Abstract

The construction service sector is one of the sectors that has a high risk of both work accidents and occupational diseases, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of development activities are still carried out by implementing the Covid-19 prevention protocol. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between internal factors (age, nutritional status, and work period) and external factors (length of work and workload) with work fatigue to workers in the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road Development Project. This study used a quantitative analytical method with cross sectional design. The population of this study were 100 workers and sampling in this study using total sampling technique. Chi square test results obtained age was variable with p value 0.031 (p <0.05), workload with p value 0.001 (p <0.05), length of work with p value 0.001 (p <0.05), nutritional status with p value 0.964 (p> 0.05) and working period with p value 0.471 (p> 0.05). The conclusion is that age, workload and length of work are related to work fatigue. Nutritional status and period of work were not related to work fatigue. Suggestion for companies is to evaluate working hours and provide appropriate rest areas in the project area.

Abstract

COVID-19 has been declared a world pandemic, causing child health services in several places to not run optimally, including monitoring activities at posyandu. For this reason, researchers are interested in designing an application that can be used as an alternative to monitoring the growth and development of toddlers for mothers who cannot attend the posyandu, either due to the COVID-19 pandemic or other reasons. This study aims to determine the satisfaction of using the Android-based e-Posyandu Health Application (ePoK) as an alternative to posyandu in the new normal era. This study used a quasi-experimental study on 152 mothers of children under five who were taken by proportional stratified random sampling. Mother was given the application and used it for 1 month. The data obtained were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi square test. Based on the results of the study, most of the respondents were aged 20-40 years (98%), the majority had high education (59.9%), most were housewives (65.8%), the number of children in general was more than one (77.6 %), and the average age is less than 2 years (84.2%). The category of respondents' satisfaction with the ePoK application is mostly in the very satisfied category, which is 88.2%. There is a relationship between the characteristics of the mother's work, parity and the age of the youngest child on the satisfaction of using the ePoK application with pvalue<0.05. Respondents were very satisfied with this ePoK application. Based on these results, it is hoped that mothers of toddlers can take advantage of the ePoK application to monitor the growth and development of their toddlers

Abstract

Stunting case in Indonesia is still high, so the provision of complete health information for toddler health is extremely needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to design a health information service online by using WhatsApp to prevent toddler stunting in the rural community. This study was action research in which a co-design methodology was used to design the health information service. This study involved the health front, midwifery, nutritionist, and village apparatus in which they were interviewed and followed focus group discussion (FGD). In addition, the USE questionnaire was used to measure the effectiveness of the health information service that had been designed. The results of the interview and FGD showed that rural people knew more about the use of WhatsApp than other online communication platforms. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there were a number of health programs that would be stopped. As a consequence, online interactive health information service was extremely needed to promote the sustainability of health programs in the rural community. Furthermore, the results of the USE questionnaire showed the average percentage of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction of the online health information service was 85,43%. This indicates that the hotline stunting program (INSTING), an online health information service, is extremely eligible to be applied in the rural community in conducting communication regarding health information during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The increase in COVID-19 cases in the elderly presents many challenges in the field of health services during the current pandemic The high number of cases has a bad impact on mental health in the elderly. Anxiety is a first-order mental health problem in the elderly. Efforts to deal with anxiety experienced during this pandemic have a very positive effect on improving health and providing a better quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between the anxiety of covid-19 events and the quality of life of the elderly. The research method used a descriptive cross-sectional study design with a total sample of 100 respondents with sampling carried out a consecutive sampling from February 2022 to May 2022. Bivariate data analysis using spearman test. The results showed that the relationship between respondents' anxiety about the incidence of COVID-19 and quality of life obtained a p-value = 0.019 meaning that there was a significant relationship between respondents' anxiety and quality of life. The result of a correlation value of -0.234 has a weak relationship strength with a negative correlation which means that the fewer anxiety respondents have about the incidence of COVID-19, the better their quality of life and vice versa. It can be concluded that the importance of the role in providing physical, emotional, and psychological support to the elderly as well as recommendations for physical activity so that in the end it can have a positive effect on changes in their quality of life.

Abstract

Being physically disabled due to a natural disaster is a traumatic experience in a person's life that can make a person feel slumped and helpless in his life. It takes a psychotherapeutic intervention such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster resilience of victims of natural disasters who have physical disabilities in order to be able to bounce back, be productive, and be able to play their role again in society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ACT therapy on increasing the resilience of victims of natural disasters in Sigi who experienced physical disabilities. The research method used is quasy experiment with a one group pre-post test approach. The number of samples in this study was 22 respondents collected using purposive sampling techniques. This research was conducted in August-September 2022 in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of ACT therapy on increasing respondents' resilience (p=0000). In addition, this study showed that after being given ACT therapy, most respondents' resilience was in the high category (59%). This study indicates that a person who experiences a traumatic event such as a physical disability due to a natural disaster will face a difficult time in life, psychological vulnerability and the ability to cultivate low resilience. Therefore, it is important for health providers to pay attention to psychological aspects, as well as provide psychotherapeutic interventions such as ACT to victims of natural disasters, especially those who experience physical disabilities in the rehabilitative phase so that they can accept themselves, be committed, productive, and return to play their role in society

Abstract

Background : Balanced score card (BSC) has been for decades  used as a performance measurement tool in many healthcare setting including hospital. Hospital performance measurement is essential to gauge, spesifically during the covid-19 pandemic where many hospitals are experiencing difficulties to sustain. Balanced  Scorecard  (BSC) is one of the widely used method to improve hospital performance for it’s comprehensiveness. The method applied four perspectives, those are financial perspective, growth and learning, custumor, and internal process. The aim of this study is to review the development of BSC implementation in hospitals across the globe in the 3rd decade, and the benefit to implement in local hospitals. Method : Research method is scoping review. The search manually started by studying related articles. Key words used to search articles are  Hospital Performance  and Balanced Scorecard, hospital performance measurement through data base EMBASE, MEDLINE and PuBMed. Result : 400 records were identified and 23 underwent a full text review. 10 articles were included.  BSC in hospital setting has developed, not only as a performance evaluation tool but also to drive performance by integrating BSC as mapping strategy. This study shows that most hospitals still adapt the 2nd  generation of BSC,  mapping strategy.  Only one hospital performed the destination statement. A few of which applies it as a tool to measure performance Conclusion : BSC has been implemented as performance management tool in hospitals worldwide. There have been  improvements in the 3rd decade, its not only for monitoring performance as mapping strategy to approach hospital’s goals..

Abstract

Prior to the implementation of health technology, the proposed system or device needs to be assessed in various aspects. This assessment is known as the Health Technology Assessment (HTA). HTA is a systematic evaluation on effect, and/or impact of health technology which aims to provide information to policy makers regarding health technology. This information is needed to minimize costs and prevent the adoption of questionable technologies. The health technology in question can be in the form of drugs, therapy, medical procedures, and medical devices. The HTA process and methodology for medicines has been widely used, while for medical devices it is still scarce. From several literature reviews, the use of HTA criteria is different even though the nature of the object under reviews was in the same category of medical device. Hence, we conducted a study to determine what criteria that are often used in HTA for medical devices. The method in this research was a scoping review on previous HTA publications (n=392) available on PubMed and ScienceDirect databases. Based on the results of a literature search using PRISMA, there were only 7 articles according to the inclusion criteria related to HTA for medical devices with different subjects, namely: medical devices and hospital based HTA. Conclusion from these findings, it can be learned that the criteria often used in HTA for medical devices were namely economy, safety, effectiveness, and organization.

Abstract

Globally, malnutrition manifests most frequently as a failure to achieve linear growth. Stunting occurs when a person's growth is restricted. Stunting is a major public health concern because it affects an estimated 165 million children younger than 5 years old, and the primary goal is to reduce stunting prevalence by 40% between 2010 and 2025. Stunting is linked to both water and environmental issues as well as nutritional ones. sanitation. The purpose of this literature review is to investigate the connection between the availability of clean water and the rate of stunting in children younger than five. Google Scholar, PlosOne, SpringerLink, the Wiley Online Library, and PubMed are just some of the electronic databases used in this literature review/narrative review/method of research. "water + sanitation + child + stunting" are the search terms used to uncover this article's foundation. Articles that explain the connections between poor water and sanitation and stunting in children younger than five and were published between 2015 and 2021 were considered for inclusion. A review of 20 articles found that access to clean water and sanitation services (such as the availability of toilets, the frequency with which people defecate in the open, and the method by which they dispose of their toddlers' waste) were all linked to reduced height and weight in children under five. Researchers found that access to clean water and toilets were both risk factors for stunting in children younger than five. Stunting can be avoided with more health awareness campaigns and cross-sector collaboration on nutrition interventions.
