Abstract

Quality consistency in small-scale bread production within SMEs is often challenged by process variability, which affects efficiency and product standards. This study aims to analyze process capability and quality control in bread production using the six sigma approach. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, utilizing production and defect data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews during the period of January – December 2025.Process performance was evaluated using defect per million opportunities (DPMO), sigma level analysis, p-control charts, pareto diagrams, and cause-and-effect (fishbone) diagrams. The result indicate a defect rate of 2.36%, with a DPMO value of 7.870 and sigma level of 3.93, suggesting that the process operates at a moderate capability level and has not yet reached optimal six sigma standar. The most dominant defect include under-expanded bread, burnt products, and non-standard shapes, with primary causes related to human and method factors. Improvement recommendations focus on standardizing fermentation processes, controlling baking temperature and time, and enhancing operator skills through training, with a targeted reduction of defect rates to below 2% and an increase in sigma level toward >4.These findings provide practical implications for SME-scale bread industries in improving product quality consistency , reducing process variability, and strengthening business competitiveness through data-driven quality control implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Marketing Public Relations (MPR) in the digitalization of public information services and its implications for public trust at PT Pertamina (Persero). This research employs a qualitative approach using a document-based case study design. The data consist of 25 selected documents, including official company reports, PPID Pertamina website content, and credible online media such as Kompas.com and CNBC Indonesia, published between 2020 and 2025. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis through systematic stages of data reduction, coding, categorization, and interpretation. The findings reveal that the implementation of digital public information services is manifested in three key dimensions: information transparency, service responsiveness, and communication interactivity. These dimensions are operationalized through features such as open access to public documents, structured digital information request systems, and two-way communication mechanisms via online platforms. The analysis further indicates that these practices contribute to the formation of digital engagement, which mediates the relationship between digital communication practices and the development of organizational credibility and public trust. Unlike previous studies that predominantly focus on social media as the primary communication channel, this study highlights digital public information services as an integral component of Marketing Public Relations. This study contributes to the literature by positioning public information services not merely as an administrative function, but as a strategic communication instrument in building organization–public relationships. However, the study is limited by its reliance on secondary data and does not directly capture public perceptions.

Abstract

PT Solutravel Jelajah Dunia (TravelKif) is a tour operator company that has provided travel packages to Europe since 2016. Amid increasing competition in the tourism industry and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, TravelKif has successfully maintained customer loyalty through the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This study aims to analyze the CRM strategy implemented by TravelKif in maintaining customer loyalty using the IDIC model (Identify, Differentiate, Interact, Customize) proposed by Peppers and Rogers. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research participants consisted of internal company representatives and TravelKif customers. The findings reveal that TravelKif has implemented all stages of the IDIC model in its CRM strategy. The identification stage was carried out through customer data collection and interaction history, differentiation was based on customer needs and loyalty, interaction was conducted through personal and continuous communication, while customization was implemented through personalized travel services based on customer preferences. The study found that the interaction stage was the most dominant factor in maintaining customer loyalty, as it fostered emotional engagement and long-term relationships. These findings indicate that a relationship-based CRM approach can serve as an effective strategy for tourism companies in maintaining customer loyalty amid industry competition and changing post-pandemic consumer behavior.

Abstract

Current consumer behavior shows that shopping activities are no longer solely focused on fulfilling needs, but are also related to the experiences consumers gain while being in a particular place. This condition requires shopping center managers to create an atmosphere that supports visitors’ comfort and attractiveness. This study aims to examine the influence of store atmosphere on consumer satisfaction at Mal Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya and to identify the most dominant dimensions. This study employed a quantitative approach through a survey distributed to 100 respondents selected using incidental sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that store atmosphere had a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction, with a contribution of 81.8% to the variation in consumer satisfaction. The external and general interior dimensions contributed more dominantly than the other dimensions in shaping consumer satisfaction. These findings confirm that store atmosphere plays a strong role in increasing consumer satisfaction, so atmosphere and environmental conditions should become major considerations in shopping center management strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on impulsive purchases, with emotional marketing as a mediating variable, among students in Pontianak who shop via TikTok Live. A quantitative method with an explanatory design was applied. Primary data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to 150 students selected through purposive sampling based on having shopped online, being exposed to emotional marketing, and being at least 17 years old. Data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings reveal that FOMO has a positive and significant impact on impulsive buying. FOMO also has a positive and significant impact on emotional marketing. Furthermore, emotional marketing was found to have a positive and significant influence on impulsive buying. Sobel test results confirm that emotional marketing significantly mediates the influence of FOMO on impulsive buying. These findings suggest that the increase in impulsive purchasing behavior among students in Pontianak on TikTok Live is more influenced by the fear of missing out on trends, which is amplified through emotional marketing strategies such as urgency, exclusivity, and social validation. This study suggests that businesses need to effectively adopt and implement emotional marketing strategies to amplify FOMO's impact on consumers' spontaneous purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Indonesian healthcare sector is progressing rapidly, but hospital app usage lags behind the health aggregator platforms. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing user satisfaction and its impact on continuance intention and purchase intention for Medical Check-Up (MCU) services. By integrating the UTAUT and DeLone & McLean IS Success models, data was collected from 206 respondents who used the MySiloam and MIKA apps in the Greater Jakarta area, and was analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The results show that information quality, ease of use, service quality, and social influence are significant predictors of user satisfaction. Conversely, technical aspects such as system quality and facility conditions did not have a significant effect, indicating a hygiene factor phenomenon. User satisfaction proved to be a crucial full mediator in driving continuance intention and purchase intention. Continuance intention also acts as mediator for satisfaction to influence purchase intention. For managerial implications, hospitals are advised to reorient investments from technical infrastructure to strengthening medical content, ease of use, and service responsiveness to create a satisfaction-centered patient experience for long-term business sustainability.

Abstract

The high open unemployment rate in East Kalimantan Province reflects the structural imbalance of the labour market. This study aims to analyse the effect of the Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Minimum Wage, Average Years of Schooling (AYS), and Economic Growth on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) across regencies and cities in East Kalimantan Province. This study uses panel data from 10 regencies and cities over the period 2017 to 2025, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of East Kalimantan Province. The data were analysed using panel data regression with the Common Effect Model (CEM) as the selected estimation approach, based on the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. The results indicate that LFPR has a positive and significant effect on OUR; Minimum Wage has a negative and significant effect on OUR; AYS has a positive and significant effect on OUR; and Economic Growth has a negative and significant effect on OUR. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the four independent variables explain 64.84% of the variation in OUR in East Kalimantan. These findings suggest that labour market policies must address the mismatch between education output and industry demand, and that inclusive economic growth is essential for reducing open unemployment in resource-dependent regions.

Abstract

The gig economy phenomenon has increased work pressure among Generation Z ShopeeFood drivers, making work-life balance and burnout important factors affecting performance. This study aims to analyze the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between work-life balance, burnout, and the performance of Generation Z ShopeeFood drivers in Semarang City. A quantitative approach was employed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from 137 respondents. The results indicate that work-life balance and burnout have a significant positive effect on both job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction also has a significant positive effect on performance and mediates the relationship between work-life balance, burnout, and performance. These findings suggest that the performance of Generation Z ShopeeFood drivers is influenced both directly by work-life balance and burnout and indirectly through job satisfaction. Therefore, maintaining work-life balance, managing work pressure, and improving job satisfaction are important factors in enhancing driver performance.
