Abstract

Entrepreneurial knowledge is a taxonomic knowledge with complex and extensive metaphor. Its complexity and breadth requires construct simplification to achieve the effectiveness of the cognitive goals that can be guided as a learning outcome. The aim of this research is to produce a conceptual model on the cognitive entrepreneurial knowledge in learning process in higher education. The cognitive construction model is focused on important variables of entrepreneurship such as (a) opportunities recognition, (b) opportunities exploitation (c) innovation, (d) proactive, and (e) risk taking as the main construct variable in entrepreneurship. Conceptual study that concluded that to do cognitive construction from a learning process, 5 aspects are required: (1) content of what will be interpreted; (2) type of representation that will be reflected and explained; (3) referent, the background of representation of the meaning of content; (4) relatedness, the relationship between content and context and (5) the interaction between content, representation, referent and relatedness in forming intentionality. The cognitive construction process will reach it means if intentionality is formed as the goal of learning activity. Proposition of knowledge cognitive construction model gives implication on the future empirical studies as a part of taxonomy and the body knowledge of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study entitled " Analysis of Cost of Goods Sold In Profit In Kimia Farma Pharmacy 66 Luwuk, with the formulation of the problem is : " Is the Price Determination of Sales At Kimia Farma No. 66 Luwuk Has Earned Income Optimal ? "This study aims to determine the Price Determination of Sales and Profits What is optimal at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 66 Luwuk using Descriptive Analysis . The results showed that the calculation of cost of goods sold from 2013 through 2014 can be seen Profits not yet optimal because the sales targets set each year has not been reached . Profit decline that occurs due to declining prescription sales of credit and operational costs which did not experience significant differences .

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence the level of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosures by testing the effect of corporate size, profitability, and board of director size on corporate social responsibility disclosures index. Sample used are manufactur sector companies that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sources of the data were taken from audited financial reports and annual reports and sustainability report, if any. This research uses quantitative approach with multiple linier regression analysis. The results show that profitability, firms’ size and board of director size have a positive effect on corporate social responsibility disclosures.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of service quality with patient satisfaction in Husada hospital Jakarta in order to provide a draft proposal regarding the quality of service in an effort to improve customer satisfaction. The variables of this study is the quality of service (independent variable) and customer satisfaction (dependent variable). Subjects were patients at the Husada hospital Jakarta totaling 100 patients were assigned to the non-probability sampling method accidental sampling. Measurements were made using a scale of Quality of Service which consists of 20 items, and Patient Satisfaction scale consisted of 12 items that are already on the validity and reliability. By using the technique of linear regression through SPSS for Windows version 21.0 was obtained in the regression R = 0.78 and R square = 0.609, p = 0.000 (p <0.05) indicating that patient satisfaction positively and significantly related to the quality of service equal to 0.780 and the role of service quality variables are able to explain the variable of 60.9% patient satisfaction. The study hypothesis which states "quality of care can improve patient satisfaction in Husada hospital Jakarta ", is accepted. Means the better the quality of service will be followed by increased patient satisfaction in Husada hospital Jakarta.

Abstract

This article discusses the effect of urbanization on Human Development Index during 2010-16. It shows that Jakarta has the highest population growth and Gross Domestic Regional Product. However, Surabaya has the highest Human Development Index. Eventhough,  Jakarta, with the highest  Gross Domestic Regional Product,  does not indicate the highest Human Development Index. On the other hand, Medan has the lowest Gross Domestic Regional Product.  Not only Medan has  the lowest  Gross Domestic Regional Product, but also it has the lowest Human Development Index.

Abstract

The local government as a system, organizationally, has the public relations (PR) board which should ideally have a large capacity in supporting management of policy development.This study is intended to describe the existence of PR to support the successful implementation of relocation policies of street vendors in the Yogyakarta City. This research is a qualitative research with the unit of analysis is the staff of PR and information from the government of the Yogyakarta City. The problem to be questioned is to what extent of the local government PR are performing the function and roles based on the main duties and functions which is set based on, theoretically, the essence of the ideality. The results showed that the success of the relocation of street vendors in the Yogyakarta City performed collaboratively between PR and its stakeholders. Processes and mechanisms impasses through the stages of fact-finding, planning, and negotiation. PR is not involved directly in the process of communication and negotiation to street vendors, but it is become a bridge of information, mediator, and facilitator in the process of relocation. Media of communication which widely used are mass media and interpersonal media. Both kinds of media are used by PR board and its stakeholders in creating the awareness of the street vendors to be relocated.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability, firm age, firm growth, leverage and independent commissioner on intellectual capital disclosure of financial companies which are registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2014. The samples of this study are 57 companies. Secondary data are collected by learning the company’s financial statement. Collected data were processed by using SPSS for Windows 20. The result showed that firm size, firm age and independent commissioner partially influence the intellectual capital disclosure, while profitability, firm growth and leverage has no effect on intellectual capital disclosure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) which is proxied through: the proportion of independent commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, quality audits, and family ownership on the cost of debt. The objects of this study are companies listed in Compass 100 period August 2013 January 2014. The method used to take samples of the study using purposive sampling method. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistics, the classical assumption test, and hypotheses test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing that performed by using multiple regression analysis at the 0.05 significant level, the results of this study prove that the proportion of independent commissioners has a significant negative effect on the cost of debt. Managerial ownership has a positive significant effect on the cost of debt. Institutional ownership, quality audits, and family ownership has no significant effect the cost of debt.
