Abstract

Background problems in science learning, teachers do not involve students in investigations, students are less trained in developing work (products). The concepts mastered by students are only given by rote by the teacher, students are not taught through a process of discovery that is problem-oriented in everyday life. Based on these problems, the most appropriate solution is to implement the PBI model with smart card media. The general problem formulation is how to improve the quality of science learning in class III 64 / IV SD Negeri Jambi. Whereas specifically is whether through the Problem Based Instruction learning model with smart card media can improve teacher skills, student activities, and student learning outcomes in class III science learning at SD Negeri 64 / IV Jambi City. The general objective of this study was to improve the quality of science learning in third grade students of SD Neegri 64 / IV Jambi City. Specifically, it is to improve teacher skills, student activity, and learning outcomes in class III 64th Natural Science learning. This type of research is classroom action research, using the Problem Based Instruction model with smart card media that is applied in three cycles. Each cycle consists of two cycles with four meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the study were third grade students of SD Neegri 64 / IV Jambi City even semester 2017/2018. Data collection techniques used tests to measure learning outcomes and student activities using instruments, and observation formats for teacher management in classroom learning. The results of the study showed that for the management of learning in the classroom in cycle 1 was a score of 32, cycle 2 received a score of 38 and cycle 3 obtained a score of 48 with good criteria. The results of the study The activities of students obtain an average score of two meetings in cycle 1 is 25.85 with sufficient criteria; The cycle obtained a score of 45 with good criteria. In cycle 3, the score obtained was 34.25 in the good category. While for student learning outcomes the average percentage of classical completeness from the two meetings in cycle 1 was 56.41%. Cycle 2 obtained the percentage of classical completeness was 64%. In cycle 3, the percentage of classical completeness was 82%. The results of this study have shown that the indicators of success have been achieved so that this study was declared successful. As for the conclusions of this study, through the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model with smart card media can improve teacher learning management, student activities and learning outcomes of class III SD Neegri 64 / IV Jambi City at even semester 2017/2018 school year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that students are less active in the class and the learning model used is not appropriate so that the results obtained are not maximal. The low learning outcomes of students in PKn subjects are thought to be caused by a mismatch of learning methods used by teachers in PKN learning. The lecture method commonly used by teachers in teaching is one-way learning, so it tends to make students become passive in learning. The research objectives to be achieved in this study are to improve the PKn learning process so that learning outcomes increase by applying the Jigsaw model of class VI.A Negeri SD 64 / IV Jambi City. This study uses action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this study was class VI A 64 / IV SD Negeri Jambi City. Data obtained in the form of the results of teacher learning management, and student learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning outcomes experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II. The Jigsaw model can improve the quality of learning Civics and Jigsaw Model has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes which is characterized by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely pre cycle (50.00%), cycle I (65.00%), sklus II (85.00%). The average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle is 71.72 and the second cycle increases to 80.77. While for the management of teacher learning in the first cycle only reached 44.64% and the second cycle increased to 86.61%, and the Jigsaw learning model could be used as an alternative to PKn learning.

Abstract

Interprofessional collaboration (IPC) between nurses and doctors is associated with good outcomes for patients, especially in hospitalizations. Different professional cultures can be a barrier to nurses and doctors in an IPC effective and efficient. Effective IPC is important to ensure patient safety. To analyze how the image of Professional Care Givers is different in implementing IPC at Jambi Special Hospital. The research was cross-sectional, the population were nurses, doctors, pharmacists and nutritionists in Jambi Province Special Hospital 105 samples. Sampling with total sampling. AITCS research instruments that have been modified as needed. Most of the application of IPC to Professional Care Givers in Jambi Province Special Hospital both on the partnership dimension, coordination, shared decision-making is only on the clearest reciprocal differences in the dimension of cooperation which is more than half less good. Conclusion: It is expected that the special hospital of Jambi Province will organize more integrated patient center care, which will have consequences for the implementation of the IPC, especially in terms of perceived cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Economics lessons through the Inquiry model in class X students. IPS.1 Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 High School. This research was conducted in Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 High School in the academic year 2018/2019. This research is classroom action research with research procedures covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students of class X. IPS.1 Tanjung Nabung Timur High School 9 9 which consisted of 36 students consisting of 16 male students and 20 female students. The object of this research is the application of the Inquiry model to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, documentation, journal and test assessment. Analysis of data obtained by calculating the percentage of graduation of students in high-level thinking skills. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in Higher Order Thinking Skills in Economics in class X students. IPS.1 SMA N 9 Tanjung Jabung Timur. It can be seen that the average increase and graduation from cycle to cycle. In the first cycle the percentage of student graduation was 36.11% and HOTS was 13, and in the second cycle it increased by 41.67% with HOTS as many as 15.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of students to read texts by using aloud reading methods in class III SDN. No. 028 / XI Tanjung in 2017/2018. The research conducted was classroom action research conducted at SDN. No. 028/XI Tanjung. This research was conducted from July to November 2017. The study involved 15 third grade students. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles (Cycle I and Cycle II) and each cycle consisted of two meetings with four activities namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data was collected by test and observation techniques. Furthermore, the data is processed and analyzed using a simple statistical test. The results of the study show that the use of reading aloud methods can improve students' ability to read texts in grade III SDN. No. 028/XI Tanjung in 2017/2018 which can be seen from the increase in learning activities and improvement in learning outcomes. Student learning activities are getting better. The average score obtained by students also increased from 56.50 (pre-action) to 65.00 (cycle I) and 74.50 (cycle II). In addition, student learning completeness also increased from 33.33% (pre-action) to 60.00% (cycle I) and 86.67% (cycle II). Thus, the reading aloud method can be used as a method to improve students' ability to read texts.

Abstract

Teaching the writing skills of Bahasa Indonesia to SMP students directed to achieve competencies that can be involved in the ability of students reveal various meanings with the correct steps in the written text of a topic relate to the real experience of daily life – with the emphasis of writing language variations. This research is experimental research; By using a class that is an international class IXE junior high School 25 Jambi city. Based on the ability of the students to write narrative essays by using the visual media acquired spread the value of 77 to 88. The lowest value is 77 and the highest value is 88. So based on the value in the table above can be known the average value of students in writing narrative essays using visual media i.e. the number of scores obtained divided by the number of students (sample) is 2286:28 = 81.64. Thus the result of writing essay based on the word media found in good category with an average value of 81.64. From the two results of the class data of the experiment and the control class, it can be concluded that the ability to write narrative essays using visual media is better than the writing ability of narrative essays by not using media Visual grade IX students E SMP Negeri 25 Jambi City.

Abstract

Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) was established and developed with a gradual process of legal legality, namely BMT in which its legal entity was not yet known, BMT that had not had a legal entity, and BMT that had a diverse legal entity. This writing aimed at analyzing the concept of legal strengthening of BMT in Indonesia. This type of legal research was normative legal research on legal principles and legal systematics. Based on the discussion, it was concluded that BMT could be a legal entity because it had fulfilled the requirements requested by legislation, namely the general rule of Article 1653 of the Civil Code which stated that in addition to genuine civil fellowship, the law also recognized assembly of people as legal entity, both held or recognized by the government, or the assembly was accepted as permitted, or had been established for a specific purpose that was not contrary to law or good morality. Juridical considerations for BMT institutions were legal legality for every sharia economic activity and the variety and partial legal norms of BMT.

Abstract

Heavy equipment commonly used in construction projects are Dump trucks, excavators, dozers, soil compactors such as rollers and compactors. The purpose of using these heavy equipment is to make it easier for people to do the work so that the expected results can be achieved more easily in a relatively shorter time and as a reference to find out the needs of the equipment used in the work location whether or not they are needed (Aoliya, 2017). In the pavement / ripening development project Pelayangan sub-district parking lot across the city of Jambi the heavy equipment used is; excavators, dump trucks and dozers. The project which began in June 2017 was completed in December 2017. Based on observations of researchers in the field for the use of 2 (two) pieces of excavator used, 1 (one) dozer, and 20 (twenty) dump trucks. The use of heavy equipment used in the field is not yet known optimal productivity. An analysis of the calculation of the needs of heavy equipment is needed in the construction project of the pavement / ripening of the parking area of Pelayangan Seberang Subdistrict, Jambi City. This study consists of several stages, namely calculating the production capacity of each heavy equipment, calculating the value of productivity, then calculating the number of each tool needed, and in the final stage comparing the number of tools analyzed according to calculations with the number of tools in the field.

Abstract

Increasing quality education is responsibility of all stake holders, but the one that most probably demanded to have big responsibity is the principal of the school. Principal must know what to do to improve their school better. Internal and external quality assurance contain quality data. Internal and external quality data is significant to grow the school beter. The problem is most principal don’t use these data in improving their schools. To meet client satisfaction, school must develop school continuously. Internal data in internal quality assurance System  ( SPMI ) can be used to develop  school as well as external data of quality assurance ( SPME / accreditation) to meet SNP because Internal quality assurance ( SPMI ) aims to help school develop their program and avoid the gaps between ideal condition and fact based on school self evaluation. Cycling procedure owned by SPMI make the development of school suit to its needs (Stating the standard as National Standard, mapping school condition for finding weakness and stenghthness, plan and conduct the plan, montoring and audit). Following this cycles make schools reach proper improvement. Other quality data is external data which can also be used by principal to improve its school because this data contains recommendation to meet SNP after assessed by assessor. Thus all principal make use both of internal and external quality data to achieve school quality.

Abstract

Resilience is an essential element to be built in the nursing profession in order to overcome challenges and difficulties in the workplace. Relationship and effective support that comes from family, friends and peers are factors that influence resilience. To examine the relationship between social support and nurse resilience. This research applied a quantitative design with cross sectional approach. The samples were taken by proportional random sampling and 110 nurses were chosen as the samples.  The instruments in this study were CD-RISC 10 and MSPSS with modified.  There is a relationship between social support and nurse resilience. Suggestion: Hospital management may design an innovative and creative programs to increase nurses’ perceived social support such as family gathering programs, family hospital tour programs and mentoring as an effort to increase their resilience
