<![CDATA[Indonesia has a very high level of disaster vulnerability. Earthquake disasters can occur at any time without being predicted. It is important to implement disaster management simulations in nursing learning to improve the knowledge and skills of nursing students. This paper purpose to find out whether disaster simulation can improve the knowledge and skills of nursing students. This literature uses inclusion and exclusion criteria, articles obtained and reviewed from databases namely Google Scholar (2008 - 2018) and PubMed (2008 - 2018). The search strategy and terminology used in English is as follows: simulation OR disaster or earthquake OR knowledge OR nursing student. Ten articles were obtained from search results. Eight articles mention earthquake disaster simulations significantly increasing student knowledge and skills. While the two articles stated that disaster management simulation does not increase knowledge but increases attitudes or familiarity in the team and satisfaction. Disaster simulation is one of the methods and strategies in a learning system that has a positive impact, especially in the field of nursing education, especially in response to earthquake management?]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is the country with the largest number of young smokers in Asia. At the age of adolescents (aged 12-18 years) or at the age of the Junior High School level, it is very potential to become a new smoker. This phenomenon of new smokers often occurs among adolescent children due to the association and environmental influences. Therefore there must be an early effort to provide an understanding of the dangers of smoking and the impact on health. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive therapy behavior on smoking behavior. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with one group design with pretest and posttest. Sampling was 30 people by purposive sampling. Data analysis using paired t-test (p-value 0.05) to see the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on knowledge, attitudes and behavioral tendencies. Furthermore, using the independent t-test statistical test to see the difference in cognitive behavioral therapy to knowledge, the tendency of behavior (intention) to smoke. The results of the study are the influence of cognitive behavior therapy on knowledge, attitudes, and tendencies of smoking behavior in junior high school students. It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to the mind in choosing an effective therapeutic method in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of health promotion practitioners to maintain, prevent, treat, recover and improve the health status of the community.]]>

<![CDATA[Research is backed by the interview and evaluation of the implementation of PKN-learning in class II. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi City years lesson 2016/2017 obtained the following data: (1) Learning activities are still dominated by the teachers so that students are less active to follow PKn-learning, (2) methods used in learning PKN- To the planting of information/concepts learned to be notified or presented with a lecture only; (3) in the process of learning PKN students feel less guidance and tutoring in self-study, (4) In learning teachers still apply dictated in the recording of the learning material of PKn. Research objectives for Improve the activity and learning outcomes of PKn through the method of discussion in class II students. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi City in lesson year 2016/2017. The questions that want to be answered in the study are 1) whether the implementation of the method of discussion can improve the active learning of PKN in students grade II. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi City odd semester year 2016/2017? 2) Whether the implementation of a method of discussion can improve the active learning of PKN in grade II students. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi Odd semester year lesson 2016/2017? To answer the question, this research uses class action research (PTK). The data collection techniques in this study use observations, documentation, and tests to measure student learning outcomes. The subject of this study is all grade II students. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi City years lesson 2016/2017 as many as 36 students. It can be seen from the research results in grade II students. D SD Negeri 64/IV Jambi City, that is, in the cycle I, the results of learning management reached 63.39% and students ' study activity reached 74.39% and the learning outcomes were 65.00. In the II cycle of teacher learning management reached 91.07% and student learning activity reached 84.42% and students ' learning outcomes were multigrade by the average rating of 83.91. Furthermore, the higher the student's management and learning activities will increase students ' learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Common environmental-based diseases are often a problem of diarrhea, ARI, and hepatitis caused by an unhealthy environment, including in the canteen environment of the 47 Telanaipura Jambi Primary School. This study aims to determine the Germ Number in eating utensils and how to wash eating utensils in the cafeteria of SDN 47 Telanaipura, Jambi City. This research method uses descriptive design, namely research carried out to describe a situation without giving treatment to the object that aims to study canteen sanitation and the number of germs on eating utensils in the cafeteria SDN No. 47 Jambi City. Analyzing data uni variat and presented in table form then analyzed descriptively and laboratory tests. The results of the research on Germination Figures in Eating Appliances in the SDN 47 Canteen obtained 40% more than the permissible germination rate of 100 colonies / cm² and Washing of food in SDN 47 Telanaipura Jambi had used the recommended washing technique using flowing water. It is suggested that the canteen sword does not use plastic plates, paying attention to the means of storing cutlery and the school is expected to facilitate the provision of closed storage cabinets.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper reports on the results of a study focusing on the analysis of students’ ability in writing report texts in terms of generic structure and language features. The subject of the research was the second year students at SMKN 1 Painan. To take the sample, stratified random sampling was used. The data of this research were the texts that were written by the students. Thus, to collect data, writing test was used. The test was analyzed by using scoring rubric. Based on the data analysis, it was found that there was no students had excellent and very good ability, 5 students had good ability, 14 students had fair ability. Then 7 students had poor ability and 4 students had very poor ability. The analysis of the data indicate the students’ ability in writing report text was fair. Also, most of students cannot achieve the passing grade which was 7. Hence, appropriate teaching techniques and approaches should be implemented. ]]>

The rest of the material is something that is of the nature more than what is required either in the form of work or construction material that is left / scattered / damaged so that it cannot be used again according to its function. The amount of residual material can be minimized by exploring the factors that cause the residual material to occur and the use of a good management system. <![CDATA[The background of this research is that science learning in general at the elementary school level is mostly carried out with the lecture method, teachers are reluctant to use learning media or teaching aids, on the grounds that the use of teaching aids or learning media requires a large amount of money and is not practical. Without realizing it, that is what causes the students' learning activeness and results of science to be low. The purpose of this action research is to know the improvement of science learning outcomes after the use of the feedback type cooperative learning model in class IV B 64 / IV Jambi Elementary School students. The subjects in this study amounted to 30 students. This study uses classroom action research conducted in two rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. Data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of data analysts, it was found that student learning outcomes experienced a significant increase. the increase in learning outcomes was marked by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely the pre cycle (59.50%), the first cycle (68.33%) and the second cycle (80.75%). From the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the Cooperative Cooperative Type Feedback type learning model can positively influence the increase in activity and learning outcomes of class IV B students of 64 / IV Jambi City Elementary School, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in science learning next.]]>

<![CDATA[Leprosy is an infectious disease that causes very complex problems. The quality of life of people affected by leprosy is a matter that needs to be considered, Quality of life (QOL) includes physical health, psychological health, level of independence, social occupancy, personal trust, and relationships with the environment. How to improve the quality of life for lepers. Method: Search from 3 databases namely Pubmed, ProQuest and Google Cindekia using keywords of quality of life or Qol or hqrl and leprosy or morbus hansen or leprae or leprosy and self help groups or mutual-help groups or support group or therapy group or self concept This review identified 10 articles that fit the inclusion criteria. Most articles use quantitative, namely cross-sectional design, 6 articles and 1 article using quasi-experiment, 2 qualitative articles and 1 review literature article. Of the 10 articles selected, 4 articles focused on the quality of life for people affected by leprosy and 6 articles that discussed improving the quality of life for people affected by leprosy. This study showed the experience on facing the emotional feeling of men who have sex with man (MSM) after diagnosed having HIV with their partners. This study using qualitative approach with descriptive phenomenology design, the number of participant was 20 people, and getting by in depth interview. Secluding from society often done by people who diagnosed having HIV, asking the information about HIV and how to cure it and getting closer to God for healing.
