Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the characteristics of accession of Bengal grass that grows in the city of Jambi. The research was conducted in two stages, namely the field observation stage to obtain qualitative data and quantitative data related to the characteristics of Bengal grass. The results of the observation phase were validated to obtain four accessions that had the same morphological characteristics. There were four accessions which were then planted in polybags in a greenhouse, namely Tlp1, Dns2, Jlt1 and Ktb2 as treatments with repeated 10 times. The design used was a completely randomized design. The parameters observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, internode length, number of internodes, stem circumference and leaf color. The results showed that the Jlt1 accession was an accession that had different characteristics (P <0.05) compared to other accessions.

Abstract

Sanitation facilities are needed in public places that have the potential for disease transmission, one of which is in Islamic Boarding Schools. Based on the results of a survey at the Ainul Yaqin Islamic Education Foundation, it was found that sanitation facilities did not meet health requirements. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of sanitation facilities in the Ainul Yaqin Islamic Education Foundation Dormitory, Lebak Village, Bandung District, Jelutung District, Jambi City. This type of research is descriptive research with an observational approach and research subjects are all sanitation facilities in the dormitory of the Islamic Education Foundation of Pondok Pesantren Ainul Yaqin, Lebak Village, Bandung District, Jelutung District, Jambi City. The results of the study describe the sanitation facilities at the Ainul Yaqin Islamic Education Foundation, showing that the clean water supply facilities in the dormitories meet the requirements, the waste management facilities in the dormitories do not meet the requirements, the human waste disposal facilities in the dormitories meet the requirements, the waste water disposal facilities in the dormitories do not meet the requirements. the requirements and the total score of the overall sanitation facility inspection form did not meet the requirements with a total score of 1398. It was concluded that the sanitation facilities in the dormitory of the Islamic Education Foundation of the Ainul Yaqin Islamic Boarding School in Lebak Bandung Village, Jelutung District, Jambi City did not meet the requirements, it is better to supervise, repair and clean sanitation facilities properly routine.

Abstract

The level of availability of water in Bandar Lampung cannot be separated from changes in land cover conditions in Bandar Lampung which are very dynamic. Thus, in order to analyze the availability of water for supporting the resilience city, it is necessary to project the land cover of the city of Bandar Lampung. In this study, the analysis used is spatial analysis and analysis of the coefficient ecosystem services (KJE) for the provision of water. Spatial analysis is used as the basis for all input and output processes to process land cover and ecoregion data through an overlay process. In identifying environmental services providing of water, the first step is to map the land cover and ecoregion conditions in Bandar Lampung. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that in the period 2010 to 2021 the land cover of Bandar Lampung experienced land changes and experienced water is deficit in 2021, as well as the projection results in 2031 where the water availability of Bandar Lampung is dominated by low class and very low.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of legal programs and draft laws carried out by the Law and Legislation sub-section in the Ponorogo DPRD. Legislation is a written law that is formed through authorized officials and authorized parties and is realized in written form that must be obeyed by the community. In law and legislation there is a norm that serves as a guide for the community to carry out life and behavior within the state. In government institutions, especially DPRD has a sub-section which is tasked with managing legislation and implementing a regulatory system according to the guidelines in every government activity and activity. The legal and statutory department in the DPRD has the task of carrying out the implementation of laws and regulations as well as researching the formulation of laws and regulations by conducting legal studies and providing legal assistance to parties in need supported by publishing and documenting legal products within the institution.

Abstract

Companies tend to have the main focus on seeking maximum profits to attract potential investors. Companies that have the ability to earn profits and have good corporate value can be considered by potential investors in investing. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between profitability and firm value on stock trading volume partially and simultaneously. The sample taken for this study revealed 28 companies from companies listed on LQ45 in the 2017–2020 time span, respectively. This research uses several analyses such as descriptive analysis, linear regression interpretation, classical assumption test, f-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination with the help of the SPSS program. The results obtained are profitability does not affect stock trading volume, firm value has a significant effect on stock trading volume, and simultaneously profitability with firm value has a significant effect on stock trading volume.

Abstract

The world of education is expected to prepare human resources who can solve problems, are critical and innovative. The activeness of students has an important role in the service marketing learning process so that it can stimulate critical thinking. Project-based learning model is more effective in improving students' critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of applying a project-based learning model with a case-solving method in developing critical thinking skills in students who teach service marketing courses. The research method used is descriptive as an evaluation stage. Descriptive analysis is used to describe as an evaluation with critical thinking skills qualifications for students who take courses in service marketing. The project-based learning model in service marketing courses using the case method can improve students' ability to think critically, this condition is very much needed in today's uncertain conditions. Consumer behavior towards services is always changing, where business people and academics are required to be able to think critically in order to innovate to meet consumer needs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance with innovative work behavior as a mediating variable for employees of the Investment and One Stop Service Office of Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method, and the data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population is 47 employees of the State Civil Apparatus and Honorary Employees of the Investment and One Stop Service Office of Muaro Jambi Regency. Technical Data Analysis using Partial Least Sguare (PLS). The results of the study found that (1) transformational leadership affects employee performance, (2) work motivation affects employee performance, (3) transformational leadership affects innovative work behavior, (4) work motivation affects innovative work behavior, (5) leadership Transformational effect on employee performance is mediated by innovative work behavior and (6) work motivation affects employee performance mediated by innovative work behavior. The suggestions in this study are that in order to apply Transformational Leadership in an organization, it is necessary to pay attention to the way leaders communicate with their subordinates and improve good relations with subordinates. And it is also suggested to the Education and Training Center to include Transformational Leadership material in Leadership Training III and IV.

Abstract

Divorce is not the end of a household life, but divorce is the beginning of new problems in domestic life, for couples who live it, this is an obligation for the parties of the couple who live a life full of problems that will be accounted for, one of which is divorce. in Merlung village this is a problem that will be discussed here relating to divorce which is carried out outside the court, this has an impact on the lives of each party, where here it is demanded the rights and obligations of the husband who decides the divorce, will be responsible for his children and wife, as well as common property. If the divorce is carried out outside this court, it is feared that all of these rights cannot be carried out properly and perfectly, where the rights that are obligations are difficult to implement, because they do not have legal force that binds them, so that these rights cannot be implemented properly. with other rights.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of the teaching commitment of honorary teachers in economics at Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti Jambi, to analyze the teaching commitment of honorary teachers in economics at Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti Jambi high school. The teacher's teaching commitment must be considered when the teaching and learning process occurs online or face-to-face. One way to see whether a teacher is committed or not in a school can be seen from the compensation provided by the school, it can be seen from the performance made, and it can even be seen from the teacher's presence when teaching. It is necessary to increase the teaching commitment of teachers in schools to see student progress and to see students' abilities while learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study were all honorary teachers who teach Economics at Titian Teras High School, totaling 2 people. Data collection is done through Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers on honorary teachers in economics at SMA Negeri Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti Jambi, it can be said that they are committed because seen from their daily work, honorary teachers in economics subjects should be able to increase their teaching commitment.

Abstract

The role of science and technology in all sectors, including education, is now well established. STIKes Syedza Saintika has a comprehensive library and various visiting activities, however at present moment, student visits are still manually documented in the library's visitor book, which takes time to fill out and is still reviewed on a regular basis while performing a summary of the visit. Of course, a manual method is prone to mistakes, but a technology-based library guest book system employing a QR Code is not. Based on the aforementioned issues, a library visitor book system utilizing a QR Code is required, which is projected to reduce mistakes and give ease to students and librarians in processing library visit data. A System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) design is used in this investigation. This study develops a QR Code-based guest book information system for library visits, which aids students and librarians in handling guest book data.
