Abstract

The objectives of the study were (1) to describe the readiness of learning facilities; (2) to know the weakness of learning facilities; and (3) to know ideal learning facilities in implementing curriculum 2013 at state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014. This study shows that (1) the learning facilities of state vocational high schools of east Lombok were good enough. Generally in implementing curriculum 2013, the learning facilities to support the learning practices of state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014 were good enough to support the teaching and learning process. (2) There were some practice media that had not been had by the state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014, such as timing light Diesel, Trainer AC, and Card Stand EFI. It was because the learning tools were so expensive, so that the schools had not been ready to buy those media to support the teaching and learning process. (3) The ideal learning facilities were the facilities that were enough for students ration number.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to knowing: (1) can the application of inquiry learning methods increases learning motivation of measuring tool; and (2) can the application of inquiry learning methods increases learning achievement of measuring tool of Light Vehicle Engineering of Al-Mujahidin NW Kumbung East Lombok.This study included a Classroom Action Research. Subject of This research is Light Vehicle Engineering in 10th class of SMK Al-Mujahidin NW Kumbung which amounts to 18 students. While the object of this research is motivation of learning and achievement of measuring tool subjects. Data collection technique in this study uses the technique of questionnaires and tests. The Istrumen in this study uses the syllabus, lesson plans, questionnaires, tests and observation sheet. And than the data analysis technique uses descriptive and quantitative analysis to determine the percentage of student achievement.The results of this research showed that: (1) the application of inquiry learning methods on measuring tool subject can increases learning motivation, indicated with an average of Students learning motivation in 1st cycle 61.22, on the 2nd cycle 76.33, and on the 3rd cycle 90.17; And (2) the application of inquiry learning methods can increases student learning achievement on measuring tool subjects. this research showed that an increase in the average value of 49.44 in 1st cycle into 78.88 in the 2nd cycle and into 85.55 on the 3rd cycle before the action.

Abstract

This aim of the research to knows: (1) Influence of world works information for being readiness teacher at vocational high school; (2) Influence of engineering knowledge for being readiness teacher at vocational high school; (3) Influence of world works information and engineering knowledge in common for being readiness teacher at vocational high school in students for 5 semester of engineering education FKIP UST for 2016/2017 periods. This research results: (1) There are positive influence and significance of word works information for being readiness teacher at vocational high school in students for 5 semester of engineering education FKIP UST for 2016/2017 periods consists 76,345% relative contributes and effective contribute 27,857%; (2) There are positive influence and significance of word works information for being readiness teacher at vocational high school in students for 5 semester of engineering education FKIP UST for 2016/2017 periods consists relative contribute 23,655%and effective contribute 8,631%; (3) There are positive influence and significance of worldworks information for engineering knowledge in common for being readiness teacher atvocational high school in students for 5 semester of engineering education FKIP UST for2016/2017 periods. The world works information for engineering knowledge in common consist relative contribute 100% and effective contribute 36,5% for being readiness teacher at vocational high school

Abstract

Intention of Class Action Research (PTK)  to improving ability learn ability the student specially at subject draw the technique. This research executed in SMK Penerbangan AAG Adisutjipto year 2013 / 2014 .Research class Action  use Problem Base Learning method (PBL). Problem Base Learning Method (PBL) Research class Action is study process which starting points its study pursuant to internal issue real life, then from this problem is student stimulated to learn the problem pursuant to knowledge and experience which have been owned previously (prior knowledge) so that will be formed by a new experience and knowledge. this Research execution started from idea or literature, seenly is problem that happened the at school later; then determine the research step started from planning, action execution, perception and refleksiResult from this research indicate that the study process by using method of Problem of Base Learning method (PBL) Fox can be behavioral of student so that student more interested, more active and more accurate in course of study and earn increase of average value is overall of student posed at from value result of learning student which go up till 39,73%, interest 65,77%, livelines 55,92% and correctness 59,45

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini ialah mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan secara faktual, akurat dan sistematis tentang 1) Implementasi pedoman penulisan tugas akhir skripsi mahasiswa FT UNY di Jurusan PT. Otomotif dan 2) Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir skripsi mahasiswa PT. Otomotif FT UNYPenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ialah Koordinator tugas akhir skripsi, dosen pembimbing, dan mahasiswa PT. Otomotif FT UNY. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan ialah metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Implementasi pedoman penulisan tugas akhir skripsi di jurusan PT. Otomotif FT UNY dilakukan dengan pembentukan koordinator tugas akhir skripsi, pembagian tahapan-tahapan pengerjaan skripsi yang terdiri dari pengajuan judul, bimbingan, pengambilan data penelitian, dan ujian TAS sampai dengan pengeluaran nilai TAS. Semua dosen PT. Otomotif FT UNY melaksanakan bimbingan tugas akhir skripsi sesuai dengan pedoman penulisan tugas akhir skripsi. Jurusan PT. Otomotif FT UNY juga melakukan bimbingan klasikal bagi mahasiswa yang akan/sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir skripsi, 2) Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir skripsi yaitu kesulitan dalam menemukan permasalahan yang akan diangkat menjadi judul penelitian, mahasiswa fokus mengerjakan proyek akhir (mahasiswa angkatan 2008 ke bawah), fokus laporan KKN PPL, mengulang banyak mata kuliah, tidak rutin bimbingan dengan dosen, kesulitan dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

The design method was found a lot at the time the student will face a final project. Methods of existing designs such as: the method developed Holtzapple; Pahl & Beitz; Nigel Cross; Ibrahim Zeid; Dieter & Schmidt; and many more are choices that are often used in developing the students' final projects. The inconsistency of students in each passing step by step in the design step provides a product which is manifested not in accordance with the preliminary design of the designer and the needs of the market. Therefore, the design method that has a value of 3 E (Economies, Effective, and Efficience) through 7 (seven), namely: (1) analyze the needs of the market; (2) develop structuring issues; (3) gathering information; (4) identify the needs of the designer; (5) develop design concepts; (6) realize the design; and (7) compose the image detail to be done in a systemic, sequence, and structured.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh prestasi menggambar teknik terhadap kesiapan kerja, (2) pengaruh motivasi praktik otomotif terhadap kesiapan kerja, dan (3) pengaruh prestasi menggambar teknik dan motivasi praktek otomotif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Mesin Otomotif SMK Al Munawwarah Cilacap Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan prestasi menggambar teknik (X1) terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y) dengan mengendalikan X2 dan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan tingkat pengaruh motivasi praktik otomotif (X2) terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y) dengan mengendalikan X1. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan regresi ganda dengan dua prediktor menunjukkan bahwa prestasi menggambar teknik dan motivasi praktik otmotif memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Prestasi yang baik memberikan kepercayaan dan semangat yang tinggi untuk menghadapi setiap pekerjaan. Untuk menjadi tenaga ahli dan profesional dalam bidangnya sesuai tuntutan dunia kerja, siswa tidak hanya memiliki prestasi yang baik tetapi juga motivasi. Motivasi yang baik akan mendorong siswa untuk melakukan pekerjaan dengan baik dan penuh dengan rasa tanggung jawab.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of mechanical measuring tools using the discussion method macromedia flash class X students SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Salam Magelang. The data collection technique uses test questions to measure initial capability and tests to measure learning of mechanical measuring instruments. The result of the research shows that (1) The use of macromedia flash discussion method influences the learning result of mechanical measuring instrument from t test with t value (0.000) smaller than t table value (0,025). (2) Based on the result of the test before and after the treatments the average score of learning result of mechanical measuring instrument increased by 10.77 points which was originally 72,01 to 82,78 and all values above KKM (Criteria Completed Minimum). (3) the average value in the treatment class is greater than the control class with the selisis of 6.89 points. It can be concluded that the macromedia flash discussion method can improve the learning outcomes of mechanical measuring instruments

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa selama berlangsungnya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media animasi dan media konvensional. Mata pelajaran yang diteliti adalah mata pelajaran dengan kompetensi dasar memperbaiki sistem kelistrikan. Dalam penelitian ini ingin mengetahui adanya berbedaan antara model pengajaran dengan menggunakan media animasi dengan model pengajaran yang biasa dipakai atau dengan media Konvensional.Penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dengan membandingkan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan media animasi dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan media konvensional. Adapun sebagai subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Secang magelang yang berjumlah 31 orang. Dalam penelitian ini sebelum diberi perlakuan di uji terlebih dulu atau dilakukan treatment dengan menggunakan media konvensional setelah itu dilakukan treatment dengan media animasi dilakukan pengujian lagi. Proses treatment dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, kemudian dihitung mean-nya. Kemudian untuk melihat perbedaannya dilakukan dengan uji-t. Setelah dilakukan pengujian dan analisa diperoleh keterangan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar siswa yang diberi pengajaran dengan menggunakan media animasi dibanding dengan yang menggunakan media konvensional. Perbedaan ini dapat dilihat melalui ketuntasan siswa, nilai rata-rata, mean selama pre-test dan post-test. Pada pengujian dengan statistik t-test juga memiliki perbedaan cukup jauh dan juga Perbandingan nilai thitung siklus 1 = -17.661, siklus 2 = -18,951 dan siklus 3 = -21.657 dengan tingkat sig.(2-tailed) =0,000 dengan df= n-1 = 31-1 = 30 sehingga nilai t tabel =2,042 pada taraf signifikan [α=0,05]. Ternyata semua olahan data ketiga siklus menggunakan SPSS 16 memiliki nilai thitung < ttabel sehingga dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prestasi yang signifikan penggunaan media animasi dibanding pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the difference of learning outcomes between students taught using PBL and direct teaching method, high and low motivation, high and low creativity; (2) the effect of interaction between learning method, motivation and creativity on learning outcomes; (3) the difference of learning outcomes between students taught using PBL and direct teaching method in terms of motivation and creativity. This is quasy-experimental research with a factorial design. Data were analysed statiscally using Anava and t-test. The result shows that: (1) there was difference of learning outcomes between students taught using PBL and direct teaching method; (2) there was no difference of learning outcomes between students who have high and low motivation; (3) there was difference of learning outcomes between students who have high and low creativity; (4) there was interaction effect between learning method and motivation on learning outcomes; (5) there was interaction effect between learning method and creativity on learning outcomes; (6) there was difference of learning outcomes between students taught using PBL and direct teaching method in term of motivation; (7) there was difference of learning outcomes between students taught using PBL and direct teaching method in term of creativity.
