Abstract

Stock is one of investment instrument which is popular because of the high profit potential and risk. These profit potential and risk are caused by fluctuations of the stock price in the stock market. To minimalize the risk, a system which is able to predict closing price of the next day is required. The architecture which is used in this research is multi-layer neural network. This architecture is trained with 2 different training methods, which is backpropagation and genetic algorithm. Both of the methods aim to gain weights of all network's architecture. Backpropagation's parameters which obtained during the research are 4500 iteration and 0.7 learning rate. For genetic algorithm's parameters which obtained during the research are 2000 generations, population size of 200, crossover rate 0.1 and mutation rate 0.9. By using those parameters, average RMSE value which produced using backpropagation algorithm is 0.048006. Meanwhile when using genetic algorithm as a training method, average RMSE value which produced by the network is 0.065205. So in this research, average error value which is produced by using backpropagation training is smaller than using genetic algorithm training method.

Abstract

Google Apps for Education is a suite of apps with real time synergies and collaborations between students, faculty and staff on campus accessible using PC computers, notebooks, tablets and even smartphones. To be able to be enjoy a range of services from Google Apps For Education, a user is required to have a Google Apps For Education account. In the process of registration of a new Google account, a user will always be asked some data related to the user's identity. As a big company that highly values the privacy of users, Google Apps For Education includes a privacy policy that contains about how Google uses data that has been shared by its user and the reason why Google Apps For Education needs to ask some users' private data. The object of this study is to analyze the behavior of users regarding Google Apps For Education. Data collected from users of Google Apps for Education services by 300 respondents. SEM is used as data analysis method with 10 construct variables. The results of this study indicate that the factors that affect the user's intention to use Google Apps for Education is Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use.

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has proven to be a useful tool in many fields. UAV or quadcopter is equipped with a number of sensors and imaging systems that can perform various image-based things. This proves that quadcopter utilization can be allocated for a particular purpose, for example the purpose of reaching the landing mechanism. The landing is a phase that can cause fatal damage to the quadcopter if it does not land in its place. Thus the quadcopter is designed to automatically land on an object in various forms using the douglas-peucker algorithm. First convert the RGB color space to grayscale for easy to detect objects and eliminate noise using blur. Then it detects the edges of the object using canny and proceeds to search for the appropriate contour values ​​to get the edges of the object so that the quadcopter can recognize each object shape from the edge obtained and assisted with the object counting using the douglas-peucker method. Then it will be displayed on a frame that is divided into 9 grids and performs automatic movement according to the grid position until perform autnomous landing. Testing is done by testing the movement of quadcopter to detect object with speed 0,3m / s and 0,5m / s and test landing accuracy with height 125cm, 150cm, 175cm and 200cm. The results show that, at a speed of 0.3 m / s obtained the percentage of accuracy of good object detection is 100% and obtained the best landing percentage accuracy is 83.3% at 125cm altitude.

Abstract

Along with technological developments, smartphones have become a very commonly used device. Smartphones have also been equipped with sensors that can increase the functionality of the device. With the existence of human smartphones as users have gained a lot of conveniences that are not only limited to communication, but also in accessing entertainment. Through smartphone users can access digital entertainment content such as music and movies. But not everyone can enjoy this entertainment, especially users with physical limitations on the hands. With the movement sensor on the smartphone has been developed HEMOCS method to read the head movement that can be used for navigation in applications and with this method can be made an application Entertainment Terminal to meet the needs of entertainment for users. The app provides digital content like music, movies, and tv. With this application, users with physical limitations can access the entertainment. In the implementation of the Entertainment Terminal, application uses HEMOCS as control to obtain valid functionality results with an accuracy of 86%.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) referring to a network that linking various device in the physical world with a variety of different protocols. However, there are limitations in terms of computing and storage because IoT device only use minimum computational and storage components. While cloud is a virtual environment that generally has a big capacity of computing and storage. By integrating cloud and IoT, it is necessary to divert IoT device's computational process and storage towards cloud, so that cloud can resolve the limitations on the IoT device. There are two main issues in the integration, heterogeneity and security. Heterogeneity refers to number range of devices that can communicate with the cloud, so it is necessary to use specific communication protocol so that all devices can be connected to the cloud. Security refers to the validity of the IoT devices that can transmit data to the cloud. From the previous explanation, then this research makes an architecture of IoT cloud platform that use MQTT communication protocol to resolve the problem of heterogeneity. Whereas to ensure the validity of IoT devices that can transmit data, constructed a mechanism to manage IoT device, authentication, and authorization. The performance test results showed, built systems capable of handling the publisher up to 250 publishers in each second.

Prisma learning guidance is one of the learning guidance that is currently growing. Along with the development of a business then the level of service to customers should also be better. Currently in running the business process, LBB Prisma has not had a standard business process. Recording of data is still done manually. The risk of loss of data will increase. Expectation from the chairman of LBB Prima that business processes can run effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this research is to 1) Modeling and simulating business processes on Prisma Student Guidance using BPMN 2) Modeling and simulating recommendations business process using the BPI approach on the Prisma Student Guidance 3) Compare the current business process model and the proposed business process.Research begins with literature studies and data collection through interviews. Next is modeling and simulating current business processes using BPMN, problem analysis, business process improvement analysis using BPI approach, modeling and simulation of proposed business processes and comparison of process simulation results. The results obtained from this research that is 1) Modeling of four business processes that will be improved 2) model Proposed business process using BPI techniques 3) Comparison of current business process simulation results and proposals..

Abstract

PMI is responsible for meeting blood demand from hospitals. The management of the blood storage center has a very important task, to predict the requirement of blood components to minimize the ex less and the lack of blood supply. Blood has only a life span of 35 days since donated. If it is past the time then it can not be used anymore. Excess or lack of blood supply at the site should not occur, because it can affect the number of patients death. In order to reduce the losses that if it occurs, it is necessary to do research that uses the prediction method of blood predict that is implemented in a system. One of them with Support Vector Regression method that is suitable for blood demand forecasting. Implement SVR using normalized min - max data and use RBF kernel function. Based on the test results for the SVR method that has been done, the result of the minimum MAPE value is 3.899% with the parameter value lambda = 10, sigma = 0.5, cLR = 0.01, C = 0.1, epsilon = 0.01, number of data features = 4 and number of iterations of 5000, of the 12 test data used. The resulting MAPE value is <10% and can be categorized as good for predicting the amount of blood demand.

Abstract

Web servers are now an essential part of both developing and newly started companies. Apache is the web application server with the most revenue in the world. Apache, however, has some drawbacks, one of which is that Apache is become slower when serving many requests continuously. One way to improve the performance of Apache web servers is by reverse proxy cahing. Of the many reverese proxy caching, Nginx and Varnish have the highest reputation. To find out the resource management and quality of service revese proxy caching Nginx and Varnish on the Apache web server will be tested by sending a number of requests to the web server. As a result, both servers with reverse proxy caching can outperform the Apache web server without reverse proxy caching on CPU usage and latency in the first 3 tests, whereas on Apache server load testing without reverse proxy caching it provides smaller latecy than Apache servers without revese Proxy cacahing. The comparison between Varnish reverse proxy caching and Nginx paired on the Apache web server, giving the Apache server results with reverse proxy caching Varnish performs better than the Apache server with Nginx reverse proxy caching.

Abstract

Wireless communication is a communication technology that uses electromagnetic waves to transmit signals with close distances and long distances. However, the use of wireless communication modules such as ESP8266 and NRF24l01 for wireless data transmission learning media for beginners who hadware use some microcontroller like Arduino constrained during initial configuration. From the problem it is necessary research about making wireless communication module that is Plug and Play (PnP) when connected with microcontroller like Arduino. In this research use 2 wirelesss communication module that is ESP8266 type E-01 and NRF24l01 and use serial communication (UART) to connect to microntroler like Arduino Uno. There is an ATmega 328P chip or ATtiny85 chip as an intermediary / serial communication control from ESP8266 or NRF24l01 to Arduino Uno acting as a core module. The design of communication module testing ESP8266 and NRF24l01 is done in 3 stages of introduction, selection, and transmission of PnP communication module data. In the introduction phase - the selection of communication module using Triple Handshaking process while in the data transmission phase for communication module ESP8266 using MQTT protocol and communication module NRF24101 using RF24 library to do data transmission. For the introduction phase module / handshaking 1 takes 1.5 while the module selection stage of handshaking 2 and 3 takes 0.2 seconds each time. The results of data transmission from 21 times the delivery of communication module is 100%. It is influenced by the delivery of data delivery delay, for ESP8266 given delay of at least 1.1 seconds while NRF24l01 given delay at least 1 second.

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a strategy in business which coordinates the process internal organization with customer to gain some profit for the company. This research was done in Lotus Asia Tours as one of the companies which one of its activities was sending some promotion to customers. Actually, Lotus Asia Tours had its own different kinds of customer, they are; ordinary customers and big type of customers. The application of CRM Operational method by applying Marketing Automation and Customer Segmentation which had function in sending some promotion to customers based on types of customer themselves which were gotten from the result of segmenting the customers based on data transaction.In segmenting the customers, the researcher used Recency, frequency, Monetary method where the customer's data transaction would be grouped based on the RFM variable by using K-Mean and in order to stipulate the group ratings, the researcher used TOPSIS.The result of the group ratings would be divided into four types of customers, they are; Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. The result of applying this system uses utility system was 66% valid which meant that Lotus Asia Tours was satisfied because of the existence of that information system of marketing automation
