Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini ialah mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan secara faktual, akurat dan sistematis tentang 1) Manajemen teaching factory di SMK St. Mikael Surakarta dan 2) Faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan teaching factory di SMK St. Mikael Surakarta.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ialah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru/Karyawan SMK St. Mikael Surakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket, dan observasi.. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan ialah metode analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pelaksanaan teaching factory di SMK St. Mikael Surakarta melalui perencanaan dengan pembuatan rencana jangka panjang, menengah, dan pendek, pelaksanaan dengan mengintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum sehingga melibatkan semua siswa, serta pengawasan dengan melakukan koordinasi rutin dan form penilaian untuk semua siswa, karyawan, dan guru. 2) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan teaching factory di SMK St. Mikael Surakarta ialah budaya atau kultur yang baik, sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten dibidangnya, dan fasilitas peralatan yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya ialah: belum adanya ruang atau bangunan khusus untuk unit produksi dan belum adanya karyawan yang khusus mengelola unit produksi

Abstract

Otomotif dan 2) Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir skripsi mahasiswa PT. Otomotif FT UNYPenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ialah Koordinator tugas akhir skripsi, dosen pembimbing, dan mahasiswa PT. Otomotif FT UNY. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan ialah metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Implementasi pedoman penulisan tugas akhir skripsi di jurusan PT. Otomotif FT UNY dilakukan dengan pembentukan koordinator tugas akhir skripsi, pembagian tahapan-tahapan pengerjaan skripsi yang terdiri dari pengajuan judul, bimbingan, pengambilan data penelitian, dan ujian TAS sampai dengan pengeluaran nilai TAS. Semua dosen PT. Otomotif FT UNY melaksanakan bimbingan tugas akhir skripsi sesuai dengan pedoman penulisan tugas akhir skripsi. Jurusan PT. Otomotif FT UNY juga melakukan bimbingan klasikal bagi mahasiswa yang akan/sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir skripsi, 2) Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir skripsi yaitu kesulitan dalam menemukan permasalahan yang akan diangkat menjadi judul penelitian, mahasiswa fokus mengerjakan proyek akhir (mahasiswa angkatan 2008 ke bawah), fokus laporan KKN PPL, mengulang banyak mata kuliah, tidak rutin bimbingan dengan dosen, kesulitan dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

The aims of the study are to identify and describe a factual, accurate and systematic about 1)Implementation of teaching factory, and 2) The inhibiting and facilitating factors of itsimplementation at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelang.The study used a descriptive approach. The object of study were the Principal andTeachers/Employees at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelang. The data were collectedthrough interviews and observations. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method.The results showed that 1) The teaching factory at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelangalready works quite well because it has the organizational structure, human resources, financialmanagement, equipments, learning, and good cooperation networks, as well as product qualityand acceptable society, 2) Implementation of teaching factory at SMK Muhammadiyah 2Borobudur Magelang not optimal in terms of the involvement of educators in teaching factoryworkshop and suitability of existing skills programs in schools with activities undertaken in theteaching factory program. 3) Factors facilitating the implementation of the teaching factory atSMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelang are: Principal who are experienced and have apassion to develop a teaching factory, teaching factory manager who has a lot of experience forserving in the Department of Industry and Trade of the City of Magelang, the commitment ofemployees, facilities and equipment adequate, and the availability of human resources who havethe competence network in accordance with the work being done. 4) While the inhibiting factorsare: teaching factory building ever collapsed because of Merapi disaster and lack of support fromthe government or bureaucracy.Keywords: Teaching Factory, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur MagelangPENDAHULUANSeperti

Abstract

Creative thinking is consistently approved as a crucial competency for people to productively learn and succeed in this globalization and competition era. This article discusses the definition, major factors, and processes of creative thinking, and analyzes its improvement strategies. Furthermore, a curriculum infusion was proposed as an effective strategy to improve individual’s creative thinking in the universities, especially for teachers’ education program. The process of creative thinking curriculum infusion’s development consists of the following steps: (1) development of the creative thinking curriculum objectives, contents, and teaching strategies (2) selection of the existing courses to integrate creative thinking contents, and (3) implementation of creative thinking curriculum infusion model. This article finally suggests universities which provide teachers’ education program to extensively (1) integrate creative thinking contents into regular courses offered in the universities, (2) implement various creative thinking improvement strategies to deliver creative thinking contents, and (3) utilize a creative thinking self-assessment scale to measure students’ creative thinking. Moreover, a creative thinking curriculum infusion model as the recommended methods to improve learners’ creative thinking should be implemented to attain its empirical validation.

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the condition of inputs, processes, products on the implementation of Rural Entrepreneurship/City Entrepreneurship KWD/KWK, and to obtain information about the program KWD / KWK in helping to solve the unemployment problem through the activity of entrepreneurship in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study is categorized as program evaluation research. The research uses survey as the research method. The Evaluation approach uses CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product), and the Kirkpatrick evaluation model, which includes 4 levels of evaluation, namely the reaction, learning, behavior and result. The results of the evaluation described descriptively. The research is conducted in Yogyakarta. The technique of collecting data uses interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed with descriptive interpretive techniques. The results illustrate that based on the conditions of context, input and output execution process KWD/KWK generally meets the criteria set by the specified standard, so the quality requirements proposed in the guidelines for the implementation can still be used. Refers to the demands of a set that is 80% of participants are able to get a job or perform entrepreneurial work, the program KWD/new KWK still reaches 74% of participants. However, KWK/KWD is generally considered as a good program to tackle unemployment, it has improved the standard of living of the participants into 34.53%, increase productivity into 64.24%, and increased entrepreneurial attitude into 75%. While detention to perform self- employment can be identified by the participants come from themselves is 60.86%.

Abstract

Abstract

The increasing population of motorbikes has an impact on fuel needs and the resulting increase in exhaust emissions. The electrolyzer has an effect on fuel consumption and gasoline exhaust of a modified 4-stroke motorbike. This research is experimental research, starting with designing and making the tools to be studied, then conducting research. As a result, there was a decrease in fuel consumption of 31.36% at 2000 RPM rotation, 8.73% at 4000 RPM engine speed, and 15.48% at 6000 RPM rotation. While exhausting emissions, there was a decrease in CO of 47.37%, an increase in h22o of 24.37%, and a decrease in HC of 45.11% at 2000 RPM rotation. The 4000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 89.11%, CO2 increased by 35.48%, and HC decreased by 36.98%. The 6000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 41.67%, CO2 increased by 17.26% and HC decreased by 6.92%. Semakin banyak populasi sepeda motor berdampak pada kebutuhan bahan bakar dan meningkatnya emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Elektroliser berpengaruh pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan gas buang sepeda motor 4 langkah modifikasi injeksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimulai dengan merancang dan membuat alat yang akan diteliti, kemudian dilakukan penelitian. Hasilnya, terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 31.36% pada putaran 2000 RPM, 8.73% pada putaran mesin 4000 RPM dan 15.48% pada putaran 6000 RPM. Sedangkan emisi gas buang, terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 47.37%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 24.37% dan penurunan HC sebesar 45.11% pada putaran 2000 RPM. Putaran 4000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 89.11%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 35.48%, dan penurunan HC sebesar 36.98%. Putaran 6000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 41.67%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 17.26% dan penurunan HC sebesar 6.92%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi desain dan analisis dari silinder teleskopik hidrolik yang digunakan pada mesin press hidrolik mobile, yang memfokuskan pada peningkatan mobilitas dan efisiensi operasional. Melalui penerapan Analisis Elemen Hingga (FEA), studi ini mengidentifikasi parameter kritis seperti tegangan, regangan, dan faktor keamanan dalam kondisi operasional yang beragam. Penelitian ini mendemonstrasikan bagaimana desain teleskopik dapat mengatasi tantangan khusus dalam operasi mesin press hidrolik, termasuk peningkatan jangkauan operasi dan penyesuaian terhadap beban kerja yang dinamis. Dari analisis yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa silinder mengalami tegangan maksimum 599,51 MPa dan regangan maksimum 0,0030939 mm/mm di bagian tengah, yang menyarankan adanya kebutuhan untuk modifikasi desain atau peningkatan material untuk meningkatkan keandalan dan durabilitas. Sementara itu, faktor keamanan yang tinggi di sebagian besar area menunjukkan bahwa desain keseluruhan memiliki keandalan yang baik. Studi ini memberikan wawasan yang bermanfaat bagi insinyur dan desainer mesin dalam mengoptimalkan desain silinder hidrolik teleskopik dan menyarankan area-area penelitian yang dapat dijelajahi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, seperti penggunaan material inovatif dan teknik manufaktur canggih. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk memandu pengembangan mesin press hidrolik mobile yang lebih efisien dan adaptif dalam menghadapi kebutuhan industri modern.

Abstract

The efficiency of fuel consumption in motorcycles is determined by multiple factors, such as the type of oil and fuel utilized. The careful choice of these two elements is essential for enhancing engine performance and reducing operational expenses. This study examines the impact of various oil and fuel types on the fuel consumption of the Honda Vario 125 cc ESP FI motorcycle, with particular attention to the relationship between engine oil viscosity and fuel quality. The study involved conducting experiments with a range of engine oil combinations, specifically 10W-30 and 20W-40, alongside different fuels like Pertalite and Pertamax, each exhibiting distinct octane ratings and combustion properties. The methodology included systematic and thorough testing in controlled environments, where factors like distance and load were standardized to guarantee precision and consistency. The results indicated clear variations in fuel efficiency among the tested combinations. The application of 10W-30 oil in conjunction with Pertalite fuel resulted in a 0.76% enhancement in efficiency when compared to the use of 20W-40 oil with the same fuel type. In a comparable analysis, 10W-30 oil demonstrated a 3.87% increase in efficiency over 20W-40 oil when used with Pertamax fuel. In the analysis of fuel types, Pertamax demonstrated a 16% increase in efficiency compared to Pertalite when used with 10W-30 oil, and a 12.52% increase in efficiency with 20W-40 oil. The results highlight the benefits associated with the utilization of high-quality, low-viscosity oils and higher-octane fuels in achieving improved fuel economy. In summary, the most effective combination for achieving fuel efficiency and cost savings is the use of 10W-30 oil alongside Pertamax fuel. This pairing is advised for Honda Vario 125 cc ESP FI users aiming for improved performance and lower fuel costs.

Abstract

Efficiency in the vehicle maintenance process is a major concern considering that it can have an impact on saving time, improving accuracy and minimizing operational costs. The use of innovative tools is expected to increase efficiency in the vehicle maintenance process. The current manual lubricant filling process proves to be time-consuming, requires extra labor, and is prone to inconsistency, which can lead to bearing damage. This research focuses on the design and manufacture of a lubricant filling tool for wheel hub bearings on Hino Series vehicles, which aims to improve maintenance efficiency at Hino Mitra Pratama Mobilindo Solo. The tool is designed using the ADDIE model, which includes needs analysis, design, development, and testing stages. The tool consists of a frame, arm holder, lubricator housing, and pressure plate, all of which are designed to ensure proper lubrication and minimize contamination. Tests show that the tool significantly reduces lubricant filling time, with a 418% increase in efficiency compared to the manual method. It also delivers more consistent results, improving work efficiency and productivity.
