Abstract

Sistem pengukuran performansi diperlukan bagi perusahaan maupun organisaasi untuk mengetahui kondisi, hasil yang dicapai, dan potensi perusahaan. Sama halnya dengan kondisi di PT. Pondok Indah Tower dengan tingkat hunian hotelnya yang masih belum optimal, dituntut mampu untuk menyusun suatu rencana strategis agar mampu bertahan dan memiliki keunggulan bersaing dalam pelayanan.Beberapa praktisi dan kalangan akademis berpendapat bahwa diperlukan model-model baru dalam pengukuran performansi seperti Balanced Score Card yang diperkenalkan oleh Kaplan dan Norton pada tahun 1996. Perancangan sistem pengukuran performansi dengan metode Balanced Score Card pertama kali dilakukan dengan menerjemahkan dimulai dari visi, misi, dan strategi perusahaan ke dalam key performance indicators. Perspektif pelanggan memiliki bobot yang paling besar menjadi perhatian yaitusebesar 51,1%. Perspektif keuangan memiliki bobot sebesar 28,2%, perspektif proses bisnis dan internal memiliki bobot sebesar 12,3%, dan perspektif pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran memiliki bobot sebesar 8,3%. Produktivitas karyawan dapat ditingkatkan dengan menciptakan kepuasan kerja dan memberikan akses informasi yang mendukung tercapainya produktivitas.

Abstract

This research explores the analysis of the optimum setting for the noise (80dB, 77dB, 80dB), temperature (18°C, 24°C, 34°C) and illumination (155lux, 200lux, 300lux) to optimize manually envelope folding jobs productivity. The analysis that will be implemented here is design experiments factorial method to determine the significant factors that influence manually envelope folding jobs productivity. Also, the response surface method will be applied to obtain the approximation model for manually envelope folding jobs productivity as a function of the factor found earlier so that the most optimum result can be obtained under a design optimization method.

Abstract

The process of transporting rice sacks in a rice mill in Sragen area is still held manually without transporting aid. The distance between two stations is 10 meters and the sacks weigh 40 kilograms. According to the Bordic Body Map questionnaires handed out to the workers, their complaint is about pain in neck area, upper left arm, upper right arm, back, waist, left thigh, right thigh, left calf, and right calf.The proposal of the trolley design as an aid for transporting rice sacks is accomplished by analyzing work postures using REBA method, then deciding the anthropometry dimension to decide the dimension of the trolley design. According to the 3D (three dimensional) picture of the design, which is then supported by the calculation result using REBA method, it is found that the design of trolley as an aid for transporting rice sacks results in improvement of work postures. The highest score of REBA before the design is 10, which represents high risk level, while the score after the design is 6, represents average risk level.

Abstract

This research evaluate the second data coming from operator report daily. The second data obtained from glue winding machine group, the calculation is conducted by calculating mean production capacities in 1 shift work during 6 month. This calculation uses the assumption that mean production capacities executed by the same raw material in producing manner of geometry of design product done by worker. Approach model uses the graeco-latin square to test anova at level significance 5% from worker skill. The result from this research that worker evacuation from machinery facility to other machinery facility at same job station, have to pay attention to the skilled ability ofworker.

Abstract

Shuttlecock consists of two parts that are dop and feather. Dop is part of the shuttlecock-shaped half-sphere which is at the end of the shuttlecock. In a dop small industry of Mr. Sumeri in Jagalan have four main activities in the production processes that are dop pressing, dop cutting edge, put a cloth on the end of the dop and counting. The calculation activity done during the change of dop production process, after buying dop that has not been coated nylon fabric and when there is order. Calculation is needed to determine how many dop that has been processed by the workers as the basis for the calculation of the workers earned wages each week. Calculation activity can disturb the workers because they have to use work time to calculate the dop that has been processed and waiting for the counting is complete. In this study is conducted redesign tool of dop counter based on anthropometri with RULA analysis. The purpose of this research is to produce a dop counter so that it can improve ergonomic working posture. The tool is designed as dop counter with anthropometri approach to retrieve data anthropometri 3 workers in the dop industry of Mr. Sumeri. By RULA method for dop calculating, the activity use thier upper body is more dominant which it aims to investigate the working environment that is not ergonomic in the human upper body. The result based on RULA is posture of workers can work longer when using the tool indicates a high risk level. Furthermore redesigned tool of dop counter provides working posture at the lower level of risk and the time counsumed by dop calculation process using a new tool as 1 minute per 20 dozen dop. This research produces dop counter-dimensional with high, wide and long of dop counter, respectively 67 cm, 63 cm and 80 cm; dimensions of the dop channel are length: 84 cm, width: 52 cm and height: 20 cm; dimension counter are length: 48 cm, width: 40 cm and the dimensions of the hole are length: 3.5cm, width: 3.5 cm and height: 6 cm. The total cost of making the new light bulb counter is Rp 266,000.00.

Abstract

Vacuum packaging appliance serves to package food products by removing all the air that is in the packaging. The purpose of the vacuum packaging is to make the product to be more durable and long lasting. It can also increase the value of merchantability because the product that is processed oyster mushroom is packaged more cleanly. Nowadays, the mushroom seller usually use an automatic type. Based on the seller experience, the device is difficult to operate. Since the parameters of vacuum pump and temperature sealer must be set before using it, moreover the price of equipment is too expensive. Therefore the required design of the vacuum packaging appliance in accordance with the requirement of the seller. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is employed to design the vacuum packaging equipment. Then an assessment an assessment of the user's voice level of interest, expectation and satisfaction are conducted subsequently. Furthermore, HOQ is developed by determining technical characteristics, weight and what and how relationship. The main priority in the design seen from the order of the highest weight of the technical characteristics. The results from QFD produce 6 attributes (voice of customer) from the complaints of respondents and 10 technical characteristics. Highest weight of the technical characteristics is "total dimensions scaled and customized tool that is packaged with the product" with a weight of 43.20 or 21.16%. Hence, that technical characteristic must be taken into consideration in designing the vacuum packaging equipment

Abstract

One of the pottery found in central Java in Bayat, Klaten. The process of making pottery is still done manually. In previous research, Febrianti (2009) has designed the turntable to generate employment and chair rotation driven manually by a foot to workers by applying pottery maker RULA method. Output results of this study was the design and yet was tested against pottery workers, so can not guarantee whether the tool has an ergonomic or not. In this experiment, pottery maker who still form the design image and then made a real pottery maker. The tool was tested against the six workers. From the test results obtained by some of the weaknesses of the old design tools. So that should be added some specs to get comfortable in operating the old design tool.

Abstract

PT ABC is a company enganged in the manufacture of drum oil, at first the company produces only one kind of drum namely non liquid leacker ( NLL).The high competition make pt abc add kind of product that is liquid leacker ( NLL) or drum with paint on the inside. So that companies must add some new machines resulting in the layout of a machine become commuting between from the building one into the building two. Research purposes this is designing layouts alternative to minimize cost material handling using methods quantitative analysis, that ' s using from to chart, outflow table, and priority scale table. After making the collection and processing data over distances total is 876,64 m. This distance longer 6.25 m compared with the layout of the beginning, namely 870,39 m. but the result of reckoning cost of materials handling produce a cost of RP 3.345.193,00 the cost is cheaper than the layout of the beginning, fund of RP 3.988.084,28

Abstract

Ada 292 sekolah dasar yang terdapat di Surakarta baik sekolah dasar negeri maupun sekolah dasar swasta. Sekolah tersebut tidak hanya didominasi oleh siswa yang berasal dari kota Surakarta saja, namun juga terdapat siswa dari luar kota Surakarta. Kondisi itulah yang memunculkan adanya bisnis layanan antar jemput bagi siswa. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam bisnis kendaraan antar jemput adalah biaya. Beberapa pihak pengelola mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan besarnya biaya layanan antar jemput dikarenakan penentuan biaya yang sudah ada hanya menggunakan jarak terdekat dan terjauh. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui kelayakan bisnis dan besarnya potensi layanan antar jemput perlu diadakan evaluasi. Evaluasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi kelayakan bisnis yaitu dengan menggunakan payback period, net present value dan IRR. Tahap awal evaluasi potensi bisnis ini adalah mengidentifikasi jumlah siswa yang menggunakan layanan antar jemput dan biaya layanan antar jemput. Tahap kedua adalah memetakan sebaran siswa layanan antar jemput dengan menggunakan GIS untuk mengetahui estimasi jarak tempuh. Kemudian, menghitung biaya per km sebagai dasar perhitungan kelayakan bisnis layanan antar jemput. Tahap terakhir adalah mengevaluasi kelayakan bisnis. Hasil evaluasi kelayakan bisnis layanan antar jemput berdasarkan studi kelayakan investasi diperoleh hasil untuk payback period sebesar 3 tahun 8 bulan lebih rendah dibandingkan ketentuan umur ekonomis 8 tahun. Net Present Value sebesar Rp 71.155.644 lebih dari 0. Nilai IRR sebesar 41% lebih tinggi dibandingkan suku bunga bank 12,38%

Abstract

Laptop has now become a necessity for students of Industrial Engineering of Unsika. Unfortunately, they use a laptop in a bad way, where they sit on the floor and put the laptop on the lap. This can cause a variety of health problems, such as neck pain, hot legs, back pain, and even humpback. To overcome those problems, we need a portable laptop table, that making it easy to carry, stored, and transported. Currently, the market has circulated many types of portable laptop table, but still less appropriate for students of Industrial Engineering of Unsika. This research aims to design a portable laptop table suitable for students of Industrial Engineering of Unsika. From the research, the results showed that this laptop table is made from PVC pipe, knock-down with a height 244 mm, width 444 mm, length 305 mm, and height of under table at least 211 mm
