Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of behavior of students smoking before and after the service, and analyze the level of effectiveness of service strategies. In this study, researchers used a pre-experimental design that is one-group pretest and posttest design. Pretest-treatment-posttest research procedure. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using a measurement scale through the instrument. Validity and reliability using Pearson Correlation and Cronbach alpha. Analyzing, experimental results, researchers used descriptive statistical counts, and tested the effectiveness of the service test with the Wilcoxon formula with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 application. treatment 224 or 41%, the average yield can be classified as low. Level of service effectiveness Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test calculation on student data obtained that the significance value (Sig). 0.012 is less than 0.05. The influence of smoking behavior before and after the service is provided.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa Model Program Bimbingan dan Konseling Komprehensif Berbasis Kearifan Lokal (local wisdom) pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama  Di Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/R and D) yang menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Prosedur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Pelaksanaan need assessment dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument ITP dan dianalisis menggunakan ATP. Hasil dari need assessment digunakan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa Program Bimbingan dan Konseling Komprehensif Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Hasil dari uji ahli untuk program ini yaitu ahli pertama dengan nilai 85 dan ahli kedua dengan nilai 85 dan produk layak untuk di gunakan. Setelah uji ahli maka dilakukan uji praktisi melalui FGD. Produk diimplementasikan ke guru bimbingan dan konseling di SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials for the development of ethics and personality of counselors which will be used by universities that have guidance and counseling study programs. In addition, the mastery of ethics and personality by prospective counselors helps to achieve the 4 basic competencies that counselors must have. The purpose of this development is carried out due to the lack of understanding of the counselor's ethics and personality as a potential counselor. This is evidenced by the results of the scores obtained by the 6th semester students of Ahmad Dahlan University in participating in UA, out of 198 students, 91 students got a C grade. during lecture activities. The development of this counselor textbook on personality and ethics is expected to be able to facilitate prospective counselors in forming a personality and ethics that should be owned by a counselor.

Abstract

There are still many students who have low learning motivation so that it hinders the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Solution Focused Brief Counseling in increasing student motivation in junior high school. The research method used in this study was an experimental method with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study amounted to 5 students who were determined based on the Purposive Sampling technique with a low category pretest scale score. The results showed that there were differences between the values of the pretest and posttest. The level of learning motivation of the research subjects from the pretest average score of 58.4 which is included in the low category, increased to an average of 91.2 when the posttest was included in the medium category. Based on the Wilcoxon test obtained a significance value of 0.043 less than 0.05, which means the provision of Solution Focused Brief Counseling for effective solutions to increase the learning motivation of class VIII students in Ash-Syafi’iyyah Islamic Middle School, Pakisaji Malang

Abstract

Karakter kerja keras adalah kegiatan yang dikerjakan secara sungguh-sungguh tanpa mengenal lelah atau berhenti sebelum target kerja tercapai dan selalu mengutamakan atau memperhatikan kepuasan hasil pada setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Tujuan penulisan adalah memberikan stimulus kepada pembaca untuk melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan judul ini sehingga terbukti studi literaturnya. Kerja keras dapat ditingkatkan dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan ular tangga. Permainan ular tangga dimainkan oleh anak-anak dan remaja yang dimainkan oleh 2 orang lebih. Penulisan menggunakan metode literature. Metode literature adalah kajian yang dibaca oleh penulis dari berbagai referensi yang relevan dengan judul penulisan ini misalnya buku, e-book, jurnal dan makalah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran konsep diri siswa, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terbentuknya konsep diri siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 54 siswa diambil dari 2 kelas di kelas IX. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif yang dilakukan selama pengumpulan data dan setelah pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (a) sebanyak 68,52% siswa memiliki konsep diri positif, dan 31,48%siswa memiliki konsep diri negatif, (b) terbentuknya konsep diri dipengaruhi oleh faktor kompetensi, pengalaman yang diperoleh selama berinteraksi dengan orang lain, interaksi subjek penelitian dengan lingkungan sosial, dan citra diri, sedangkan faktor jenis kelamin tidak memiliki korelasi dengan tumbuhnya konsep diri dalam diri siswa.

Abstract

The writing purpose of this article is to recover the identity of counselor’s profession. The counselor's profession has a significant development from 1900 to the present. But there is a problem in counselor’s profession. This is about crisis of identity. The counselor's professional identity crisis arises because of four counselor problem myths. In Indonesia the counselor profession is still not widely known by the community. This is because there are still many negative perceptions that arise in Indonesia. The counselor's identity can be seen from how a counselor can fulfill the requirements which includes has taken a Bachelor's Degree and get passed,  has an knowledge of his professional identity, has the basic nature of the counselor and has a knowledge which covers theory and practice and also can carry out the assignment in school. Through these requirements, the counselor’s profession identity will be formed and will be more stronger.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see differences in the resilience of student guidance and counseling based on sex. The data collection tool in this study is a resilience scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The number of research subjects was 68 students consisting of 34 male students and 34 female students. The results of the study through independent calculation of the sample t test showed that there were no traditional differences between male and female students.

Abstract

Appropriate support can be provided by parents if early adolescents self-disclose from parents. However, through self-disclosure, early adolescents also need to perceive their parents as individuals who are able to accept their self-disclosure and are able to provide support. Therefore, parents need to show supportive communication that can encourage the desire of adolescents to perform self-disclosure. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a significant relationship between early adolescent’s self-disclosure and early adolescent’s perception of supportive parental communication. The participants of this study were 614 early adolescents within the age range of 13-15 years who had undergone education, living with both parents, and domiciled in Jakarta. The participants were obtained through a non-probability sampling method by convenience sampling technique. To answer the purpose of this study, The Jourard Self-Disclosure Questionnaire and the Parental Supportive Communication Scale were used to conduct a correlation test. The correlation test results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between early adolescent’s self-disclosure and early adolescent’s perception of supportive parental communication. For future research, the researchers outlined some important suggestions to be considered.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of problem areas for first-year students. The study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive survey types. The number of subjects in this study was 298 of first-year students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta determined through simple random sampling technique. Data collection instruments using the Alat Ungkap Masalah UMUM Perguruan Tinggi (AUM UMUM PT), while data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The study showed that 15% of first-year students had economic and financial problems, 14% had personal problems, 12% had social relations problems, 12% had physical and health problems, 16% had career and job problems, 9% had time problems free, 7% experienced problems with family relationships, 7% experienced youth problems, 4% experienced religious, value and moral problems, and 4% experienced education and learning problems. The results of the study serve as a basis for formulating guidance and counseling services for the development of potential on first year students in Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.
