Abstract

The Learning Material Development Training Utilizing Augmented Reality Technology at SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin I aimed to enhance teachers' digital skills in creating interactive, AR-based teaching materials. Involving 33 teachers, the training was carried out through three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation phase included a needs assessment and interviews to understand the technological limitations at the school and teachers' familiarity with AR. Based on this assessment, training materials were developed covering AR fundamentals and the use of the Assemblr Edu application. During the implementation phase, participants attended theory sessions on AR concepts and practical sessions using Assemblr Edu to develop teaching materials for their respective subjects. Evaluation was conducted via pre-tests, post-tests, and a satisfaction survey. Results showed that 85% of participants successfully produced suitable AR-based teaching materials, while 93% gave a satisfaction rating of 4 or higher. This program effectively improved teachers' skills in AR technology use, laying a foundation for more interactive and modern learning experiences at the school.

Abstract

This community service program aims at enhancing the counseling skills of vocational school guidance and counseling teachers (MGBK) in Malang through the implementation of Virtual Reality (VR) technology based on the metaverse. Initial survey results indicated that most BK teachers faced difficulties in utilizing digital technology, especially VR, and continued to manage counseling services using conventional methods. These challenges affected the effectiveness of service documentation and the comfort of the counseling environment. The program was carried out in four main stages: socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. This approach allowed counseling sessions to be conducted online in a flexible way. BK teachers were trained to use konse-link.com as a platform for managing counseling services, including appointment scheduling, documentation, and conducting sessions within a virtual environment. Evaluation results showed significant improvement on teachers’ understanding and skills in using VR and LMS platforms, along with an increase in the frequency of services provided. Student responses were also positive; they reported feeling more comfortable, open, and supported in expressing their concerns through virtual counseling approaches. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable solution for improving the quality of guidance and counseling services in vocational schools, in line with technological developments in education.

Abstract

The processing of organic waste in Jambangan village was burned and transported to another location. Relocation of waste to other sites required high costs, and burning waste gave a risk on respiratory problems and fires in the environment.  The Partner Village Development Program aims to provide training in processing organic waste into organic fertilizer for the Barokah I Farmers Group. The method used was training in composting technology for organic waste to produce organic fertilizer. The result showed that organic waste processing in Jambangan village can be carried out by supporting of the farmer groups, village officials and extension workers from the Malang Regency Ministry of Religion Office. Organic waste was obtained from sorting households waste before being used as organic fertilizer. Organic waste of plant stover needs to be chopped into smaller sizes to facilitate the fermentation process. Aerobic composting technology based on chopped plant stover is applied using the stack method and requires a fermentation time of 4 weeks. The fermented compost needs to be sifted to obtain a fine size before being used or packaged.  The next program requires assistance in compost production as a fertilizer for agricultural soil in Jambangan village.

Abstract

Illegal fishing in Aceh Singkil, including destructive fishing practices by fishermen, threatens maritime security, reduces local fishermen's catches, diminishes the welfare of coastal communities, and damages the marine environment. So far, case reporting has been done manually, which is ineffective and slow. To address this issue, the community service team introduced digital technology for reporting illegal fishing. Considering that the Aceh Singkil community is transitioning from traditional to modern practices, socialization of technology usage is crucial. This socialization was conducted through lectures and discussions. As a result, participants, including Panglima Laot and fishermen, understood the importance of technology in their tasks. Evaluations showed an increase in understanding, collective awareness of sustainable marine resource management, and strengthened Panglima Laot's position as a government partner. With this technology, reporting is expected to be faster, more accurate, and more effective in protecting marine ecosystems and improving the welfare of coastal communities. Furthermore, the implementation of digital technology is expected to enhance transparency and accountability in addressing illegal fishing cases. With the web-based reporting system and the SIKAPAL application, each report can be well-documented, facilitating relevant authorities in responding to reports more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

MSMEs or Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the business units that have contributed to economic growth and have proven to minimize economic inequality, especially at the lower middle class level. One of the MSMEs in Jabung Village, Kemantren District, Malang Regency is MJP or Muncul Jaya Pasteurization. These MSMEs produce pasteurized milk with good properties for health. However, there are several obstacles that prevent this product from entering the market widely, namely the absence of an NIB or business identification number and the lack of digital promotion so that the marketing of this product is only limited. Based on this, this service was carried out to increase understanding of the knowledge of market requirements using NIB, as well as how to manage product marketing through digital media and label branding. The results of this service are increased knowledge of producers regarding marketing requirements through the NIB scheme and digital marketing media, the issuance of NIB documents as an initial requirement for making PIRT numbers or Household Industry Food and the inclusion of NIB numbers on product labels and increased product consumers after marketing through digital marketing methods.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is very necessary to facilitate students to obtain equal rights in classroom learning. With various backgrounds ranging from learning styles and learning methods of students and student categories (audio, visual, and kinesthetic), teachers are expected to be able to teach creatively and innovatively. However, not all teachers understand this, therefore it is necessary to conduct differentiated learning training using the Know, Want to know, and Learned (KWL) strategy so that teachers do not feel lectured in delivering their materials. This activity used 4 stages of implementation, the first stage K (Know), teachers were asked to write down what they know about differentiated learning, the second stage W (Want to know), what teachers wanted to learn related to differentiated learning, the third stage was the presentation of the material and the fourth stage L (learned), at this final stage, participants were asked to write down what they have learned from the presentation of the material and the discussions that have been carried out together. The results of the questionnaire stated that almost all participants felt happy and enthusiastic about participating in this activity and would apply differentiated learning in their respective classes.
