Abstract

Personal shopper services or buying and selling services are systems individuals offer to "buy" something, which is then added a fee or fee for services, usually called a jastip fee. Many people like the business concept of this entrusted service. Someone who is traveling somewhere/traveling also takes advantage of this assigned service business because it is easier to do than online applications. Followers of the point-of-purchase service provider account who are interested in buying products can order the desired product from the point-of-purchase service provider. Furthermore, the delivery service provider can buy the ordered goods and then send them to the customer with additional purchase custody fees and shipping costs (Sugiarto, 2019). Personal shoppers need to prepare several things when offering their services. The delivery service provider must arrange the order list, order quantity details, order quantity restrictions, and delivery location. In addition, the number of social media followers also affects the running of the buying and selling service. The more the number of social media followers, the higher the level of order for buying and selling services. Based on the problems described above, the purpose of this research is to design a better user experience in using the personal shopper application using the Human-Centered Design method. This study involved several stages according to the HCD method. Evaluation of usability and user experience was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and a user experience questionnaire (UEQ). Usability test results in mobile application design produce the following results, namely 100% effectiveness, 0.092 goals per second, and a user satisfaction rating of 84 with a Good rating. They are testing the user experience using UEQ with the results of the attractiveness aspect of 2.05, clarity of 2.28, efficiency of 2.23, dependability of 2.00, stimulation of 2.09, and novelty of 1.56.

Abstract

The auction buying and selling process involves bidding goods to bidders and bidders offering higher prices until the goods are sold at the highest agreed price. Recently, internet technology has begun to be used to carry out the auction process. Even so, the online auction process still encounters several problems such as misinformation, differences in product expectations, fraud, and errors in pricing. To overcome these problems, developing auction applications can help minimize these obstacles. It is essential to strike a balance between an attractive interface design and a pleasant user experience. The purpose of this research is to design an interface and user experience for online media auctions using the Human Centered Design method. This method engages potential users and includes creating personas, empathy maps, and information architecture to identify user needs. Next, the implementation process is carried out through the creation of wireframes, wireflows, mockups, and prototypes to carry out usability tests and system usability scale tests. The test results show that the implementation has reached 95% effectiveness, and 92.09% efficiency, and the user satisfaction level reaches 77.19 on the SUS scale which is above the average. It can be concluded that the solution design created can minimize the problems that exist in the online auction process.

Abstract

Melanoma cancer is a type of deadly skin disease. Melanoma cancer caused by the melanocyte cells that produce melanin undergo mutations which makes these cells to grow abnormally and become cancerous. In Indonesia, the total of Melanoma cancer patient has reached 1,609 people and 699 people have died in 2020, while public awareness in Indonesia is still very low. There are several ways to detect melanoma cancer early, one of them are by using the ABCDE method, but not everyone knows about this method. The author wants to make an application for the early detection of melanoma cancer that utilizes images using the CNN algorithm and also provides education about the dangers of melanoma in the hope that users will go to a dermatologist to find irregularities in their skin. The author will develop the application based on needs and implemented using the Java programming language. For application testing there are validation, usability and accuracy tests. For validation testing using the blackbox method with 100% valid results, usability testing using SUS (System Usability Testing) with a score of 73 which is included in the good category, and accuracy testing with a score of 72%.

Abstract

Aquascape is one of the artificial water ecosystem, the aquascape system is mutually benefical. There are two important elements in this system, these two elements are bacteria and plants. In an aquascape, the water acidity (pH) and water level are important parameters that must be controlled and maintained to make aquascape can grow optimally, with this being the case, need control system by implementing the fuzzy method as a data processor and decision maker of water pH and water level. The next step is processing the pH and the water level on Arduino Uno microcontroller. The fuzzy membership is obtained from input of questionnaire responder, then data is used for implication process using the min function, next process is compossition. On compossition proccess, function used is the max function. Next proccess is interference process, and the last process is defuzzification process to get a firm value as the duration of the pump. In testing each sensor, the pH sensor and ultrasonic sensor have been running with a low error rate. In testing the methodology, Mamdani fuzzy method, the test is comparing manually output from the Mamdani fuzzy with manual calculation.based on the data obtained, the comparison between results of the system and manual calculation has the same output, based on these result, it can be concluded that system is in accordance with fuzzy calculation, and has a low error rate.

Abstract

In this decade, the number of vehicles, especially cars, has increased very rapidly. Every year the number of vehicles increases by 5% including passenger cars, with this rapid growth making parking lors increasingly limited and uncontrolled. With the use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) can perfrom measurable data collection with many predetermined nodes, with many of these nodes will cause problems in sending data that will collide with each other. The use of the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) method on all nodes will overcome the problem of conflicting data, the use of this medhotd is also based on the Time-Sync Protocol for Sensor Networks (TPSN) which is able to make all nodes have the same local time to make it easier to send data. The functional testing results of the root nde, server node, and 3 sensor nodes successfully carry out the functionality properly. Three performance tests were conducted, namely time synchronization accuracy, timeslot scheduling performance, and success ratio in detecting parking vehicles. The results of testing the accuracy of time synchronization with the TPSN protocol obtained time accuracy results of 700-800ms. Test results of timeslot scheduling performance with TDMA method, data can be sent and in accordance with timeslot by 91,6%. And the test results of the success ratio in detecting parking vehicles in 20 trials of 95%.

Abstract

PT Indokretek is a company engaged in the production of spice cigarettes which was established in 2008 and is located in Pagelaran District, Malang. The warehouse management process at PT Indokretek is still carried out by traditional bookkeeping, namely by recording incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse inventory book. There is a risk of losing warehouse inventory data in the event of a work accident. In addition, people in charge are unable to access warehouse inventory information quickly, so delays in procuring goods are possible. Delays in procurement of goods could cause a negative impact on the company's production. Based on these problems, it would be very helpful if an information system could assist the warehouse management process at PT Indokretek. This software development process implements the Waterfall SDLC. A requirements analysis was conducted which resulted in 22 functional requirements and one non-functional requirement. The software is implemented with Lumen PHP framework for the server side app and Vue.js JavaScript framework for the client side app and in accordance to REST architecture. Software testing was conducted using the validation method, which resulted in all test cases matching the software requirements. Testing was also conducted using User Acceptance Testing which resulted in a user acceptance score of 90%.

Abstract

Local Tax Service Agency of Kabupaten Sidoarjo (BPPD Kab. Sidoarjo) in implementing e-government utilizes a website to assist local tax services and disseminate information about local taxes online for the community and taxpayers. The BPPD Kab. Sidoarjo website itself has several usability-related problems, such as navigation redundancy, placement of important information that is not highlighted, and navigation menus that confuse users. Based on these problems, it is necessary to evaluate usability and improve the user interface to use the website. The research approach uses the Human-centered Design (HCD) method used to design user interface improvements and the heuristic evaluation method to find heuristic problems based on 10 heuristic principles. The problems found in the initial design were then improved based on the evaluator's suggestions and HHS guidelines. The initial design found 46 heuristic problems and the solution design found 23 problems. From the comparison of the evaluation results, it can be said that the solution design is able to reduce usability problems and there is an improvement in usability value on the user interface of the BPPD Kab. Sidoarjo website.

Abstract

JPTIIK (Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science Development) is a platform that presents student journals of FILKOM UB. In this platform, journals have not been classified based on the thesis theme which refers to the 2018 FILKOM thesis guidebook, especially for the Information Systems department. From these problems, it was decided to classify topics in the majors of SI, FILKOM, UB based on the title, abstract, and a combination of abstract titles. There are 3 thesis themes used in the classification process, namely development, data and information management, and IS governance and management. The data collected was 300 with a comparison of 125 development, 100 SI governance and management, and 75 management data and information. This classification will compare the K-Nearest Neighbor and Support Vector Machine methods and will compare the classification results based on the title, abstract, and abstract title. Tests with a value of K=9 for the KNN method, a value of C=10 and iteration=50 on the title and abstract, and iteration=150 for the abstract title on SVM got the best accuracy value. The results of the classification based on the title and abstract of the SVM method get the highest accuracy value compared to the KNN method with the classification results in the title getting an accuracy value of 97.08%, precision 97.81%, recall 96.91%, and f-measure 97.11% while for Abstract titles get 97.08% accuracy, 97.93% precision, 96.67% recall, and 97.07% f-measure.
