Abstract

Learning to write announcements based on the theme in grade IV SDN Gudangkopi I experienced problems. Therefore, researchers chose the method of Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) as a solution. In this research use Kemmis and Taggart Class Action Research (PTK) design. The instruments used are observation guides, interview guides, field notes and evaluation questions. Validation of data used is member check, triangulation, and expert opinion. Based on the results of research, teacher performance planning increased every cycle that is, the cycle I 88.89%, 92.59% II cycle, and 100% III cycle. Implementation of teacher performance has increased that is cycle I 58,59%, cycle II 97,44%, and cycle III 100%. Assessment of student activity increased in cycle I 7,69%, cycle II 30,77%, and cycle III 88,46%. The learning results of writing skills are also increasing. In the first cycle students complete 6 people (23.07%), cycle II 16 students complete (61.54%), and cycle III students complete 23 people (88.46%). Thus proving that the Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) method can improve the writing skills of announcement by theme.

Abstract

From the findings in the field, the results of learning IPS on the material of the historical heritage of Islam in Indonesia is still less than the maximum.As an effort to improve learning outcomes, a cooperative learning model (jigsaw) is supported by the puzzle media. Classroom Action Research Methods are performed with an implementation procedure that refers to the Kemmis Taggart spiral model. The instrument is a teacher performance observation sheet in planning and implementing learning, student activities, learning outcomes, and field notes. The results of action implementation, the percentage of teacher performance in planning cycle I 86%, cycle II and III reach the target that is 100%. Percentage of teacher performance in implementing cycle I 83%, cycle II 92,9%, and 100% cycle III. Percentage of student activity of cycle I 53%, cycle II 83%, and cycle III 90%. The percentage of learning result in preliminary data from 33 students only 9 people (27%) who complete the KKM is 70. A complete cycle of 18 students (60%), cycle II 26 people (86.7%), and cycle III 27 people (90%) exceeded the target of 82%. Thus, through the application of cooperative learning model (jigsaw) media-assisted puzzle student learning outcomes on the material of Islamic heritage in Indonesia can be increased.

Abstract

Learning cycle makes student to have active role in learning process at class. While, science process skills demand student to have active role in having science experiment. Therefore, there is between learning cycle and science process skill. This research took the sample in particular from three classes were grouped into 3 group which are high, middle, and low (TSR), the determination on the test result knowledge of natural science (KAIPA). The three groups were given only one learning method, which is using Learning Cycle. Pre-experimental method was used with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The result of research with significance level α = 0,05 indicates that  Learning Cycle can improve student’s science process skills in group TSR. However, the difference test results of the three averages data gain group TSR shows the value of 0,331. In conclusion, there is no difference in the improvement of student’s science process skills in TSR Group.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observation in VIth grader students SDN 1 Kaliwadas obtained a problem, namely teacher centered learning.The teacher in the learning method using lectures and assignments so that students quickly feel bored in following the learning. This resulted in low students learning outcomes. Based on these conditions applied inquiry learning in order to overcome the problem. because inkuiry learning emphasizes students to seek and find their own answers to problems or in other words student centered learning. This research uses classroom action rresearch with research design referring to Kemmis and Taggart. The research process is carried out for three cycles. The research that has been done can be concluded that the application of inkuiry learning can improve student learning outcomes on sound energy materials. It is proven that the target of learning achievement that is 85% of all students reach KKM, 91% of students expressed on the learning.

Abstract

Preliminary data shows 6 of 20 grade school students gunungsari as the subject of study has not reached kkm. It is because several factors of teachers and students. Their effort to improve these problems by applying model examples non examples. Researchers used the methodology quantitative and qualitative spiral model research class action (PTK) start the planning stages , implementation , observation and reflection. Increasing proven from the observation the planning stage cycle I (86,7%), cycle II (100%), and the cycle III (100%). The performance of teachers cycle I (80%), cycles II (95%), and cycle III (100%). The activity of students cycle I (75,4%), cycle II (82,1%), and cycle III (90%). Study results students cycle I ( 55 % ), cycle II (75%), and cycle III (90%). Thus through model Examples Non Examples , the learning and linguistic survey intelligence SDN Gunungsari Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten sumedang increased.

Abstract

The use of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with “MURDER” strategy in primary schools is still rare in Indonesia. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategy "MURDER" is one of the main innovative and appropriate collaboration between the approaches and strategies to give effect to the students' mathematical reasoning skills. Students’ mathematical reasoning skills is one of the main skill that students need to have in the problem solving process. This study was conducted to determine the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategy "MURDER" of mathematical reasoning skills of students. The method used is a quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research is the entire class of grade V elementary school in Kuningan regency, with the sample chosen SDN 4 Jalaksana as an experimental class and SDN Padamenak as the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of writing official invitation letter students by applying the game “Aku Pemburu Pokemon”. This research was conducted in three cycles, using research of class action model of Kemmis and Taggart covering the stage of planning, implementationand observation and analysis and reflection. The result show that the game “Aku Pemburu Pokemon” can increase student participation during the learning activities take place, increase student cooperation with friends, and increase the motivation of student to continue to practice their ability in writing official invitation letter. This resulted in student activity increased to 95% in the third cycle. In addition to student activity, the learning result also increased by 95% in the third cycle. This is the result of teacher performance in planning and implementing learning that reaches 100% in third cycle.

Abstract

Based on observation taken on learning natural science subject of  sound energy in class IV SDN Sindang II the outcome of  learning of most student does not exceed Minimum Accomplishment Criteria. Due to the problem, this research is conducted by applying discovery learning model on science subject of sound energy. The objective of the research is to determine development of learning planning, performance of teacher, student activity, and outcome of student learn. The research uses class action research method that applying spiral model of Kemmis and Taggart that consists of the stage of planning, actuating, observation and reflection. This research shows on every phase planning of learning, teacher performance, student activity and student learning outcome was increased. Therefore, that application of Discovery Learning Model on learning of sound energy subject enhance outcome of student learn.

Abstract

The background of the research in the 5th grade of Primary School Randegan Wetan 1 is the discovery of the fact that the results of student learning on the material changes in the nature of the object is still low. This is because the material obtained by students is less meaningful. To overcome these problems it will be applied Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) model. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 5th graders of Randegan Wetan 1 Primary School, which amounted to 30 students. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on material changes in the properties of objects. This research process is done for three cycles because result learn student reach target at cyle III with percentage 87%. In this case it can be concluded that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve student learning outcomes
