Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro is a school that successfully gets the predicate as a school with national integrity from the Ministry of Education and Culture. Since then, SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro has been using Computer-Based Test (CBT) to maintain and enhance the predicate. However, the problems that occured in the implementation of this CBT system are the network not working properly, rotating blackouts, limited computer laboratories, teachers can't asses processes that require long descriptions or counts because CBT is only for multiple choice questions, and CBT system are lack of security. To evaluate this system, PSSUQ questionnaires were distributed, that consists system quality, information quality, interface quality, and overall quality to students of SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro as a system users. Then the results of the questionnaire were analyzed using the method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The result of the analysis showed that the CBT system of SMA Negeri 1 Bojonegoro has not comply with the user expectation because the average of gap analysis resulted between importance and performance of -0.83 or <0. From quadrant analysis result, it can be determined recommendation to improvement based on HHS Usability Guidelines. Recommendations to improvement for the CBT system were carried out for items that included in quadrants A, C, and D.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a method of farming that does not use soil as a growing medium, but only use water containing nutrients that plants need. One of the factors success of planting with this method is affected by how the owners do care for the plants. Primary the treatments are done to ensure the circulation of nutrients or watering is given a timely manner in sufficient quantities. There was a time hydroponic plant owners are not anywhere near the planting area so that is not directly taking care of the plants. In order for hydroponic plant owners will still be able to care for and monitor the environmental conditions of the plant although it is far from the planting site, the project in this paper provides an alternative solution to overcome these problems. Device made in this project combining the capabilities of arduino mega as a data acquisition system incorporating ethernet shield for data transmission through the Internet, DHT11 sensor to read the temperature and humidity, special applications android blynk as monitoring tools, and RTC for timing in realtime. Arduino Mega is also associated with ignition relay to set the sprinkler pumps or circulatory water. Based on testing conducted found that each module can work well according to its function. With the appropriate network quality testing (average delay to blynk server is 1242ms, obtained by the process of sending commands and execution watering and environmental data delivery takes about 1-2 minutes.

Abstract

The occurrence of chemical composition deviations or mechanical properties in steel production causes the clasification of steels based on standards can't be defined. The deviation that occurs is the deviation from the maximum limit of the chemical composition and the minimum limit of the mechanical properties of steel. This is the background of researchers to create a system using the Fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor method. The Fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor (Fuzzy K-NN) method used for classifying steel standards based on the chemical composition of the steel produced. The data used for this study is data steel products with the specifications of the steel composition, the mechanical properties of the steel and the classification of standard of steel produced. The steps performed are data normalization, Fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor, calculate Euclidean distance, take the shortest distance k, calculate the membership value of each class and determine the target class. The highest accuracy resulted by testing k values using k-fold cross validation is 74,44% with k value equal to 74,44 and total of training data is 267 data.

Abstract

Now days, information about healthy has been widely scattered and very easily obtained through the online website. But, within largest information that contain in the text of article make the reader can't understand about contents of the text. So, we need a system that can summarize a text to make easy the reader in understanding the contents of the text. Automatic text summary using k-nearest neighbor based on statistical features can be solution about the problem. Statistical features such as position of a sentence in a paragraph, overall sentence position, numerical data, inverted commas, the length of the sentence and keyword has important influence become parameter in summarization. From testing of statistical features that have been done by using k = 3, this method get result the best value of precision, recall and f -measure on feature set 9 with values 0.75, 0.71 and 0.72. From the test can concluded that the features that have a significant influence on the rise and fall of precision and recall values are position of a sentence in paragraph and sentence overall position. And then, from the test of k variation on the best feature set, we get maximum feature set value when k = 1 with the average value of precision, recall and f-measure of 0.89, 0.74 and 0.81.

Abstract

Database is a collection of systematic data stored in a computer. Database becomes popular in its implementation on the network because the user can access data on the database without need to store data on each user's computer. But the impact of ease of access, the database is also likely to be exposed to external threats by irresponsible people. One such threat is injection. SQL injection is one of the suspicious actions that exploit vulnerabilities in the SQL database. The most commonly used detection method today is to apply rules that aimed at preventing actions that harm a SQL database. However, these rules are not always effective, especially for new SQL injection methods. For that we need a system that can adapt to the new types of attacks based on existing attack data. Intrusion detection system that can adapt to new types of SQL injection attacks. The author implements an intrusion detection system using learning vector quantization method and tests it on a local network. The test results show an accuracy of 80%.

Abstract

The amount of vehicles in Indonesia increases every year, this causing long queues at gates, mall, or tolls that require the process of recording license plates. This research will help simplify the process of recording license plate by creating a vehicle license plate recognition system. The system will try to recognize the license plate from a digital image. The first step in the license plate recognition system is to detect the location of the license plate by applying vertical edge detection because the area of license plate contains rich edge and texture information. The next step is character segmentation, this is a process to get characters from license plate image. this can be done by applying connected component algorithm. The last step is character recognition using learning vector quantization algorithm. Based on the result of this research, the highest accuracy is 94% in the license plate detection process, the highest f-measure value is 0,88 in the character segmentation process and the highest accuracy for character recognition using Learning Vector Quantization algorithm is 86,67%.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases that can cause death and one of the diseases heredity. Most people do not care about a healthy lifestyle. Health is very important in everyday life. The public is less aware of the problem of health care so that the rate of deaths worldwide has increased. The public salso did not understand the similarity of the symptoms of disease appear not treated quickly lead to disease. To overcome these problems invented a system for the identification of diabetes mellitus using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN). Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) is one method of classification is based on the number of class occurrence on data mining. There are 15 symptoms and 2 types of diseases are used as parameters in development of the system. An output as the result produced by the system is diagnosis of the type of disease and how to control. Based on method, this research obtain 93,33% of good accuracy and error rate of 6,67%. The system using of method Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) can be applied in society based on result.

Abstract

Recently, technology has been developed to facilitate human life in every aspects including agriculture. Implementation of technology in agriculture is still left behind for example in terms of observation soil moisture. Based on concept of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) we can make a suitable network architecture to solve the problem. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is one of the emerging technologies which combine sensors and tiny embedded devices over a wireless communication medium. The aim of this study is how to make a reliable communication for the system. To accomplish our objectives, we implemented a lighweight protocol as a web transfer protocol named Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) for the system. To collect the soil moisture data we integrated Microcontroller Wemos D1 and sensor YL-69 to perform as a sensor node, it sends sensing data to the server with bluetooth module HC-05. Then servers and clients will exchange data wirelessly using the CoAP protocol. To see the performance of the CoAP protocol, we tested the data exchanging that occurs between server and client in several scenarios. The test result revealed there is a significant increase of delay in payload size more than 64 bytes because of process blockwise mechanism in CoAP protocol. In addition, distance can also increase the delay in data transmission process.

Abstract

Each district and the cities in Indonesia have a separate icon to showcase their respective regions. Start from the culture until the potential of tourism object. One of the most well known icon until the territory was visited by many tourists is tourism object. This is shown by the number of domestic tourists and also foreign tourists who visited in each area in Indonesia one of the Malang Regency. Malang Regency rich natural tourism potential and other tourism. Therefore this Regency nicknamed "The Heart of East Java". Malang Regency has tourism ambassador, joko roro Kabupaten Malang. Joko roro stand since 2005. But in the participants who later became the next joko and roro, the committee feel difficulties. This is marked with the number of participants that resulted in missing data. And also very obstructionist opinion judges when the determination of the finalists who will be joko and roro. From these problems, then designed a decisions support systems can determine the decision of the finalists tour ambassador joko roro of Malang Regency. This research uses namely with one of method TOPSIS and using the five criteria for administration and five criteria for selection. Testing the accuracy of the obtained accurate until 52%.

Abstract

The process of motorcycle maintenance is the main business process at UD Honda II Kepanjen Ahass 06641. In the process of motorcycle maintenance there are several activities performed, starting from customers come to perform maintenance, motorcycle maintenance work, until the motorcycle maintenance is done . In doing motorcycle maintenance activities occur some activities that are not in accordance with the target company, so it can hamper the existing activities in the company. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate using Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method to know the gap that occurs between the target company with the results of calculations performed in QEF method. The first step is to identify the main business processes in the workshop, then model the business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Next determine the quality factor and target company, then performed calculations in accordance with the equations that is in the QEF method. Then identify the quality factor that is not in accordance with the target company. After finding the gap in the evaluation process, the next step is to do Root Cause Analysis, the purpose is to find the cause and root of the problem of the gap. The result of this research are the causes and effects that occur in the activity or process that has been evaluated.
