Abstract

The website of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park becomes an influential tourism website for some users, one of which is climber. But 5 climber as well as users still have difficulty understanding the content of this website, because the user interface is still difficult to understand such as the font size is too small, then irregular content, and inconsistent language. So this website is still far from usability aspect. To generate a website with user-understandable interface, a User Centered Design (UCD) approach is used which will involve the user in the development process. There are 5 climbers who became respondents in this research. In this research also use 3 usability aspect that is aspect of effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Aspects of effectiveness and efficiency using user tasks. Full Scale Task Scenario, while the user satisfaction aspect uses PSSUQ questionnaire. These three aspects will be used for evaluation of the website before and after improvement. Comparative results during the evaluation before and after the improvement have increased. On the effectiveness aspect, the percentage of success increased by 4%, the efficiency aspect increased as much as 37.13 seconds, and the user satisfaction aspect increased as much as 37.7%.

Abstract

There is a security hole in message delivery on a middleware where messages are still in plain text, causing data confidentiality to be insecure. Eavesdropping activities will be very easy to do if a security mechanism is not implemented immediately. Based on the problem, implemented end-to-end security mechanism using TLS / SSL and Crypto. The use of security mechanisms not only secures the network, but also affects the performance of the system. The process of encryption and decryption slows down middleware performance. This study focuses on knowing how the impact of TLS / SSL and Crypto security mechanisms, especially AES-256 on data security and middleware performance. Before the security mechanism is implemented, the data contained on the network is very readable. After both security mechanisms are implemented, the data cannot be known again because the contents have been encrypted. TLS / SSL provides stronger security by using certificate exchanges as an authentication system. Both methods installed are capable of securing the system but both affect the performance of middleware. Both security mechanisms have no significant effect on CPU and memory usage. AES-256 produces better values ​​on packet loss parameters, with a value of 1%. While TLS / SSL is superior in parameter delay and jitter, with value 0.089008423 sec and 0.003208877 sec.

Abstract

PT. PJB Unit Gresik using seawater as a steam power plant. Water has advantages such as it is high availability and environmentally friendly. However, seawater requires a refining process in order to be used. Using seawater as a power plant often experiences water-reduction problems caused by certain problems, such a pipeline leakage, tempering, and removal of gases that still contain water so that additional water is required to keep the turbin working. To anticipate the lack of water that can inhibit the process, an intelligent system required to estimate the amount of water that generation process needed. One of forecasting method is Extreme Learning Machine (ELM), to maximize forecasting results with optimization algorithm Ant Colony Optimization that can be used in the optimization input weight and bias of ELM parameters. After optimization process for ELM parameters, then the next process is training and testing to get forecasting result. This study uses 103 data. Based on the research, the optimal parameter number of ants is 40, the parameter range of the input weight is 0 to 1, the using 82 of training data and 21 testing data (80%: 20%), and the maximum iteration is 500. From these parameters obtained the MAPE value for ELM-ACO is 0.170% with 3799.200 ms running time and for the ELM algorithm the MAPE value is 4.851% with 162.400 ms, so the optimization of ELM parameters can improve the forecasting results.

Abstract

Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is a light-weight Internet-of-Things protocol based of topic-based publish-subscribe mechanism that is suitable for constrained devices. MQTT has a security problem in terms of privacy, to ensure client's identity which access MQTT protocol required an authentication and authorization mechanisms, that can be achieved by applying Access Control List (ACLs) to the broker that will govern the rights of client to access certain topic on system, such as publish/subscribe. This research will be conducted to find out about how to implement authorization mechanisms using ACLs on MQTT-based system that use nodeMCU and how it affects the security and performance. This research will be conducted using mosquito-broker that implements auth-plug plugin as authentication and authorization mechanism, the ACLs will be designed on MySQL database and to be accessed by auth-server. Brokers and auth-server will communicate to check the identity and permissions of client, the client's identity will be encoded using JSON Web Token (JWT), and ACLs will be designed based on roles. From the test results, the ACLs managed to secure MQTT protocol-based systems with nodeMCU devices by performing authentication mechanisms using JWT and authorization mechanisms based on client's roles successfully, also successfully handle message with total of 141 each seconds with average time needed to publish each message in the course of 0,7092 seconds.

Abstract

Dinas Cipta Karya and Tata Ruang Kabupaten Malang (DCKTR) is a local service that has a useful website to provide information. There is a problem where the local service has difficulty in improving their website design. This problem has not been resolved in the absence of appropriate inputs and no evaluation to improve the website. An interface evaluation is required to optimize the use of the DCKTR website as media communication and information. To make this happen, DCKTR took the initiative to commit a website evaluation for interface optimization. Evaluation using Human Centered Design approach. The result of the prototyping from the DCKTR input will be compared and evaluate with the current website using a questionnaire and usability test. In addition, This research produces clickable prototype products, as well as recommendations derived from the usability problems of the existing evaluation data analysis.

Abstract

An application to compile rations for cattles' meals was developed by a student of Brawijaya University ini 2015. This application is a web-based application that formulate cattles' meal from two kinds of ingredients, that is forage ingredients and concentrate ingredients, to fulfill the daily nutrition or to increase the weight of a cow. The application that is called SunRan (Susun Ransum) used Yii framework in its development. The developer of the application felt that a development for the mobile version in needed. The need encourages the writer to develop the SunRan on a mobile platform. This mobile version of SunRan uses Ionic framework which has a function for developing applications in hybrid system, which is a ixture of system based on website and native. The operating system used to run SunRan Mobile is Android OS. It's done because this operating system is the most opoular operating system, especiallly in Asia, where there are still a lot of people working on a ranch for cows and goats. Besides being used to compile rations for cow's meal, the writer is also adding a new object that hasn't included in the web-based SunRan before, the object is goat. The tests for this mobile application is done twice to prove if the web-based SunRan can be developed into a mobile-based application with an addition of a new object and an utilization of a different framework.

Abstract

A high drop in rainfall can cause a disaster, so it is necessary to forecast to estimate how much rain will come. One of the main factors causing the flood disaster is the intensity of rainfall is very high, then the rainfall is still very interesting to continue to be studied. in this study made a system that can make forecasting using ANT method backpropagation with Artificial Bee Colony to determine the error rate of rainfall forecasting. In the performance test algorithm of Backpropagation-Bee Colony method showed that the average value of MSE showed the best result at iteration to 1000 that is MSE average of 0,0329. As for testing the accuracy of the 1000th iteration obtained an average MSE of 0.030 in December. The accuracy value in December amounted to 95%.

Abstract

The crime rate in Indonesia is highly increased. A lot of people want to become wealthy in a wrong way by commiting a crime. Criminality is an act that violates the rules of the law that can disturb the public. Every society has a risk of becoming a victim of crime. The greater the risk that the community has, the more unsafe their area is. However, the number of criminal acts cant't be ensured from time to time due to the uncertain number. This causes the police will having a trouble in resolving the criminal acts. A proper and accurate prediction can help minimizing criminal acts that will be happened. This research is intended to get predicted numbers of criminality using Extreme Learning Machine method (ELM). Based on the implementation and testing done by using crime data of Probolinggo District Police in 2012 until 2017, obtained the maximum network architecture that is the number of features as much as 7, the comparison of data ratio is 80%: 20%, and the number of neurons in the hidden layer as much as 7 and the binary sigmoid activation function. The low error value is calculated using the Mean Square Error (MSE) error rate and the result is 0.037662.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a disease that has a soul crack or a splitting of personality. Problems of mental disorder almost in all countries in the world. Schizophrenia has 5 types: Paranoid, Hebephrenic, Catatonic, Unspecified and Simplex.The similarity of symptoms causes the paramedic difficulty to determine the class of Schizophrenia. Therefore, a system that aims to Schizophrenia classification by applying one of the classification method Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN). The system will perform the step by calculating the distance of assymetric binary, the calculation of the validity value and weight voting value in order to get the final result that will be used to determine the classification based on the value of K that has been determined. The testing of this system consist of testing the effect of K value and testing the influence of K-Fold value. The result of testing the effect of K value gives the greatest accuracy equal to 37,045% at K=7 and K-Fold=10. The result of testing the effect of K-Fold value gives the greatest accuracy of 28,4462% at K-Fold=5.

Abstract

The world of robotics is now constantly developing. In Indonesia the government strongly supports the world of robotics with the holding of various kinds of robotics competition which one of them is Indonesia Robot Contest. In the contest there are various kinds of robots that are contested one of which is the Indonesian Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest where the robot must walk in the match arena to find and extinguish the fire. Today many robots use the hexapod or 6 foot robot concept with wall following as the maneuvering algorithm. But with robotic design robot hexapod must do 90 degrees rotation when there is a hitch in the front so need more time. For that required a robot design that can perform maneuvers properly and quickly. So to overcome these problems, in this research do the implementation of wall following algorithm on robot maneuver quadruped omni direction by using fuzzy method for robot decision making. With the design of robot quadruped robot is possible to maneuver in omni direction so that the robot does not need to rotate and get results faster. From the test results obtained robots who perform maneuvers omni direction is faster than the rotating robot maneuvering with the average speed difference of 4.1 seconds. The robot can run and can maneuver well using wall following algorithm and fuzzy logic with 100% success rate.
