Abstract

Marching band is an extracurricular where the players are required to work together in a team in order to give a good appearance. The rehearsals require a lot of times with many players. A poor schedule of marching band rehearsal or conflict of schedule between players can cause problems in doing the rehearsals. Data schedule of each player is taken from Marching Band Ekalavya Suara Brawijaya, and national holiday from September 2016 until December 2016. After getting the data, process of genetic algorithm that start from chromosome representation to time and practice day, and then do the process of extended intermediate crossover and reciprocal exchange mutations for new offspring that will be selected by elitism selection for next generation. The optimal schedule is obtained through testing, the largest average fitness score is 1 on the population size 130, the number of generation is 140, and combinations of cr and mr is 0,5.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has changed the habit of the world community about the need to communicate. IoT technology transform the usual device into a device that is more valuable. The lamp is one of the basic needs of modern community as a source of light, that would not be able to be separated from daily activites. The concepts of Smart Home& is one of the development of the &technology in the modern era. The technology of Smart Home makes user easier to do activites where the devices are able to connect one another and simpllify the work. In the line of the development, creating a breakthrough for lamp named Smart Light Bulb. The Smart Light Bulb device has changed the concept of conventional lamp into a lamp that is able& to control the color and intensity of the lamp. In the installation process of the Smart Home might be faced by some difficulties. With Pervasive Device method, the existing problem can be solved and it facilitate the use of Smart Home concept. This research is related to the development os Smart Light Bulb which has been developed previously. In this research the microcontroller component that is used is NodeMcu ESP8266. NodeMcu allows wifi communication so it can be connected to the router. With the device and smartphone, the development of Smart Light Bulb can be implemented. The application is developed in Android device. The feature of the timer in Smart Light Bulb was developed to fine-tune the hardware of Smart Light Bulb. Using the RTC DS 1307 component on the hardware allows timer features to be well developed.The feature was tested 10 times and have the 100% success rate.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is a new curriculum in the Indonesian education system that has been enacted by the government to replace the 2006 curriculum or the Education Unit Level Curriculum. The implementation of this curriculum in recent years has sparked controversy in Indonesian education, students who are demanded more actively, added lessons and other matters that lead to various opinions that develop in the community, especially on Twitter. An estimated 200 million Twitter users post 400 million tweets per day. In this research, sentiment analysis is conducted to find out the developing opinion which is divided into positive opinion or negative opinion. The features and methods used are the ensemble feature and the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) classification method. Ensemble feature is a combined feature, in the form of statistical Bag of Words (BoW) and semantic features (twitter specific, textual features, PoS features, lexicon based features). Based on a series of tests, the combination of features has an impact in improving the accuracy of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method for determining positive or negative opinions. Merging this feature can complement the weaknesses of each feature, so the final result of accuracy gained by combining both features reaches 96%. In contrast to using only features independently, the accuracy achieved only reaches 80% on Bag of Words (BoW) features and 82% on ensemble features without Bag of Words (BoW).

Abstract

Various diseases and pest attacks can cause serious problems to the soybean crop. One threat to the soybean crop development research centers and is the developer of the plant pests. Pests can reduce soybean yields by 80 % even if no serious control. Classification is needed to determine the types of diseases that attack soybean plants. This research use of Soybean Disease Data Set consisting of 266 training data and desktop-based applications to be built by implementing the algorithm Modified K - Nearest Neighbor, the parameter value of K is determined by the system using brute force methods to find the best K value. Each value of K with accuracy the best results will be recorded and used as the parameter value of K in the process of testing new data. K values in this method to define the number of nearest neighbors used for the classification process. The test results showed that the value of the parameter K affects the classification results and the accuracy result. Average accuracy tends to decrease with the addition of the value of k , while increasing the number of training data also accompanied by an increase in the accuracy of the results, for training data with imbalanced class accuracy values decreased with increasing amount of data. The results of the highest accuracy on the test at 100 % with a value of k = 1 and an average accuracy of 5 times the experimental is 98.83 %.

Abstract

The development of E-commerce was rapid, especially in Indonesia. Airyrooms.com was one of the e-commerce engaged in transportation and hospitality that provides online sales services. The analysis was conducted by using several variables in webqual, namely usability, information quality, and service interaction quality with the aim of knowing the value of service quality at Airyrooms.com site from the user's perception by doing a descriptive analysis. Meanwhile, IPA was used as an analysis of conformity analysis, gap analysis, and IPA quadrant. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires and getting the samples of 100 respondents. Descriptive statistical results showed that the variables of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality were among in the categories of high enough to high. The results of IPA quadrant analysis show that the indicators of errors, efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness were in “Keep up the Good Work” quadrant, the indicators of learnability and trusted were in the "Possible Overkill" quadrant, the indicators of the imaged conveyed to the user, appearance, accessibility, relevance, empathy were in the "Lowest Priority" quadrant, the indicators of the ease of use and navigation, satisfaction, and representational were in the "Priorities for Improvements" quadrant. From these results, recommendations for improvements to the indicators in "Lowest Priority" and "Priorities for Improvements" quadrants, so that the indicator was in the “Keep up The Good Work” quadrant

Abstract

Network model architecture that used nowadays are difficult to apply a new protocol because it depends upon vendor, so it appeared a concept that manage network systemperformance through software named Software Defined Network. SDN separating data-plane and control-plane in network devices such as router and switch, so that programming network devices may be done centrally through a controller.A controller manage forwarding table switch which forwarding the flow of communication package.If a controller goes offlinea switch not be able to forwarding the flow of communication package from a device to other devices. So it needs high availabillity controller mechanism to be able to maintain the availability of a controller so the communication package can be arrive. High availability controller can be done by mechanism failover use Heartbeat and DRBD.Testing in this research done with planned downtime methods. The test results that obtained from the average downtime of POX controller when failover process is 23 seconds, and 59,6 seconds when failback process, while Opendaylight controller took time 195 seconds for failover process and 219 seconds for faillback. This method is a good enough, where the more features run in a controller the longer time downtime will produced.

Abstract

Zona Sangangiti Grafika is one of the companies engaged in printing that located in Pekanbaru city. This company provides services to produce various kinds of prints such as books, calendars, banners, and others. However, this company has some problems. On the internal side, the application system that is used has not been integrated between each division that can make difference of data between divisions. Besides, order overdue is also a problem. On the external side, customers are not involved in the system so ordering and monitoring process will be difficult. In this study, an application system is developed with some features that are expected to solve the problem. A web-based system developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This research produces a system that integrates all divisions using a database. In addition, the system also provides messaging features, scheduling, and order monitoring. For scheduling, the system uses one scheduling methods namely shortest job first. This methods used for making the schedule created can handle some of the conditions that may occur. After testing, all features run well without any problems.

Abstract

IFL Malang is an organization which moves on the field social education and accomodate the community in Malang to synergize together to positive change for Malang who has a website with bogger domain.The main purpose of the website is to facilitate readers to get to know more about IFL Malang. IFL Malang was intended to develop an new interface due to several reasons. The first reason is there are still shortcomings in user interface of the website, such as huge amount of information accumulation, less tidy layout, visualization of the image still minimalist and lack of a clear navigation on the website. The second reason is the limited blogger facility for the addition of Donation menu that will be developed in the future. Affordance-based design can offer designs with a theoretical foundation that sees the design components thoroughly and considers functions and users well together and shows not only shows the desired affordances but also unwanted affordances. The results of design improvements with the Affordance-based design method resulted in a new design that not only looked at the positive side but also the negative side of an affordance and strongly reflects the user. Affordances has a good influence on usability testing that is the aspect of effectiveness by generating a percentage of effectiveness 98.14% of the maximum value 100 %, There is no significant processing time so that it can be judged both on the aspect of efficiency and excellent value on all items of user satisfaction.

Abstract

Dogs are one of the most popular pets in the world. Dogs are easily attacked by disease. When the dogs are attacked by disease it will certainly cause certain symptoms. People who keep dogs mostly do not know the various diseases experienced by the dog. Implementation that can know the various diseases of dogs from the data of the symptoms experienced by the dog can be done, so that dog owners and veterinarians can be more easily to know the illness they suffered. In this application applied Dempster-Shafer method because this method was known from one of the same symptoms can be known more than one disease that exists. With this method also can overcome the problems. The accuracy of this system is 85.53% which means the system can run well because the result of the system closely matches the actual field facts.

Abstract

The choice of strategic business locations will affect the success of business activities that will be implemented. While, the people often gets some problems when they are determining the right business potential in the search location. These problems occurred in Malang Regency, when people or investors are determining potentially business areas, they don't have any consideration for the appropriate and profitable locations from existing land resources. For example, they are currently not able to get any informations about the mapping of the business potential digitally (spatial data). To solve these problems, a system that can provide geographic information as well as perform analysis for making decision about recommendations of business potential location is required. That information can be realized by utilizing Geographichs Information System (GIS) technology and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system has been successfully tested using the white-box testing method for unit testing and the result is there are 6 independent-paths from Analisis Kriteria Class, 6 independent-paths from Analisis Alternatif Class, and 14 independent-paths from Ranking Class while the black-box testing method used for validation testing and the result is very good 100% (valid).
