Abstract

Currently, internet of things (IoT) based technology has been widely applied to monitor temperature and humidity in mushroom cultivation house. Sensors like the DHT11 are involved to sense temperature and humidity. After the data is obtained, then the data is sent to the base station for temporary storage. The base station then forwards the data to a database located in the cloud so that the data can be stored. Users must be connected to the internet first when they want to access data. Internet connection is a must for internet of things based systems. If the mushroom cultivation house location is in a location or area that does not have an internet connection, then the IoT-based system cannot work. This is a problem for this system. Based on these problems, this research tries to overcome these problems by making a prototype of a temperature and humidity monitoring system based on fog computing on mushroom cultivation house. This prototype is made similar to an IoT-based system, but the data can still be accessed even without an internet connection. This can happen because the database and web server are placed on the fog node (Raspberry pi 3) which is on the local network. The result of this research is that the system can be accessed on a local network without involving an internet connection and runs like a cloud-based system. Also, performance testing shows that 25 to 50 meters is a good distance to transmit data.

Abstract

Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) is a mandatory activity held by every vocational high school (SMK) which is carried out for up to one year. During carrying out these activities, students are required to perform all sequences of activities manually or offline. Activities carried out manually are considered difficult from the side of students and teachers who have to manually ask the company, especially in this digital era. The existence of this internship web application will later be able to support and simplify the entire process of these activities, starting from information on companies that have collaborated, registration of activities, licensing activities, monitoring the activity process, to assessment and reporting. Before making the website application, of course, it is necessary to design a user interface. So a user interface design was made on the Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) web application at SMKN 2 Singosari. In this study, the researcher decided to use the Design Thinking method in implementing the design implementation. This method has stages, namely Empathize which is a data collection process, Define is a problem analysis process and needs exploration, Ideate is the process of getting ideas and solutions, Prototype which is the process of implementing ideas and solutions into user interface designs and Testing, namely design testing. interface to the user. After being tested, the results of the design get a test score of 83, which can be categorized into a proper design as a school website application.

Abstract

Anwar Motor has 3 branches, each branch has 453 types of spare parts and has an average 100 customers every day.. Anwar Motor has several activities such as spare parts sales and service transactions, loan applications, mechanic payroll, spare parts purchases, and low spare parts reports. The management of spare parts carried out by Anwar Motor often results in differences in recording so that they do not know the stock of spare parts in each branch. In addition, there is the problem of applying for loans that are often not recorded for managers and mechanics. Not only that, mechanic's salary is not known clearly or transparently between mechanic and manager. A web-based Motorcycle Parts and Service Sales Management Information System based on the Anwar Motor case study was developed to solve this problem. The development of this system uses the Waterfall model with an object-oriented approach. This system has been tested using unit testing, integration, validation and compatibility. Unit and integration testing using whitebox testing techniques, validation testing using blackbox testing techniques and compatibility testing using Sortsite software. The results of the test get 100% valid for all the tests..

Abstract

Skincare products have been widely used by people to deal with their face skin problems, keep skin healthy, and increase self-confidence. However, this makes the skincare industry compete to sell its products. Many types of skincare products on the market that make skincare users confused in finding the right products. Based on these problems, this research aims to reduce errors and overcome obstacles in choosing skincare products that are suitable for skin problems, type, age, allergies, proper ingredients, and user-safe labels with made a mobile-based skincare product recommendation application using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method. In the solution design evaluation stage, usability testing is done by giving seven assessments. Then proceed with giving the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) questionnaires. The solution design test was carried out twice, the results of the second iteration test increasing from the first one. The usability results for the effectiveness aspect is 93.75%, the efficiency is 92.83% (time-based efficiency of 0.058 goals/sec), and satisfaction is 80.47 (categorized as very good). The results of the mean scale value of UEQ for attractiveness, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty aspects were categorized as very good. The perspicuity aspect is categorized as good.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical wholesaler is a business that already has a license to distribute pharmaceutical products. In product distribution, there are pharmacies that are close by, no delivery is made, so the courier returns again and gets a larger total distance. Thus, pharmaceutical wholesalers need an optimal route for distributing pharmaceutical products. This problem is a Multi Traveling Salesman Problem (MTSP). The K-Means and Artificial Bee Colony algorithms were chosen to solve the MTSP problem because the K-Means algorithm can be used to share data with the best sources. The solution used in K-Means is the closest neighbor coordinate solution only. So that an artificial bee colony algorithm is needed to help avoid being trapped in the local optima. The artificial bee colony algorithm will be used in finding the optimal route in the problem of optimizing the distribution route of pharmaceutical products at the Kediri City Pharmacy. From the research conducted, it is proven that the ABCKM algorithm is proven to be better than the ABC algorithm and better than using the distribution route carried out by the current courier. From the research, the artificial bee colony algorithm achieves convergence in finding the best solution with a popsize of 70, a limit of 25, and a maximum iteration of 700. From the optimal parameters, the best fitness value is 0.012193.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been ongoing since December 2019 and has harmed the community in the economic sector, one of which is MSMEs. The recommendation from the government is that buying and selling transactions are carried out indirectly. Therefore, MSME actors are urged to adapt by promoting their sales via digital, one of which is Instagram. However, of the 64 million MSMEs in Indonesia, only 300 thousand have switched to digital, so many MSMEs do not know how important digital marketing is. Understanding digital marketing is very important to understand the market environment, attract consumer interest, and expand marketing reach. However, it is not uncommon for MSME actors to find it difficult to find information about digital marketing. They need a digital marketing learning application that is interactive and comfortable to use by MSME actors. This research was conducted to design the user experience of the Instagram digital marketing learning application for MSMEs with a Human-Centered Design approach, this method focuses on the user because at every stage of the process it involves the user so that it can produce needs that are by the user and produce high satisfaction and are comfortable to use. The final result of the research is in the form of a prototype, the prototype that has been designed will be evaluated by 20 end-users as MSME actors using the user experience questionnaire method, suggestions, and responses. In user experience testing using the user experience questionnaire method, it scored 1.90 on the attractiveness aspect, 1.59 on the perspicuity aspect, 1.93 on the efficiency aspect, 1.85 on the dependability aspect, 1.90 on the stimulation aspect, and 1.60 on the novelty aspect. In the suggestions and responses, found 4 recommendations for improving the design of the solution that is used to improve the design of the solution to suit user needs.

Abstract

E-learning is the use of information and communication technology networks in teaching and learning. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing educational entities to adapt to using e-learning. The virtual learning method has limitations in recognizing student expressions. Facial expressions cannot be used as a tool by lecturers to interpret students' understanding of online learning. Previous research has been able to build a system that can detect student emotions by detecting patterns of eyes, head, and facial expressions. Building a user facial expression monitoring system that is integrated with e-learning is one step to help educators detect student expressions online. The facial expression detector used is the face-api.js library. The data obtained from the face-api.js library is extracted and then sent to the database. Then the data stored in the database will be displayed on the admin page. The Hypersheets application will be a testing ground for integrating this facial expression detection system. The system development method uses the waterfall method. The developed system produces 4 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. The unit test results get a 100% pass result and the validation test has 12 test cases and gets a 100% pass result. Web application compatibility testing using SortSite got no critical issues. And has a System Usability Scale value of 72.5 which is included in the category of having good usability. It is hoped that this system can help the Hypersheets application in detecting the user's facial expressions as a basis for monitoring the emotions of students who study with this application.

Abstract

MANET is a wireless network that consists of many mobile devices that serve as nodes. Dedicated infrastructure or centralized access points are not owned by this free tool. MANET has several types of routing protocols, namely reactive, proactive, and hybrid protocols. DSDV is an example of a proactive routing protocol. However, MANET networks can also be attacked. One example of his attack is Wormhole. A wormhole is an attack that consists of 2 or more nodes in pairs and forms a tunnel to transmit data between wormhole nodes. This study tested two scenarios, namely using attacks and without wormhole attacks. The test was carried out using NS-2.35 with each scenario using random waypoint movements and varying the number of nodes and the number of pairs of wormhole nodes. The test is based on the test parameters using QoS. The QoS parameters used are throughput, end-to-end delay, and packet delivery ratio. The best throughput results are in the scenario of 60 nodes without wormhole attacks of 0.78 kbps. The best delay is in the 60 node scenario using one pair of wormhole attacks of 3.57926 seconds in the end-to-end results. At the same time, the best packet delivery ratio results are in the 80 node scenario without a wormhole attack of 35.8974%.

Abstract

PT. Adhi Persada Beton is a company that produces precast and ready mix concrete. This concrete production aims to meet the needs of precast concrete on projects handled by PT. Adi Karya. In the concrete testing process that was carried out there were several problems such as the slipping of test documents and the lack of efficiency in testing time. Nowadays, the development of technology is growing rapidly, which is companies need new innovations to improve their business process.Therefore, a solving the problem the researcher develop a web-based application.This web- based application has a function for recording test data carried out at the Adhi Persada Beton Factory. This system can help manufacturers to reduce paper usage, minimize data loss and save costs and digital storage so that test data can be easily tracked in the future for reuse. In this development using the Extreme Programming method with Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. This system testing using Black Box to test functionally system. The test result on this system indicate that all the functionalities contained in the system are declared valid.

Abstract

The questionnaire is a data collection media done by giving written questions. Some agencies this day still have not used digital media as a medium. The use of digital media technology for filling out questionnaires can ease employees' work in the process of sentiment analysis, where data is automatically stored in the database and generates sentiment analysis results filling out the questionnaire. Based on this problem, we need systems that can automatically perform sentiment classification to make it easier for employees to get the report results used as an evaluation of the Local Government Clinic. The classification executed through several stages starting from pre-processing which consists of cleaning, case folding, tokenization, filtering, and stemming. Then proceed with the calculation of term weighting and cosine similarity to the sentiment classification process using Improved K-Nearest Neighbor method. Based on the results of the implementation and testing of the system using k-fold cross-validation get an average Precision value of 0.7657, a Recall value of 0.8088, F-Measure value of 0.7847, and accuracy value of 0.7738. In testing the amount of training data, the best test results were obtained with an average Precision value of 0.8544, Recall value of 0.78, F-Measure value of 0.8151, and an accuracy value of 0.823. It takes accuracy in determining the documents used as training data on the system to produce optimal accuracy. Some words in the document still use non-standard words, causing the system to be wrong in classifying sentiments. It would be nice if the documents used training data were normalized first to obtain optimal results.
