Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media jendela bencana dan pengaruh media gambar peristiwa alam terhadap hasil belajar siswa, serta untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media jendela bencana lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media gambar peristiwa alam dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi peristiwa alam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah SDN Balongan IV sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Balongan III sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes hasil belajar siswa, observasi kinerja guru dan kinerja siswa, serta angket respon siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media jendela bencana dan media gambar peristiwa alam dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji perbedaan rata-rata nilai gain, pembelajaran menggunakan media jendela bencana lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran menggunakan media gambar peristiwa alam dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi peristiwa alam.

Abstract

Critical thinking will appear in students during the learning exercises, the teacher is able to build patterns of interaction and student communication actively. One of the best learning methods used to improve students' thinking skills is the Pictorial Riddle method. The sample of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN Ranjiwetan I, SDN Ranjiwetan IV, and SDN Ranjiwetan V which are all three as experimental class. The instruments used in this study are test and non test. As the results of research with significance level = 0.05 indicates the method of learning. Riddle can improve high, medium, and low thinking skills. However, there is no average difference between mindset in high, medium, and low group. Students' responses in learning using the Pictorial Riddle method by teachers are very high.

Abstract

The reserach based on to know chritical thingking skill of high, middle, dan low group student through learning start with questions. The sample of this research is V class student of 95 students from Margamukti Elementary School, Mandalaherang Elementary Scholl I, adn Mandalaherang Elementary School II. The method used is pre-experimental and one-group-pretest-posttest design wth the same treatment from three schools. Instrumen used on the research is KAIPA test chritical thinking skills test, teacher performance observation, student activity observation, and questionnaire. Result of research using significance level  showed that each group can improve chritical thingking skill with learning start with questions. The results showed that high group chritical thinking skill with is better than middle and low group, and middle group chritical thinking skills is better than low group

Abstract

Adanya penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya guru yang tidak memberikan pengalaman yang bermakna pada siswa ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salahsatu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu melalui model pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat, karena di dalam pembelajarannya siswa didorong untuk mencari solusi permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode konvensional.Hasil uji perbedaan rata-rata menggunakan uji-Udengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat lebih baik secara signifikan daripada metode konvensional dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Artinya, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Sains Teknologi Mayarakat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada materi peristiwa alam, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini tercapai dengan baik.Kata Kunci: Model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat, Pembelajaran Konvensional, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan, rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan oleh pembelajaran di kelas masih teacher-centered, dan karakteristik siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran itu berbeda-beda. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut, dipilih model Visual, Auditory, dan Kinesthetic (VAK). Desain penelitian ini berupa eksperimen murni dengan sampelnya siswa kelas V SDN Paseh 2 dan SDN Legok 1. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi kinerja guru dan aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil uji perbedaan rata-rata menunjukkan  terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai post test di kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata nilai post test di kelas kontrol. Simpulannya adalah model VAK lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar.Adapun faktor yang mendukung pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model VAK adalah guru memiliki kreativitas yang optimal dalam pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah siswa gaduh pada saat pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Model Visual, Auditory, dan Kinestethic (VAK), materi sifat-sifat Cahaya.

Abstract

Learning cycle makes student to have active role in learning process at class. While, science process skills demand student to have active role in having science experiment. Therefore, there is between learning cycle and science process skill. This research took the sample in particular from three classes were grouped into 3 group which are high, middle, and low (TSR), the determination on the test result knowledge of natural science (KAIPA). The three groups were given only one learning method, which is using Learning Cycle. Pre-experimental method was used with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The result of research with significance level α = 0,05 indicates that  Learning Cycle can improve student’s science process skills in group TSR. However, the difference test results of the three averages data gain group TSR shows the value of 0,331. In conclusion, there is no difference in the improvement of student’s science process skills in TSR Group.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi membandingkan isi dua teks di kelas VA SDN Sindangraja Kabupaten Sumedang diketahui bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam membandingkan isi dua teks masih rendah. Permasalahan yang dialami siswa yaitu kesulitan dalam membandingkan isi dua teks dengan mencari persamaan dan perbedaan dari kedua teks tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan metode Generating Interaction Between Schemata And Text (GIST). Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kinerja guru dalam mengajar, aktivitas siwa, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam membandingkan isi dua teks. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Setelah dilaksanakan penelitian sebanyak 3 siklus, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga penerapan model STAD dan metode GIST telah meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa kelas VA SDN Sindangraja Kabupaten Sumedang dalam membandingkan isi dua teks. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the science process skills improvement students learning model by using inkuiri on thermal energy of matter in class IV SDN Bangkir and SDN Parakanmuncang I. The research is used a method of pre-experimentals with one groupz pretest posttest designs research. The instruments test used in basic ability of IPA (KAIPA), test of science process skills. The results of this research show the results of calculation of average difference test pretest and posttest high group by using paired t-test, for medium group by using the wilcoxon test, and for low group by using a paired t-test that shows the results of the p-value (Sig) 0.000 which means that p-value significance level α α = 0.05 indicates an increase in science process skills students in the high group , medium and low group learning model by using inkuiri.

Abstract

The research aimed to improve teacher performance in the planning stage is also in the implementation stage, increasing student activity and student learning outcomes. This research is done by applying inquiry model of learning. This inquiry study can help solve the problems that occur in science learning, especially in the material properties of objects. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of elementary school of Lembursitu. The method used in this research is classroom action research using observation guides, interview guides, field notes and tests as research instruments. This study lasted for three cycles because the new targets were achieved in the third cycle. The target is determined on the performance of teachers is 100%, while the activity and learning outcomes of students is 90%. Based on the results of research proved that learning science can create a conducive atmosphere because students are active in learning. Students are also able to find their own knowledge that makes learning more meaningful. In addition, teacher performance is also increasing with the application of inquiry learning.

Abstract

CTL approach can improve student learning outcomes, make students more active, creative and enthusiastic in learning, follow the learning activities well and can answer the teacher evaluation questions quickly and accurately. From the data obtained in class IV SDN Cipameungpeuk experiencing problems can be seen from the initial data retrieval obtained by researchers from 24 students who complete the KKM only 5 students. Therefore it needs to be improved from the learning process and learning outcomes. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. To declare the data obtained then it needs to be validated. The process in this study was done three cycles to improve it. After making improvements as many as three cycles that the students' learning outcomes increased 50%, 70% to 87%. In this case by applying the CTL approach can obtain significant results.
