Abstract

This research aimed to know the development of children's rough motoric through Boi creative game in Batubanawa Village, Mawasangka Timur District, Central Buton regency. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative, where descriptive qualitative research was research that studies the existing problems and working procedures that apply. The results of this research were that the development of children's rough motoric experienced the development; 8 of 9 children who played the game developed very well. This proves that Boi creation games can improve rough motoric skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge on the use of Javanese language that is not in accordance with unggah-ungguh, has an impact on the future of the language itself. Therefore, it is important to teach unggah-ungguh, from childhood by doing habituation. This research develops story book in Javanese Ngoko Alus or everyday language. The purpose of this research is to describe the feasibility of picture story books to improve the Javanese language skills of Ngoko Alus in children aged 5 – 6 years. This study uses a research and development method with the ADDIE research model. This study uses observation and questionnaires conducted online via Google form as data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the feasibility assessment from media experts got a percentage of 88% and material experts got a percentage of 86%, the percentage value was in the very feasible category. The results of the research data obtained from trials to kindergarten teachers in Mojokerto regency, 20 people get a percentage of 85.2%, the percentage value is in the very feasible category. It can be concluded that the Ngoko Alus Javanese picture story book media is feasible to use in learning Javanese.=

Abstract

The introduction of a healthy life was a habit that needed to be considered by every individual. Therefore, it was necessary to introduce early so that the habit of a healthy lifestyle can be a good habit attached to each individual. This study aimed to: (a) produce a picture book as a healthy life recognition media, (b) know the feasibility of the storybook as a healthy life introduction media, (c) know the effectiveness of pictorial story books as a healthy life-to-life recognition media. This type of research was research and development (R D) by adapting the Borg and Gall model. Stages of development included five stages: needs analysis, planning, initial product development, limited testing, and revised product test results. Needs analysis was carried out in this study to found out what the storybook was illustrated as a healthy life-to-life introduction media needed. Seven respondents responded that it was very necessary with a percentage of 100%. The story book titled "Temi’s Story" was tested on its validation and effectiveness. The results of validation by media experts were 100% very good. The results of the effectiveness test were obtained 75% feasible and 25% very feasible.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop early reading ability of early children through letter card games. This type of research is a type of classroom action research using Kurt Lewin's model including: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This action was carried out in two cycles, each cycle in two meetings with the subject of 16 children in group B of Tunas Bawang Kindergarten. The object of research focused on developing children's early reading skills through letter card games. The data collection methods covered observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques in the form of percentages of observations. The results showed that there was an increase in early reading ability which can be seen from 40% before the action. In the first cycle, it increased to 64.06% and in the second cycle, it increased by 90.95%. The improvement in early reading skills can be seen from the child being able to mention letter symbols, being able to name and grouping vowels and consonants, being able to name and grouping pictures, being able to combine letters into meaningful words, and being able to understand the meaning of pictures.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all important sectors such as education. This incident made parents take part in helping children learn from home including learning mathematics for grade 1 SD. This study aimed to analyze mathematics learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade 1 students at Al Ishlah Bukittinggi Islamic Elementary School in the 1st semester of the 2020/2021 school year. This type of research used descriptive qualitative. Collecting data used the method of documentation, interviews, questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study aim to see the learning activities, processes and expectations of children, parents and teachers during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine "The role of the family environment in shaping the prosocial behavior of early childhood in Lakambau Village, Batauga District, South Buton Regency". This research used descriptive qualitative research, which studies existing problems and applicable work procedures. This qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe what is currently happening. The unit of analysis used in this study was the family environment. The research results and the discussion indicated the role of the family in shaping the prosocial behavior of early childhood in the Lakambau Village, Batuaga District, South Buton Regency. This can be seen from the results of the data obtained in the Batuatas environment that the role of the family by providing examples, motivation, a sense of security/protection, and continuous supervision could shape the prosocial behavior of early childhood. The formation of prosocial behavior such as showing enthusiasm, obeying the applicable rules of the game, and showing empathy has begun to develop according to expectations and is relatively increasing.

Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing the effect of parental assistance in learning activities from home on the self-efficacy in children aged 4-6 years in RW 03 Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. This research used the survey method and Pearson Bivariate Correlation analysis. Samples were taken 55% of the total population, namely 30 parents. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The data collection technique used in this research was a questionnaire technique (questionnaire) for the two variables. This study resulted in a regression equation Y= 49.011 + 0.511X with the results of the correlation coefficient test yielding 0.429; and the coefficient of determination 18.4% interpreted the effect of parental assistance in learning activities from home on the self-efficacy in children aged 4-6 had a significant positive effect, the influence of parental assistance had a sufficient correlation on children's self-efficacy and parental assistance has an effect of 18.4% of the self-efficacy in children aged 4-6 years in RW 03 Rawabunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Abstract

COVID-19, which is still hitting Indonesia today, has made learning that was previously a face-to-face system to be changed to distance education. Teachers are required to have the competence to make distance learning media that is fun for students so that the expected learning objectives can be achieved, one of them is by making learning videos. This study aimed at analyzing the use of animated video media in early childhood. This research used a quantitative research approach with a descriptive survey method. The samples were 28 students who received animation video media stimulation from three teachers at the school. This research used Quasi Experiment Method. Hypothesis testing used the previous t-test in the form of prerequisite tests for normality analysis and homogeneity of variance. The study result indicated the value of 0.000 0.05, so there was an average difference between the pretest and posttest learning outcomes, which means that there was an effect of using peer tutor learning strategies in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

Strategy is essential in developing all aspects of early childhood development, including in developing aspects of children's creativity. However, some educators sometimes forget the role of strategy in the process of developing children's creativity. Therefore, this study analyzed the use of appropriate strategies to develop children's creativity. This study used an inquiry learning strategy to analyze the process of using inquiry learning strategies in optimizing children's creativity. This study used a qualitative research method with group B children in TK Jeumpa Ban Kemang as the research subjects. This study also used interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation with analytical techniques, Miles and Huberman. Based on this, the results obtained that the inquiry strategy was very appropriate to be used as a way to increase children's creativity.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop busy book developed based on audio to introduce sex education to children. Sex education is not only given when children reach their teens. Children should be introduced to sex education from an early age. This is a preventive measure to prevent sexual violence against children. The material contained in the busy book includes gender introduction, self-identity recognition, how to maintain body hygiene, limits on touching children's bodies, and prevention of sexual violence in children. This research is a RD research that adopts the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research produced a product in learning media as teaching materials to introduce sexual education to children aged 5-6 years. Based on the assessment of the learning media experts, the results were 86.25% in the appropriate category, and the material expert assessment got 91% results in the very feasible category. The response assessment of TK M NU students, Darunnajah Kamal, received 96% with a very decent category. Based on this research, it can be concluded that an audio-based busy book is appropriate to use in the application of the introduction of sex education for children aged 5-6 years.
