Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and effectiveness of Canva application-based audio-visual learning media in the context of Thematic learning. This research uses the R&D method using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, in this study, only the Development stage is carried out because the goal is only limited to developing and producing learning media that are feasible to be implemented, based on assessments and suggestions from validators. The output of this research is a product in the form of learning media and articles that will be published in accredited national journals. TKT in this study is 1.

Abstract

This research describes the role played by the principal at SDN Air Gegas Muara Beliti in cultivating PHBS in students. Using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SDN Air Gegas Muara Beliti. The methods and data sources used were interviews and observations with the principal, homeroom teacher for class V, and students in class V as primary data, while documentation activities became secondary data. Using technical triangulation to check data reliability. Data is analyzed through data collection, data presentation, and making conclusions. The results of the study are 1) School principals use internal meetings to provide direction and guidance to teachers so that they always socialize the importance of PHBS to students. 2) students carry out joint cleaning outside the class 1-2 pickets once a week on Saturdays and carry out good cooperation between related parties or institutions that can have an impact on PHBS activities. 3) students carry out routine gymnastics on Fridays, and students carry out immunizations along with health counseling from the puskesmas. 4) provide direction and guidance to students regarding PHBS and provide an evaluation of each PHBS activity carried out. The leadership role includes setting a good example in actualizing PHBS to students, making positive PHBS-themed activities, and carrying out promotive, preventive, and repressive actions. Then as supervisor, the principal carries out the task of controlling and evaluating each PHBS activity, directing and guiding teachers and students regarding PHBS, motivating in growing PHBS, and building good cooperation among stakeholders and the surrounding community.

Abstract

This study aims to, (1) develop products in the form of interactive PPT-based learning media on social studies learning on the material of Dutch colonization in Indonesia grade V SD Negeri Bangunharjo Sewon Bantul, and (2) test the feasibility of interactive PPT-based learning media on social studies learning in grade V students of SD Negeri Bangunharjo Sewon Bantul.The research method used is the development research method (Research & Development or R&D) which consists of 6 stages, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, design revision, and limited trial. In the sample of this study, researchers took grade V students totaling 6 people. Data collection techniques using documentation, semi-structured interviews, and observation. Validation of Interactive PPT learning media is given to two validators, namely material and media experts to determine the validity of the products developed. Student response questionnaires were given to students to determine the quality of Interactive PPT-based learning media. The data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) Interactive PPT-based learning media for grade V social studies content on the material of Dutch colonization in Indonesia has an Interactive PPT-based learning media development process (2) Interactive PPT-based learning media teaching materials obtained a feasibility percentage of 84% material experts with very feasible criteria, while from media experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 92% with very feasible criteria. Student responses from the limited trial obtained a percentage of 95.33% with very feasible criteria. So, it can be concluded that Interactive PPT-based learning media on grade V social studies content is very feasible to use as teaching material in the learning process, and is very well used during the learning process.

Abstract

Workaholic Parent is a condition where both parents prioritize their work. Indeed, the work is also done to meet the needs of children and families. But besides, that there is something to note is the development of children. A child does not only need satisfaction in the financial field alone. But a child needs attention and encouragement, especially from a mother figure. In this study, the authors will explore the impact of workaholic parents on the moral development of children. In Indonesia today it becomes a problem that must be addressed immediately so that the nation's next generation is not morally deteriorated. In this study, the authors used quality methods or journal reviews. The source that the author took comes from an article, in a trusted journal It is true that work is a priority among the community. However, it must be evaluated immediately through parenting activities for parents about the urgency of love and attention that parents should give to their children. in addition, there needs to be planting awareness that there needs to be a quality time selection to be given to children. In such a way, it is expected that the level of satisfaction felt by the child to spend time with parents so that at the time of moral development process can be passed well.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an experimental type that aims to describe: 1) the extent of students' speaking skills in class IV SD Negeri 1 Kadipiro using the PST learning model. 2) the extent to which students' speaking skills in class IV SD Negeri 1 Kadipiro use the NHT learning model. 3) differences in the speaking ability of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kadipiro between using the PST learning model and the NHT learning model. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of performance for the pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, equivalence test, normality and homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study showed that descriptively the speaking skills of the experimental group students using the PST learning model obtained an average of 84.68 which was included in the high category, while the speaking skills of the control group students using the NHT learning model obtained an average of 78.36 which included in the high category. Comparatively there are differences in the speaking skills of the experimental class students using the PST learning model and the control class students using the NHT learning model seen from the different average scores. Learning using the PST learning model is higher than the NHT learning model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by animated video on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The research method used a quantitative experiment with a Quasi-Experimental design (Non-Equivalent Control Group Design). The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Kupang 01. The research sample was class VA as the experimental class while class VB was the control class. Data collection techniques with test techniques through pretest and posttest and non-test techniques include observation, documentation, unstructured interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed: There is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by animated video on students' mathematical critical thinking skills, with the results of a simple linear regression test showing a significant value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media, describe the feasibility of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media, and describe student responses to literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media in grade IV science learning at SD Negeri Gunung Agung. This type of research is Research and Development adapting the development method by Sugiyono. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media contain material summaries, experimental activities, quizzes, and rewards and punishments that make it easier for students to understand the material, literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media is very feasible to use based on the assessment of media experts with a score of 95%, material experts with a score of 92.5%, and class teachers with a score of 96.25%, and get a positive response from students with scores of 93% on limited tests and 92.5%  on the main test.

Abstract

The research aims to describe: 1) the type of error that students do when solving HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions and, 2) causes errors that students do when against HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions in Kanisius Sang Timur Yogyakarta fourth grade elementary school student. This is qualitative descriptive research. The subject is Kanisius Sang Timur Yogyakarta fourth grade elementary school students. Miles and Huberman applied data analysis. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and test. The instruments study is HOTS question form of the descriptive amount four number of questions, interview guide for teachers and students, documentation, and observation guide. The tendency for error is in three parts. Concept error as much as 37,81%, operation error as much as 41,66%, and principle error as much as 30,76%. Conceptual errors that student do is not able to translate the question, and cannot use units according to two-Dimentional figures. Operational errors are, not carrying out calculations according to the proper settlement procedure, and the written final result is wrong. Principle error that is wrong in writing the formula, conclusion, and wrong placement of numbers according to the formula. Two factors are causing the error. An internal factor that is students are too hasty to solve the question so less careful in the process of solving the question and do not enough understand of the material of the two-dimension figure. An external factor is the impact of covid-19 pandemic, an environment that does not support the student learning process, and a lack of communication tool availability.

Abstract

This study aims to identify what learning styles are being used by Class Va students and to find out the impact of thematic learning on student learning styles during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo. This research method is qualitative with a cross-sectional survey approach. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The variables in this study were the student's learning styles in thematic learning of Class VA. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity techniques used in this study are source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are that there are three types of student learning styles in class VA based on the results of the observation survey, namely Visual learning styles 66.67%, Auditory learning styles having a percentage of 14.28%, and Kinesthetic learning styles with a percentage of 19.04%. With the large percentage contained in the diagram above, it can be seen that the common learning style of Class VA SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo students is Visual Learning Style and with the large amount of material contained in thematic learning, students prefer to pay attention to the teacher who is thematically explaining their learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the geoboard-assisted discovery learning model on problem-solving abilities. This type of research is an experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of Gondoriyo State Elementary School, then the research sample was class IVA and IVB of Negeri Gondoriyo Elementary School. Data collection techniques consisted of a pretest and posttest while non-technique tests consisted of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression test, and independent sample t-test. The result showed that there was an effect of using the geoboard-assisted discovery learning model on problem-solving abilities, evidenced by a significance level of 0,022 < 0,05 using the test simple linear regression.
