Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a non-ministerial government agency that is directly responsible to the president and carries out statistical data needs for the government and the public. In developing village potentials based on a survey on the Central Statistics Agency's (BPS) webGIS display design, it was found that there were several problems that needed to be fixed. Problems that have been found such as effectiveness and efficiency in the BPS PODES webGIS design, and color mapping that does not differentiate from one legend to another. Therefore, this research needs to be improved and apply the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach as a design solution development and use usability testing to determine the value of interface evaluation and user experience. Evaluation of the user interface was carried out twice, namely on the user interface before repairs and after repairs. The first evaluation was carried out for understanding the context of use and validating existing problems. In the first evaluation, which was attended by 5 participants, the average value of effectiveness was 88%, the average efficiency was 0.0251 goals/second and 83.19%, and the satisfaction value based on the SUS score gave a score of 80.125. Meanwhile, for the second evaluation on effectiveness, it got a value of 0.0771 goals/second, for efficiency it got a value of 93% and the SUS score for improving the BPS PODES webGIS interface in the second session was 86.25 and was included in the A+ category (best imaginable) and exceeded the value The SUS percentile is 68 and it shows that the second session of BPS PODES webGIS user interface improvement related to the need for new features already has a high level of satisfaction. New features already have a high level of satisfaction.

Abstract

Maintaining security and the environment is a shared responsibility as citizens. One of the most important parts in maintaining security and the environment is the participation of the community. In this case the form of community participation to protect the environment is manifested in the form of a security and environmental system, one of the community's efforts to maintain security and the surrounding environment is to carry out patrols or siskamling activities. Meanwhile, the rapid development of technology forces us to keep up with these technological developments, especially in the world of information and communication technology. Technology plays an important role in the modern era as it is today, one of the technologies currently developing is Augmented Reality (AR). AR is a technology that combines virtual objects both 2D and 3D into a real environment and then projects these virtual objects in real time. Utilization of AR is done by implementing it on a system with the aim of combining virtual objects with real objects. Based on an interview with the security chief in question, it was not easy for officers to coordinate with each other with the Handy Talky (HT) communication tool, the coordination between officers was quite complicated because other officers and the field coordinator could not visually blend in with only the HT. Given these problems, this research implements Augmented Reality Location Based using the Navigation Coordinate System which is a coordinate system mapped from GPS points which will then become the coordinate points on the smartphone screen camera display. By implementing this Location Based Augmented Reality in an application with the Android platform, the Security and Security Service officers can visually unite other officers on their smartphone screens. In this study, usability testing was also carried out using the System Usability Scale method, with an average result of 77.25 which can show Augmented Reality applications that are easy to use by Security and Security Officers.

Abstract

Skin disease is one of the most common diseases in Indonesia. In general, skin disease is not fatal, so its presence is often ignored, and people affected do not take it seriously. The solution for implementing E-Health in skin health services is to make it easier for people with skin diseases to get health services directly from specialist doctors. The design of the User Interface on the E-health Website in this study will use a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. In designing the User Interface of the E-Health Website, the frequent appearance of Modal becomes a form of applying the principles of UCD. Modal is a solution because it can maximize Usability, Performance and simplify (Simplify) navigation. The design test in this study using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire method resulted in an average score of 6.57 by public health center officers and 6.40 by public health center doctors. The total average satisfaction value of the two users is 6.48, which shows that the UI design of the E-Health Situs Web is easy to use.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in the country's economy. MSMEs have great potential, therefore it is important to help MSMEs maximize their potential. MSMEs generally have not adapted to modern ways of managing businesses. Dapur Maya is one of them. Dapur Maya still uses the traditional method of using pen and paper or memorizing in most of its management aspects. This causes problems such as customer complaints due to late orders or forgetting to buy some ingredients which lead to decreased customer trust and revenue. To help Dapur Maya MSMEs and similar MSMEs solve this problem, research was done to design the user experience of a mobile application for cake shop management using the Design Thinking method. The design goes through empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test phase. The test results show an effectiveness level of 92%, an efficiency level of 0.22 goals/second, and a SUS score of 81.6 which can be rated as Good, B grade scale, and Acceptable category. The results of UEQ testing gave 1.57 on Attractiveness, 2.10 on Perspicuity, 2.20 on Efficiency, 1.95 on Dependability, 1.80 on Stimulation, and 1.20 on Novelty. All UEQ scores are greater than 0.8 which means the results are considered positive.

Abstract

In human life, one of the most important things is security. Security works to prevent, protect assets, physical or digital items that we own from theft and lost items. According to the data from Indonesian National Police Yogyakarta Region, the number of theft cases in 2021 has reached 1219 cases, and that's why a protection system is necessary as an effort to guard against any thief. The commonly used protection system for physical items is a safety box. Technological advancements especially hardware, encourage people to help, simplify and solve problems. Microcontroller technology is currently evolving. Microcontroller serves a digital processing purpose and certain program and instruction can be made according to what we want. Technological advancements can be associated with the security field such as biometric face recognition. This face recognition system can recognize a person's face. To construct a protection system preventing theft, this research uses double security on a safety box, PIN and face detection. Applying the deep learning Convolutional Neural Network for face detection so the system can detect the safety box owner's and not the owner's face. PIN number combination must be inputted to lock the safety box using a solenoid lock. The purpose of this research is to construct a double security safety box without risking losing a key. According to the test results, the system can detect the owner's face object with 83% accuracy, 81% precision, 86% recall with 8.19 seconds of computing time, 100% success rate of PIN input, face detection and keypad integration to solenoid lock test results with a 100% success rate.

Abstract

Technology has brought people's habits to be completely digital, especially in the economic field. Covid-19 is increasingly having an impact on economic behavior so that people are gradually changing their consumption patterns to online. Business actors must also change the marketing model to switch to online. In the product marketing process, of course, suppliers of goods are needed as suppliers to help get products that have value at affordable prices. In this study, designing a user experience design for a wholesale marketplace application to help business actors find suppliers so that they can get products easily through the application. The development method uses the Human Centered Design (HCD) method so that it can provide results from the analysis of the user context and user needs, the results of the solution design design and the results of the design evaluation. In the evaluation of the solution design using usability testing and filling out the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to 10 respondents. The evaluation carried out resulted in a usability value with an effectiveness value of 84.5%, an efficiency value of 0.058 goals/second, and a user satisfaction value of 84.5 with a grade A+ predicate and a Best Imaginable rating. Benchmark results from user experience for wholesale application design have excellent scores for aspects of attractiveness, clarity, accuracy, and stimulation and good scores for aspects of efficiency and novelty.

Abstract

One of the problems faced by rice farmers is crop failure due to diseases that spread without the knowledge of farmers. This situation can cause losses to farmers and reduce the supply of rice in Indonesia. This study aims to develop rice disease detection application using an Android smartphone. This study also aims to compare the quality of Android camera affects image detection. Detection is done by taking pictures, and the application will automatically detect the name of the disease and how to handle it. This app is developed using SDLC Waterfall, the Android operating system, and Tensorflow Lite. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely data collection, model training, system implementation, and testing and analysis. Data collection is done by taking public data from Kaggle. The model training phase is carried out by training the models using Teachable Machine. System implementation is done by making applications. Finally, the testing and analysis phase are to test the application based on specified scenario and analyze the results of the test. The results of this study are expected to be able to help rice farmers quickly detect rice diseases that are starting to spread, so that diseases can be overcome early.

Abstract

CV. Teguh Jaya Mandiri (TJM Production) is a company engaged in the screen printing and packaging industry. Despite having 15 years of experience, the accounting process at the company still uses the manual method. The process that is still done manually includes the preparation of general journals to the preparation of financial reports. As a result of financial reports that use manual methods only use books as processing media, several times an error occurred in data processing. The accounting process tends to take longer because if the finance staff enters the wrong data, the next process will be hampered and have to map the data to the previous process. Based on the problems that have been described, it is necessary to create an information system that can support financial accounting process on CV. Teguh Jaya Mandiri (TJM Production). Where this system can be used in the finance department to make it easier to enter data on income and expenses to be presented as information. The purpose of this research is to analyze user needs, design information systems according to requirements specifications, and evaluate requirements specifications. This study uses an object-oriented approach to perform system analysis and design. Meanwhile, the evaluation of the results used the sequence matrix method and the suitability method. This research produces current and proposed business processes, system features and requirements specifications, and system interfaces and evaluation results. The results of the evaluation of the traceability matrix show that each requirement can be traced to the features and design diagrams. While the results of the conformity evaluation show that the requirements specifications are by the features of the system.

Abstract

Licensing is one of the mandatory document requirements for public transport to operate. The application for licensing permits at the Malang City Transportation Service is carried out by means of the transportation driver submitting the required documents at the Malang City Transportation Service. This method results in delays in transportation work because they have to apply for permits which are time-consuming. In addition, the request for a permit due to incomplete documents experienced by the Malang City Transportation Service caused the licensing process to take a long time. A web-based general permit management system was developed to be able to provide a solution to this problem. The system was developed using the waterfall software development model and the approach used is object-oriented. The system testing uses 3 strategies, namely unit test, integration test, and validation test. Unit and integration tests use white box testing, while validation tests use black box testing. The results of the white box testing with 3 test cases showed valid results, while the results of the black box testing with the test of 67 functional requirements showed valid results.

Abstract

Porang is a tuber that has high mineral and glucomannan content, of which glucomannan used for the pharmaceutical, beverage, cosmetic, adhesive/glue, and textile industries. In 2018, 254 tons of porang tubers were exported, with a value of Rp. 11.31 billion. Porang has its own growing requirements, including the height of the planting area between 100-600 masl, temperature 25-35 °C, loose soil texture with high organic content, good air aeration, neutral pH between 6-7, requires about 30% shade, and soil moisture of about 40%. Therefore, planting to harvesting porang tubers can only be done once a year, planting during the rainy season and harvesting during the dry season. Due to this, a control system is needed for light intensity and soil moisture so that the cultivation of this porang plant is more optimal. This system uses a BH1750 sensor which functions to measure light intensity and a soil moisture sensor to measure soil moisture in plants. This system uses Arduino UNO as a controller for controlling light intensity and soil moisture. In testing on the fuzzy logic method, soil moisture data has an accuracy of 70% and light intensity has an accuracy of 80%, and on average both have an accuracy of 75%. In 10 trials the average time required is 1.799 seconds..
