Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship of Tri N (Niteni, Niroake, and Nambahake) in developing students' creativity in SBdP batik jumputan. This research employed descriptive qualitative approach. It describes the implementation of Tri N at SDN 3 Taskombang. The data were collected by applying observation and reviewing documeny. The data were analized by applying Milles and Huberman techniques. It comprises data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The result shows that through the implementation of Tri N, students become more creative and are able to produce innovative works that can be used for daily life.

Abstract

Passive sentences are often used in Indonesian sentences. The use of Indonesian passive sentences is considered more polite and more refined. Passive sentences are related to politeness in language. The more you understand about the passive voice, the more polite the sentences will be. Etymologically or the origin of the word, syntax comes from two Greek words, namely sun which means "with" and tattein which means "to place". Judging from the two words, etymologically, syntax means placing words into groups of words, phrases or sentences. An essay is the result of a person's series of activities in expressing his ideas or thoughts through written language that can be read by others. There are several types of essays, namely scientific essays, semi- scientific essays, descriptive essays, expositional essays, and narrative essays. The purpose of writing this research is to describe the level of use of passive sentences in Indonesian in an essay by 5th grade elementary school students. This research is related to writing a narrative essay. Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research data is in the form of student essays and the source of research data is essays from elementary students and the object of this research is the use of passive sentences. The results of the research on the form of passive sentences in students' essays contained passive sentences with the prefix di- and the prefix ter-, namely accompanied and paid off. In the essays by elementary school students, the researcher concluded that the most dominant type of passive sentence used was the prefix di-.

Abstract

Building the students characteristics is one of the goals of national education of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of democratic parenting of parents and teacher personality to the characteristics of the third grade elementary school students in the Kartini Cluster, Purworejo District. This research is a quantitative research that uses the regression method. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded: 1) There are a positive and significance effects between democratic parenting of parents to the students characteristics. 2) There are a positive and significance effects between the teacher personality to the student characteristics. 3) There are a positive and significance effects between the democratic parenting of parents and the teacher personality to the students characteristics. This proved that there are a positive and significance effects of the three research variables, namely democratic parenting of parents, teacher personality, and students characteristic.

Abstract

Character is the nature of a person in the form of character, psychological traits, personality, character and behavior in everyday life. Instilling character values ​​is very important to be instilled from an early age. School is one of the right places in instilling character values ​​for children. Routine activities to form student character values ​​are needed with daily, weekly and occasional activities. Implementing an environmental care system, schools can accustom students to care for their surroundings and always maintain cleanliness. As for the purpose of the formation of this article, it is hoped that the character values ​​of students are truly embedded with environmental care that is implemented in schools through picket programs in class, placing trash cans on each side of the school, as well as joint tree planting activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which collects data from existing journal articles, then analyzes them, and then draws conclusions.

Abstract

This researcher aims to produce (1) validation results for powerpoint media products which in terms of media, material and language obtained an average of 88.9% in the "Very Valid" category (2) Results of one-to-one trials conducted with three students obtained good responses. (3) The results of the small group trial conducted on 20 students and obtained a score of 96.3% in the "Very Practical" category. This PowerPoint media has been developed based on its benefits and uses. Based on the results of the potential effect trial, powerpoint can be used by educators because the research results have shown valid, practical, and effective potential criteria. This product can be used in material for movement and human organs in class V science learning at SD Negeri 136 Palembang.

Abstract

: Social Studies is one of the subjects taught in primary and secondary schools which has a very important role in helping students think critically, logically, creatively, innovatively, solve problems, have character, and become themselves, noble persons in society. The goal of social learning itself is to make humans good citizens who are aware of the laws and norms in society. This study is a literature study that analyzes and reviews the results of previous subject-specific studies. This type of research uses a literature review approach where the data analysis process places more emphasis on making comparisons between several scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Scramble learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes in three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The Scramble learning model is a learning model that demands a high concentration of attention from students and improves students' thinking skills. Thus it can be concluded that the Scramble learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the social studies subject of ethnic and cultural diversity.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the creative thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN Sampangan 02 on the theme of ecosystems. This research method is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject in this study were 6 fifth grade students at SDN Sampangan 02. They consisted of 2 initial ability categories. The data collection technique in this study was a test technic in the from of student learning evaluation sheetsand interviews with students and clas teachers. The result of the study a low that: student with high-level thinking skills are able to reach the 3rt level creative catefory. They are able to fulfill indicators of fluency and flexibility. The solve the questions correclty and according to what the teacher teaches; 2) as for students with moderate initial abilities with the level 1 creative thinking level, they are only able to meet fluency indicators. They solve problems correct based on their own understanding; 3) students who have low initial ability do not show indicators of fluency, flexibility, and novelty so that they fall into the cotegory of creative thinking at level 0 (not creative). They can’t get the question right.

Abstract

There is no use of media in the early reading learning of grade 1 students of SD Negeri Serut Baru, even though media is one of the external factors that can improve early reading skills. This study aims to describe the development of Peta Harta Karun media for early reading learning, describe the feasibility of Peta Harta Karun media for early reading learning, and describe students' responses to using Peta Harta Karun media for early reading learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation steps. The data are collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The result of this study is a Peta Harta Karun media for early reading learning in grade 1 elementary school students. Peta Harta Karun media is very feasible for early reading learning with a percentage of media validation of 98.75%, material validation of 97.25%, and teacher response of 100%. Students have responded positively to the Peta Harta Karun media. The students are interested and enthusiastic about Peta Harta Karun's media, so they are motivated to read well and correctly.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes through the Quantum Teaching learning model for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Gedongtengen, Yogyakarta.  This research subject were class fifth grade totaling 26 students. This research is Classroom Action Research with the research model from Kemmis and Taggart, the process of implementing class action includes: the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection technique used documentation techniques, observation techniques, and test techniques. The instruments used are test questions and observation sheets. The validity of the items was tested with SPSS 25 software, product moment correlation in cycle I obtained 23 valid questions, 7 items failed and while in cycle II, 24 items were valid, 6 items failed. Instrument reliability with SPSS 25 KR-20 software, cycle I item items obtained a reliability coefficient value of 0.876, and cycle II item items obtained a reliability coefficient value of 0.942. The results show that the Quantum model of teaching can improve science learning outcome TANDUR implemented with this steps; growing through by giving apperception, doing through direct experience, labelling through doing some exercises, demonstrate through presenting, repeat frequently through question and answer, and celebrating by giving songs and reward. The results of pre-action research showed that students' learning outcomes in science were low. The average value of the new class reached 61.1, while the percentage of completeness was 15.4%. After learning using the Quantum Teaching model which varied various learning methods in cycle I, the class average score increased to 63.71, while the percentage of completeness increased to 50%. Likewise, after improving Quantum Teaching learning in cycle I, which was accompanied by encouragement from researchers and guidance in groups to actively ask questions, provide feedback, strengthen, and distribute groups evenly in cycle II actions, further improving the science learning outcomes of class VA students. The class average value increased to 83.49, while the percentage of completeness increased to 84.6%.

Abstract

This study descriptively aims to determine the role of teachers in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy in grade IV SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to find out the supporting factors of the teacher's roles in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy in grade IV SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Yogyakarta, to discover inhibiting factors of teacher's role in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy in grade IV SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Yogyakarta, and to perceive solutions made by teachers as in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy in grade IV SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Yogyakarta. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The primary data sources in this study are principals and grade IV teachers of SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Yogyakarta. The researcher uses observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. This research instrument is a guideline for observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps conducted by the researcher are testing the validity of the data using triangulation of sources, techniques, time, and using reference materials. Data analysis techniques in this study utilize Miles & Huberman's analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show that; (1) the role of teachers in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy is very important, because teachers as educators, guides, motivators, provide direction in case students are wrong and teachers play an important role as role models in terms of providing positive examples of refraction for students; (2) as in supporting factors, there are self-motivation, adequate school facilities, infrastructure, positive school habituation and culture, a comfortable environment, the quality of teacher competence, collaboration between school residents, parents, and the community in providing examples of positive attitudes and habituation to students; (3) inhibiting factors are the absence of positive habituation in students in the family environment, lack of support from parents, family background and poor community environment; (4) the solution made by teachers in overcoming problems in the implementation of student character education through Leadership Trilogy are that teachers provide an understanding of the importance of character education, always establish good communication and coordination with parents, provide good examples and habituation to students, become a place of consultation for students, always provide enthusiasm and motivation to students.
