Abstract

             Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sokorini 1 Muntilan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 tersebut.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sokorini 1 Muntilan yang terdiri dari 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan tes. Uji coba instrumen yang dipakai adalah uji coba angket motivasi belajar siswa dan uji coba tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata angket motivasi belajar siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 42,03 meningkat menjadi 57,39 pada siklus I dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 68,94. Sedangkan dari hasil observasi pada prasiklus adalah 37,87% meningkat menjadi 53,03% pada siklus I dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 60,22% pada siklus II. Prestasi belajar siswa juga meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus sebesar 61,6, jumlah ini meningkat pada siklus I dengan rata-rata menjadi 74,74 dan meningkat dengan rata-rata menjadi 80,22 pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstract

Descriptively, this study aims to know tendension of Teacher’s Skill in Teaching, Infrastructure, Environmental Learning, and Learning Outcomes in Taman Muda Kota Elementary School. Correlational determination to know the effect of Teacher’s Skill in Teaching, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Learning Environment toward Mathematics Learning Outcomes of 5th Yogyakarta Academic Year 2015/2016 partially and simultaneously. Population and sample of this research are the 5th grade students, total 25 students. The data collection technique using questionnaires and tests. A test instrument using validity and reliability test. Test test instruments used validity, level of difficulty, different power, and reliability testing using. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) The tendency of learning results is high related to the average score of 15.48 is in the interval X> 15.33; 2) The tendency of Teachers’ Teaching Skill is high related to an average score of 85.28, is in the interval X> 78; 3) The tendency of Facilities And Infrastructure is high related to the average score of 52.24 is in the interval X> 48; 4) The tendency of the Learning Environment is high related to the average score of 86.04, is in the interval X> 78. 5) There are a positive and significant impact of Teacher’s Teaching Skill toward Mathematics Learning Outcomes with R = 0.718 and significance value 0.000; 6) There are a positive and significant impact of Facilities and Infrastucture toward Mathematics Learning Outcomes R = 0.635 and significance value 0.001; 7) There are a positive and significant impact of the Learning Environment toward Learning Outcomes Mathematics with R = 0.770 and significance value 0.000; 8) There are a positive and significant impact Teacher’s Teaching Skill, Facilities and Infrastucture and Learning Environment toward Learning Mathematics Outcomes with F count = 18, 515, R = 0.852, R2 = 0.726, significant value 0.000 and SE = 72 , 6%.

Abstract

 Games are awarded to learners should be tailored to the characteristics of the growth rate of learners, this will facilitate the learners in doing akativitas motion. Learning to add to the enrichment of motion in children carried out in the form of the game. Interesting and exciting games for learning in primary schools one of which is the game botanggalah. This research is the development of procedures to cover include; analysis of the product to be developed, develop initial product, expert validation, field trials that include testing small group and large group test, product revision, and the results of product development. Botanggalah game is a game of handball modification using holahop goal. Botanggalah game is a simple game made by learners, the benefits of the game are able to provide botanggalah physical health, increased enrichment of motion, agility and dexterity to train elementary school students. Through his hopes botanggalah game can be one of the solutions to the activities undertaken in relation to the learning process. The desired expectations at least: 1) to increase the interest of students towards learning materials penjasorkes, 2) can be a solution to overcome the boredom of students in learning, which is still relatively monotonous.

Abstract

 Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the improving of learning activities of PKn by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) among the sixth grade students of state elementary school 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen. The research methodology was by using action research with collaborative style and it was done in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 23 students of State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI in even semester and it consists of 11 male students and 12 female students. The object of this research was the students learning activities in Civic Education Material by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning Style. This research used Kemmis and MC Taggart Style. The steps were planning, realization, observation, and reflection. The technique of the data collection in this research was done by using observation sheets and documentation. The technique of data analysis was the observation sheets which were observed during the learning process from the beginning till the end of the class and it was done with percentage in each indicator. The finding of the research show that after applying this Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning Style in State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI, learning activities has improved. It is indicated by the improving in the average percentage of student active learning in its cycle. It is indicated in the cycle I is 65,5% and it has improved in the cycle 2 become 81,8%. By this, it can be concluded that this classroom action research can improve the Civic Education learning activities of State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI because it has completed success indicators, i.e. 75% of success indicator.

Abstract

Education must be able to accommodate towards to all those differences, and must provide all the students need as well encouraging them to actively participate in the learning process. The teaching process in class is still not giving the best support towards each student’s need. Most teachers still have a mindset that all students must have the same ability and has no clue how to probe the students need. The teaching process that’s been given are usually seem monotone and still using the teacher centered procedure, this procedure will hampering the critical thinking of students. I will share about the implementation from one of learning model which is differentiating instruction. This model can accommodate diversity students based on different readiness levels, interests and learning profile.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to improve motivation and science learning achievement to the IV grade students of Sumberadi 1 Elementary School using lift the flap medium. The design of this research is “Cl assroom Action Research”, with two cycles, which consist of 4 levels in each cycle. These levels are planning, field visit, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research is the IV grade students of Sumberadi 1 Elementary School which is 32 students. The data collecting technique in this research is observation, questionnaire, test, field notes, and documentation. The result showed that after the aplication of learning to use lift the flap medium to the IV grade students motivation and science learning achievement could improved. The persentage of motivation is 59,98% in previous cycle could improve 76,53% in first cycle and the second cycle improve to 85,41%. The average of the previous cycle improved from 62,06 to 73,63 in first cycle and in the second cycle was improved become 79,94. In conclusion, using lift the flap medium could improve motivation and science learning achievement to the IV grade students of Sumberadi 1 Elementary School.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to compare mathematics learning achievement of students with Mind Mapping learning methods and mathematics achievement of students with direct instruction methods. This research is a quantitative study using an experimental method. This study population is the class V SDN Jiwan 01. The sample consists of two classes, namely class V A total of 30 students by Mind Mapping learning methods and class V B as many as 29 students by direct instruction method. Data taken using the test method. Data analysis using t test. The results of data analysis showed that the average value of the class by direct instruction methods is 53.611 while the average grade by Mind Mapping learning methods is 62.121. Results of t-test showed that the achievement tobs= 2,449 with a significance level of 5% and dk=68 obtained ttabel = 1,645. tobs > ttabel. This means that H0 is rejected. Thus the working hypothesis proposed by the researchers rejected. So student achievement taught using Mind Mapping method of learning is better than learning achievement of students who are taught by the direct instruction method.

Abstract

The aim of this study is (1) to determine the students self efficacies with Special Needs in inclusive schools; (2) to find out what are the factors that must be considered in improving self-confidence (Self Efficacy) in special needs students in inclusive school. This research using qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collected by techniques such as triangulation. Triangulation means of data collection techniques are combining of various data collection techniques and sources of existing data that includes observation, interviews, and documentation. While the steps of data analysis in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research is Self-confidence (self-efficacy) of students with special needs in SD Negeri Karanganyar quite good. Only 4 aspects of the 10 aspects of self-confidence (self-efficacy) of students with special needs that need to be improved. While the six other aspects are good. All six aspects of self-confidence of students with special needs that need to be maintained is the aspect of the perception of students with special needs will be its ability, readiness in learning, attitudes or reactions to novelty, diligent efforts in completing the task, the ability to produce work (productivity), and the ability to self-regulate. While these four aspects are still lacking is knowledge of learning, mastery of skills in certain competencies, creative ability to solve problems (inguenity), and the ability to face the threat (threat). Factors to consider in improving self-confidence (self-efficacy) students with disabilities in inclusive schools is the availability of space assessment, special assistant teacher availability, systems management class inclusion, and skills of classroom teachers to guide and direct students with special needs in an effort to optimize their potential.

Abstract

Karawitan is one of the performances that has developed and been culturally entrenched in the areas of Indonesia, especially in Java, and even it has developed in foreign countries. Karawitan is a medium generated from some elements of the gamelan instruments covering  sound aesthetics and presentation aesthetics. The unity of the musical elements in karawitan constitutes a paradigm for the manifestation of life, nature, and the environment. The social function of presenting a gendhing in Javanese karawitan is the method applied by society, ranging from the religious characters and aspects, families, to individuals.Karawitan can be narrowed down as a medium of education, which can be seen from the viewpoint of how to play it; karawitan becomes a musical presentation enoyable to listen to when played together. This reflects that togetherness is one thing that is very important to achieve quality music (musical arrangement). This also means moral education in order that we live in togetherness through cooperation, tolerance, empathy, self-adjustment, well-founded dispute not unfounded dispute, and avoidance of selfishness and being individualistic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to know (1) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning, (2) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using expository, and (3) the difference of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning and expository. The type of this study was quasi experiment. Data collection techniques used documentation and test. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Z test that was started by homogeneity variance and normality test. This study shows that (1) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning was in medium category with the mean sore 22.404 in the interval 21.35723.452. (2) The category of learning achievement of social science subject by using expository was in medium category with the mean score 20.451 in the interval 19.310  21.593. (3) Based on the analysis, the score of Zc = 4.73661 > Zt =1.65. It means that there was a positive and significant difference of learning achievement of social science subject by using contextual teaching and learning and expository.
