Abstract

Randusari is one of the sub-districts in Pasuruan City. Randusari is known as one of the centers of the furniture industry in Pasuruan City. This community service aims to increase the production capacity of UD. Sumber Urip furniture through the Implementation of Android-Based CNC Machines. This community service was carried out because of problems from UD. Sumber Urip in the form of a lack of production tools in the form of carving machines, resulting in carving work using manual tools that are ineffective in terms of time and energy. The solution to this problem is the provision of an android-based CNC machine that functions as a carving machine and cutting machine. The method used in this community service is a workshop on machine use and mentoring and monitoring of success which is held once a month. The results of this community service are a.) UD Sumber Urip gets additional production tools so that it can increase production capacity. b). Increasing UD. Sumber Urip's knowledge in operating android-based CNC machines. c). Increasing UD. Sumber Urip's knowledge in maintaining CNC machines.

Abstract

The community service program conducted in Watugede Village, Singosari, aims to enhance environmental security through the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The rapid population and economic growth in the Banjararum View housing area has posed serious security challenges, such as theft and robbery. To address these issues, the IoT Guard system was introduced, which integrates an ESP32 WiFi-based automatic barrier gate and CCTV cameras for real-time monitoring. This system allows for remote access control via a mobile application and accurate activity log recording. The program was implemented through several stages, including socialization to the residents, training on system usage, technology implementation, and impact evaluation. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in environmental security, a decrease in crime rates, and increased community involvement in maintaining security. The sustainability of the program is designed by involving the community in the management and maintenance of the applied technology. Thus, this model is expected to be replicable in other environments to create safer and more controlled areas, providing long-term benefits for the community.

Abstract

Early disaster literacy is essential in fostering preparedness among elementary school students, particularly in disaster-prone areas such as the vicinity of Mount Raung. However, disaster education in schools is often limited to conventional approaches that fail to fully engage young learners. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and preparedness at SDN 3 Jambewangi through an educational initiative based on Virtual disaster simulation. The program was implemented in three main phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation phase, students received basic disaster knowledge and participated in virtual simulations using Virtual Reality (VR) technology that depicted interactive disaster scenarios. The results demonstrated significant improvements in students’ understanding of disaster concepts, active engagement during simulation sessions, and their ability to articulate mitigation procedures independently. In addition, the project included the installation of evacuation routes and assembly points within the school environment as a form of infrastructure support. Overall, this program successfully provided an immersive and contextual learning experience, while strengthening the school’s preparedness system in facing potential natural disasters.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the capacity of high school geography teachers in Banjarmasin to develop digital-based learning media using Google Sites. The program responded to the limited use of digital tools in geography education, particularly in integrating spatial data, interactive maps, and local content. With the growing need for innovative, contextual, and accessible learning, the program involved stages of preparation, training, simulation, and mentoring. Google Sites emerged as a free, easy-to-use alternative solution. Google Sites offers the advantage of being an easily accessible, flexible, and free platform, making it an ideal choice for geography learning in the context of high school teaching in Banjarmasin City. A total of 30 geography teachers participated. The results showed improved teacher skills in designing integrated instructional websites. This highlights the importance of continuous training and technical support to enhance digital competencies among educators. This program is expected to serve as a model for enhancing the pedagogical competence of high school geography teachers in addressing the challenges of 21st-century learning. In addition, the results of this activity have implications for improving the quality of high school geography learning in Banjaramsin City, particularly through the integration of technology during learning activities.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program was implemented to enhance the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors with disabilities in Banyuwangi in the areas of branding and digital marketing. The program was specifically designed to address challenges of accessibility, social stigma, and limited access to technology faced by MSMEs with disabilities in building competitive brands. The activities were carried out through three stages: preparation stage in the form of coordination and socialization, implementation of training using modules (basic branding with an inclusive approach, visual design based on accessible technology, and adaptive digital marketing), and continuous evaluation. The approach used integrates digital accessibility principles and branding strategies that utilize the uniqueness of disability identity as product differentiation. Quantitative achievements showed significant improvements in branding comprehension (73%), brand name development (85%), logo creation (80%), design technology mastery (75%), and digital marketing planning (90%). Qualitative achievements include participants' success in forming brand identities that utilize disability perspectives as unique value, increased self-confidence, motivation, and the ability to transform disability identity into competitive advantage. The program demonstrates the effectiveness of inclusive approaches in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs with disabilities sustainably.

Abstract

Organizational behavior training constitutes one of the pivotal approaches in enhancing the quality of learning for Vocational High School (SMK) teachers. The primary issue identified was the insufficient understanding among teachers regarding the significance of organizational behavior in creating an effective learning environment. Through this training, teachers are equipped to comprehend group dynamics, effective communication, and leadership that can influence the classroom learning atmosphere. Consequently, organizational behavior training for SMK teachers represents a crucial step in efforts to improve learning quality. This training aims to enhance teachers' organizational behavioral competencies, thereby improving learning quality. This Community Service activity for 2025 is designed to enhance organizational behavior understanding among teachers at SMK Yadika Bangil Pasuruan, enabling material delivery to be conducted in a more structured manner and relevant to industrial needs. The implementation methodology in this Community Service activity comprises material presentation methods and practical/mentoring approaches. The outcomes of this service include enhanced teacher capacity in making appropriate learning decisions based on student needs, as well as promoting the creation of more effective, contextual teaching and learning processes oriented toward the work readiness of SMK Yadika Bangil graduates. Consequently, an improvement in learning quality within the vocational school environment is anticipated.

Abstract

Pusung Kapal Village has ecological and geological potential, positioning it as a promising geotourism destination. However, its current utilization remains limited due to insufficient geospatial information regarding the area's potential and a lack of facilitated spatial data-driven tourism management. This community sevice program was conducted in Pusung Kapal Village, Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province. The primary objective of this project was to accelerate geotourism development through territorial potential mapping and the implementation of geospatial technology-based innovations. The target of community service is the community and tourism-aware groups in Pusung Kapal Village. This service aims to accelerate the development of geotourism through mapping the potential of the area and implementing innovations based on geospatial technology. The activities consist of a preparation stage, an implementation stage, an evaluation stage, and a reporting stage. The outcomes derived from this endeavor include 1) enhanced community competency in geotourism mapping and promotion, 2) the distribution map of geotourism site footprints; 3) the geotourism promotional video of Pusung Kapal Village, 4) the geotourism information website of Pusung Kapal Village. This activity is expected to foster community self-reliance in their efforts to advance geotourism destinations within Pusung Kapal Village.

Abstract

This community engagement program aims to empower the "Kana Tojeng" craftswomen group in Bontokassi Village, Galesong Selatan District, Takalar Regency, through training in e-commerce-based marketing of woven products made from lontara fiber. The primary issues faced by the partners include limited understanding of digital marketing, lack of an established online business identity, and underutilization of e-commerce platforms. The method applied was an educational-participatory approach, consisting of observation, awareness sessions, hands-on training, and evaluation. The results show a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills, with pre-test scores at 50.30% and post-test scores reaching 86.19%. The program also resulted in the activation of e-commerce accounts and enhanced digital marketing capabilities among local artisans. Supporting factors included high participant enthusiasm and contextual learning materials, while limitations in digital infrastructure emerged as the main challenge. This initiative demonstrates that integrating information technology into local business management is an effective strategy for enhancing the competitiveness of culturally rooted products.

Abstract

Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) is a community organization created to help families with the aim of improving community welfare. PKK plays an important role in improving skills and opening new opportunities in the family economy and improving the quality of life. One of the PKK empowerments carried out by the community service team is to hold bead and ecoprint training which aims to improve skills, creativity, economic empowerment, and preserve the environment using natural materials. The beads and ecoprint training organized for PKK women in Jambeyan Village aims to increase skills, creativity, and community income. The method used in this training involves two stages, namely planning and implementing activities. The focus of the workshop activities was on socialization and training of beads and ecoprints to representatives of the Jambeyan Village PKK. An introduction to beads and ecoprints, activity mapping, and practical instructions for making beads and ecoprint tote bags are part of this training. The training was considered successful because the attendance and participation plans of participants had met the requirements.

Abstract

This training program, conducted as part of a community service initiative, aims to enhance English teachers’ competencies in integrating local wisdom and environment insight into learning, with an emphasis on teaching practice (peer teaching) and simulations using innovative media. The program was implemented through a series of training sessions that provided each participant with opportunities to practice teaching strategies, develop materials based on regional potential, and design authentic assessments. Pre-test results showed that most teachers were in the moderate category in understanding and applying local wisdom-based learning, with weaknesses in the aspects of authentic evaluation and material format suitability. During the training, the peer teaching model enabled teachers to provide constructive feedback to each other, while innovative media simulations encouraged creativity and technological skills. Questionnaire feedback indicated that teachers felt this method helped “bring the learning context closer to students’ lives.” These findings confirm that combining peer teaching with innovative media simulations is effective in improving teachers’ pedagogical skills while reinforcing the relevance of teaching materials to local contexts.
