Abstract

Schools as formal educational institutions are role models in many ways, including character education. Character education in schools is adjusted to the age level of the mental development of students, formal educational institutions have a responsibility in printing the nation's next generation, competitive with character. Therefore, this study seeks to examine how the strategy of character building students based on arts and culture education is. The results of this study show the first. character education efforts through the development of school culture is to familiarize all students to always apply the school cultures that have been set by the management of SMAN 1 Kertosono, Nganjuk Regency. Students from the beginning of entering school until graduation are instilled with a spiritual moral culture, clean and tidy, love the homeland, loyal friends, always learning and developing school culture as an effort to create a conducive school environment to develop positive characters. Second, the cultural arts learning strategy with character. Strengthening one of the sub-fields of art is intended to optimize the implementation of cultural arts subjects. Taking into account the availability of teaching staff, student interests, facilities and infrastructure. The specification of one of the arts in the educational process will accelerate efforts to build character education.

Abstract

This article intends to conduct counter discourse by focusing on the discussion of the implementation of strategic management in ONP as a "requirement" to become a social entity that helps overcome various community problems. The method used in this article is a literature review by collecting relevant literature, then analyzing, comparing, and drawing common ground to get a complete understanding. Fifteen articles related to ONP were found; nine discuss financial management including accountability and transparency, three discuss strategic management and quality management, one examines public relations and publicity, one discusses engagement in society, and one presents a critique of strategic management in ONP. Furthermore, the results of the study of this article are threefold, namely: first, the concept of ONP as an organization that was founded with the intention not to seek and accumulate profits, but to help overcome community problems on the basis of volunteerism, partnership, and humanity. Second, strategic management is very relevant to be applied to ONP. Practically, there are two strategic management models, namely the comprehensive Fred R. David model with a three-stage cycle and the Wheelen and Hunger model with a four-stage cycle. Third, there are two crucial challenges that must be answered by ONP, namely: 1) commitment and consistency in carrying out accountability and transparency in performance, and 2) firmness and sustainability in participation in realizing social welfare.

Abstract

Islam has similarities with other theistic religions in terms of its views on the purpose of life in this world and the hereafter. That goal is part of the life of every human being and because of that humans are also competing to show humans universally about the truth of their religion. The dynamic view of Islam in providing solutions to problems faced by mankind cannot be separated from what is presented in detail in its holy book, namely the great Qur'an. Islam is a religion in which there are complete teachings with guidance as a guide for human life. its teachings are an important part of making Islam itself a blessing for the universe. Religion seen from its esoteric and exoteric dimensions has provided an open space for anyone who wants to study the study of religions. In this case, many disciplines have developed such as Christology, Islamology, Hinduism, and Buddhism. These disciplines are the right way to understand existing religions as a way to understand the religious values ​​that each religion has as our knowledge material to create a culture of peace.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the alcohol content in the fermented kombucha drink. The alcohol content was tested because consumers of this kombucha drink are the majority of Muslims who require halal standards in food and beverage products. The research method is a laboratory test with a specific treatment design using 2 samples, namely black tea and kecombrang flowers. The results and discussion of this study are that the results of kombucha tests carried out in the laboratory show the results of the ethanol/alcohol content of 0.055 percent. The test results have met the regulatory standards of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) where halal fermented drinks are below 0.5 percent. Thus, the tested fermented kombucha drink has been declared a halal drink and can be consumed by Muslim consumers.

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce a product with the formulation of the problem: (1) Describing the product specifications of the authentic assessment applicative guidebook in class IV integrative thematic learning with the theme Kayanya Negeri ku, (2) Knowing the level of validity of the applicative guidebook for authentic assessment in class IV integrative thematic learning. the theme of Kayanya Negeri ku, and (3) Knowing the teacher's assessment of the applicative guidebook for authentic assessment in integrative thematic learning for class IV with the theme of Kayanya Negeri ku. The method used in this research is the research and development (RnD) method used to produce certain products. The design development of this assessment guide uses the Borg and Gall design model. The research subjects included 5 fourth grade teachers in 4 government target primary schools in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in Nganjuk Regency, namely SDN Banaran 1 Kertosono, SDN Baron 1, SDN Kemaduh 2, and SDN Mabung 2. equipped with an assessment instrument. The development of this assessment guide has obtained a valid qualification level. In the material aspect, the valid percentage is 96.7% and the design aspect is 98%. The teacher's assessment of the product after the trial was very good with the percentage score in the initial trial of 87.6% and in the field trial of 92.8%.

Abstract

The pandemic COVID-19 has changed conditions in the world of education. Face to face leraning becomes online leraning. This is a new challenge for teachers to be more creative in using media when teaching, especially in boring lessons for students such as SKI. Tik Tok is one of the media used in SKI learning at MI Miftahussudur because this application has many features that are very supportive when used as a learning medium, besides Tik Tok is currently a famaous application, so it can attract student’s attention and enthusiasm. This research aims to know effectiveness of using learning by Tik Tok media in SKI lessons during the pandemic. This research use qualitative research and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that the use of Tik Tok in SKI learning at MI Miftahussudur during the pandemic covid-19 is quite effective. Because students are more enthusiastic in learning and the material presented by the teacher can be understood well. Key word : Tik Tok; SKI Learning; Covid-19

Abstract

Maladaptive thoughts about cancer will cause a high degree of stress, which will worsen the health condition of the cancer patient. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data on the effect of cognitive restructuring using the QS Al-Anbiyaa:35 in an effort to reduce the degree of stress in patients with advanced bone cancer. The study was conducted using mix method model, to see differences in the degree of stress in patients. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that cognitive restructuring can change judgments, thoughts and maladaptive beliefs which have an effect on reducing stress levels.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Women's March is used as a media frame because as a feminist movement that extends throughout the world. The media that will be used are CNN, Al-Jazeera and USAToday, the aim is to examine the media packages used by the three media sources in the Women’s March phenomenon. The theory is used with media framing and feminism. The methodology is using descriptive qualitative research. The result is a media frame against Women 's March with a positive picture because the media portray Women' s March as a social change that is very influential and brings the attention of many people even though there is little political element. Therefore, the implication is that every news sources has its own agenda and bias. Keywords: framing media, feminism, media sources.

Abstract

Da'wah to congregants who have negative prejudices is not an easy thing. The Prophet Muhammad experienced this condition during the distribution of the Hunain war ghanimah. The Ansar had a negative prejudice that the Prophet had acted unjustly. This paper aims to describe the persuasive da'wah communication techniques used by the Prophet in this incident. The method used in this paper is a literature study. The results of analysis show that the Prophet Muhammad used several persuasive da'wah communication techniques, namely yes response, say it with flowers, and pay-off. There is an interesting finding that in influencing and changing Ansar's attitude the Prophet Muhammad did not put words of invitation at the core of his message, but used question words. The persuasive da'wah techniques used by the Prophet Muhammad are useful as a reference for modern preachers in dealing with conditions of crisis of trust.

Abstract

Currently, the Class I Rutan in Surakarta has an average over capacity rate of 88.5% over the last 12 months. So the number of officers for 48 inmates. There are various causes that are a factor in the excess capacity in the Class I Rutan Surakarta, including the high crime rate and the fairly high prison sentence. From the existing data, in the city of Surakarta there were 26 recidivists out of 86 people who were involved in drugs in the Class I Rutan Surakarta in 2013, and increased to 38 recidivists from 125 drug offenders in 2014. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Religion towards criminal thoughts in inmates of the Class I State Detention Center (Rutan) Surakarta and to determine the level of influence of religious activities on criminal thoughts in the inmates of the Class I State Detention Center (Rutan) Surakarta. The study was conducted using quantitative methods that took a sample of 85 people to be respondents taken from the Surakarta Rutan. To analyze the data, a simple linear regression analysis was performed with the help of SPSS software with a significance level of 10%. From the test results, the correlation coefficient is 0.558 and the coefficient of determination is 0.331. From the significance test, a p value of 0.00 is obtained which is smaller than 0.05 and a value in a negative direction is obtained so that there is a significant and negative influence between Religious Activities on the level of Criminal Thoughts of the inmates of the Class I Rutan in Surakarta with the regression equation Y =99.356 – 0.668X. By knowing the results, it is hoped that it can be used as a reference that these activities can affect the criminal mind. So that efforts can be made for intensive spiritual development to be in accordance with the religion embraced in order to avoid criminal thoughts.
