Abstract

Research has been carried out on the manufacture of biobatteries using pineapple extract. This research aims to determine the effect of volume variations of pineapple extract solution on the voltage and current produced by biobattery. Volume variations of pineapple extract solution consisted of 50 ml, 100 ml, 150 ml, 200 ml and 250 ml. The electrodes used were copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn), the tests carried out consisted of measurements of pH, voltage, current, electric power and the length of time the voltage was lowered. The test results for the pH value of the pineapple extract solution were 3.7. The highest value of voltage, current and electrical power is obtained in pineapple extract solution because the pineapple extract solution has a higher acidity value.

Abstract

Motor Brushless Direct Current sebagai salah satu mesin listrik yang banyak digunakan di industri, ketika diberi pembebanan maka kecepatan motor akan berubah sehingga fungsi alih motor juga mengalami perubahan. Mekanisme kerusakan pada motor BLDC yang paling umum dapat dikategorikan menurut komponen utama mesin seperti gangguan pada belitan stator, rotor dan bearing. Gangguan pada bagian belitan stator hal ini disebabkan karena hubung singkat belitan stator.Maka pada penelitian ini membahas analisa gangguan pada bagian belitan stator dan dilakukan dalam beberapa variasi kondisi pembebanan dengan menggunakan software Matlab R2013a. Beban yang digunakan adalah  tanpa beban,10 N.m dan 20 N.m Hasil dari data tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan metode Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) digunakan untuk analisis arus stator dari domain waktu kedalam domain frekuensi. Data analisa berupa karakeristik nilai-nilai arus terhadap frekuensi. Deteksi gangguan belitan stator pada motor BLDC dilakukan dengan mengamati amplitudo pada frekuensi terjadinya gangguan belitan stator yang muncul disekitar frekuensi fundametal. Resolusi frekuensi digunakan untuk mengatur tingkat akurasi pengamatan amplitudo pada spectrum frekuensi. Rata – rata pada persentase tingkat keberhasilan deteksi hubung singkat belitan stator untuk pembebanan dan tanpa beban 94 %. Dampak positif adanya sistem analisa gangguan belitan stator dapat mengantisipasi kerusakan fatal pada motor BLDC.

Abstract

Abstract Crisis of energy that hit the world had an impact on high world crude oil prices, thus directly affecting economic activity. The wealth of energy resources, especially the new and renewable energy sources that we have, needs to be considered to be used as alternative energy, replacing and reducing the role of fuel oil for energy consumption in Indonesia. The testing of this tool aims to produce hydrogen gas which can be used as an alternative fuel and provide an innovation in the form of control to obtain data from the hydrogen gas production. The method of obtaining hydrogen gas by electrolysis is applied to the reactor using Stainlees Steel as the cathode-anode and Na2CO3. as a catalyst solution in the experimental process. The voltage source used in the reactor is 675 volts DC with a current of 10 A and the Arduino control system is used as an automatic control system. Furthermore, after the production process, the hydrogen gas produced from the electrolysis process is inserted into the hydrogen gas storage tube through the manifold hose. The results of the implementation carried out in producing hydrogen gas using the Arduino control system during the 2-minute experiment obtained a gas volume of 30.22 KPa, then the results of data analysis were carried out after production was running for 1 hour, which obtained 5.06 liters of hydrogen gas. Keywords: Energy Crisis; Hydrogen Gas; Control System. Abstrak Krisis energi yang melanda dunia berdampak pada tingginya harga minyak mentah dunia, sehingga berpengaruh langsung terhadap kegiatan perekonomian. Kekayaan sumber daya energi, khususnya sumber energi baru dan terbarukan yang kita miliki, perlu dipikirkan untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai energi alternatif, menggantikan dan mengurangi peran bahan bakar minyak untuk konsumsi energi di Indonesia. Adapun pengujian alat ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan gas hidrogen yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif dan memberikan suatu inovasi berupa kontrol untuk mendapatkan data-data dari hasil produksi gas hidrogen tersebut. Metode pemerolehan gas hidrogen dengan proses elektrolisis yang diterapkan pada reaktor dengan penggunaan Stainlees Steel sebagai katoda-anoda dan Na2CO3.sebagai larutan katalis pada proses percobaan. Sumber tegangan yang digunakan pada reaktor adalah  675 Volt DC dengan arus 10 A serta penggunaan sistem kontrol arduino sebagai sistem kendali otomatis. Selanjutnya setelah proses produksi berlangsung gas hidrogen yang dihasilkan dari proses elektrolisis dimasukkan ke dalam tabung penampung gas hidrogen melalui selang manifold. Adapun hasil dari pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam menghasilkan gas hidrogen menggunakan sistem kontrol arduino selama percobaan 2 menit diperoleh volume gas sebesar 30.22 KPa, kemudian hasil analisa data dilakukan setelah produksi berjalan selama 1 jam akan diperoleh gas hidrogen sebesar 5.06 liter. Kata kunci: Krisis Energi; Gas Hidrogen; Sistem Kontrol.

Abstract

Masyarakat nelayan kabupaten Pidie masih mengandalkan cara-cara tradisional dalam melakukan proses penangkapan ikan sehingga hasil tangkapan ikan di Kabupaten Pidie hanya sebesar 1.252.892 Kg per tahun. Sajian data kesuburan perairan dalam bentuk peta merupakan kebutuhan dasar bagi nelayan. Sajian peta dengan mengklasifikasi tingkat kesuburan menjadi, Sangat Subur, Subur, dan Tidak Subur. Zona potensi penangkapan ikan sangat subur hanya terdeteksi pada bulan Desember. Zona potensi penangkapan ikan subur di di seluruh wilayah perairan Kabupaten Pidie  hanya pada bulan Februari. Zona potensi penangkapan ikan subur di sepanjang pesisir pantai terdeteksi pada bulan Januari, Maret, Mai, dan November. Potensi penangkapan ikan di wilayah perairan Kabupaten Pidie Pada bulan Juni, Juli, dan Agustus hanya terdeteksi di sebagian kecil wilayah pantai saja.

Abstract

The accelerated development of the technological world cannot be separated from the materials of electronic components. Vocational schools are the most dominant schools in discussing electronics, but there are still many students who have abilities below the graduation standards that have been set in the subject of electronics basics. One of the causes of low learning outcomes is due to the lack of involvement of students in the learning process. Therefore it is necessary to think pair share method to spur student activeness and creativity during learning. The technique in doing this method is by students thinking, discussing and sharing material concepts directly with their classmates controlled by the teacher in material supervision. In addition, by using this method students are able to solve problems during the learning process well. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with Posttest Only Control Design. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman which consisted of two classes, namely X TITL-1 and X TITL-2. From these two classes were selected randomly where class X TITIL-1 was the experimental class and class X TITL-2 was the control class. To see students' initial abilities, an analysis of the posttest was carried out in the subject of Understanding the Basics of Electronics. Collecting data in this study using a learning outcome test (posttest) in the form of objective questions of 25 items. The data were analyzed using the two-mean difference test (t-test). Based on the results of the study, the posttest mean percentage of the experimental class was 77.14% and the control class was 55.14%. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes with a comparison of the think pair share method which is better than the conventional method.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the use of the Internet of Things in smoke density levels monitoring and camera movement control. Internet of Things as long distance communication for monitoring and control systems. In this research, the system can detect smoke levels and can monitor it via an android phone, besides this system is equipped with camera movement control so that the camera position can be controlled remotely to be positioned towards the center/source where smoke is detected, so this system is needed as building and industry security as a fire prevention. This study uses a smoke density detection sensor type MQ-2, Arduino Uno as a controller, Esp8266 as a Wifi module and a servo motor as a camera driver. The results of the tests that have been carried out prove that the system has been successfully integrated and works according to the target, which is to detect the concentration of smoke and monitor remotely via an android phone and camera movement control properly.

Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran PBL berperan penting dalam peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan adanya pembelajaran PBL maka peserta didik dapat berfikir kritis dan bisa mengembangkan pengetahuan baru. Pembelajaran PBL menuntut peserta didik untuk mampu memecahkan masalah mengenai materi yang diajarkan oleh guru. Peneliti menerapkan model PBL pada pembelajaran untuk mengetahui rancangan dan pengaruh hasil belajar peserta didik dikelas X SMKN 5 Telkom Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan eksperimen jenis pre eksperiment berupa metode one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek yang diambil hanya satu kelas yaitu siswa kelas X berjumlah 28 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data uji t pada hasil pretest dan posttest, maka diperoleh   = 1,70 sedangkan  dengan jumlah nilai 5,15, hal tersebut membuktikan (5,15 > 1,70) yang artinya  diterima sedangkan  ditolak. Sehingga dengan adanya penerapan PBL pada proses pembelajaran, maka terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar terhadap peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the rate of heat absorption in black, red, green, yellow, milky white, and blue electrical light related to temperature change with a predetermined time variation. This study uses an AC power circuit to light a bulb with varied colours and then measures the temperature associated with the heat involved in the light on. The calculation in this study uses the Black principle concept. The results showed that black and green light bulbs had the greatest temperature change followed by red, blue, yellow, and white bulbs. This is in accordance with the basic concept that dark colours tend to conduct heat better than bright colours.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has changed various aspects of human life. one in the field of education, the entire campus must learn new methods online. To make learning easier online, learning media are needed. Learning media is a means of interaction between lecturers and students so that learning activities are more effective and efficient. The media can display information through sound, images, movement and color, both naturally and manipulated. With the media, learning objectives will be more easily achieved with the minimum of time and effort. Purpose: Thus the author seeks to determine the effect of the use of instructional media on student interest in learning in the histology course, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malikussaleh. Method: This research was a descriptive study with a cross sectional survey design. The sample in this study were all students who filled out a questionnaire at Malikussaleh University. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique and data were obtained from primary data. Result: From the regression results, it can be seen that the learning media variable has a t-count value of 4,212, which is greater than the t-table of 1,671, with a significance of 0,000, which means less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that the learning media variable has a positive and significant effect on increasing interest in learning in medical students at UNIMAL

Abstract

Dari hasil observasi awal peserta didik dalam bidang teknik audio vidio pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim masih terdapat kekurang pada penggunaan media pembelajaran dan masih rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik yang belum mencapai kriteria (KKM ). Penelitian   inidilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Mind Map dikelas X Teknik audio vidio SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim. Penerapan media pembelajaranMind Map adalah sebagai proses memetakan pikiran untuk menghubungkan konsep-konsep permasalahan   tertentu dan hasilnya dituangkan langsung   diatas kertas dengan animasi yang disukai dan gampang dimengerti oleh pembuatnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini  adalah metode kuantitatif dengan Quasi-Eksperimen yang merupakan eksperimen semu untuk mengetahui  ada tidaknya akibat dari suatu perlakuan yang dikenakan pada subjek didik.Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim dengan jumlah 396 peserta didik, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan seluruh peserta didik di kelas X teknik audio vidio di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim sebanyak 17 orang. Pengumpulan data mengguankan pretes, perlakuan dan postest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa   hasil balajar peserta didik sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran mind map dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 29.11 dan setalah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran nilai rata-rata nya meningkat sebesar 66.47. Analisis  hasil  belajar    diperoleh  thitung>ttabel   (7.33>2.110)  sehingga  H0   ditolak  dan  Ha   diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulakan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Mind Map pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.
