Abstrak. SMAN 01 Lebong Atas merupakan sekolah tingkat SMAN yang mengedepankan dan menanamkan akhlak mulia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di SMAN 01 Lebong Atas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Upaya guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di SMAN 01 Lebong Atas dilaksanakan melalui beberapa cara: Menjadi teladan bagi siswanya, membantu siswa merumuskan misi hidup mereka, membaca Al-Qur`an bersama siswa dan dijelaskan maknanya dalam kehidupan, menceritakan pada siswa tentang kisah-kisah agung dari tokoh-tokoh spiritual, mengajak siswa berdiskusi dalam berbagai persoalan dengan perspektif ruhaniah, mengajak siswa kunjungan ke tempat-tempat orang yang menderita, melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan keagamaan, mengajak siswa menikmati keindahan alam, mengikutsertakan siswa dalam kegiatan-kegiatan sosial, dan membentuk tim nasyit.

Pesantren is an oldest education system and considered as an Indonesian cultural product. Along with the change of era that experienced by Indonesian society, pesantren education also has development. With that background, compiler interested to distinguish various models of pesantren in this millennial era. The research method used study literature with a qualitative approach. From this research, can be concluded that the current globalization in the millennial era made its generation not far from the use of technology, the internet, social media and others. This encourages Islamic boarding schools to modernize by looking at the needs of "markets" that require competent human resources. There were many models of millennial Islamic boarding schools. Various developments are carried out, one of them is mastering language, entrepreneurship, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and other current competencies. This modernization, not only have a positive impact but also problems like pesantren is harder to be able to fulfill its main function, which is to produce tafaquh fiddin people.

Islamic education faces several problems and challenges, one of the problems is that the portion of PAI hours at STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci is relatively small, which is 2 credits, so that it impacts on methodological problems, the learning strategy takes the form of lectures, because it is considered effective in overcoming time constraints i.e. lecturers explain while students hear and take notes. Not infrequently when given the opportunity to ask, not a student raised his hand to ask. This condition causes the class to be less dynamic and pleasant. This study aims to improve the process and results of Islamic Education using a cooperative type jigsaw model through video media Dr. Zakir Naik on STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci accounting study students. The population in this study were Accounting students in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year, totaling 90 people. In this study the author took only Accounting Class I which amounted to 45 people. Data collection is obtained through observation, interviews with students and documentation. The increase in the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education learning process using the jigsaw cooperative model through Zakir Naik's media in the first cycle, the second cycle and the third cycle became more enjoyable than before because students had new experiences, students who were less active became active during learning, student antusui seen when discussing.

Character building is an important step in the process of education, especially Islamic education. The occurrence of various forms of immoral behavior from the community, especially students is an increasingly problematic education today. Character building needs to be done early on to students, both within the family and educational institutions. This paper is intended to look at the process of character building in one of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions in Yogyakarta that applies the Fullday school model with a boarding school education base. The formulation of the problem to be answered is about how the process of implementing the Fullday school system in fostering children's character and how to foster children's character with boarding-based values. The results of the study show that character building through the Fullday school program can run more effectively because the teacher's guidance to students is more intensive. In addition, the planting of the values of the pesantrenan can provide students with supplies, such as serving the parents, living a simple and thrifty life, discipline, and so on. Character education and coaching in MI Nurul Ummah is the parents' choice because education obtained by children outside the home can be guaranteed.

This paper aims to find out how the relationship between education and national competitiveness. Because from the results of a survey conducted by The Global Compliance Report the position of the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation always rises down from year to year. By looking at the various data, is there an educational factor that determines the position of national competitiveness. From the results of several documents and articles both journals and books it turns out that one of the pillars of the nation's competitiveness is education. Education is one of the efforts of a nation in improving the quality of its human resources. So to improve the quality of human beings is also required to make improvements to equitable education and quality of education. Because education is what will make qualified human beings a driver of national development towards a nation that has high competitiveness.

This research aims to know the influence of the application of the Shariah as the preferences of older people in Central Aceh in choosing formal education instutions. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The results of this research show that the factor knowledge of parents reagarding Islamic Jurisrudence and its application as well as economic, educational background of parents dealing with the positive decision of the parents send the children in public school, boarding schools and madrasah in Central Aceh. The next factor is the parents knowledge about Islamic Jurisrudence and its application as well as economic, educational background of parents can explain its effect on the dependent variable i.e. decisions parents send children in public school, boarding schools and madrasah. Based on the test silmutaneously demonstrated knowledge factors parents regarding Islamic Jurisrudence and its application as well as educational background, economically significant influential parents against decisions parents send children in public school, boarding schools and madrasah in Central Aceh. Then test the partial basis for each variable that is knowledge og the elderly on Islamic Jurisrudence and its application as well as educational background, economically significant influential parents against decisions parents send children at public school, boarding schools and madrasah in Central Aceh.

This paper discusses the development of human morality and akidah using brain based learning. The author are aaindentifies the existence of static learning in moral and akidah education.To create more fun and modern moral learning, a brain based learning method was created.In it contains a strategy about moral akidah learning that uses brain based learning methods that are also combined with learners who are active and effective and in line with it, in order to form human beings who have noble character and strong convictions to disperse Allah, then it is more concerned with planting good person.This learning refers to empowering the potential of the brain so that humans can think critically and cooperatively in supporting the life of their faith and character in accordance with the guidelines of the Qur'an and hadith. In moral akidah education where the times have reached the distribution era, the application of brain based learning methods is very appropriate to be used as a response to the destructive era.

Having a Nationalism Value is a duty for every citizen. In other words, it is an unconditional value. At the same time, the issue of racial disunity has been grown lately. This issue is related to religion. Most compelling evidence, high school student?s Nationalism Value moreover theirs who follow spiritual organization has been descending due to the incorporation between religion and nationality. The scope of this field research is within SMA Negeri 1 Purworejo. Qualitative analysis method supported by descriptive statistical data is being used in this study. As a result, this research found that Nationalism Value can be instilled through classroom learning, recitation and activities in the spiritual program. The value of Unity and Patriotism, which constitutes for Nationalism Value, is invested through verbal and non verbal communication. For this reason, Islamic religion teacher is the most crucial agent in instilling Nationalism Values to spiritual activists. In the event that 57% of students have a high Unity Value and 68% of students have high Patriotism Value, henceforth the Nationalism's Value of spiritual activists tends to be high.

Penelitian ini berawal dari tesis bahwa motivasi belajar Tarikh atau Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam pada siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) terlihat rendah. Hal ini tentu akan berakibat negatif, salah satunya adalah menurunnya rasa apresiasi dan meneladani sejarah tokoh-tokoh Islam. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang meliputi (1) menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar Tarikh pada siswa kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberikan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Compotition (CIRC) ; (2) menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar Tarikh pada kontrol dan kelas eksperimen setelah diberikan metode CIRC. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen kuasi, untreated control group design pretest and posttest. Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji dua hipotesis menggunakan anava campuran atau lebih dikenal dengan Anava Mixed Design. Anava Mixed Design ini memadukan dua sub analisis yaitu Within Subject Test dan Between Subject Test. Within Subject Test merupakan pengujian perbedaan jumlah skor dalam satu kelompok (pretest dan posttest) dan Between Subject Test yaitu pengujian perbedaan skor antar kelompok. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa; 1) Tidak ada perbedaan motivasi belajar Tarikh yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan metode CIRC, 2) Tidak ada perbedaan motivasi belajar Tarikh secara signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol setelah metode CIRC.

This paper examines various social problems in society often occur. In interacting with the community, like it or not, like it or not, intentionally or unintentionally it often happens that the offense and hurt hurt. The Prophet Muhammad as the messenger of Allah who was sent to perfect morality has set examples in navigating life in the world, especially in social matters. Evidently Rosul SAW has built a civil society in Medina. The examples of the Prophet Muhammad who I adopted in this article are the prohibition of whispering together without regard to the third, the ethics of visiting, greeting, giving the right of road users and giving rights to neighbors. From these various themes, it is expected to be a learning so that in interacting with fellow human beings, a Muslim always prioritizes morality.
