Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) aims to describe improvement skill of recounting observation result through giving reward and punishment method at fifth grade students of SD Negeri Plakaran, Bantul. PTK is using a model and MC Taggart Kemmis cycle model. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection analysis. The experiment was conducted in the first semester with the subject of the study consists of 24 students. Data collection method in this research use tests, observation and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques are used to analyze quantitative and qualitative descriptive test results are used to analyze the results of observation. Results of research conducted shows that the average value of the results of a test of skill telling observations could increase after the action. In pratindakan, the average value obtained 64.16 students with enough category increased to 72.39 with enough categories in cycle I. In the second cycle increased to 81.64 with both categories. The percentage of minimum completeness criteria (KKM) obtained the students also increased, in preaction percentage reached 25%, in the first cycle increased by 54.17% and in the second cycle increased by 83.33%. It shows that the giving reward and punishment method have a positive effect, can improve the recounting skill observation result through giving reward and punishment method at fifth grade students of SD Negeri Plakaran, Bantul academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The great experience we’ve gained from the history of the struggle of our nation. From history we can know and understand how big a difference, antagonism, and exchange of ideas is able to deliver us to the threshold of independence. With the great ideas of the leaders, Indonsia nation can understand the importance of unity. With united without thinking about differences, Indonesian people are able to overcome the various occupation. The spirit of unity is strengthened by threshold the nation’s independence. From identity, the identity of the Indonesian nation is getting stronger in the eyes of the world. Therefore, the spirit of nationalism younger generation at this time need to be cultivated again so as not to eroded the advance technology. Rapid technological progress could fade nationalism. To fortify this understanding of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, manners should be encouraged further, especially in education. Education should put forward the noble values of national culture. The noble values of the nation’s cultural or known by the local moral values is able to counteract the erosion of nationalism younger generation of the swift effect of globalization. The values of local wisdom wisdom in this is the embodiment of the ideals of a nation that is balanced, both physically and mentally. Local knowledge acts as a filter for the values come from outside, local knowledge can also be used to dampen the shocks that are internal. For instance conflicts that tribe or tribal community. Enterprises to disseminate the great value in a particular culture will be formally an appreciation and a sense of pride in those values. With the pride of the young generation will emerge a strong passion for applying them in public life.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKAbstract : This study aimed to the development strategy of character education in elementary Brajan Poor Bantul through extracurricular dance of the school year 2015/2016 , 152 student population , a sample class III , IV , and V, as well as an extracurricular dance teacher . Data collection technique; observation , interviews , documentation . The data is processed through the test requirements analysis , increase endurance, triangulation , reference material , were analyzed with the data collection , data reduction, a data display, and conclusion drawing. Strategy through the alignment of dance music and movement, gave a downbeat count, communicating the moral values synopsis of dance, as well as the interaction of teachers and students ; the role of teachers to develop character education as a facilitator , motivator , innovator ; barriers teacher of teachers themselves , facilities and infrastructure , students , and the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe improve the activity and learning achievement of mathematics solve story question using a cooperative learning model in five grade students of State Primery School ofPleret Kidul Panjatan. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects were students in five grade students of State Primery School of Pleret Kidul Panjatan, the number of students 23 people. The object of this study was the increase in activity and learning achievement of solving story questions using of cooperative learning model. Data collection technique used tests to obtain data on student achievement, observation to obtain data on student activity and documentation to strengthen data have been obtained from observation and learning outcomes. Learning achievement data analysis techniques performed by calculating the average value of students who meet KKM observation and analysis of the activity is done by calculating the percentage of aspects of the activity of each student. The validity of the item using the product moment, the reliability problem by using KR-20. The results showed an increase in activity and learning achievement of students. This can be demonstrated by an increase in average pratindakan student activity by 42% and after a given action first cycle increased to 72%. Then the second cycle the average activity of students increased significantly to 88%. Mathematics learning achievement of students also increased, namely on pratindakan there are 8 students or 35% of students have met KKM with an average value of 59. In the first cycle increased with an average value of 69, there were 13 students or 57% of students have met the KKM. In the second cycle a significant increase, the number of students who meet KKM as many as 17 students or 74% of students with an average value of 76. Thus, teachers are advised to apply the model of cooperative learning as an alternative to improve the activity and learning achievement of students.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify trends in mathematics achievement of students of class III SD N Koagede 3 Yogyakarta academic year 2014/2015. The population in this study were all students of class III SD N Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta consisting of four classes with a random sampling technique. Test the validity of the instrument items, level of difficulty, different power and reliability. Prerequisite test used test for normality of distribution and homogeneity of variance test data analysis using correlated t test. Comparatively no positive effect on the use of student worksheets grade mathematics achievement SD N Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta academic year 2014/2015 t -4,457 < -t -1,713 table. Thus the method can improve the students' worksheets grade math achievement SD Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta academic year 2014/2015.

Abstract

 Abstract: The purposes of this research are to describe increasing the activity and achievement of learning mathematics with Cooperative type Jigsaw learning of III grade student of SD Negeri Seneng Wonosari Gunungkidul 2014/2015. Type of this research is classroom action research (CAR). The subject in this researchare  IIIgrade of SD Negeri Seneng Wonosari, consist of 24 students and object this research areactivity and achievement of learning mathematics with Cooperative type Jigsaw learning of III grade student.Technique data collection are observation, tests, and documentation.The percentage of students who reach the KKM on pracycle of 41,6%, on a cycle I was increased to 45,8%, on cycle II increase to 75%. The average value of score for questionnaire sheet is for pracycle the activity of study 2,94 students increase to 3,01 and increase in cycle 2 is3,32. Based on the results of the researsch, it was concluded that the use of metode Cooperative type Jigsaw learning can increase the activity and achievement studied mathematics ofIII grade  student of  SD Negeri Seneng Wonosari.

Abstract

This study aimed to know: (1) The implementation of democratic values, (2) Proponent and  obstacle  factors,  and  (3) The  solution  to  cover  barrier  to  the  implementation  of  democratic values through civics education. The type of this study was a descriptive and qualitative research. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique were conducted by reducing, interpreting, and concluding the data. The result of the research shows (1) The implementation of democratic values is done by entering the democratic values in syllabus and lesson plan include tolerance, cooperation, freedom of opinion, mutual respect and confidence. (2) The proponent factors are learning facilities, school culture and school leadership. The obstacle factors arethe decreas of parents proponent, in the circle of society, and difference of person. (3) The solutions areconscious from parents to have pay attention their children, community involvement, and establish good communication with students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference score students’ social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, and tolerance) among students who attend the lecture course learning methods and simulation methods that the lecture method.This research is a quasi experimentation with pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all students of class 2012 PGSD UPY. Sampel selected by random sampling technique to determine the experimental class. Data obtained by questionnaire with Likert scale and observation sheet to collect data about students’ social skills. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) and a significance test with α = 0.05. From this study showed that there are significant differences on social skills among students who attend lectures with simulation methods and the students who attend the lecture by lecture method. Social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, and tolerance) students of the experimental class (class using simulation method) higher than the social skills of students in the control class (classes using lecture method) because the simulation method is more interactive, centered on the student, cooperative and creative. Class teaching methodology using simulation method is more effective in improving students’ social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, tolerance) compared with the lecture method.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning motivation in social science through Jigsaw cooperative learning model to fourth grade students of SDN Jabres, Sruweng subdistrict, Kebumen district.This research is a classroom action research undertaken collaboratively. Design of this study  using model of Kemmis and Taggart consisting of 3 cycles. Subject in this study were fourth  grade students of SDN Jabres, Sruweng subdistrict, Kebumen district total of 32 students  consisting of 14 male students and 18 female students. Data was collected by questionnaires,  observations and field notes. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistic and Qualitative data using flow model. The result showed that after application of the Jigsaw method of learning can improve  learning motivation in social science. It was marked by an increased percentage of the  average number of learning motivation in pre action there was 19%, in the first cycle 53%, in  the second cycle 78% and 94% in the third cycle. Based on the results of research conducted,  researcher advises schools or teachers can improve the students’ motivation and apply the  Jigsaw model on learning.

Abstract

 Abstract: The purpose of this research was describe about process skills approach used to improve learning process and science achievement students of class VI SDN Giricahyo, Gunungkidul. This research used Classroom Action Research and implemented in two cycle. Data collection techniques using observation, testing, and documentation. Learning process result 67,09% in cycle I, increased 80,10% in second. The precentage of learning outcomes in precycle was 35,71%, increased 64,29% in first cycle and increased 78,57% in the second. So, it can be included that process skill approach can improve learning process and science achievement.
