Abstract

Conventionally, examining sugar levels and protein content in the blood is one of them using invasive methods. The method involves medical procedures in the form of injections or procedures related to needles. As a result, if someone has an excessive fear of needles, they are reluctant to carry out an examination. Based on this, we need a system capable of classifying sugar and detecting protein content with non-invasive methods. This system utilizes the physiological conditions of urine and reagents (Benedict and Biuret) for initial diagnosis to make the examination process more effective and efficient. In its implementation, this system uses two main sensors, the TCS230 color sensor and an infrared sensor which extract features from urine physiology in the form of color and detect test tubes. This study uses the K-nearest neighbor method as the classification algorithm and Arduino Mega as a microcontroller. Testing is done by training the system using 105 sample data which includes 70 training data and 15 test data. Testing system accuracy is influenced by the value of K, carried out with scenarios of K = 3, K = 5, and K = 7. The results are system accuracy for each K value of 88.57, 85.71%, and 82.85%. In addition to accuracy, it is known that the average system computing time is 0.734 seconds.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is needed by all living things. It is appropriate that we have to preserve these resources. Simply by using water as necessary, it is already preserving the water on earth. But as a human being who doesn't escape mistakes, he must have experienced where he forgot to turn off the water pump when filling the water reservoir at home so that the water was wasted. For this reason, this research was carried out. The system consists of Arduino Uno as processing, Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04 to read water level and Relay to turn on and off the water pump. And also the system created will apply low powering using the sleep mode method, so that when filling the water reservoir it takes a relatively long time. This tool does not continue to read the water level, but will enter sleep within the specified timeframe. So this tool will only be active when the water level in the reservoir has been detected as running out or full, so that it will optimize the power used. After the system is designed and tested, the average power used by the system before applying low power is 83.88 mA when the water pump is on and 24.18 mA when the pump is off. When compared after applying low power, the system is able to make 13.14% efficient when the pump is on and 53.73% when the pump is off.

Abstract

Air is one of the important elements that support the daily routine of everything on this earth, but in today's time air quality is undergoing an undeniable shift in path due to extremely high levels of contamination, so the need for clean and natural air is right. -true is almost difficult to obtain in line with the rapid development of urban development, industry, and the high level of emission of motor vehicle emissions. Many cases of sudden death caused by this gas, especially in users of four-wheeled vehicles. Exhaust gas in vehicles is the residue from combustion in the form of water (H2O), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen Oxide (NOx), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Hydrated Carbon (HC) compounds as imperfections in the combustion process. and loose particles. To avoid this, a thesis is made to detect and monitor the presence of CO and CO2 gases in the air and any changes in the data detected by the sensors on the air health monitoring tool in the car will be stored, so that data on the presence of gas detected can be processed. and displayed as information. The implementation of the system uses two sensors as input, and if the sensor reads the parameter value, ESP32 will process the data and then the data is processed to be displayed on the web server. Then the data that has been inputted will be sent using the notification delivery protocol from the BOT telegram. From the results of testing the time of sending this data, the average time when the sensor sends data to the user gets a delivery time of 2566.66 ms (milliseconds) and vice versa, when the user takes data from the sensor, the average delivery time is 2766.66, this indicates if the data is sent fairly quickly also get satisfactory results.

Abstract

Internship is an activity organized by vocational schools to improve a particular field of expertise and prepare students to enter the world of work. PKL activities at SMK Negeri 1 Sumenep have three stages, namely planning/data collection, implementation, and assessment. The data collection stage to the assessment stage is still done manually which results in frequent gaps in data processing for street vendors. Therefore, at SMK Negeri 1 Sumenep need an information system for the management of street vendors activities. Before developing an information system, a user interface design is needed as a basic material or reference in system development. User interface design focuses on the appearance of a product and usability to increase the level of ease of display. One approach in designing user interfaces is Human Centered Design (HCD) which involves users in the process. The resulting user interface design is a display on the role of admin, street vendors committee, supervising teachers, and students. Usability evaluation uses the heuristic evaluation (HE) method which involves experts during the evaluation and by following usability principles. The results of usability testing on the user interface found a total of 11 problems from the evaluator.

Abstract

Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya is a service institution in the health sector in Surabaya city under the auspices of Indonesian National Police. Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya still uses the manual method in its registration administration process which causes long queues. So that Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya plans to develop a mobile application to make it more easier in its services for users to get health services without going through a long administrative process. The design of this application mobile has an important role, therefore its necessary to have a user experience design to provide application results that comfort when used by users. Human-Centered Design (HCD) is a method used to design user experience of this application mobile, which is used as a reference designing interface of application, focusing on producing useful service systems and focusing on user needs. To find out whether the designed solution is in a accordance with the user's goal, results of the design will be tested using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The results obtained the mean value of each UEQ scale and showed values in the positive category, namely the good category on the clarity scale, then the excellent category on the efficiency, attractiveness, accuracy, novelty and stimulation scale. So that the Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya mobile application produces a good user experience design.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease is a new outbreak that can transmit infection through close contact or water droplets. Corona virus attacks the human respiratory system so that it can cause illness with symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath that can cause death. The use of a mask that covers the nose and mouth can prevent transmission. As a form of prevention, people are starting to be forced by regulations to always use masks in public places and when interacting with other people. However, it will be difficult for the authorities to monitor large groups of people. These problems can be solved with a system to detect masks. Mask detection in this study uses the naive bayes classification to distinguish a face with a mask correctly or incorrectly and also without a mask. The information used for classification is obtained through the histogram of facial image texture feature extraction using Local Ternary Pattern. The extracted image is preprocessed which includes resizing the image width and image grayscaling. The data used are 3,900 face images. Tests were carried out on the size of the image width, the threshold value, the number of bins, and the split of training and testing data. The results of the naive bayes classification produce an optimal accuracy of 68.462% with an image width of 50, a threshold value of 4, the number of bins 32, the distribution of training and testing data are 70%: 30%. Tests with 2 classes, namely correctly masked faces and unmasked faces, obtained an accuracy value of 86.15%. Based on these results, it is known that the naive bayes classification cannot properly classify images in the masked class incorrectly.

Abstract

The merdeka-filkom website portal, which is a website aims to be a forum for students to share their experiences of Independent Learning activities, and as an information center for Independent Learning activities at the Merdeka Campus at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. Limited working time and personnel, so that the provision of information becomes slow and reduces the user experience on the website portal. To overcome these problems, building a robot in the form of a chat service to make it easier for users to find information and stakeholders of the Merdeka-Filkom website in conveying information on the Merdeka-Filkom Website Portal using HubSpot will greatly facilitate users and application developers. The design is carried out using the Human-Centered Design method and then evaluates the design with usability testing with an effectiveness level of 99% and an efficiency of 95%, also tests the usability scale system to measure the level of user satisfaction with a score of 79.4 with an adjective rating of good.

Abstract

Adopsi is an application developed by PT. Oniyon Creative Revolution with the goal to make pet adoption process easier and simplified. Based on the evaluation conducted using user experience questionnaire (UEQ), the benchmark value was found to be at poor level. Besides of running well functionally, a system must consider improving their user experience in the hope of improving the ease when running the system. This study uses user-centered design approach by identifying the characteristics of users and involving users as respondents in the user experiences design process. The initial evaluation was performed on the existing design of application using UEQ method to determine the level of user experience according to respondent's impression, the usability testing method to find usability problems faced by respondents when doing the given task and open interview to collect user's problems and needs. There are 19 issues found and recommendations for solutions are made by following the design guidelines from 10 Usability Heuristics and Material design. The results of design process are implemented on a prototype as a test tool of design solution. Then evaluation of solution design performed using the same method as on the existing application design and improvements are made to get a final design that fits the user's needs.

Abstract

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the government continues to pay close attention to study plans, one of which is implemented in universities, namely Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). In order to support the implementation of activities, the government to create an official website for the Kampus Merdeka (KM). In its development, the quality of the website becomes an important part that needs attention. This research was conducted to get feedback from students, especially the internship program at Skilvul Virtual Internship. WebQual 4.0 method is related to measuring the influence of website quality on user satisfaction. Data was collected through the distribution of online questionnaires containing as many as 20 statement items from all the variables used. Using purposive sampling technique got a total of 106 respondents with valid answers. Data analysis using multiple linear regression with the SPSS 26 program resulted showing the three WebQual 4.0 variables simultaneously affecting 80.1% of user satisfaction variables, while the rest was explained by factors other than those in the study. Meanwhile, the partial test results show that the usability quality variable has no significant effect compared to the other two variables, namely the information quality variable and the service interaction quality which have a significant and positive effect on the user satisfaction variable on the KM website.
