Abstract

Age 0-6 years is a period of "golden age" very important and determine the quality of life of children later. Nowadays there are many sexual violence with child victims, caused by weakness of parental supervision and not optimal of sex education in children. Children are particularly vulnerable to being sexually assaulted as being powerless to take action against the perpetrators. Sex education is an effort that can be done to prevent the sexual violence, but many parent assume that sex education is a taboo, less important, children will get that knowledge in school so many parents who do not provide sex education in children. As a result, the child does not have sufficient knowledge about sexual health and cannot protect himself if he experiences violence or sexual harassment. Training activities are expected to increase the knowledge and awareness of cadres of the importance of providing sex education in children. Implementation of the training is done for 2 meetings with a duration of 5 hours. The first meeting discussed the urgency of providing sex education in children and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The second meeting discussed ways of providing sex education and materials to be conveyed to children about their reproductive health, question and answer discussion, and production healthcare cadres. The results of training there is an increase in the level of knowledge and changes in perception of sex education in children and the establishment of reproductive health cadres.

Abstract

UKK Kerapuh and UKK Cumi  not develop because of the low participation of fishing communities in the region in the implementation of the program Tambak Wedi  UKK . Volunteers or health workers who are not active, people do not understand about the benefits and management of UKK .Health education activities have not been carried out routinely by cadres of health workers. Poor work habits, among others squat and bend over too long, working without protective , complaints Hypertension disease, respiratory illness, back pain, skin diseases on the fishermen.The  Matter UKK group health was hypertension, disorders of the respiratory tract (cough), family members of fishermen 10% are anemic.The approach offered to resolve the issue is to carry out workshops, training and mentoring, in improving the skills of cadre pos UKK and the fishing communities of Tambakwedi region, help improve management capabilities UKK .Output Increased knowledge and skills of partners in managing the UKK, healthy eating family management skills, Training Module Health and Safety, Management Pos UKK, Scientific; Proceending; and Poster.

Abstract

Desktop mendeley application is actually an application intended to facilitate the creation of citations and a list of libraries commonly used by the authors, so the authors will be pressed error in making the bibliography and facilitate in obtaining the writings to be cited. In addition to creating scientific papers, this application can also be used to manage the files of online journal articles that are the output of a scientific work. Furthermore, participants can utilize this application for the purpose of making a bibliography or collection of abstracts of certain fields of journal articles subscribed. Training activities undertaken in Community Service activities show that participants have a material understanding and the potential to make refernsi managers better and maximum by utilizing mendeley desktop applications.

Abstract

Karang Taruna is a social forum that is expected to be able to overcome various social problems that produce young generations and are able to develop the potential of the younger generation in their environment in the frame of increasing the level of social welfare of the community. This great mission from Karang Taruna cannot always be smooth, for example in the Griya Asri Karang Taruna Group. Griya Asri Kalitengah Karang Taruna is a Taruna reef that is quite active in the social field, but this group has a positive foundation that can hone skills and can increase motivation to be a creative and independent generation. Therefore, the researchers took the initiative to conduct an Art-Enginering (Areng) training on Pemuda Karang Taruna Griya Asri Kalitengah with Pawitra Ruang Seni to improve their skills in art and the manufacture of simple tools. Components of Training Success are viewed from the achievement of the target number of trainees and the achievement of training objectives. At the level of achievement of the target number of trainees from the data of members of the Asri Kalitengah Griya Karang Taruna can determine the target participants get 50% of the total member data and 77% of the total active members. As for the target achievement of goals in terms of changes in perceptions and motivations improved by using the questionnaire and questionnaire methods, while the assessment of changes in skills was reviewed from the implementation of the program agenda before and after the participants attended the training. In addition, it was also reviewed from the first activities carried out by cadets at regular meetings after the training was held. The general results of the data obtained from the training are good. From what is seen from the motivation, the quality of the practices that have been produced by the participants, it can be concluded that the objectives of this activity have been obtained.

Abstract

In a successful college can not be forgotten the existence of this one factor is the lecturer. Lecturers are the key to success in universities to educate students and students to be useful for the nation and the nation in the future. Some of the lecturers' duties include teaching, research and community service often mentioned by Tri Darma Perguruaan Tinggi. Of the three obligations of a lecturer is asked to have the ability to write skills such as Reports, Theses, Theses, Dissertations, Books, Articles and others. However, to be able to write well it is necessary to practice continuously and know the tools to write one is the tool for the citation and bibliography. Therefore required tools / applications that can help lecturers to write citations and bibliography. Mendeley is an application that can be used to write citations and bibliography but not all lecturers can use this application. Methods in an effort to improve the ability to write lecturers do with several stages of lecture training materials / workshops about the contents of the introduction of Mendeley applications and videos about the ease of using this application, Practice using Mendeley application, Provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions or discussions about the material submitted, Conducting a survey to evaluate is done by spreading Pretest & Posttest quizoner with success indicator of success level understanding of participants in this program is 80%. The result of this activity proves that the lecturer can improve his writing ability is very positive for the development of lecturers expertise in making scientific research work.

Abstract

Betta splendens is an ornamental fish of economic value, this fish has the excellence color, fight instinct, and short life cycle. Betta fish into the category is easy to cultivate (narrow field). Betta splendens are one of 70 species of betta fish (Betta sp.) experienced breeding. The process begin several characters from body color, size and fin shape for ornamental and fight purposes. This potential can be implemented and developed to new breeders in members of breeder cilacap community, so as to improve the quality and quantity of betta fish. Existing problems i.e., how to optimize the unproductive narrow land more productive narrow land for the cultivation of betta fish and addition knowledges of betta cultivation, especially new breeders. This program 2 groups of citizens and 1 group of students. The solution provided, i.e., discussion about prospect of betta cultivation and focused training starting from selection of broodstock, process of breeding, egg and larvae breeding and feeding. The results from this activity is the use of land for the cultivation and the success of the spawning process new individuals both by citizens and students with entrepreneurship spirit.Sains

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of teachers and parents about the importance of Clean and Healthy Behaviour (PHBS). Clean and healthy behavior is also a set of behaviours practiced by learners, teachers and the school environment community on the basis of awareness so that independently able to prevent disease, improve health, and play an active role in creating a healthy environment. This community service activity is carried out in kindergarten of Aisyiyah 6 and kindergarten of Riadhus Sholihin at Kecamatan Candi Sidoarjo. The Method used in implementing this community service undertaken to solve the existing problems for those partner schools, such as 1) Workshop on integrating the implementation of Clean and Healthy Behaviour (PHBS) in learning activities, 2) parenting activities about healthy food for children. The result of this community service activity is a school regulation which contains about eight indicators of school PHBS implementation, scheduling five supporting activities of school PHBS implementation, and children not snacking haphazardly.

Abstract

Community service activities performed in PKK Payungan Village, Kaliwungu District Semarang Regency help to parents understand educational games android decent child consumed. Educational games to support cognitive development of children so that parents must understand the various types of educational game applications, how to choose the right educational game, and how to install on the phone The implementation method used was presentation, demonstration, practice, brainstorming, and sharing about educational game to PKK Payungan Village. This activity is done through three stages: 1) socialization, 2) mentoring, 3) monitoring and evaluation.The results of the implementation of this activity was : 1) understanding educational games android as supporting the cognitive development of children in very good category. This is indicated by the percentage of achievement indicators of educational games (96%), choosing educational games (89%), installing educational games (93%), and implementing educational games (86%); 2) get positive response seen from indicator attendance reaches 93% of target and enthusiastic participant during activity from beginning to end of activity. The final goal of the introduction of educational games was IT literacy parent so as to be able to monitor their children in using mobile phones especially when playing games.

Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the condition of problems in the environment of Junior High School (SMP) of Global Insani Islamic School (GIIS); it has been found that one of the problems that is deemed necessary to watch out is in terms of interaction with fellow Junior High School students. Based on the observation of the school, in this case is the teacher, the intercommunications of Junior High School students are considered "braver". In the sense of sometimes "forgetting" the risks or dangers they face. If we learn further, then the risk behavior among Junior High School students can be caused by the adaptation process in the face of puberty and also in the face of changes in the style of intercourse in adolescence. Risky behaviors that become the most widespread problem are the behaviors associated with bullying and the behaviors of intercommunication with understanding of sexuality.

Activities are conducted by the method of action research through the initial evaluation of activities, preparation of quality documents, socialization and assistance and final evaluation activities.
