Abstract

This research has done in Ketangga Jeraeng Village East Lombok. The objective of this research are: (1) to know the effect of bokashi on the production of rice (2) to identify the dosage of bokashi in order that  rice can product optimally. Complately randomized design with four replicates were used in this research. Data analysis with Anova and least significant different (LSD).The result of this research are: (1) the application of bokashi has significant effect on the production of rice, (2) the dosage of bokasi that must be given  in order that rice  can product optimally  is 0,8 kg bokashi/10 kg soil.Keywords: Bokashi, Production, Rice

Abstract

The purpose of this study is determine the effect of multi representation learning approaches to physics learning, the effect of students learning motivation on physics learning, and the interaction between the multi representational learning approach and the students learning motivation toward the learning outcomes of physics. This type of research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, so that obtained class XI MIA 1 as experiment class and class XI MIA 2 as control class. The research instrument is a multiple choice test for physics learning result of 25 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and different power of problems. The learning data of the two classes is normally distributed. Based on the homogeneity data obtained both homogeneous. Instrument to measure motivation to learn in the form of motivation questionnaire that has been tested by the expert team of validity. Data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA test. Result of data analysis show Ftable at 5% significance level equal to 3,97. Test the effect of multi representation learning approaches to physics learning equal to Fcount (8,857) > Ftable (3,97). Test the effect of students learning motivation on physics learning equal to Fcount (9.00) > Ftable (3,97). Test  the interaction between the multi representational learning approach and the students learning motivation toward the learning outcomes of physics equal to Fcount (2.00) < Ftable (3,97). Based on these facts it can be concluded that there is influence of multi representation learning approach to physics learning result, there is influence of learning motivation learners to physics learning result, and there is no interaction between multi-representation learning approach with learning motivation of learners toward physics learning result.Keywords: multi representation learning approach, physics learning result, learning motivation

Abstract

A research on the antioxidant potential of ethanol extract Phaseolus vulgaris L. fractination. The aims study to know fraction had been antioxidant potential and dominant compound at extract fraction. Antioxidant potential fraction is polar fraction and its IC50 is 158 ppm. A dominant compound at nonpolar, semipolar dan polar fraction is phenolic compound. Polar fraction had a greatest percentage phenolic compound (42%).

Abstract

Has successfully carried out the synthesis of M-hexferrites with doping metal Co. using coprecipitation method in which the basic material used in this study is BaCO3, FeCl3.6H2O, and CoCl2 (Pa) in the form of powder with a purity of 99.99% by mole fraction 0, 0 , 2, 0.5, 0.8 and 1. BaCO3 dissolved in HCl with 0.1 N. The process of dissolving BaCO3 using a hot plate and stirred using a magnetic stirrer until the temperature reaches 70°C for 2 hours, to prepare a solution and dissolve Iron CoCl2.6H2O (III) Chloride Hexahydrate FeCl3.6H2O, then a third mixing a solution of BaCO3, CoCl2.6H2O and Iron (III) Chloride Hexahydrate FeCl3.6H2O it in a beaker and stirred using a magnetic stirrer to form a homogeneous solution (brownish black color) and then adding a solution NH4OH precipitating the burette so that the precipitate obtained with high homogeneity. The samples were cooled and washed with distilled water, filtered with filter paper until pH neutral (pH = 7), the material is dried precipitated by using an oven temperature of 80°C. Furthermore, the process of grinding in order to obtain a brownish powder and calcined at varying temperatures of 400, 600 and 800ºC for 4 hours.Keywords: Barium M-heksaferit, cobalt, coprecipitation

Abstract

This study aims to know the abilities of the teachers in applying authentical assessment in biology at grade X IPA Senior High School of Lombok Timur district. This study using descriptive method which getting data in the verbal only not in numbers. Getting samples at 8 Senior High Schools of Lombok Timur district which aplicate kurikulum 2013 they are SMAN 1 Masbagik, SMAN 2 Aikmel, SMAN 1 Sikur, SMAN 1 Terara, SMAN 2 Selong, SMAN 1 Keruak, SMAN 1 Montong Gading and SMAN 1 Sakra. To these teachers of biology were given instruments which asked how the authentical assessment reseach done in the schools and the result were presented in this study. The ability of teachers in applying authentical assessment were different from every questions there are attitude, knowledge and skill. Attitude they are observations, self assessment, assessment among students, journal and interview were answered by teachers with yes 65,62% , knowledge were answered by teachers by yes 88,75% and skill were answered yes 87,75%. Ability of teachers in applying authentical assessment were answered yes as many as 78,75% and the next verbally answered by teachers because of the problems in applying authentical assessments. Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: (1) develop learning device for questioning empowerment thinking (PBMP) combined with cooperative strategies of TPS types and NHT types in science subjects in primary schools; (2) to know the different understanding of students' science concepts by applying the learning of PBMP, PBMP.TPS, PBMP.NHT and Conventional Strategy; (3) know the consistency of PBMP applications, PBMP.TPS, PBMP.NHT and Conventional Strategies. This research method: (1) research and development method to develop learning device; and (2) quasi experimental study to know the effect of applying learning tool to understanding student biology concept. To collect data using the science-biology concept test. Hypothesis test using covariance analysis technique (Ancova). The results of the research are: (1) This research produces learning device consisting of syllabus, PBMP learning plan, PBMP.TPS and PBMP.NHT. Learning device have the potential to improve understanding of science concepts in elementary schools in Mataram; (2) There is a significant difference in understanding the concepts of students following PBMP, PBMP.TPS, PBMP.NHT and conventional learning strategies

Abstract

The one form of a  research as an advanced action  suggestion of the  research done by Handayani et al. (2013) was construction of a base data of alumni that could easily reach all alumni of Biology Education Study Program FKIP University of Mataram, as they are widely separated in some parts of Indonesian region.  This descriptive research provided some explanation in relation to the profile of the alumni Biology Education Study Program FKIP University of Mataram. The alumni base data was constructed based on SQL. The result of research explained that the alumni base data using SQL program was very helpful for analysis of separation and various kinds job of alumni, so the Biology Education Study Program FKIP University of Mataram could do evaluation and developing as the needed of market or job market. This research also showed during the periods of 30 years, the alumni of Biology Education Study Program FKIP University of Mataram that work as a teacher with some fluctuation. There was 92% as a teacher for the alumni period 1980-1994, and slightly increased became 93% for alumni period 1995-2004, than decreased sharply became 54% during the period of 2005-2014.Keywords: Base Data, Alumni, Based on SQL

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of VAK approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) towards the result of learning physics of students at SMPN 10 Mataram. The kind of research used was experimental design with design of research was randomized posttest only control design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Population in this research was all the students from the eight grade at SMPN 10 Mataram, while the sample was 25 students of class VIII A as the experimental group and 27 students of class VIII B as the control group. The data obtained was analyzed by using t-test of two-tailed. t-count was 4.78 and t-table was 2.00 with significance level 0.05. Hence, t-table is smaller than t-count or t-count is bigger than t-table. It means that Null Hypothesis was rejected and Alternate Hypothesis was accepted. It means that the application of VAK Approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) affects the results of learning physics of students.Keywords: VAK Approach

Abstract

The objective of this study was to isolate endophytic bacteria from bark of srikaya, analyzing antibacterial activity of endophytic bacteria in S. aureus, B. cereus and E. coli pathogenic bacteria, characterizing endophytic bacteria capable of inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria and identification of endophytic bacteria able to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Isolation of endophytic bacteria using TSA and NA media, bioassay on pathogen bacteria with concentration of 106 cells / ml with using Ø 6 mm wells and entering supernatant of 100 μl. Supernatant was obtained by growing endophytic bacteria in NB media shaken with shaker 150 cycles / min for 48 h at 32ᵒC then culture centrifuge at 5000 g for 30 min. Positive control using cyprofloxacin. Characterization is based on the nature of the colony, Gram paint, spore formation, and biochemical tests. The results of the study yielded 13 endophytic bacterial isolates and 4 endophytic isolates capable of inhibiting the growth of 8 pathogenic bacteria with sensitive criteria, 2 pathogenic bacteria with resistant criteria and 1 pathogen bacteria can not be inhibited its growth. Gram's paint results show that 4 endophytic isolates belong to Gram-positive, rod-shaped and spore forming cells. From the character possessed by the bacteria can be identified that the 4 bacteria endofit capable of inhibiting pathogenic bacteria are Bacillus brevis, Bacillus latesporus, Virgibacillus pantothenticus, and Bacillus circulansKeywords: Characterization, Endophytic Bacteria, Bark of Srikaya, Antibacterial

Abstract

The aim of this study are: (1) to determine differences on learning achievement between  students who obtained PBI learning model and who received conventional learning models; (2) to determine the different of students achievement on different learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic). The population of this study on all class X SMAN 7 Mataram students (570 students). Two classes were chosen as sample of this study (64 students). Instruments in this study consisted of paper and panel test of learning achievement and quetsionair of student’s learning styles. The results of data analysis showed: (1) PBI learning model significantly influence on student learning achievement; (2) the learning style does not significantly affect to learning achievement.Keywords: Problem Based Instruction, learning styles, student learning achievement
