Abstract

            Guru merupakan faktor terpenting dalam proses peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Namun, guru sebagai makhluk sosial dan individual dalam kehidupannya sering mengalami hambatan dalam peningkatan kualitas tersebut. Adapun permasalahan yang timbul adalah bagaimana profesionalitas guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, kendala yang dihadapi dalam peningkatan profesionalitas guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan upaya apa saja yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Berpijak dari permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan dari pembahasan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan keprofesionalan guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Arrohmaiyah NW Senyiur Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan beberapa metode yaitu, observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Kemudian data yang telah terkumpul tersebut dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yakni data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata atau gambaran-gambaran dan bukan angka. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan berguna bagi Kepala Sekolah dan Guru di MTs Arrohmaiyah NW Senyiur yang bersangkutan maupun peneliti sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dan penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut, kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam sudah cukup professional, terbukti semua guru memiliki ijazah keguruan, memiliki pengalaman mengajar lebih dari lima tahun, selalu membuat rencana pembelajaran, metode yang digunakan bervariasi, melakukan situasi interaksi yang baik dengan siswa, dan mengadakan evaluasi. Adapun yang menjadi kendala dalam peningkatan profesionalitas guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah padatnya jam mengajar dan tidak adanya minat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi serta kesejahteraan guru kurang memadai. Sedangkan upaya yang dilakukan dalam peningkatan profesionalitas guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah guru selalu menguasai kompetensi, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, kedisiplinan dan pengawasan, rapat dan seminar.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi tidak dapat berkembang dengan baik, bila hanya memfokuskan diri pada pengajaran semata dan tidak memberikan perhatian pada riset dan pengabdian masyarakat. Kenyataan ini dapat dilihat dari lulusan perguruan tinggi yang belum banyak memenuhi standar akademik yang baik, lulusan perguruan tinggi sangat terbatas penguasaan bidang ilmu yang ditekuni, profesionalisme yang rendah, dan kesadaran riset yang terbatas, telah menyebabkan mereka tidak aplicabel dan marketable. Dominasi dharma pendidikan dan pengajaran, mengecilnya riset dan pengabdian masyarakat telah menyebabkan lulusan perguruan tinggi hanya melakukan transfer pengetahuan (transfer of knowledge), sehingga kesadaran riset dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat semakin rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis budaya integritas di Prodi-Prodi di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Dan Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Agama UIN Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tehnik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya integritas di kedua fakultas tersebut tercermin pada: (a) keselarasan antara hati, pikiran, perkataan, dan perbuatan yang baik dan benar, (b) tekad dan kemauan untuk berbuat yang baik dan benar, (c) berpikir positif, arif, dan bijaksana dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsi, dan (d) mematuhi peraturan perundang-undangan, serta menolak korupsi, suap atau gratifikasi.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PORPE (PREDICT, ORGANIZE, REHEARSE, PRACTICE, AND EVALUATE) METHOD TO TEACH READING VIEWED FROM STUDENTS’ SELF-ESTEEM   Alfan Hadi M.Pd alvanshine@ymail.com (Dosen STAI AL-AMIN Gersik Kediri Lombok Barat)   ABSTRACT This article reports a study on the implementation of PORPE method to teach reading at the tenth grade students in the academic year of 2012/2013. The objectives of the research are to find out whether: (1) PORPE method is more effective than Direct Instruction Method to teach reading for the tenth grade students; (2) Students who have high self-esteem have better reading skill than those who have low self-esteem; and (3) there is aninteraction between methods of teaching and students’ self-esteem to teach reading. This study was categorized as an experimental research. The population of the research was the tenth grade students in the academic year of 2012/2013. The sample of this research was taken by using cluster random sampling. The sample of this research was 60 students covering 30 students of experimental class taught using PORPE method and 30 students of control class taught using Direct Instruction Method. The data collection was done by giving self-esteem questionnaire and reading test (post-test) after eight meetings of treatment. The data analysis was done by applying descriptive and inferential statistics (ANOVA and Tukey HSD test) to test the research hypothesis. The findings of this research are: (1) PORPE Method is more effective than Direct Instruction Method to teach reading at the tenth grade students; (2) The students having high self-esteem have better reading skill than those having low self-esteem; and (3) there is an interaction between teaching methods and self-esteem in teaching reading. The effect of teaching methods on students’ reading skill depends on the students’ self-esteem level.   Keywords: reading, PORPE Method, Direct Instruction Method, self-esteem, experimental study.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui Penerapan Pembelajaran Means Eand AnalysisPada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 2 Jombang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dengan guru matematika. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V1 MI Jombang - Jember. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah metode observasi, metode tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah reduksi, pemaparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanyapeningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui Penerapan Pembelajaran Means Eand Analysis yaitu:Kesiapan siswa mengikuti pelajaran pada siklus I 15 siswa (65%) pada siklus II  ada 24  siswa (94%), Keaktifan siswa dalam pelajaran pada siklus I 5 Siswa (24%)pada siklus II ada 15 siswa (60%), Kesanggupan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal 10 siswa (55%) pada siklus II ada 20 siswa (80%), siswa yang memiliki kemampuan memahami masalah penelitian  pada siklus I ada 10  siswa (55%), pada siklus II ada 24 siswa (94%), (b) Siswa yang  memiliki  kemampuan merencanakan pemecahan masalah siklus I ada 8 siswa (45 %) , pada  siklus II ada 20 siswa (80 %), (c) Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan melaksanakan pemecahan masalah pada siklus I ada 15 siswa (65% ), pada siklus II ada 25 siswa (100 % ).Berdasarkan uraian yang telah dikemukan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran means ends analysis dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The study  aimed to find out the students’ communicative ability and how far the students’ improvement in communicative ability after getting the teaching and learning by using the appropriate teachers’ strategy. It was the communicative strategy to solve the problem of how is the communicative ability and how does the communicative strategy improve the communicative ability of the students. The research was designed in  a classroom  action research which was done on three cycles. The practicum was performed in class eight grade 8B of MTs.Yaqin 2 Pemondah which had 34 learners. During the practice the main area  taught was English using useful strategy to help the students in improving their communicative ability. The finding of the study on cycle one was 91.18%, meanwhile the hypothesis acceptance was 75 %. It was also happened on  cycle two and three. According to the gained data on cycle two, the students’ communicative ability reached 97,06%, and 100 % on cycle three. The gaining of the improvement of the students’ communicative ability reached more than 81.18% on cycle one, on cycle two reached up to 87.06%, and on cycle three reached up to 90%. So that the application of the teachers’ strategy in teaching and learning process may increase the students’ communicative ability.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini didasarkan atas permasalahan masih rendahnya keterampilan sosial dan berbicara anak, dan secara umum permasalahan penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana meningkat-kan keterampilan sosial dan berbicara anak melalui penerapan metode bermain peran atau role playing di MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak?” yang dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana kondisi keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara anak sebelum diterapkan metode bermain peran atau role playing di MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak? (2) Bagaimana proses penerapan metode bermain peran atau role playing dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara anak di MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak? (3) Sejauh mana peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara anak MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak setelah diterapkan metode bermain peran atau role playing? dan (4) Kendala-kendala apa yang dialami guru dalam menerapkan metode barmain peran atau role playing?. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara anak di MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak melalui penerapan metode bermain peran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara anak melalui penerapan metode bermain peran. PTK dilakukan dengan tiga siklus, dengan subjek anak-anak kelompok B MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak yang berjumlah 10 anak. Dari hasil pelaksanaan dan observasi yang dilakukan, terjadi peningkatan yang cukup besar terutama pada siklus dua. Disarankan bagi guru agar keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan berbicara lebih dikembangkan lagi, baik dalam pembelajaran, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat membuat penelitian mengenai keterampilan sosial dan berbicara anak melalui metode yang lain. Kata kunci: Bermain peran, keterampilan sosial

Abstract

Pesantren education essentially grows and develops based on religious motivation. The purpose is to streamline broadcasting efforts (da’wah) and practice of Islamic teaching. In its implementation, it undertook the processn of fostering knowledge, attitudes and skills thatbconcern the religious aspect. So the formation of a virtuous man (al akhlaqul karimah)is in line with a consistent religious practice or istiqomah. Therefore , pondok pesantren has to print the true human expert in the field of religion (tafaqquh fiddin, transfer knowledge to society and create good person. From there embedded the formation of good morality is the power of the soul from within that encourages people to do good and prevent bad deeds, enjoin the ma’ruf and prevent the evil. From here the behavior of good behavior (akhlaq al-karimah) which will become the character of his personality. Related to the formationof personality, there is the problem of students who become measurement of success or not about the coaching personality of santri.

Abstract

Innovation and change in education policy discourse that Islam is interesting to be discussed. This regard, the policy of Islamic education as the basis for the development of Islamic education, both substantive and orientatif in any educational institution in Indonesia to follow up by researchers and experts of Islamic education as a result (result) and the foundation and to look for color as well as systematic new direction in education, especially in menyonsong innovation and change in Islamic education. This brief paper seeks to examine more deeply about Islamic education policies that have been actualized in the Constitution and the regulations applicable in Islamic education.

Abstract

Lombok Island, the island in 1000 (one thousand) mosque, which is the place of domicile sasak, which is majority Muslim. Islam is meant here is based on the creed of monotheism, Shari'a and morals, with sincerity, priests and science. Islam is the doctrine of truth that comes from God the Creator, except that there is an act of culture and human behavior. Therefore, Islam and culture are two different sides, and may influence each other. Culture sasak unique and different than the culture of 1,300 -suku tribal cultures that exist in Indonesia. No wonder many kumunitas complaining sasak culture, there is an opinion similar to the culture of Balinese or Javanese tribe, but all including the culture of Indonesia. This report explores the influence of Islam teradap sasak work culture, using descriptive method, so it can be viewed in a straightforward and cultural influences sasak both from the application of Islamic values, cultural traits sasak and the influence of the teachings of Islam to the formation of the work culture. The influence can be negative, such as a misguided understanding of the teachings and values of Islam, the rise of terrorism, Kekeran among fellow citizens, and between religions, but in this article is meant to influence is the nature pesitif that is affecting a culture of co sasak based values of Islam. The problem is there are parties in the name of Islam, but the way, his behavior is wrong, such as terrorism, the Kekeran between Warg and inter-religious, it is not the true teachings of Islam and not the intended human culture. Faith in Islam can grow, can also be reduced, can be strong, very strong, can be weak, very weak, could even disappear alias be hypocritical. It could be any identity as followers of Islam, but the attitude, the nature, behavior and culture, away from the teachings of Islam, such as terrorism and acts of violence. This article could be a solution to the problem at hand, evoke memories of fellow citizens so it stays on the right track according to religious teachings. Provide motivation, innovation and foster creativity work, which has positive influence on the culture of the working people, especially susku sasak, which 22 not only sasak that berdommisili in Lombok, but wherever domiciled, whether as a power Transimigrasi or who are into the workforce in the neighboring country.

Abstract

The family is home education or soialisasi first and foremost is also a basic foundation for the child. Then it is appropriate that parents build communication with her children, because with good communication will affect child development optimally. The purpose of this research is to know the child's learning and motivation to learn the role of family communication against child learning motivation in the Keruak Sub-district Keruak. In this study, researchers used a purposive sampling. As for the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach with qualitative and data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study showed that the level of motivation of a child to learn is still very low. This has resulted in many children only credentials that school, but children do not get a science at all. Low motivation of children in the study because (1) the socio-cultural Factors (2) Factors (3) Economic factors of parent education (4) environmental factors. So to resolve problems that occur in children's learning motivation are low, it is the role of parents is required in order to be able to communicate well with her children including through the involvement of parents in the learning activities in school and in the home and crucially namely provision of learning facilities are mainly guidance and impetus (motivation).
