Abstract

Emesis Gravidarum can be very disturbing activity and impact on the maternal and fetal maternal obstacles. The incidence of emesis gravidarum in the world is 70-80% of the number of pregnant women, one non-pharmacological method that can reduce the intensity of nausea vomiting by cajuput oil. This research purposes to determine whether there is an influence of aromatherapy cajuput oil on emesis gravidarum in the first trimester pregnant women. This research used cross sectional approach. Population in this research is the first trimester pregnant woman which amounted to 17 pregnant women taken by using total sampling. The data were analyzed by univariate analysis with independent variable frequency distribution and dependent and bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon sign rank test. P-value value: 0.000 and alpha 0.005 Statistical test results show that cajuput oil has a significant effect on emesis gravidarum intensity. It can be concluded that there is an effect of Aromatherapy cajuput oil on emesisgravidarum in the first trimester pregnant woman, so it is expected that cajuput oil can be one of alternative non pharmacological method that can help to reduce the intensity of emesis gravidarum. Abstract

Globally, HIV infection (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) were still a problem in the health. East Java Province's case rate is in the top 10, which is 29.70%. The case rate number was still above the national figure of 26.85% until March 2016. Case Rate of East Java Province was in the 10th position but cumulatively the East Java Province is ranked first with 3,292 deaths until March 2016 compared to other provinces. Effort to reduce depression and blood sugar levels through psycho religious of dzikir and shalawat was not carried out much yet. Research aims to explain psycho religious therapy effects towards depression and blood sugar level in Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patients (DM Type 2). This research used experimental method with randomized pre test post test control group design. This research was carried out on DM type 2 patients in Surabaya and they had been selected into two groups, given psycho religious group and control group. Abstract

Background: A geographic tongue is an inflammatory lesion of the tongue accompanied with atrophy formation of papilla or depapilation of the filiform papillae. The geographic tongue usually appears together with the appearance of the fissure tongue, a midline, multiple, fissure on the surface of the tongue that expands from front to back and has various patterns. Predisposing factors of geographic tongue and fissure tongue are nutritional deficiencies and stress. Oral candidiasis is one of the fungal infections that affect the oral mucosa caused by the fungus Candida albicans. Predisposing factors of oral candidiasis e.g. stress, and smoking habits. Case: 64-year-old male patient with a clinical appearance on the dorsum of the tongue in a bracelet-like form with depapilation, vertical fissure 3 mm deep and thick white plaque which could be scraped and felt painful. Diagnosis: geographic tongue, fissure tongue and oral candidiasis. Therapy: aloe vera in oral solution as antiinflammatory and analgesic, Nystatin oral suspension functions as a topical antifungal medicine, multivitamin Becomzet (Vitamin B complex, A, C, E, and Zinc) as a multivitamin. Conclusion: after therapy using aloe vera solution, nystantin becomzet controls both patients had undergone a healing process in both the case of geographic tongue, fissure tongue and oral candidiasis. Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is one of causes in maternal mortality in West Bandung District in 2017 and there are 11 mothers (39.28%) of 28 mortality cases, which is in the highest rank. Moreover, this research aimed at analyzing maternal mortality due to hypertension in pregnancy in West Bandung District. This research was qualitative research by utilizing grounded theory approach with constructivism paradigm. Sample of this research was the closest family and health personnels who knew the cronology of maternal mortality and there were 21 people from 8 mortality cases. The sample collection utilized purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, the instruments of this research were researchers, interview guidance, stationery, and voice recorder. Validity test utilized triangulation technique. Technique of data collection was by in depth interview and the analysis process were by transcription, reduction, coding, categorization, and theme. The result of this research was known that factors, which had contribution against maternal mortality, was such as poor access of health service and it was caused by several things: PONED function that had not been optimal in handling hypertension in pregnancy, poor quality of health service, guidance in handling hypertension in pregnancy that had not been optimal, less optimal information from health service, health personnel’s poor knowledge about hypertension in pregnancy, and delay in referring to hospital. The next factor was unhealthy living behavior, such as mother who had risk of hypertension in pregnancy did not use long-term contraception, underwent quite high failure level in the use of long-term contraception, the mother was a missing patient from the referral, and not sensitive against emergency situation. Besides that, unknown or unexpected factors also became contribution against mortality, such as unclear demographic status; undesirable pregnancy; assuming that dying in pregnancy, having birth, and in postpartum period was martyred. In conclusion, factors that contributed against maternal mortality due to hypertension in pregnancy in West Bandung District were access of health service, healthy living behavior, and unknown even unexpected factors. However, the factors that really impacted against maternal mortality were access of health service and healthy living behavior. Keywords: Maternal mortality, Hypertension in pregnancy

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of health problems in Pasuruan that the number of sufferers was increase. Those problems would not actually happen if the surveillance gose well. The purpose of this study was to describe the problem of DHF surveillance based on attributes as well as provide an alternative solution. This research was a descriptive study with evaluation study design. This study was conducted in 16 Public Health Centers and health office of Pasuruan District. Data were collected through interviews with DHF officers in 16 PHC and health office of Pasuruan District, using questionnaires, and document analysis against DHF data reports. The problems was not simple in feedback, not acceptable in feedback, and not on time in feedback because the feedback only give every 3 months. Data was not representative because data can’t describe population based on time and place. Data was unstable because there were 41.25% respondent that loss of data. Provide personal computers for program officers is needed to keep the data from lost and always available. Motivate the public health centers to form an independent jumantik cadre with funding sources from public health center or sub district for optimal PSN and data reports. Abstract

Back pain is one of the inconveniences which is often experienced by third trimester pregnant women. Around 50-72% of women who suffer lower back pain when they are pregnant, this pain will increase as the gestational age increases. This research aims to identify the effect of birthball training to back pain experienced by third trimester pregnant women at the working area of Kabila Community Health Center in Bone Bolango Districts. This research was included in Quasi experimental which is by one group pretest and posttest design.The data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis uses statistic test t test in two paired samples. The sampling was done by choosing sample that meets the research criteria until a certain period of time until the total samples were fulfilled. The data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The research result obtains that there was a difference of back pain before and after doing birthball training to third trimester pregnant women at the working area of Kabila Community Health Center in Bone Bolango Districts. The advice for Community Health Center party is to improve service quality and prevent back pain to third trimester pregnant women and also makes birthball training as the effort to decrease pregnant women’s inconveniences so that the procedure of fixed birthball training is needed to be applied regularly and monitored. Abstract

Consumption of folic acid intake, B12 and the pattern of menstruation are factors causing the occurrence of anemia, vitamin B12 and folic deficiency often occurs in young women. Deficiency of one or several nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12, folic acid, and vitamin C, which is necessary for the formation of nutrients can cause nutritional anemia. The purpose of study was to know the intake of folic acid intake, Vitamin B12 and menstruation pattern with the incidence of Anemia in young women in Surabaya Junior High School. Research method was cross sectional approach. The study population of all female students who have menstruated in Surabaya Junior High School was taken by simple random sampling. The research instrument was questionnaire by 24-hour Food Recall and FFQ complement data that could not be obtained through 24-hour memory, menstrual pattern questionnaires and hemoglobin results by measuring hemoglobin (HB) by cyanmethemoglobin method. Data analysis was using logistic regression test. The result was 19.007 (p = 0.000; OR = 31.000-; 95 percent CI = 4.002- 240.150), this means there was a significant association between vitamin B12 intake and the incidence of anemia (p < 0.05), and the menstruation pattern was 10.340 (p = 0.001; OR = 4.846-; 95 percent CI = 1.897- 12.379), this means there was a significant relationship between the pattern of menstruation and the incidence of anemia (p < 0.05).
