Abstract. This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the students’ learning outcomes of IPA in class VII A, through the Iqro’ learning model with support of video media in SMP Negeri 2 Amali at Bone regency. Subject of this research consisted of 18 students of class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Amali consisting of 10 men and 8 women in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles with six meetings. The data retrieval of students’ learning outcomes is done in the end of every cycle. Technique of data collection in this research used instrument in the form of a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice consist 25 numbers. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result of data analysis showed that the average value of students learning outcomes increase from 70,78 in the end of cycle I increase to 85,11 in cycle II. The completeness of students’ learning outcomes in the end of cycle I 61,11% and become 88,89 in cycle II. It can be conclude that the Iqro’ learning model with video media improve the students’ learning outcomes of IPA in class VII A SMP Negeri 2 Amali at Bone regency. Abstract. The implementation of the industrial revolution 4.0 policy had a significant impact on the achievement of several strategic fields to support government programs in advancing Indonesia primarily in the field of Education as a basis in science and supporting the technological development process in the field of Education. The 4.0 industrial revolution policy in the field of Education is used to be able to maximize learning media in supporting the learning process so that it gives an impact on the understanding of the murky and is mainly able to implement the knowledge in daily life. The use of cartoon media in the learning process is a form of progress in the field of Education, cartoon media is used as a medium in the learning process to provide interest to the murmur of elementary schools to easily understand the information conveyed through cartoon shows as a learning media in science learning, especially in discussions environment. The impact of the use of cartoon as a learning medium for elementary school students has a pretty good impact on understanding how to protect the environment, so the results of this study directly have a positive impact on the development of elementary school students thinking about the environment and ways to preserve the environment in learning Science. Abstract. The use of learning media is something that cannot be separated and is already an integration of the learning methods used, learning media can explain what the teacher is not able to say through words, so abstractness is in accordance with the existing concepts. This study aims to study how the influence of the use of android-based learning media on learning biology circulating class XI SMA. By using android students can better understand the concepts in learning, can repeat lessons that do not need to consider from face to face time in class, and can also make students to learn independently because of the availability of subject matter that can be accessed using Android. The results of this study prove that the incorporation of android in learning can attract students' interest and motivation in learning and also help students understand the concepts in the circulation system and can make students learn independently. Abstract: This research is descriptive correlational with a simple paradigm research design that aims to find out the correlation between study habits and student learning outcomes. The sample of this study is a saturated sample that is entirely from the population of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung amounting to 85 students, saturated sample intends to make generalizations with very small errors. Measured study habits include 7 indicators, namely regular Biology learning, preparation for learning in the night, came early to attend the class, conditions / learning atmosphere, learning to understand and to the point, habit of facing exams and practice of visiting the library. The study data of study habits were obtained through a questionnaire and the learning outcomes were obtained from secondary data on the student achievement of the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year which were then processed by Product Moment correlation analysis (r) and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that (1) Study habits of students grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung is at a good category with an average of 71.98. (2) Biology achievement of student grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung is found out in high category with an average of 76.12. (3) There is a relationship between the study habits and biology achievement of eleventh grade students at senior high school 1 Tinambung. The correlation level obtained is 11.5% and classified as weak or low correlation. Keywords: student habits, student achievements.

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning outcomes of class X IPA SMA Satria Makassar through the use of Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning models. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPA SMA Satria Makassar for the odd semester in academic year 2018/2019 which consists of 20 students. The data collection techniques include learning activity data obtained through observation sheets and data on student biology learning outcomes obtained using student biology learning outcomes tests which are then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of observations of student learning activities showed generally an increase from cycle I to cycle II in each student learning activity observed. The results of quantitative descriptive statistical analysis of the students' biology learning outcomes indicate that the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle were 54.0% and in the second cycle were 78.7%. so that the percentage obtained increase in student biology learning outcomes by 24.7%. Abstract. This research is aimed to produce a Student Worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school that is valid and practical. The type of this research is research and development (R & D). The development of this student worksheet used ADDIE models. The stages of ADDIE are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate . The evaluation of this student worksheet is evaluated by two expert validators. The validity product of student worksheet based guided inquiry is obtained from expert validators with a validity score of 4,11 (valid). The practicality of the product is obtained from teachers response with a practicality score of 89.75 (very practical) and students response with a practicality score of 86.0075 (very practical). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the development of student worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school is valid and practical. Abstract. This study aims to determine the application of Thinking Empowerment Patterns Through Questions (PBMP) in the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) to improve activities and learning outcomes in applied microbiology courses in Biology Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education UMMA. This type of research is a class action research (Class Room Action Research) which involves repetitive or cyclic reflection. The subjects of this study were students of biology education study programs who were taking courses in Applied Microbiology in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation and test techniques. The learning outcomes test was carried out at the end of each cycle to determine the extent of student understanding of the material provided. The collected data is then analyzed using percentage techniques, descriptive statistics, and qualitative analysis. The results of this study are patterns of empowerment of thinking through questions in the two stay two stray learning model can improve student learning activities and outcomes. Abstract. This study is a quasi experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest design that aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of direct instruction learning models in the study of biology in kingdom monera material. The study sample was randomly selected and selected class X MIA 2 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques through giving tests before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning to measure student learning outcomes and observation of learning activities of students during the learning process. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with t test. The results showed that the direct instruction learning model was effectively applied in the biology learning class X MAN 1 Makassar in Kingdom Monera material. Improved student learning outcomes are seen in the normalized gain average of 0.7423 which is in the high category. The proportion of students who reach KKM or in the complete category after being taught with Direct Instruction learning model is 78.95%. The activities of students as much as 81.58% are in the active category. Keywords: direct instruction, learning outcomes, learning activities.

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to develop humor-based teaching materials on environmental pollution material for class VII students who are valid and practical. This type of research is development research (R & D). The development of this magazine uses the ADDIE model. The ADDIE stage is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This magazine's evaluation was evaluated by two expert validators. The results of the evaluation of biological humor comics by expert validators show that the biology humor comics are valid with a value of 4.49 (valid). The practicality of the product obtained from the teacher's response with a value of 83% (practical) and the response of students with a value of 81% (practical). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of biological humor comics in environmental pollution material is valid and practical. Keywords: comics, humor, teaching materials

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the TGT cooperative learning model with rotary wheel media on the learning outcomes of STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental which takes two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The subjects of this study were even semester 2018/2019 students. The study was conducted in each class as many as 8 hours of study. The technique of data collection in this study uses instruments in the form of test results in the form of multiple choices. Data analysis using descriptive statistics using percentages and inferential statistics with t-test. The results showed that (a) from the results of the descriptive analysis, the mean value of the learning outcomes of the experimental class biology students 77.20 while in the control class 65.05 (b) from the results of inferential analysis using the confidence level t0.05 found that. The critical area H0 is rejected if p value (Sig. (2-tailed)) = 0.027. Because the test statistic is p value (Sig. (2-tailed)) <0.05 then H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning outcomes between students taught using the TGT cooperative learning model with rotary wheel media and without using the TGT cooperative learning model with rotary wheel media.
