. Therefore, as the color of Indonesia, we should maintain and preserve and further introduce to all levels of society that traditional cakes are no less delicious than modern food, especially children today who are foreign to these traditional cakes. Therefore, a system is needed to identify traditional foods, especially traditional cakes, by utilizing the sophistication of technology that exists in the current digital era. This study proposes the application of image segmentation on traditional cakes using the DBSCAN algorithm to obtain cake image segmentation results with an average Intersection over Union (IoU) accuracy of 91.3% and a maximum value of 99.8%. This shows that the proposed method is able to provide the best results.

Abstract

Senjani Kitchen is a catering service based in Malang, East Java which provides delivery services inside and outside the city. Almost every day there are always order transactions made by customers. That's make a lot of value and financial benefits, but suggests that there are some problems in some of the ongoing business processes. Some processes that have problems are the process of recording the orders and the bento or lunch boxes. The recording process is done manually using paper notes and with Microsoft Excel programs, so that there is often a loss of information between employees working on orders. The problems of management and business will be solved with development of a system. Development is carried out by applying the waterfall method because the features or system requirements have been defined in the requirement analysis based on the agreement between the user and the developer. The requirement analysis process is explain the features and functionality of a business management system catering, and the result is based on the problem of business process. After the requirement process they are a design process for implementing the requirement to the actual system. Program code will be implemented using the PHP programming language. System validation is done by means of testers which are carried out by two methods, unit testing, and validation testing. The results of the unit and validation testing produce 100% validity, so this business management system has met and is in accordance with user requirement.

Abstract

A compound is a single substance composed of two or more elements that form chemical bonds. There are two types of compounds, namely active compounds and inactive compounds. Active compounds are compounds that have physiological effects on other organisms. In Indonesia, there are still many active compounds whose function is unknown. Therefore, a classification method is needed to help determine the function of the active compound. Classification is done with data written in SMILES notation. From the SMILES notation, features such as the number of atoms B, C, N, O, P, S, F, Cl, Br, I, OH, =, #, @, -, +, COC, C = C, are taken. O-], N +, C = O, and () go through the preprocessing process. Before being used for the classification process, all these features are divided by the length of the SMILES notation to get their value. This research was conducted to classify the function of active compounds by applying the Random Forest (RF) method with the SMILES data object with 4 classes of compound functions. RF was chosen because this method has almost no overfitting conditions, is able to handle data with many features, and this method is not affected by datasets that have missing values. The best accuracy resulted in testing with 4 class data is 69% and the best average in testing with the K-Fold Cross Validation method is 63%. Then, on the data with 3 classes of compound functions, the best accuracy is 76% and the best average in testing with the K-Fold Cross Validation method is 70%. Finally, testing data with 2 classes of compound functions produces the highest accuracy of 86% and the best average of 80%.
