Abstract

As one of the tests, achievement test has to be qualified. A qualified test will be able to give the information about teaching correctly. If the achievement test is less qualified, the information related to students’ sucesss to achieve the instructional objective will also be less qualified. It means the test has to meet the characteristics of a good test. In fact, there has not been any effort yet to identify the quality of the achievement test which is used in Intensive English program. It means the information of the test quality cannot be found yet. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing the quality of achievement test for students in Intensive English program of IAIN Samarinda. Design of this research belongs to Content Analysis. Subject of this research is English achievement tests and 28 to 30 students were involved in the process of try out. Data were collected through three steps. Data were analyzed based on validity, reliability, and item quality. Finding of the research reveals 60 % of the tests have a good construct validity justified by related theories. It was found 55% of the tests have a good content validity. Reliability coefficient of the first tests format is 0, 65 and the second tests format shows 0, 52. Calculation of item difficulty shows 68% of the test items were between 0,20 – 0,80. The estimation of item discrimination shows 73% of the test items were between 0,20 – 0,50. While calculation of distracter efficiency shows 65% of the distracters were effective to distract the test takers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini hadir dalam rangka untuk memotret progress pendidikan serta upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat dalam mengembangkan pendidikan di perbatasan dengan berbagai kompleksitasnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field work research) yang mengambil fokus penelitian pada sekolah-sekolah di wilayah perbatasan Kalimantan Timur, yang memfokuskan penggalian datanya pada strategi sekolah dalam melakukan pengembangan, strategi membangun kemitraan, pola pendidikannya serta faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan 3 teknik, yakni observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul selanjutnya penulis menganalisis data dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Milles and Hubberman dengan alur: reduksi data, display data dan data conclutions. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan pada bab sebelumnya, maka penulis dapat mernaik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Strategi yang dikembangkan yaitu boarding school. Model penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah tersebut telah memadukan dua kategori yakni sekolah formal dengan asrama. Strategi sekolah dalam membangun kemitraan yakni dengan mengembangkan 4 hal, yaitu: relevansi yaitu, bahwa pendidikan yang diselenggarakan dapat menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap bentukan siswa ketika mereka bersekolah baik pada aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Kualitas yaitu sekolah dapat menghadirkan model penyelenggarakan pendidikan yang dapat merubah anak didik menjadi lebih baik, dalam konteks pendidikan perbatasan pemberdayaan anak dengan ragam keilmuan serta menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Otonomi kelembagaan yaitu sekolah menjadi dapat menjadi pelopor kepedulian terhadap nasib dan masa depan anak-anak perbatasan untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang layak dan bermutu. Pola pendidikan yang diterapkan antara lain: pendidikan boarding school, pendikan wawasan kebangsaan, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala dalam mengembangkan sekolah yaitu faktor geografis, minimnya tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang profesional, ketersedian sapras yang kurang memadai, dekadensi cinta tanah air, problem religiusitas serta minimya dukungan dari pemerintah pusat dan daerah.

Abstract

Islamic higher education is targeted to create a high qualified human resources. A tracer study could be used to gain a data about the flaws, both of the process of education and the process of learning, of the quality of Islamic higher educations. by knowing the flaws, it can be used to make a better planning in the future. The problem of this study are: 1) How is the appropriateness of the work-field of the alumnae and the study program of Islamic education program of IAIN Samarinda?, 2) How is the contributions of the curriculum of Islamic education program of IAIN Samarinda to the work-field?, 3) How is the improvement of curriculum of Islamic education program of IAIN Samarinda to create a high qualified alumnae? This is and evaluative research design which is objected to describe the profil of alumnae and the curriculum relevance at Islamic education program at IAIN Samarinda. In this study, the researcher used interview and documentation to collect the data. The researcher used interview guide and recording tools as the instruments. The result of the study shows that: firstly, most of alumnae work in the schools as teachers or administration staff. Secondly, curriculum of PAI at STAIN Samarinda proves in supporting the work of alumnae. Thirdly, the improvement of curriculum can be done by adjusting the content of curriculum with the work field, improving lecturers’ qualification, erlarging the practicum, empowering the alumnae with some competencies, and strengthening the subjects of teachers and educational content.

Abstract

Attempting to uncover the basic principles of the subject of multiculturalism with the meaning of the hadith in the book of Bulughul Marom, and their hujjah that can be known for the establishment of their legal.  The basic principles concept of multiculturalism contained in the hadist in the book of Bulughul Marom is upholding justice and the rule of law, disputing resolution, realizing of peace and harmony together, the urgent lofty morality and the necessity to respect the human rights, welfare and fostering an attitude of togetherness for the realization of solidarity and social sensitivity. While the hujjah status of hadith about the concept of multiculturalism entities generally have strong hujjah, or having Saheeh status. The majority of them are labeled with Muttafaq 'Alaih, and assessed as Saheeh' hadith for the famous ‘Ulama, such as Imam al-Hakim, Ibn Hibban and al-Turmudzi.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) analyze the mechanism for setting margin murabaha PT. Amanah Finance Makassar, (2) analyzing the reconstruction value of fairness in determining margin murabaha PT. Amanah Finance Makassar. The object of research is PT. Amanah Finance Makassar. This type of research is a field research (field research). Data collection method used, namely (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. The data in this study is divided into two kinds of data, primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data is archived murabahah, management and customers of PT. Amanah Finance Makassar. While secondary data sources, namely books, journals, and other sources of study other theories that it contains a discussion of the values of justice and determination of margin murabaha. Data were analyzed using descriptive method of analysis, namely an analysis of research that is intended to describe a particular factual situation systematically and accurately, which includes data reduction, data display and data verification. The results showed that the margin financing for the sale of products with murabahah PT. Amanah Finance Makassar is identical to the mark-up pricing method that is 1% -1.5% / month. PT. Amanah Finance has reconstructed the values of justice. It is based on the principle of justice: a) between the interests of customers and the BMT, b) the enforcement of Islamic economics syi'ar with the company's operational capability (including the interests of profit-seeking), and c) the ability of PT. Amanah Finance outlining the company with a significant market determination of margin proportional (not too small and not too big).Keywords: value of justice, margin of murabaha

Abstract

The concept of justice is a fundamental debate and is always actual throughout the life of humankind. Justice, in the history of human thought, began since the era of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. The concept or justice theorizing is still actual, not final yet, until nowadays. It is caused by its characteristics which are abstract and so meaningful. Therefore, it needs justice theorizing to find a comprehensive understanding about justice in order to find out components contained in it through research activity. One of the law purposes is justice. It needs law instruments to meet the law purpose such as Legislation, legal weight, customary law, canon law, and many others. All the law instruments can rule specific things such as provisions in the field of family law. Polygamy is a controversial problem whereby in its debate emerges various opinions primarily on the justice concept as the main requirement in polygamy. Some scholars interpret that justice in polygamy merely deals with material aspect. However, some others interpret that justice in polygamy covers the aspects of material and immaterial (love and compassion).

Abstract

Aqidah akhlak is one of the topics of Islamic education study program which is urgently and fundamentally importance since it explains and study the values of iman and akhlak. The values of iman and akhlak are fundamental values for student so that she/he could implement the appropriate good religious value and social value. The discussion of aqidah and akhlak becomes important in emerging the knowledge and understanding the iman, meanwhile at the same time the student enables to implement the iman values in his/her real life in the form of good akhlak. This is one of the urgencies of aqidah akhlak education which has a goal to collaborate the concept and the implementation of hablumminallah and hablum minannas fair and well. The pattern of the design and the development of aqidah akhlak teaching should be prepared and implemented well so that the teaching of it will be effective and efficient. By doing so, the goal of teaching will be achieved well.

Abstract

The slogan of Indonesia, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, should involve the concept and the implementation of diversity and mutlicultualisme to strengthen the unity of Indonesia people. In fact, there are still found many conflicts in Indonesia caused by the different religiouns and culture among Indonesian people and it will cause the obstacle to reach the unity in Indonesia. The different religioun and culture has not given any positif impact to Indonesia. Unfortunely, it causes some conflicts, misunderstandings, and fightings in Indonesia. To minimize it, the schools should teach the value of togetherness and tolerancy in adjusting and implementing the diversity. This kind of education can be taught by using the concept of multiculturalism education. As the representation of Indonesian diversity, it is an appropriate decision to have Kalimantan Timus as the subject of this multiculturalism research.

Abstract

This research wants to know proprietary tasawuf thinking by Anregurtta H. Abdurrahman Ambo Dalle (called Ambo Dalle) in his book in Bugis's lingual version “al Qawl al shadiq li Ma ’ rifat al Khaliq / ada tongeng tongengnge ri annessana pappejeppue ri puang pancajie“. Thus, this research is bibliographical observational type (library research) one that gets character descriptive analysis. Anregurutta Abdurrahman Ambo Dalle is constitute ulama's figure that combine among knowledge syariat and tasawuf's knowledge. Harmony who did by Anregurutta among knowledge syariat with reality knowledge is an effort for unbent tarekat's concept or flow (tasawuf) one that amends, notably on Bugis's society who restrains from al Qur'an and hadits. That thing is looked while Anregurutta combine among bodily religious service and spritual religious service, one that religious service comes into the world is territorial temporary carnal job religious service, spritual is territorial heart job which is as recitation (remember) to God and that is core than religious service in Islamic. Such too its criticism to tasawuf's teaching with concept ittihad and hulul,  which is a concept that teaches one to declare for self a slave until to its The Infinite upon remembers (recitation) and at that moment as one with God, therefore expression “العابد والمعبود واحد “ while Anregurutta Ambo Dalle is “ العابد واحد والمعبود واحد ”

Abstract

This paper presents a ngejot tradition which is a da’wah bil hal that has contributed a lot to the establishment of religious harmony in Bali, especially in Buleleng Regency. This is based on the lack of people that not interested by da’wah bil hal method in Islamic da'wah activities today. This research focuses on the values of Islamic teachings that contained in ngejot tradition, so it is expected to be a solution of harmony among religious communities in Indonesia, especially in Bali. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. The results showed that, ngejot tradition is an implementation of da’wah bil hal that contains some values such as silaturrahim, shadaqah, musawa and tasamuh.
