Abstract

A human resource management is an integrated system important to a company, resulting in a need for better employee attendance and the need for more informed decision-making regarding new employee recruitment management, employee appraisal, position placement, employee training, employee service, and employee dismissal. Because of these, an integrated system is needed in handling the attendance process until the employee termination. So as to meet the needs of the company in the management of data attendance of employees better by minimizing the occurrence of fault, reduce paper use and worktime of HR department in attendance recording and help HR managers on making more appropriate decisions related to existing processes in company such as helping on determining appropriate employees occupy positions based on position qualification with the employee ability. This Information System Development using System Development Lifecycle methodology (SDLC) begin with designing Fishbone Diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), PIECES Diagram, system interface design, Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 as input, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 as data storage and SAP Crystal Reports as output in reports. The authors hope, the results of this information system development can help companies to deal with existing problems in human resource management.

Abstract

Hadith is a source of law for Muslims after the al-qur'an, in which there are instructions in the form of words, actions, attitudes, and others. Hadith must be studied and practiced by Muslims, then used as a way of life after the al-qur'an. Classifying hadith is a way to make it easier for Muslims to learn hadith by looking at the text pattern in the translation of Bukhari hadith based on three classes or categories based on suggestions, prohibitions, and information. The classification carried out is a multi-label classification. The classification process uses N-gram and TF-IDF as feature extraction, CART and bagging as classification methods, and hamming loss as evaluation methods. Bagging is used to cover the shortcomings of CART, namely, the CART model is less stable, which, if there is a slight change in the training data, will have a significant effect on the resulting learning model. Several testing methods were carried out to obtain the best hammer loss value in this study. Based on several tests that have been carried out, the best hamming loss value is 0.1914 or 80.86%. These results indicate that the use of bagging can help increase accuracy by 5%.

Abstract

Disease is a certain abnormal condition that negatively affects the structure or function of part or all of the body of a living being. Disease is not only found in humans, but also in animals especially pets which are known to be more susceptible to disease. This study explains that it is important to maintain the health of pets so that the health of their owners can also be maintained properly. The lack of knowledge of pet lovers causes delays in handling these pets. Another problem besides pet disease is the lack of veterinarians or veterinary clinics in the Asahan area. To help overcome these problems, a system was created that can determine diseases quickly in pets such as dogs, cats and rabbits using the Case Based Reasoning method. This Case Based Reasoning method is used to find the disease similarity value by looking at previous cases. From the weight calculation carried out in this case, the highest similarity value is Worms with a percentage of 92,3076%. So the recommended treatment solution for new cases entered by users with symptoms of intestinal worms is regular deworming and regular grooming at least once every 14-15 days.

Abstract

Making and testing prototypes is very important in developing a product. This is very important to do to minimize errors that may occur when the product has been released to end-users. There is research that discusses problems and determines the design of solutions for ordering creative gifts using design thinking. In this research, the focus is on problem space design thinking which includes empathize, define, and ideate processes with the result of the solution design in the form of a wireframe. The wireframe is made in two versions which are then carried out A/B testing to get user views regarding the design that will be used. The design of the chosen solution can be developed to the prototype stage. The focus of this research lies in solution space design thinking, namely making prototypes based on research results in the form of wireframes and conducting testing. Prototypes are important to be made as a communication tool between developers and end-users. With a prototype, end-users can directly test it without having to wait for the final product to be released, so that they can find out existing deficiencies as early as possible. The prototype was created using the Figma application. After the prototype is successfully made, the prototype is tested using the HEART Framework which focuses on aspects of Happiness and Task Success. The target set for the two aspects of the assessment is to achieve a very high level of usability level. Tests are carried out on all users, namely owner, admin, and customer. From the test results, the reliability criterion value is 0.87, which means the level of usability reaches a very high level. In other words, what has been targeted, can be achieved in this test. For the next stage, the prototype can be developed into a finished product so that its benefits can be felt directly by end-users.

Abstract

Everyday busy making plant owners leave their plants, this causes their plants to wither or die, in this study aims to build a smart watering system for plants using the Blynk smartphone application that has been integrated with the Arduino Uno R3 mikrocontroller because it is connected through software Arduino IDE program input to run as desired an which is equipped with a Relay 5V tool deliver voltage, and Aquarium Pumps so that water can flow to plants. Then for Thingspeak it self, it useful to display the moisture value in the soil that will be displayed on the web that has been connected with the Arduino Uno R3. Soil Moisture Sensor to let you know if the soil content is below 400 then the soil is most moist and if the soil above 900  the soil status dry, trough this Smartphone can water the plants with time or use the on / off button that is already available in the Blynk Smartphone app view

Abstract

Retail is one or more activities that add value to the product to the consumer either for family needs or for personal use. Retail can sell products depending on current market needs. The goods we enjoy today are not apart from retail services, retail helps producers / distributors and consumers so that every need will be fulfilled. In this problem the author tries to do retail store research in the city of Padang. This research aims to help retail stores to forecast procurement of goods. Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation can make the forecasting process for procurement of goods for the next period of time on each item on the retail and will ultimately be useful for retail store managers. The forecasting process begins with determining the variables that will be required in the network pattern, then the pattern of established network will be continued on the network training process by using backpropagation algorithm. After doing the network training process the researchers will do a comparison with some pattern of network that has been formed. The last process undertaken in this research is the process of determining the best network pattern of the average value of errors obtained from each training network pattern. In the final result of the forecasting process, the results of the calculation have a total error of = 3.57%. Judging from the forecasting process that will be done not only used to predict the procurement of goods but also can predict sales figures in retail stores. In principle, this research can help to determine the procurement of goods in the sales process that will minimize the losses that occur in every sales activity.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) in serving the community requires quality human resources. The quality of employees in supporting the advancement of a company is very important, so many companies are trying to have quality employees. The way that can be done is by recruiting prospective job seekers in accordance with the criteria desired by the company, it's just that so far many companies have problems in the filing and sorting process because it is done manually, so the results do not match the criteria for the desired job seekers So we need a decision support system with the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique method to provide recommendations for the best job seekers with the criteria for Endurance tests, academic tests, psychological tests, laboratory tests and interview tests. The final result of this SPK is that it can provide recommendations for the best job seekers in accordance with the specified criteria.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of science and technology, the need for fast and accurate information is needed by every company. To manage information requires good and sophisticated technology. The technology needed is not only in the form of hardware (Hardware) and also in the form of software (Software), but has great value for those who use it. One of the support to make it happen is to process company data using a computerized system. In this research method, the method used is the waterfall method as a pattern of system development. until now has not been computerized, while the information system is very supportive and provides satisfying services for customers. For this reason the author discusses the design of a sales information system at the Sono Snack Shop with a program that facilitates the shop. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this store, and with a computerized system can be achieved an activity that is effective and efficient in supporting the activities of this store.

Abstract

The need for fast and accurate information has become the need of every company, including hospitals. This is one of the factors that makes a company superior to other companies. In making the right and accurate decisions, leaders need information that is presented clearly, easily understood, on time, and in accordance with needs. To support the presentation of such information a database, data warehouse and other applications that are easy to understand are needed. Hospitals as a socio-economic institution are not only required to provide solutions to health problems but are also demanded to always improve the quality of their services. For this purpose to be achieved, its management must be efficient. Service indicators can be used as a measuring tool to assess the level of management efficiency. Business Intelligence (BI) application is one form of implementation that is able to facilitate management to monitor hospital performance. This research explores the use of information technology to build BI applications, reviewing the right approach in building BI applications, as well as several important aspects that must be considered for the system work for the hospital environment. There are two main stages in building this application, namely: building a data warehouse originating from an electronic medical record database and hospital operations, and building a BI application. With the formation of this BI application, it is very useful for hospital management in managing their institutions better

Abstract

The use of video streaming on computer networks uses the method of delivering multimedia content in the form of streaming that can be done with several transport protocols such as RTP, RTSP, and HTTP. The protocol has its own character and of course also has its own quality comparison. Therefore, this study will compare the quality of each of these protocols. The assessment criteria to be carried out in this study are the value of throughput, delay and jitter. Streaming video will be done with the VLC application and measuring the quality of services using the Wireshark application. From the results of the testing that the author did, the best video streaming quality on the local network is using HTTP protocol with a throughput value of 418.635 kbps, Delay 8.65 ms, and jitter 19,618 ms.
