<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effect of education and unemployment on poverty in Jambi Province. This study uses quantitative methods to analyze the impact of the average length of schooling, expected years of schooling, and the open unemployment rate on poverty in Jambi Province for the 2017-2019 period. The subjects of this study were residents of every district and city in Jambi Province. The type of data in this study is secondary data obtained and collected indirectly from the object under investigation. The things of this research are nine districts and two cities in Jambi province for the period 2017-2019 from the official portal of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jambi Province. The data used are the average length of schooling (RLS), expected years of education (HLS), and the open unemployment rate (TPT), and the number of poor people in Jambi Province in the 2017-2019 period. <![CDATA[This study aims to examine the determinants factors affecting students’ green behavior, particularly in plastic waste problems. The subjects of this study were Jambi University students with a sample of 1001 respondents. Data collection instruments were compiled by the researcher and tested for validity and reliability. Data collection was carried out using online questionnaire in collaboration with the information technology and communication development institute of the University of Jambi. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively using regression analysis by employing SPSS (version 25. The findings of the study showed that student awareness in environmental issues is the main variable influencing student behavior, followed by students’ understanding of environment variables and ecological-economic literacy variables. Meanwhile, the student lifestyle variable does not affect the behavior of students in the plastic waste problem.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the improvement of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Economics lessons through the Inquiry model in class X students. IPS.1 Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 High School. This research was conducted in Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 High School in the academic year 2018/2019. This research is classroom action research with research procedures covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students of class X. IPS.1 Tanjung Nabung Timur High School 9 9 which consisted of 36 students consisting of 16 male students and 20 female students. The object of this research is the application of the Inquiry model to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, documentation, journal and test assessment. Analysis of data obtained by calculating the percentage of graduation of students in high-level thinking skills. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in Higher Order Thinking Skills in Economics in class X students. IPS.1 SMA N 9 Tanjung Jabung Timur. It can be seen that the average increase and graduation from cycle to cycle. In the first cycle the percentage of student graduation was 36.11% and HOTS was 13, and in the second cycle it increased by 41.67% with HOTS as many as 15. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to investigate the continuance of village unit cooperative, the management, and preparation in facing business competition and globalization. This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to gain an understanding of the phenomenon. Three village unit cooperatives were involved as a research subject in the area of oil palm plantations in Muaro of Jambi municipalities. The findings indicate that the village unit cooperative has been able to provide better prosperity for its members. Second, the village unit cooperative does not have a more advanced and modern business plan to compete in the current era. However, the business undertaken is a monopoly that makes it village unit cooperatives difficult to compete with other parties.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian ekplanatori. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, yang dibagikan pada 49 responden yaitu mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tedapat pengaruh simultan iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Secara parsial iklan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.696 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signfikan iklan terhadap perilaku konsumsi, dan kelompok referensi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.681yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signifikan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari.]]>

<![CDATA[Salah satu kemampuan yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Siswa sudah mampu mengerjakan soal matematika tetapi belum cukup baik dalam menganalisis dan berpikir dengan maksimal. Sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Hal ini juga di sebabkan karena adanya perbedaan gaya kognitif pada masing masing siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah barisan dan deret pada gaya kognitif reflektif dan gaya kognitif impulsif berdasarkan asimilasi dan alomodasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 14 Muaro Jambi. Pada penelitian ini siswa di berikan soal tes MFFT, untuk mendapatkan subjek gaya kognitif reflektif dan gaya kognitif impulsif. Siswa yang tepilih menjadi subjek penelitiaan diberikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah barisan dan deret. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya kognitif reflektif lebih cenderung mengalami asimilasi pada setiap tahapan pada proses pemecahan masalah, hal ini disebabkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif reflektif lebih detail dalam menganalisis soal. Sedangkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif impulsif lebih cenderung mengalami akomodasi pada setiap tahapan pemecahan masalah hal ini disebabkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif impulsif terlalu cepat dalam merespon dan tidak menganalisis soal dengan teliti.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the human development index between regions of Jambi Province for the 2010-2020 period. The measured factors are health, education, and economy. Health factors are measured by life expectancy. The education factor has proxy the length of school expectation and average length of schooling. The economy can be measured by expenditure per capita. The type of data in this study is secondary data, namely data obtained and collected indirectly from the object under study. The objects of this research are 9 districts and 2 cities in Jambi Province for the period 2010-2020 from the official portal of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jambi Province. Data analysis through panel data regression. The finding of this study shows that life expectancy, length of school expectation, and expenditure per capita has positive effect on HDI among regions in Jambi Province. The findings can be used as material for consideration to identify various obstacles/problems faced by a particular area that has a high or low human index. After that, the government can make policies to increase one or more human development index factors that show a decline.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the effect of financial management and entrepreneurial learning on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Entrepreneurship Student Program (PMW) Jambi University. This research is a quantitative research using the Ex-post facto method. The study was conducted on students participating in the PMW of Jambi University in 2021, as many as 86 business groups. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that either partially or simultaneously the variables of financial management and entrepreneurial learning have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Jambi University Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW). Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that universities pay great attention to entrepreneurship learning as a transformation of knowledge and coaching in fostering student interest in entrepreneurship. As prospective entrepreneurs, students are required to be able to manage finances as one of the keys to success in entrepreneurship.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan dana bantuan pendidikan (studi kasus masyarakat penerima bantuan sosial PKH di Kecamatan Jambi Timur). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara bersama keluarga penerima manfaat (sebagai data utama) dan wawancara bersama koordinator PKH kota jambi serta pendamping (sebagai data penunjang) serta data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen atau peraturan yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan efektivitas penggunaan dana bantuan pendidikan (studi kasus masyarakat penerima bantuan sosial PKH di Kecamatan Jambi Timur) sudah berjalan efektif sesuai akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa KPM yang menggunakan dana bantuan PKH untuk keperluan lain. Dana bantuan pendidikan PKH digunakan khusus untuk pembiayaan pendidikan hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil monitoring dan evaluasi pendamping ke sekolah-sekolah dengan melihat apakah kebutuhan untuk menunjang pendidikan sudah terpenuhi atau belum, ketika dimonitoring dan evaluasi sudah efektiv. Baju, tas, sepatu dan kebutuhan sekolah sudah rapi dan layak digunakan untuk menunjang pendidikan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research has a background of the gap between the need for learning resources and the availability of additional learning resources in schools. Where interesting learning resources are one way to help students achieve an understanding of the material. Plantae materials have quite a lot of material content and make students bored if they only learn using printed books and lead to lower interest and learning outcomes compared to other materials. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, procedures for developing the encyclopedia plantae based on the local potential of the Musi Banyuasin district and the perceptions of teachers and students towards the developed encyclopedia product. This research includes the type of research and development or R&D that will produce a product. This encyclopedia research uses the ADDIE model where there are several processes, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This encyclopedia is based on validation by material experts and learning media design experts with a "very valid" validity result. The subjects of this study were students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin and Biology teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin.
