Design of Shallot Agricultural Training Center in Nganjuk starts from the potential of shallot farming with abundant crops. Many of the farmers who want to develop more knowledge about shallot , not just local farmers but also from other regions. This region need a space of agricultural education activities that can accommodate a variety of agricultural training especially in shallot farming,. With the approach of ecological architecture that pay attention to natural factors such as: climate, ecological materials and health of its users. The design of Waste Managament Center in Surakarta with Ecological Architecture approach is based on three considerations. First, waste problems in Indonesia need more solutions than just bin the waste, but the waste needs to be disposed properly. Second, Surakarta’s landfills is already overloaded because of the increase of waste produced. Third, there is the urge to applied ecological architecture to create a harmonious atmosphere between human and environment. This Waste Management Center designed to accomodate waste processing activity and with another supportive activities as a public facility. The method to design is problem solving by reviewing ecological theories and applied it to the architectural component (space, site, mass and facade, structure and utility). Ecological architecture approach is applied to create a holistic design that enrich the quality of the environment and the lives of those who use them. Also, it is applied to create a harmonous atmosphere that could change society’s paradigm that waste management facility is not a disgusting dirty place but it is a clean, comfortable and eco-friendly living place to visit that leads to stimulate the visitor to not just bin the waste but dispose the waste properly.

Resor Hotel becomes the most important and unseparated part of tourism. Every region which has its own tourism destination is usually supported by good accommodation, one of it is resor hotel, it can be seen from popular tourism destination in Indonesia, such as Bali or Lombok,besides having beautiful beach panorama, both islands are also have many Resor Hotel with unique concept and design, which becomes the main attraction for tourist. Besides Bali and Lombok actually there is a lot of coastal tourism potentials owned by another regional areas in Indonesia, but not exposed yet, one of them in West Sumatera. In West Sumatra, there is a new tourist area named Mandeh Tourim Area, this area is located in the south coast of West Sumatera, and located next to the Indian Ocean, although it has beautiful natural panorama, the accomodation in this area is still incomplete, one of it is the Resor Hotel that good enough to accommodate activiteies there, based on that phenomenon the urgent problem is how to plan Resor Hotel concept that can accommodate the number of visitors coming to Mandeh Tourim Area, and also feature characteristic of West Sumatra culture, as promotion of West Sumatera culture out. Regionalism Architecture used as design approaches in a way to show off West Sumatera culture to tourist that come by, thus this Resor Hotel can give tourist a new vision and knowledge about West Sumatera culture, this culture usually shown in building shape that have unique character, such as shape of the roof, carving wall, and building material, these character will applied in Resor Hotel design Key Word : Mandeh Tourism Area , Regianlism Architecture, Resort Hotel

The railway station at Ahmad Yani airport in Semarang is a work of architecture discipline. The goal is to get the design of the airport train station in Semarang. With the railway station at Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang is to facilitate passengers who want to continue their journey, either from plane to train or vice versa. It is also expected that with this railway station can reduce congestion that occurred in Semarang, people outside Semarang who want to pick up his family at the airport do not have to come all the way to Ahmad Yani airport, because passengers domiciled outside the Semarang can Use a train to get to their respective areas. By using the accessibility method, it is expected that this station can facilitate the passengers who want to use rail transportation modes or who want to change the mode of transportation. Of course, the selection of the site has also been through several analyzes. The chosen site is also very precise because it is on the south side of the Ahmad Yani airport and is on the railway line. And also on the east side of the tread is the main road to get to the airport. So, on the highway is access to the station. The shape, layout and location of the station building also prioritizes the accessibility of its users. The facilities provided are also designed to facilitate passengers such as the addition of escalators, travellators, ramps, guiding blocks, bridges, etc. The concept used indirectly can provide convenience and comfortable of the passengers who want to change the mode of transportation. Klaten Regency is located between big tourism cities, such as Surakarta and Yogyakarta. Klaten has its own potential of tourism and creative industries. At the other hand, the facility to support the development of creative industries in Klaten is not sufficient.Â The purpose of this design is to build a building that have complete facilities for creative industries sectors such as culinary, craft, fashion, music and performing art and not just for selling the products to costumer but also for the developing local creative micro to middle scope businessman in Klaten too, then the product could be developed dan known in national and international range. Using metaphor from one of the best and unique product of Klaten and response of the condition around the site would be a representation of iconic shape of Klaten Regency that would give a synergic interaction and could give a good response with the condition around the site.Â Keywords: Architecture, Â Festival marketplace, Creative industry, Metaphor

Indonesia is known as an agricultural country, which means Indonesia has high rate of agricultural production. However, Indonesia has not fully fulfilled its own food needs, seeing by the high number of food imports to Indonesia. Therefore, the government's agricultural development program is established which includes the development of science and technology (IPTEK) in agriculture. The application of Ecological Architecture theory is considered appropriate because it involves all related elements in the design of human, building and nature. This research is aimed to determine the design of research centre building which is able to facilitate the research activities in accordance with the standard of research space based on the principle of Ecological Architecture theory. The method used is data collection based on literature study, observation and comparation to the design object and application of Ecological Architecture theory, which is then applied as design strategies on the design object, starting from site selection, site analysis, as well as faÃ§ade analysis. From the analysis that has been done then generated a research centre design that can support the sustainability of agricultural research activities based on the application of Ecological Architecture theory.

Children with emotional and behavioral disorders are one of kind children with special education need. Education as a basic right of every child in Indonesia, especially children with emotional and behaviour disorder, has not been fully realized, this is due to the lack of awareness of parents and teachers. The earlier the children with emotional and behaviour disorders are detected, the higher the expectation to recovery is, so special elementary school for emotional and behaviour disorder facilities are essential. For designing a building that maximizes space program and environmental atmosphere available with the type of needs and program activities that take place, the healing environment is chosen as a design solution at the planned school. Healing environment is related to the creation of an environment that affects health by influencing action and interaction by applying the sensory, natural, and psychological aspects. Aspects of the healing environment will be applied to the spatial, site, form and mass arrangement, and landscape.

The quality of Indonesia's education in the international rankings is ranked low compared to other countries. On the other hand Indonesia has the potential of nature that can be utilized as a learning method that is with the natural school with nature as a medium of teaching. The use of biophilic design theory becomes important in order to create a natural school environment that can support a good learning atmosphere for learners later. This study aims to determine how appropriate design criteria for designing a planned natural school with biophilic design theory are used. The method used is to study the literacy of the theory and determine the appropriate theory to be used in the design strategy ranging from site selection, site processing, space processing and space quality, mass formation and mass management, and determining the appearance of buildings. Biophilic design design method and process of analysis that is done to produce natural school design design that can optimize the learning process in it.

Kali Besar is a river that stretches from South to North and there are two roads on both sides, namely: Jalan Kali Besar Barat and Jalan Kali Besar Timur. On the government's awareness of the importance of preservation of buildings and historic areas, since 2008 the City of Jakarta was established as a conservation area and became a tourist destination in Jakarta. Many things have been attempted by the government such as the improvement of public space which is to be one tourist destination for visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of the past. Above it then conducted a study to determine whether the influence of public space for the visual quality of the area, especially Kali Besar. This research uses quantitative method with post positivistic rationalist approach. The result of the research shows that there is influence of public space on visual quality in Kali Besar Jakarta area.

The design of Sleman Agricultural Vocational High School (SMK Pertanian Sleman) with the approach of ecological architecture is motivated by three things : the existence of agricultural potential in Sleman, the prospect of Agricultural Vocational School in Sleman, and the need to apply ecological architecture on buildings constructed in predominantly agricultural area. SMK Pertanian Sleman aims to educate the community in the surrounding area, create innovations, and aplace to learn modern agriculture. The method used is architectural design that combines the ecological architecture essence according to Heinz Frick, Wanda Widigdo, and V.A. Metallinaou which is combined with ecological architectural components according to Ken Yeang. The result is the design of educational facility which includesclassrooms, laboratories, mini market where students can sell their agricultre product, and other support rooms.
